Where are those "serious economists" now?  Were there any unserious ones who were paying bills last July and knew everything was costing more?  By October, the inflation was "transitory" and it hasn't stopped.

If Biden really wanted to show that his supporters can relate to the common man, he could do an Executive Order that says government officials no longer get Government Cards to pay for gasoline.  They'd have to buy gas out of their own pockets.  It's not like they don't make enough money for that.

But he'd be overthrown in twenty minutes, the elites wouldn't put up with that.  Only poor people have to pay for gas out of their own pockets..

I've seen another article on the tampon shortage.  More of a chance that's really happening.  Hopefully all the shortages will be limited to women and babies but how many would there have to be before the government admits that it's totally messed up?

The problem of being with a cult, they'd all have to admit that something's going wrong before they could do anything, and the people in charge don't want to do anything.  That's probably why cults and similar organizations don't break apart, they just have people leave quietly so they won't be noticed.

See, that's stuff you'd have to think about to get into a mess on the other side of the world, if you were someone who thinks.  I'm willing to bet Russia thought about it beforehand.  And of course they made sure they have food to eat.  That's a plus which the people who immediately wanted sanctions never noticed.  They just turned to the media who said it was all working out wonderfully, Russia was totally defeated months ago.

This is still going on although it sounds like they're getting close to an end.  Russia will add some more territory, leftists will get more media attention complaining about Russia and they'll keep seizing more and more power.

It's not clear if the powers-that-be are all working together on this or not.  Obviously many people would be left out of the loop but that doesn't make things any clearer.  The Department of Defense has released a public statement admitting that the US did indeed have 46 military biolabs in Ukraine, which only a couple months ago, Russia told the UN about and leftists and media responded that this was a total lie and Russian-propaganda.

So now the Defense Department is a pawn of Putin?  And what about Zelensky, is he going to surrender to Russia and turn over everything he knows or will he escape?  Or will the US just shoot him to keep our secrets a little longer?

Of course the DoD says all the labs were totally safe and peaceful but who would believe them?  These aren't the only labs we have all over the world.  Now everybody's got to be wondering what we've got in their countries, all because leftists couldn't let Russia and Ukraine deal with their own problems.  Well, maybe they wanted to save the biolabs too, who knows?

Well, somebody knows.  Not that it helps us but somebody knows.

I have been looking at Executive Order 13990 that someone made Joe Biden sign.  My reading is still below what it used to be and this is the most-government of all governmental forms, but I have made out a couple of sections that do specify cancellation of the Keystone Pipeline and drilling for oil in certain locations, while also putting a large number of bureaucrats in charge of deciding what oiling is allowed.

It's got Biden's signature, if you believe he's actually the POTUS, then you're blatantly lying when you say the government has no power to make gas prices more expensive.  It costs tens of millions of dollars just to get a lease, then even more to get a drilling permit, then even more for years of drilling and that's not counting all the other government offices you need to go through to get approval, all before you find a single drop of oil.  It's not the oil companies' fault that we're paying more.

I keep pointing this out but it's still true, farmers need fuel to run their tractors and plows to grow their crops.  Truckers need fuel to bring the crops to factories for processing.  The factories need fuel, then more truckers bring the finished food to the grocery store.  Every step costs a lot more because of government-imposition and the consumer has to pay for that.

That's not counting everything else that is produced which also requires fuel to manufacture and transport.  Everybody who believes the government has nothing to do with this is part of the problem.  At some point, everything is going to break down and they'll need food, electricity, transportation just like the rest of us, but our side will have known this was wrong all the time and their side refuses to have any guns.

We have so little to look forward to these days, we should at least keep that in mind.  Ask the people who think there's more than two genders for help, you won't get any here.

I've had this article open for a few days, trying to ponder it.  I didn't even know there was a Star Wars Hotel at Disney World.  I might even have gone there if they paid me enough.  They are one of those hotels that pays people to stay there, right?

Oh.  Well, they must have been interesting to other people then, if they opened this hotel.

Oh wait...

$5000 for a two-night stay?  Right there, you're not going to get a lot of people who stay there.

