It's being said that Ukraine finally got around to starting their great summer offensive and it's already failed.  They managed to get one village that wasn't of any importance - which may explain Russia not defending it harder - and whatever else they gained, Russia took back in a few days.

That was it?  All these months spent planning and training and taking boodles of cash from the US and that's all you managed to do?  They could have done that ages ago.  Did they not have enough weapons?  Then why attack in the first place.  Were they under pressure from Europe to get something done before winter arrived and they really really needed Russian fuel?  Those sanctions don't appear to be doing anything.

It's one of those things that makes you wonder if there's some deeper plan going on because this is ridiculous.  And it's still clear that whatever Russia's doing, it's not straightforward conquest because they had that in place months ago.  I still think Putin may be working with the NWO as the heavy, to get blamed for everything while they loot their respective nations.

Is there a way we can build walls quickly around residential areas?  We'll still have to deal with the residents being divided so some will be kicked out, probably those who oppose guns.  I would also expect most regions to go without elections for a while, that's the way Democrats want it.

Al Sadr is a Shi'ite so he is in line with Iran but sometimes defies them when it's convenient.  I would assume that's just part of the very long rivalry between the two regions.  If one side was Sunni or infidel, they'd already be destroyed by the other.

Great, now I'm reminiscing about fifteen years ago when my unit helped kick al Sadr's ass.  So much for glory days.

I also see reports that the embassy is being evacuated.  Obviously it's a situation where you don't know what's really happening, but if I had to bet, we're either evacuating now or we will in the next few days.

So far, the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago hasn't gone anywhere.  More is coming out that the documents taken were unclassified by the POTUS and more was taken that's protected by attorney/client privilege.  The guy in charge of that, Tim Thibault, was removed from headquarters a few days ago.

Thibault also had major roles in preventing the investigation of Hillary's secure documents, made sure Hunter Biden's laptop was kept hidden and handled the FBI's role in election integrity for 2020.  Supposedly a dozen FBI agents are talking about him to Congress and prosecutors.

It's possible that the Justice Department is just sacrificing Thibault to save themselves.  Those in charge will claim he lied to them so they can get back to attacking Trump.  That's as believable as saying that anything will be done about this.  Thibault will probably get a job handling election integrity this November.

Just a note about the mention I made a couple days about Washington DC banning its unvaccinated students.  It's been pointed out that schools receive their funding based on how many students show up, especially in the first semester, so if the mayor's rules were obeyed, they'd lose a lot of money.

Just a note for future reference:

And notice that it's not the rich and famous they're going after.  Even leftists can't be so deluded [citation needed] to claim half the country is rich and famous, all the poor unknowns vote Democrat.  No, these are people who have to go to work everyday or they won't be able to afford food, rent and gas, all of which Democrats oppose even as they never go without.

Of course if they have guns, they'll be able to defend themselves.  Oh wait, Democrats oppose that too.  Well what about the POTUS being required to follow the laws?  Oh, that's fascist.  That's why they send men with guns to the house of anyone they don't like.

This really is just self-projection, doing what they claim their enemy does.  They could assume their supporters are smart enough to see reasons to disagree but that's not going to happen.  So they seize more power and eliminate resistance because they're fighting fascism.

It really is about trying to resist individuality.  It can't be done but they believe/pretend to believe it can, so anything they do is for 'others,' the ones whose suffering they're causing.  They don't need to think about actual ideas, they can just determine who says what according to skin color and made-up gender.  Even that's a contradiction, you can invent your own biological gender but you're born with this skin color and that's the only one you'll ever have?

Before long, just questioning the rulers will be proof of "domestic terrorism."  Or rather, if you're accused of daring to question them, that's enough to guarantee conviction by any court in the land.

As always, I have to stress that assuming they don't have anything ready is just a mistake on our parts.  One reason leftism goes without much success is because they generally assume their opponents can't think or prepare for anything going wrong, never mind the longtime saying, 'no plan survives first contact with the enemy.'

Just because they simplify everything beyond all reason doesn't mean they don't figure out some ways to make progress on their own terms.  That's how they get to be the rulers.

Perhaps it's not so much about plans, it's about a level of perception that is more direct than most people.  No idea if that's true but it's certainly possible, that's an example of the sort of thinking required for preparation or plans.  Now obey me and it'll all be fine.

