I haven't been to a movie theater since 2019 and haven't seen a movie I've never seen dozens of times before since 2020.  I rarely have the slightest temptation to see any movie and so far that's always gone nowhere.  I really liked the first trailer for this film and took it as a given this would end my streak.  My interest did go down with other trailers and figured I'd wait to hear what others have to say about it.

The basic concept sounded good and the trailer looked great, the Looney Toons believably interacting with the real world.  Parts of it came across as a modern *woke* movie against the evil corporations.  One good point was that at least some toons seemed to side with the corporation, Foghorn Leghorn specifically.  The trailer ends with Bugs showing up and this is what trailers should do, make you eager to see what happens next.

But there's still the worry that this whole thing is about promoting the *woke* agenda.  This is not helped by the fact that James Gunn was one of the screenwriters.  As I've said before, my experience with Gunn is limited to the Tromeo and Juliet trailer which did not interest me in seeing the movie.  His tweets about molesting children and the way Hollywood defends him for that isn't a plus.  His idiotic claim to have planned the Thanos storyline for the MCU doesn't help, I knew where it was going since the end scene of the first Avengers movie because I f*cking read Thanos Quest when it came out.  Then there's this cult-like promotion of him which seems to be funded by a major corporation.

I didn't decide not to see the movie, it's theoretically possible I still might.  The reviews I've heard are mixed although they seem to agree that it's not really enjoyable as a Looney Toons movie.  Kids don't care about suing corporations so the basics aren't there for them and the characters themselves have been pushed out of public consciousness.  Partially because they're old, partially because they don't fit in with the *woke* agenda although I can't be the only one who's wondered if Bugs Bunny wearing a dress was deliberately intended to send a different message.

I didn't even realize it was coming out this weekend, that's how fast I was at finding something else to focus on.  And it's not doing well, a little under $16 million domestically for the whole weekend.  The Supergirl movie made more than that on opening day.  It didn't come in at #1 on a single day, the new Spider-Man movie is still holding that spot after four weeks in theaters.  On Saturday it was #3, the six-week *woke* Odyssey came in at #2.  The actual box-office matters more than how high you score on the daily charts but this doesn't help.  The reports on international sales haven't come in yet, that might help.

Of course I'm making it into a conspiracy theory.  Gunn was hired by DC almost a year before this movie was shelved in November 2023.  The promotions for his recent works come off as cult-like behavior and I'm wondering if it was all deliberate.  He *bravely* convinces the studio to allow this release just as he's having all these wins in the DC Universe.  Or what if the real goal was to actually destroy the franchises?  What would they be doing differently?

Then there's the way A.I. will be along soon.  This will remove a lot of old Intellectual Properties because it'll be so easy to do not-quite-rip offs.  Would it really be that hard to write a six-minute skit of Trump Bunny facing Anti Fadd?  And by the way, I will break my record of not going to a theater when Transformers:  The Movie is finally restored to the world.

My first reaction is don't these people have people who would go through their social media and delete everything that might be offensive, or let the voters know what they really think?  That's the sort of thing you'd expect political figures to do as soon as they've started their careers.  Why do you have people if not for things like that?

Instead they wait until they're getting attention.  They finally realize that what they've openly said for years contradicts what they're telling the voters now.  They certainly can't point to any sudden turn-around they've had in their views that make them realize how wrong they were a few years ago.  They certainly can't point to how they've become more tolerant of Trump supporters or the rich people funding their campaigns.  It looks more like they're just saying what they're told to say, whether or not it matches what they said yesterday.

These three seem to be getting the most attention, Piker isn't even a politician but he's clearly connected to them.  The whole 'socialist Muslim' approach still doesn't make any sense but it does line up with the pretend-masculine Texas male like Talarico as Democrats thinking they're ready to impose their leftist regime on the world.  This has been happening since Obama, who set the standards for politicians hating America.

Dude, after all these years of war, haven't you learned yet that they're going to take time off?  If you wanted to deal with them, go on vacation with them.  Or has he reached his 'Yasser Arafat' phase where he's just going to stay in one place for the rest of his life?  I made that as a joke but thinking about it, we haven't heard much of him touring the world for a while.  Maybe he needs to pretend he cares about his people enough to be around them.

Either way, just because the elites are on vacation, their servants aren't.  You're still getting all the supplies and equipment they send in.  Maybe you should have gotten less media support for your imminent victory.  If the media was wrong to push you that way, with your help, what else are they wrong about?

That thing you could have done four years ago, you're finally getting around to it now?  They're bombing Kiev hard, ok, that's something, but they've been doing that for quite a while already.  Now even Ukraine says they're preparing a ground invasion of Kiev.  What a brilliant plan, all you have to do is move your troops from where they are over to Kiev, several hundred miles away.  If this is something you could have done in 2023, you have much bigger problems than Ukraine.  I swear, it's like I'm the only one doing any work for this relationship.

I'm also really not able to drop the notion that this is all a sham.  Maybe the war was real when it started but this is coming off like Putin and Zelensky had this planned all along.  They get the benefits of a permanent war, the EU and the US are tied in too deeply to quit.  Two countries meet the leftist dream of "population reduction" and there's lots of opportunity to launder money and steal military equipment.  It's a theory I made up but I'd like some actual evidence that I'm wrong about any of it.

In her podcast, which is apparently only listened to by people looking for evidence against her, she makes it clear that she really doesn't are about her kids.  She was able to hand them over to staff for most of their lives but just the small amount of time she had to put up with them was more-than-enough for her.  She wanted them gone.

This doesn't make her look good as an individual although maybe you can blame her race or gender.  Or just her elite status, she was willing to hand one of them over to Harvey Weinstein.  Secret Service would have had to investigate before the daughter got there so the Obamas were fully aware of Weinstein's interests and they were fine with that.  Funny how no one ever asks Michelle about that, the answer would not be good.

No idea if it's deliberate or not but this is clearly the leftist ideal to eliminate the concept of family.  The left ignores that when convenient as with illegal immigrant families being separated, but it's always been a central goal in every part of the movement, whether they admit it or not.  I've been going through my old posts on current events and am developing a theory that the Obamas were definitely one of the main aspects for this, as well as the 'socialist Muslim' movement and probably transgenders.

In 2010, the American Academy of Pediatrics decided to perform female genital mutilation if little girls wanted to cut off their clitoris.  Just look at who would want that and who has used it since.  The AAP is based right next to Chicago, deals with Washington DC and looking at most of their policies of the last few decades lines up with what the Obamas have always wanted.  Or Iran, depending on how you look at it.  So this was what really put the Obamas in place and helps explain Michelle and her children.  I assume she'll do a retreat and her kids will soon be on her podcast, it's not like they know any better.