And it's basically required to not let the guests out.  Apparently the hotel is supposed to be some galactic star-cruiser that wasn't in any of the movies I saw so people can't just walk outside and see... Disney World.

If you have a desire to go to Disney World, and enough money (and presumably someone else would want to go there with you) then the point would not be to avoid Disney World.  That's another mark against the concept.  If you want to not see Disney World and not go outside, there are many cheaper ways to do that.  You can stay home and watch a movie.

But ok, let's say you're a really really really big Star Wars fan and you've got tons of money to throw away.  You've got a spare weekend, not counting the travel time and expense, so why not?  Just to say you've been there.

What are you supposed to get out of this?  Based on the video, there's almost nothing that has any obvious connections to the movies.  Apparently the name of the cruiser itself came from some book.  Few people read anyway and the idea that anybody would be so fascinated in this concept is just preposterous.

There's a lightsaber training class.  Ok, that is connected to the movies, score one for the hotel.  Can you use the lightsaber to cut through the walls and leave like whatsisname did in that horrible Prequel movie?  I'm willing to bet you can't which means a lot of other details which keep this from having anything to do with the lightsabers we all loved decades ago.  And that's the closest to the One True Trilogy you're going to get.

As movies, yes, they're wonderful, a good time was had by all.  But they were really never any more than that and whatever success they've had anywhere else is incredibly minimal.  I read exactly one Marvel comic that wasn't an adaptation of the movies although I did spend a lot of quarters on the first two video games.  But those didn't build anything, there was nothing to build.

It's just a movie, likable main characters, fun adventures, little more.  You have to be seriously deluded to think otherwise, like you'd self-identify as a jedi or something stupid.

The lightsaber was a nifty movie weapon but they were rarely used in the original trilogy.  Yet ever since then, they've been thrown in everywhere, ruining everything.  And remember, Luke didn't even know what they were.  He asked what that was when old Ben took one out of an old trunk.

Luke didn't know what the Force was, he didn't know what Jedis were.  At most, everybody considered them some old myth, even though they were galaxy-famous in Luke's own lifetime.  It's like someone in his mid-twenties not believing that George Lucas made Star Wars movies, that's not how reality works, at least if you're sane.

But now the entire franchise, as a part of Disney's World, keeps imposing them more and more every year, insisting that everything they invent about them is some magical wonder.  What, are people going to hire a smuggler to get them into that $2500/night hotel that they're not allowed to leave?  [They can check out any time they like, but...]

Obviously there are some people who are dangerously-obsessed with this franchise.  It's tough to imagine how they could have gotten into positions of authority or influence over those in charge.  I wouldn't blame George Lucas for ruining my childhood - I blame Joe Chill for that - but it does look like the last several decades could be summarized as our self-appointed rulers thinking they could use the Star Wars franchise to imprison us all, and our younglings.

I know, if Lucas hadn't wanted to do a Flash Gordon movie, something else would have come along that would have been just as useful for our masters.  We don't know how much of this is planned and how much is just happenstance, but it gives us something to think about for a few decades while waiting in a desert for some kid to come along.

Hell, next they'll try to do a hotel where you can be in all the movies owned by Disney.  Now that actually sounds tempting but it won't be cheap, that's for sure.

I'd write a book about this but I've got too many video games to play.

I've been saying it all year and I'll keep saying it, the truckers need to go on strike.  I want all of them to stay at home but even if only 1/3 does this, that would be a major problem for our self-appointed rulers.  Or even 1/4.

It would put a major dent in the supply and logistics field that leftists would have no clue how to solve and possibly even bring in more truckers on strike.  They certainly wouldn't want to have to pick up all the loads now and the government's still screwing them over too.

The standard leftist response is 'just use the military' shows off their ignorance.  That's not what the military does, few in the military can drive trucks in the first place and taking away those who can would shut down all the other military tasks that require truck driving.

What else are they going to do?  Train people to drive trucks?  They've had decades to do that and we're still short of drivers.  Remove the rules on truck driving?  That would give the truckers a win and everyone else who thinks the government is making rules for the sake of ruling.  Send in leftists to drive trucks?  That's not going to happen.