I do need to point out that the article also says DC's been very late on royalty payments which it's never had a problem with since Warner Bros. took over.  DC didn't make royalty payments when Warner took over in 1967, they only started paying royalties around 1980.

Been thinking about this one.  The article most covers problems with the media and the superhero movies, ending with a theory that WB might be literally broke.  Not sure about that and obviously I don't pay remotely enough attention to any pop culture to have a clue how well any of their countless suboutlets are doing these days, but I am interested in the detail on DC Comics.

DC has always lost money for a very long time but given their expenses and the benefits to the intellectual properties, it's been easy for WB to ignore that.  But the new owners are auditing DC.  Maybe they're just looking into everything.  Maybe WB has no money so they're looking at cutting everything that doesn't bring in a profit.

I've always had the theory that comics were one of the most fundamental bricks in the foundation of the corporate empire.  Never come up with any proof or even a decent explanation, but I've always thought that.  Then again, if we're going to have corporate-owned comics, I see no problem with using them as a 'loss leader.'  Batman has brought in more money than Batman could spend, let the comics creators keep doing their thing.

Ok, fine.  But they're leftists and are all about throwing out what makes things work in favor of anything else they can get their hands on.  I'm also trying to figure out how the hell the superhero genre has become the major factor in movies, the way it was for comics over all these decades.

Right there is a convenient example of why the corporate-owned mentality doesn't work.  Just look at how comics have become promotion/submission for movies, and they've dumped the thought balloon!!!

One of the greatest assets comics storytelling has is the use of the thought balloon.  Different characters can think whatever they think for whatever reason is relevant to the story, how can you get rid of that just because you don't know what some highly-paid actor is thinking on screen?

The example I always use is to take a generic boy-meets-girl story.  Ok, they talk to each other, we get that part of it, but they can each have thought balloons!  They can react to each other or to themselves and the reader gets to see it.  Maybe one is obsessed with the other and the other is thinking about what to have for dinner tonight.  Maybe they're cautious, or aggressive, or flat-out lying to each other.  Thought balloons add this potential to even the simplest of stories.

You can have one panel where some character is walking in the background and also gets a thought balloon.  Maybe it's a witty comment on the story, maybe a random joke, maybe it's a plot element which the main characters will run into a few pages later but now the reader already knows about it.

There's all this potential to the stories in this medium and they dump it to sell out to movies???

Hopefully I'll think more about DC in the near future, I just wanted to bitch about that.

I had a thought once, but don't worry, I got the vaccine for it.

Even leftists are pointing out the problems with California banning gas vehicles.  The state already keeps shutting down electricity which is a big problem for powering the vehicles they want you to buy.  If there's a fire or an earthquake or something and you need to run, but your vehicle isn't charged, you're in big trouble.

Besides the power grid problems, there's also the expense.  You've got to punish poor people who don't spend money they don't have on what you tell to buy.  The public transportation system is already broken and they're taking a lot longer to do anything about it than a competent administration would need.

Obviously they'll all continue to support the rulers but a few of them can get close to the truth.  Haven't seen any actual evidence yet but I've heard that the DC mayor realized she looked horrible if she banned kids from school right away so she's given them until January 2023.

They've just demonstrated that they will support people who do nothing no matter how much it costs people who can actually do something.  And these people claim to be for the "working man," showing that they are blatantly lying.

Still trying to figure out what the sane people can do to organize a resistance.  One thing I'm definitely not sure about is how to handle money.  For the time being, we might be able to continue using the US dollar but that would need to stop at some point unless our rulers crumble, which probably won't happen.

Barter and trade would be useful but only for low-level/immediate tasks.  How do you barter with someone to install plumbing in your home?  How do you barter for production of food for any more than a handful of people?

Gold and silver would be an obvious choice.  The problem is that most of us don't have any and most of us don't live any place we could dig some up so that leaves us with the same problems.

I don't pretend to know anything about money - give me some and maybe I can learn :D - but I think it's quite possible, even likely, that localities would start printing their own forms of money.  Ok, that's believable, perhaps even sensible, but how do they work out differences for trade?  At some point they may get into agreement and share a common currency but I doubt that would happen right away.

There's also our tyrants but I do think they're largely ignorable at this level.  They're trying to put all money on the internet which they use to invent every other falsehood so that's just going to shut itself off, especially once the electricity starts going out.  As the saying goes, knowledge will be the real wealth.

