There's still a court case going on, the Supremes just aren't going to get involved to stop the ban from happening.  Just a guess, but that means it's proceeding and, unless the circuit court of appeals tries to stop it, the ban will continue as intended.

The courts vote didn't have any commentary so of course this is just speculation.  I think a line is being drawn, deliberately or otherwise, about what authority the courts actually have.  We saw this with the activist judge demanding planes change direction in mid-travel and now we see the Supremes not pulling rank regarding the military and the commander-in-chief.

"Who's in charge" is a crucial point to make and I think that's what the Supremes are doing here.  Just by refusing to take part, they're saying 'not us.'  We'd probably all prefer them to be more explicit on this, but the effect is basically the same.  If the lower court wants to overrule the commander-in-chief, they aren't going to be defended here.

Now it is possible that the court will rule against Trump who will appeal to the Supremes and from there they may make the wrong decision.  But at the moment, it does look like the leftist courts will just run around in circles and then give up.  They'll look for a new scheme and sooner or later, the Supremes will need to be dealt with, but I don't think it'll happen here.

India says they are specifically hitting terrorist sites and they did not hit military structures.  A Pakistani military spokesman says it was a direct attack and they will get revenge.  Doesn't sound like they agree on much so it will be difficult for them to find a peaceful solution.

They've been fighting each other for a long time, since they became nations in 1947.  Which does make an interesting parallel for Israel, the 'two-state solution' which doesn't really work.  It's even suggested that Israel is going to do something in the next few days that will eliminate their problems in Gaza.  So does that make this a distraction?  Or is Israel the permanent distraction so India and Pakistan can go at it?

Trump has made a statement which means nothing.  He just says they've been fighting for a long time but he hopes this ends quickly.  I don't expect him to fix this, I just don't want him to think he can.  Unless he has some actual weapon - which the US has had for decades - and shows it to the world.

I'm sure that won't happen but I wouldn't bet on it, what if this is all a set-up to reveal whatever that weapon could be?  Really don't want to think about that possibility, but is it worse than the conflict between two nuclear powers?  This really isn't the sort of thing we should be worrying about.

And what is BRICS doing about this?  Their main members are India and their neighbors, and Pakistan has requested to join.  What does this organization really stand for if they're willing to let each other fight like this?  Or maybe *they're* the ones who set this up as an excuse to show their influence.

And with that, she proves that she's permanently out of politics.  Not saying she can't be installed as POTUS but it's not for anything she does and certainly not for any appeal to the lower-classes.  Anybody who can't afford $75,000 for a ticket doesn't deserve to be there anyway.  Or $150,000 if her husband was actually allowed inside.  Haven't found how much the dress cost.

She does seem to have been making more public appearances these days, although I guess it's fair.  She's rich and has nothing else to do.  Unlike Hillary, she's not even pretending she won, she just wants to enjoy whatever little bit of fame she has left.  Like her looks, that will quickly decrease.

I do want to know what happened to her campaign debt.  Is she still emailing followers every few days asking for donations?  I will guess that someone has fixed that problem for her and we will not be informed about it.  But that's another sign that she's never going to anything meaningful ever again.  No job, no kids, nothing else to work with.  No wonder Democrats wanted her.

Yeah, we're all basically getting to that viewpoint ourselves.  So was Trump involved or is he just too embarrassed to admit his failure?  The latter is certainly possible, but given how much time has passed, the former seems more likely.  And he's saying less about this than when he took office a few months ago.

Ghislaine Maxwell is still alive.  Put her on live video to start spilling her guts.  Detail what she and Epstein did and who else took part in it.  What resources were used - companies, royalty - and where all the currency went.  The more specific she gets, the better.  It won't be enough evidence to immediately convict anyone but stop holding any of this secret.

Don't even limit it to Epstein, her father Robert Maxwell was involved in a lot of this same thing, and knew a lot more elites and celebrities.  The government may no longer have the Epstein files but I'm pretty sure others will, so this would start giving authorities a direction to go for.  And yes, do the same with P. Diddy.

I'll still compliment what Trump does when I see a reason, he's better than the alternative, but at this point, I will assume he was on Epstein's side and that's why he hasn't done anything about it in all these years.  It's also why he hasn't just come out and admitted this.  It's not like he's just keeping quiet because he doesn't want to piss off Bill Clinton or something.  Enough is enough.