I know I keep saying this but it's going to happen anyway.  At some point, truckers will refuse to keep putting up with this and then everything will go to hell.  Doing it *NOW* would give our side the advantage and their side the disaster.  The sooner we get it started on our terms, the sooner we can end it and rebuild something worthwhile instead of what leftists want.

To put it another way, they're probably already planning to have robots do the truck driving, is that who you want to be replaced by?

I have been wondering how we're going to need to organize after everything breaks down.  The decent people probably won't want to shoot anybody who gets close but there's going to have to be some way of distinguishing between possible allies and everybody else, particularly once things like food start getting scarce.

Basically any obvious leftist would be kept away and the only reason they wouldn't be shot on sight is a desire to not waste ammunition.  Obviously they could be executed in other ways, but that's why most leftists would probably go back to pretending that they're decent people.  They used to do that, it's what got them so far.

Religion is certainly an option, everybody who even tries to get in has to join the group's belief, but that does look uncomfortably close to being a cult.  I don't see a good way around that.  Leftists won't have any actual skills to bring in so they won't have that option.  Someone who knows how to keep a refrigerator running would have a lot more leeway than someone who recites pro-trans/abortion/global warming propaganda.

One thing that would be worrisome is people who show up with a lot of food.  To an extent, that is understandable.  Some of us are indeed getting back-up supplies together to be as ready as possible for the upcoming collapse.  A month or two after the downfall, these people might be willing to stick our heads outside and look for any survivors, sharing food would be part of that out of human decency.

Ok, fine, but there will be leftists who made similar plans to infiltrate the survivors.  They won't be any more sane by then but claiming they were never liberals and by they way, here's food, that would give them a pass which could lead to more problems.

This is an area where my military experience is totally unhelpful, I simply obeyed the rules and never even bothered to learn why or how they were put into place.  Security obviously needs to think about such things.

We're also told how hard the Russian economy has been hit but they've never pointed to anything except sportscars, fancy boats and other accessories for the very rich.  Russia doesn't need to import very much, they make most of what their nation needs and even export it.  It's not hard to find countries that want food and oil, if you're willing to sell it, which Russia doesn't need to do.  They build their own vehicles, they can fuel them, they work as tanks or planes.  It's the sort of economy the US used to have before leftists took over.

Thinking about individualism, a common leftist tactic when hearing something they don't like is to say 'you got that from Fox News/Rush Limbaugh/whatever they're into now.'

This removes the very concept of thought, they can only believe someone is saying what they were told by someone else.  This makes it convenient to ignore whatever was being said, but it also denies the very notion that people can think for themselves and reach a similar conclusion.  

It's definitely projection, they're the ones who are saying what they were told which is what they accuse others of doing.  They probably do think for themselves, whether they like it or not, but they deny it at all costs.  Lucky for them they all reach the same conclusion, whatever they were told to think.

By dismissing the very concept of individual thought, they guarantee they can never perceive everything that exists, neither can their masters.  This guarantees their failures and probably encourages them to believe reality is whatever they want it to be.

I always use basic examples of reality.  If belief is all that defines reality, why don't people just believe they're never hungry?  That would save a lot of money on food.  There's no point of banning guns, just believe they don't exist and they can't hurt anybody.  You could go up to the roof and declare that you don't believe in gravity, then start walking.  Nothing bad could happen if you don't believe in it.

Reality is too complicated for us to define it but the closer we get, the better off we are.  We are all individuals so we're all going to have different perceptions and thoughts, that's why there's human conflict, as is the fact that so many people want to deny reality.

This is an unsolvable problem.  To a large extent, we can't tell who is denying reality and who is actually thinking.  We can't read each other's thoughts and we often can't accurately communicate our thoughts to each other with full comprehension.  Those who acknowledge thought and reality have something to work with, those who don't, don't.

I am definitely on the side of individualism.  As a bonus, I get to include ten years of military experience where it really became clear how the armed forces are *NOT* about individuality, but because they have to recognize reality - it's part of their job - they handle it as best they can.