But that still leaves the majority of people with the problems of physical trade.  I am trying to think about how it might work but there are obviously going to be a lot of problems no matter what.

And just because I had the idea so I might as well put it down, I'm going to assume that many of the people who wind up in charge of their locals will have military experience.  It might be helpful if they sew together their souvenir t-shirts or posters from their respective units to treat as a flag/guide-on.  That way other regions who decide to pay a visit can recognize that they're at a place that recognizes the proper policies and traditions.

I'd take it as a given that people wouldn't run into and recognize their old buddies, but they would know when they're dealing with someone who came from the same background.  I don't know if police officers or other organizations would be as effective with this, but it's certainly possible.  Just a thought.

Just the quote from the title tells us he's a sociopath, any sane person would know they'd made bad decisions in their long lives.  The fact that he says he's starting the 'next chapter of his career' makes it worse, at his age he's not going to have any more careers.  He's rich so he can fool around with whatever peaks his interest, driving contests with Paul Pelosi or something, but there is no more career.  If he knew anything, he would know that.

He flip-flopped multiple times on the importance of wearing cloth on your face to prevent a virus.  He also claims he never shut anything down and there's already a video of numerous quotes of him saying the exact opposite.  That's how a sociopath rolls and that's why he's been there for fifty freaking years.

The Russia/Ukraine thing is still going on.  Still no clue who tried to assassinate a Russian figure and got his daughter instead.  But there is a point made that if Ukraine was behind it, then they consider assassination a valid aspect of war.  Which is fine, but Russia is free to retaliate.

And if the US was involved...  That's the standard our rulers set for a war we should have no part in, but they demanded it.  They really see no way that could go wrong.

At this point, the only hope is that it was caused by other Russians and everybody believes that, which isn't how wars work.

I also wonder if the point isn't to arm the world against the United States, which would explain all the money and weapons being pumped into Ukraine of which only about 30% actually reach their destination.  I can't imagine any point for this other than to create so much chaos that the New World Order is begged to take over.  This seems unlikely but that doesn't mean this isn't their intention.

I was going to survive, but then I found something better to do.

What we really need to do is figure out how to contact and work with as many people on our side as possible, locally, regionally and nationally, so as many of us as possible can survive.

I've been looking at bug-out bags and websites about them.  I won't say what I've been doing but hopefully you're all doing at least as much.  Those who live reasonably far from a city are fairly safe.  As long as you can produce food and security, you have far less danger.

People will need fuel to drive out to your location, which most-likely won't happen, and as long as you live in the middle of nowhere, they'll find it hard to get to you even on foot.  Not that you're entirely safe, maintain as much security as possible, but it's far less dangerous.

In your case, the main worry will be when you're the one who needs help, nobody's going to be there to save you.  Fire, medical problems, if the invaders do find you...  So basically, you'll be much much safer than the rest of us, but when you are in danger, you're basically finished.

But what about those of us who live in cities?  I'm still trying to figure that one out.

The danger will be much much much higher.  There may be more people around who can help but that increases the need for food, water, security, as well as the way that any of them might turn traitor on the rest of the group.

I see two choices that are the most ideal.  One is to pack your stuff in the car and get as far into the middle of nowhere as you've got fuel for.  It's not clear how much of an option that is or how soon you should run away.  For one thing, how big is your car?  How much back-up supplies can you fit in it?

If you have a trailer, ok, that helps.  If you don't, there's the expense of getting one, storing it until you need it, preventing anyone else from stealing it.  Or you could wait until everything falls apart and hope there's one available for you to steal.  May not be a good choice but it's certainly a valid option.

The other closest-to-good option I see is lock yourself up at home with all your stuff and hope that you have enough to survive on, food and security.  If you have a gun, keep it loaded and ready.  If all you've got is a knife or a baseball bat, do the best you can.

This is where having people you can trust would help.  The problem is that I expect that there will be so much chaos that there's no way to know what will happen.  Riots?  Fires?  Everybody running away?  Everybody hiding at home?  Invaders?  Do the rulers actually have a plan for the next step to increase their power at our expense?  Anything can happen.

I come from the military so naturally that's where I look to for inspiration.  Hopefully you'll have more people involved, but you'll need to organize them and keep track of what you're doing.  You'll need to contact other units and keep in contact with them.  There's maintenance, medical, security, and where are you getting food from?

