A couple names added but otherwise this news has been out for a week now.  The candidates have to pretend they aren't devout leftists and Harris has nothing to offer them.  But there are candidates who do want her and not just to cheat on their wives with.  There's probably more to it, she owes the DNC money and will do whatever they tell her.

I'm guessing that the candidates and whoever's in charge are rethinking their relationship to Harris.  It's probably different for each campaign but overall they don't see her as adding anything so why waste money?  Maybe there's some doners who want to see her in person but probably not that many.  The big names have already seen her and look how that worked out.  Beyond that, she's bringing nothing to the table that they can't get without her.

There's also some of the basics of competition.  If you can only win an election with her help then you don't look that good either.  And if she endorses you and you lose, how much blame does she get?  We saw that with all the rich and famous people endorsing her in 2024, you could say she was worthless without them or that they pushed voters away or they added nothing but at least got paid for it.  Those who are already planning to run in 2028 don't need that extra hassle.

She's short, skinny, self-mutilated.  She was hired for a few minutes of pretending to be an awesome Greek warrior for a character who wasn't even in the actual story.  She only got that job so the movie would qualify for Oscar nominations because that's what Hollywood does.  And somehow that hasn't worked out well for her, go figure.

Even worse, she's obviously surrounded by sycophants.  Nobody suggests she pretend to be a woman to get some roles.  Or use that white male privilege movie stars are always complaining about, see how that works.  Or just go enjoy that easy life in her mansion, poor people don't have that option.

But that is a bit unlikely.  There's always the reputation of these rich and famous movie stars but most of them aren't s rich as we think they are.  Moreover, Page was never a big star.  She's done some work in the last ten years but not a lot.  It might bring in enough for a comfortable living, at least if you live cheap, but she's enough of a star to have her people around.  They need to be paid.  Then there's all the drugs and medical care to keep up the pretense that she's not female, that costs money too.  She'll have to pay for that the rest of her life whether Hollywood hires her or not.

So she might be more desperate for money than you might expect.  The Oscars probably won't be for another year or so and even then, what roles will there be for a middle-aged white woman who insists she's male?  She's just repulsing the audience and Hollywood already has enough trouble with that these days.  Her people will just move on and find the next victim.  Her story isn't going to end happily.

How about "no"?  Is "no" a good option for you?  If they want to go vacation in Kiev and Moscow for an hour or a day or a week, that's their problem and it can be done on their expense.  Otherwise leave them out of it.  In fact, I would be fine with Trump making an executive order forbidding any US citizen to travel to Ukraine or Russia for any reason.  Just let them kill each other.

Of course Trump will never do that, he has some new big idea for peace that this time it's definitely going to work, not like all the other times.  Americans don't care about these two countries, they don't care how the war is going and that probably goes double for Trump supporters.  This is how you lose your credibility!

And the worst part is that Trump has to make a big deal in the first place.  He didn't have to say anything, just let it happen quietly and I wouldn't be here complaining about him.  Trump gets some benefits for not being an actual politician but this is one of the down-sides, stop making these f*cking announcements all the time!  We already know they're going to fail!  A real politician would have a bit more restraint but not this guy.

Haven't heard much about cryptocurrency for a while.  It was a big thing several years ago but I'm guessing there are too many problems.  There's no way to determine what it's worth, not in ways people can trust.  It's not based on gold, governments aren't backing it as currency.  More than ever, few countries will give up their own currency for something like this.  But it can be used for smuggling, especially globally.

I assume the Palestinians and Hamas have always been a convenient tool for this sort of laundering.  Israel is probably also involved, you can argue which side is participating more.  It does seem a bit strange that these "donations" aren't in the billions, instead it's barely half a million.  This is probably why the government is involved, otherwise isn't crypto supposed to not be affected by governments?  That's like its main selling point.

So we might see who the "donors" are and start looking into what they're up to.  Like everything else, *maybe* it'll go somewhere but this is pointless.  All these teases that something is being done and it's certainly fun to see the left's reactions but there needs to be actual victories.  Monday should be 90 days after Trump said the gas prices would be dropping in 90 days, anybody going to ask him about that?