That's one reason the policy is to solve problems at the lowest level, so judgement and policies are implemented by those who are familiar with the individuals they're dealing with in these specific cases.  Doing this supports the unit and the mission and the individuals involved.  Doing it some other way wouldn't work as well.

So this is Earth-2, and what have you done? Another earth over and a new one just begun.

Even the media is starting to come out against him.  I doubt any of them have bothered to notice the price in gasoline or food, it's probably all about the polls which ask people who *have* noticed this for the last year and a half.

The media even checked on the official records of this meeting, transcribed on February 9, and there's absolutely no mention of such a thing.  There was a report last October from a leftist-friendly group which said that, by 2030, overall prices would go down $500 a year.  Not utility costs specifically, just in general, *if* everybody stopped using gasoline by then and if solar/wind power started being able to support itself, which it can't do now.  California's having blackouts regularly for a reason.

That's the closest anybody has found to a specific comment that Biden specifically cited.  He also cited that we were trying to keep from getting gasoline from "autocrats" even though they're the ones he's been trying to get gasoline from, Venezuela, Iran and yes, Russia.

The media is also starting to ask questions about the baby food issue, asking who briefed Biden and when.  He's already admitted he didn't understand what he was told, so when was he told and by whom?  All the official POTUS spokesman says is that the briefings were in "regular channels."  Just some random person who came along or is there anybody whose job is to speak to Biden on a regular basis, one that he'll actually listen to?

Biden says the briefing was in "early April."  He waited until mid-May to do anything or say anything.  That's how important it is to feed Americans.  The spokesman insists it was "late April" which means she's saying Biden was lying, or just doesn't know when something happened.  It could have been last year for all we know.

Of course it was last October when the baby food companies reported the problem to the FDA who Biden has probably heard of at some point in his long life.  The same spokesman says that Biden and the government have not been wrong about inflation, even though they were listening to the Secretary of the Treasury who just said she was wrong about inflation.  That's not how things actually work but our rulers are people who don't actually work.

But Karine Jean-Pierre claims the "whole of government" is involved in fixing this problem.  What is the CIA doing?  She just claims she hasn't talked to Biden, or listened to him on things he said yesterday about what she's being asked about.

His decades-long public image wasn't about very serious things, he prefers getting ice cream.  At least when he can't feel up small children on camera.  That's why the media hasn't been giving him much coverage because he'd just look worse than he already has.  It seems like they're slowly giving up on that now.  It was only when the press started reporting on the baby formula thing that Biden got involved, claiming he had been informed much earlier even though there's no records of that.

Not that it'll help, the media will receive orders on what to report and they'll obey.

He takes Monday and Friday off.  I don't know how the dates are tracked, he's reportedly had a full half-year off in the last year and a half, but doing a three-day week where all he does is complain aren't respecting him like he thinks he deserves isn't productive.  But  I guess the kids can wait until he gets around do doing something next week, or the week after.  Food's not that important.

So the plan for June is 'pretend genders are real.'  There's probably more coming up but that's what they're starting with.  You can tell who the oppressed are, they'll punish you if you speak out.

I expect gas prices to hit $5 in a week or so.  Isn't that what gays would want?

There's the baby formula thing.  Why don't they just admit that they want kids to go without food?  They're already doing that for schools that don't promote leftist beliefs, even as they run ads about how school meals are the only food some kids get every day.  Leftists have been demanding that people start eating bugs for a while now, safe to assume that's going to become mandatory shortly.  Especially at school.  They'll have to do that even if they go ahead and pretend that men can become pregnant.

Marvel has already scheduled a "Secret Wars" movie for 2026.  Really?  They already killed everybody, are they expecting to do that again?  The only "Illuminati" issue I read covered it and I think they established that the Beyonder was part of the one of the infinity stones but really?  I would have totally loved a movie like this when I was a kid but now it just sounds horrible.

I will probably see it though, if the world still exists by then.  I'm not expecting to see any other Marvel movies so at least it gives me something to look forward to, in an 'I'm not going to enjoy this' sort of way.

They could have gone there to sell him some new clothes, particularly those who can't be seen by the stupid or unfit for their jobs.  That would show how Biden really is, and he'd get a kick out of it too.
