She's well-into middle age yet thinks she can give orders to the gangs.  And she doesn't want to hear from them if they don't obey her now and start attacking government officials.  I don't know if she has any authority outside her own imagination but nobody's going to listen to that.  The gangs know they'd be taken down if they were stupid enough to try and all the other protestors know they won't get in any trouble.

It's like we're just watching old women who believe they have real authority and they're behind all the protests.  Or rather, they're manipulated into thinking that.  Just the way she told them to go out and protect their turf.  If they're following her orders, it's hers, not theirs.  Then there's the whole point of taking it away from the US which is the invasion being fought here.

This just seems like a prime example of the sort of thing people are sick of.  Of course she quickly deleted this post because only afterwards did she realize how much trouble she'd gotten herself in.  She's ordering thugs to go out on the streets and die for the cause and isn't willing to stand behind that.  That's a bad way to make decisions, which is why she thinks she's in charge.

□ [“Rep. Al Green’s Attempt to Impeach Trump Over Iran Attacks Fails in Embarrassing Fashion"]

Only 79 Democrats voted for this, 128 voted against it, along with Republicans.  First of all, I'm curious who were the ones stupid enough to think this was a good idea.  Even if they knew it would go nowhere, they were just showing off to their voters who wanted the failure.  Maybe he's just getting revenge for being dragged out by guards during Trump's speech to Congress.

But clearly the majority of Democrats see that this isn't working.  Previous impeachments failed and this isn't even Green's first attempt this year.  If something fails, try it again and again, some people eventually see that as a bad idea.  Green and 78 other Democrats are not those people.  I'm curious how they're going to deal with this internally because it's becoming a bigger and bigger problem.

I haven't seen anything worth writing about but there's been any number of other recent stories of members of Congress just acting like lunatics.  Both parties, and Trump for that matter.  They're not acting like normal politicians, they're lashing out at each other.  Green and his ilk are completely wrong, but at least something like this is understandable, especially compared to, for example, Trump promising a ceasefire.  If it wasn't Trump, I'd assume he was drunk and stoned for thinking that would happen.  Green is probably both.

□ [“DOJ Hits Back Hard After Biden Judge Defies Supreme Court"]

This happened yesterday, the Supreme Court ruled that the POTUS does have authority to kick out illegals and move them to other countries.  No one explains why they get to pick which country they're moving to if they don't want to stay in their home country, but anyway...  That lower-court judge immediately responded that he's keeping his verdict out there, he calls the shots.

So now the DOJ demands a more detailed explanation of the SCOTUS verdict.  This may be where the break in judges becomes obvious because the district judge cites Sotomayor’s dissent as his justification.  He's picking and choosing what he wants as an excuse to go his own way and ignore the higher court itself.  I'm not sure what would be worse, if he has no clue what kind of example that sets for others or if he fully understands and that's why he did this.

It probably won't happen but I would like the Supremes to send out a 9-0 order on why they have to be listened to.  Without that, this petty judge has no authority either.  I still think they're keeping their verdicts as minimal as possible precisely to avoid problems, but this might be a moment where they give a wider view of what's going on.  Or they ignore it or just support the district judge anyway.

□ [“Trump Shows Frustration at Israel, Iran, and the Leftwing Gaslight Media"]

The attack on the media is just typical Trump, his real attention is on Israel and Iran violating the ceasefire.  But it's not clear if they really did, or by how much.  It sounds like they were shooting at each other up until the ceasefire started.  Then, maybe, Iran fired something and Israel responded harder.  Doesn't sound like we're getting much news so that's not written in stone.

Why did Trump even say there would be a ceasefire?  Now he's responsible for it failing.  Who was this even supposed to appeal to?  Iran and Israel aren't going to listen.  The left hates Trump anyway no matter what.  The uniparty is a bit quieter but otherwise the same.  I'm skeptical how many MAGA would actually turn against Trump for getting us involved in this, but the possibility is there.  This isn't Ukraine, this *is* our business and it could get much worse.

Really, everyone's reaction seems to be minimal at this point.  Except Trump, which is why this claim stands out.  The Muslim world seems to be quiet.  I'm sure they're having it out in private but in public they mostly look like they don't want to be involved in this.  But whatever it is, it's not the *war* Trump was supposed to be starting.  Not sure what that means but at least it's something.
