What did the city do to prevent these murders?  Was there any more they could have done and if so, why didn't they do it?  And were any other crimes going on over the weekend or was it limited to these murders?  Face it, we know the answers to these questions.  So what was the skin color of the victims, or the shooters?

It's probably just a normal weekend for Chicago but this was the worst timing for Democrats who need to pretend they can do anything about crime other than take bribes.  I'm guessing they'll come out in the next day or so and say *maybe* they could use some help.  Not that they'll actually do anything to help, it's just lying to the cameras, but it looks like they're doing something.  Meanwhile they're just giving Trump an excuse to move in, assuming he didn't already have one.

But inside and out of Chicago, this just makes the left look bad.  If you can't be bothered to protect your own voters in your own towns, wtf do you think you're going to do against Trump?  And why, given that you already support your people being killed.  It's similar to how we suddenly hear Europe talking about how maybe they should take military defense seriously, Democrats need to start treating crime like a bad thing instead of a guaranteed voter base.

Assuming this isn't a hoax, it's just leftist delusion.  Maybe they think it will fool others but it certainly fools themselves.  The implication is that they're preparing for war with Russia, as is Germany.  Now it might surprise you to know that Russia is busy with another country and France is at least 150 miles away.  There's really no reason for local hospitals to prepare for war and if France is stupid enough to send troops, they ain't coming back alive.

As we've seen at least since Vietnam, France expects its so-called allies to jump in to help.  NATO is for defense, if you want to attack a non-NATO member, you'll have to convince any other nations to get involved and that leaves you stuck with Europe.  Not a good move.  I assume France has different rules but once again, they haven't even bothered to officially declare war.  They just claim to want to get involved in fighting which they're no good at anyway.

Otherwise the only reason would be if the military is fighting people in its own country and who is there?  Ohhhhhh, riiight...  I don't mean the invaders, I mean actual French citizens.  They are not going to get involved in this war and if the elites try, there's going to be revolt.  Probably in a wussy way, this is France, but this is something the government needs to keep in mind.  Just watching what's happening across the Channel must make the French leaders worried.  Maybe we could see what would happen if Charles I and Louis XVI got together.

And this is why he should have gotten the hell out months ago.  Never mind his stupid promise to end it on 'day one,' this is not what he got votes to do.  You work for us, remember?  Russia and Ukraine aren't willing to quit fighting, that's their problem.

The problem does stretch over into the rest of Europe, so it's their problem too.  Germany is still going after whoever blew up the Nord Stream pipeline and has apparently identified all the Ukrainians involved.  Meanwhile Poland wants to criminalize a cult based on Stephan Bandera, a Ukrainian nazi supporter in WWII whose followers still honor him.  He had killed about a hundred thousand Poles so there's more to fight about.  And Hungary is still arguing with Zelensky for bombing their pipeline.  This is showing problems with NATO, given how many people are willing to support a non-member over fellow members.  That's a bad way to run an alliance.

Meanwhile European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was flying around, trying to stir up the war, and the GPS on her plane gets jammed somewhere near Bulgaria.  Of course she blames Russia.  Certainly possible, but that means they could have done other things to the plane as well.  She's certainly not a politician, no country voted for her, so they won't miss her when she's gone.  But she wants war so the elites will keep her around as long as they want.

The threat of war is really showing how little the EU has to work with when push comes to shove.  Von der Leyen hasn't had to face the voters since she was last elected to a German state parliament in 2003, but she's in charge now?  This is how leftism operates, like a non-governmental organization that gives orders to the actual government.  Trump does blame them for the war but whether or not he's right, just get out before your voters turn against you.

Russia keeps advancing, they're hitting Kiev with missiles and drones.  And the left has been obsessed with this for three-and-a-half years.  Is it all about funneling money or they just trying to make 1984 real with a war against Eurasia?

This news has been out for a few days but this guy is basically in the same situation as Joe Biden and they were both figureheads in trying to attack Trump.  No one has bothered to ask Biden anything, effectively admitting what most of us knew all these years.  But this lines up with John Bolton being hit for having classified info where it shouldn't be.  This is setting up the example of going after smaller figures so that they can go after bigger names who did the same thing.

Mueller isn't competent to testify to Congress but it's strange how none of the other people subpoenaed are getting any attention.  The Clintons are the ones we're waiting for, so of course they're held to late October, but even the left doesn't seem to have anything to say about this.  They can't all be kept ignorant about this, but then they'd be outraged, so what's their excuse?  Hillary had classified info too, will she be asked about that?

Of course the down side is that these are all old people who are in increasingly-bad health.  Bill Clinton has problems, so does Nancy Pelosi.  What are the odds that any of them is ever going to face an actual trial before they die?  What a coincidence that it takes so long to build up a legal action, good thing Trump wasted his first term not bothering with that.