I don't know how far this will extend, it'll probably be different for everyone.  A block, a neighborhood, an apartment complex?  No idea.

I do think there should be one person in charge and, let's face it, he'll be male.  Get as many people with military/police experience available as advisers, yes.  There should be a way to tell the leader when he's wrong and also a way that the leader gives the orders, end of discussion.  Don't know how that'll work but fortunately my military experience never got that far.

Ideally it can be divided into security, maintenance, etc.  My guess is the women will look after the children and old people, those in charge of the women will work with the men in charge.  But many women will have to be involved with things like security and a lot of kids will as well.

Don't know how long it'll be before everything breaks down, but we can all see that coming.  Ideally we could put together now organizations and connections to help us pull through the mess.  It's our only hope.

That's why I keep pushing this stuff.  We need to promote as much genuine knowledge as possible.  For instance, I think this is a pretty good summary of what we need, but that doesn't mean I got everything right.  Spread it to as many other people as you can but point out what I was wrong about.  That's where I came up with the example of people as advisers to whoever's in charge.  I sure as hell hope I'm never in charge of anything but if that's what we're stuck with, what would I do for help?

We really need to get his resistance going as soon as possible.  I don't see any other way to have any chance of surviving this tyranny that's only getting started.

Knowledge is power but power is not knowledge. What's up with that?

This is an example of the mentality of these creatures, they're willing to go after our pets too.  I'm guessing that they didn't just decide one day to do this, they know what their subordinates are like and will show how kind they are by taking the animals in.

Obviously sensible people know that viruses don't effect animals the way they do humans, but this is Los Angeles.  If you declare your pet doesn't self-identify as a cat, then who knows what diseases it might have or what it can do?  Better safe than sorry.  And just ignore that you've had two years to think of this and not even the important scientific people gave it any thought because that would be stupid.  *NOW* it's important.

Animal care is a lot cheaper than human care and there's much less government regulation.  Some people want to change that.  China started testing seafood a little while ago, this is probably the main inspiration, following their masters' example.

So if Republicans win in November, they'll take over in January and (theoretically) Fauci would be required to answer questions if he were a highly-paid government employee.  He wouldn't get an option, he has to answer.  So he's quitting in December.  How nice.

What's that going to do about the virus?  Aren't we all supposed to die from that without him protecting us?  And he's running away just to avoid questions.  Now we may never know what work he did with China where the virus started.

Biden's still on vacation.  There's less footage of him feeling up small children but otherwise there's no difference.  He doesn't do anything, the people there do it all and didn't even need to pretend to win an election.

There's also increasing polls of him getting lower and lower.  You'd think that was strange for someone who got more votes than any POTUS in history but Democrats don't seem to be the slightest bit worried.  Pretend for the sake of argument that Biden actually got all those votes from real people because they didn't like Trump but there's very little concern about how people will vote if they don't like Biden.  Just goes to show how the rulers want it.

How many things to the staff actually have which require an authentic POTUS signature?  Even there, it's not like they need to provide proof that it's real.  And they probably don't have to put up with Biden anymore.  There's the Russia/Ukraine thing, there's the economic collapse, there's problems with Europe and North Korea, China, they absolutely don't need to tell the POTUS anything, he'd just get in the way.

I'm getting the impression that the next target date is the end of September.  No proof or even anecdotal evidence, I've just noticed a few references to September 30 in random places which stuck out for me.  So that's what I'm going with.  I have thought that they'd just go a few months here-and-there to let the collapse get closer, I think that's what's going on now.

Then there's the plan to cancel printed money and do it all on computer by the end of the year.  There's no way that can happen, not in reality.  The question is what plans do they have to keep us from resisting?  It'll be winter so there'll be more need for heat.  Right now we get to see how Europe is preparing and it's not good.

I keep saying this but get back-up supplies, as many as you can.  And we'll need to start making connections with others for trade and barter.  Also fuel and defense.

"Knowledge" is going to be the the source of wealth, people who actually know how to do things.  When the collapse happens, someone who can keep a car running will be allowed to basically get away with anything else.  Someone who produces food, someone with medical abilities, these will be crucial for a lot of people.

I can think and I'm good at supply/logistics but that's far away from actually being able to do something competently.  Those of us who respect actual ability need to start working together as soon as possible.  At the very least, it'll give us a chance for survival.
