The internal conflict continues.  I still think the announcement a couple days ago was a deliberate attempt by Disney to get rid of her.  Just the massive universal response of being glad she was leaving should have been enough.  For rational people, it would have been, but then if there were any at Disney, they'd have fired her a long time ago.

Her contract expired last year, it's not clear why she's still around now, but she'll stay until the end of this year.  Even then, according to her, she'll stay around making movies.  She has nothing interesting to say about this, just the same thing she says about everything, regardless of how big of a failure it is.  She isn't asked about any of those failures.

Her comment about leaving being '100% her decision' stuck out for me though.  This indicates that she has some authority which is not part of normal business routine.  *THAT'S* why she hasn't been fired after all these failures.  The fans spent forty years wanting a Han Solo movie and it probably takes some work to make a total bomb out of a movie starring a white man, but she made it happen.

When asked about the chaos caused by the reaction to the announcement that she was leaving, she responds "There has never been any chaos because we know exactly what the plan is."  Normally I would assume that means she's part of a demon-worshipping cult who's goal was always to destroy everything Lucasfilm did.  But Kennedy doesn't strike me as making long-term plans, hence all the announcements for Star Wars movies she's made in the last decade that never went anywhere.  If she immediately retires tomorrow, she'll probably say that was always the plan.

Cracks are forming even at the highest levels.  A couple days ago, CNN’s Jake Tapper promoted his book about how Biden's senility was covered up by the people around Biden, not the media.  Sure, he went on record as telling his audience that Biden was in great shape, but that's just because he believed the lies he was told.  He actually dealt with Biden so he couldn't see any of that, it was the rest of us who never dealt with Biden in person that saw the obvious problems.

Now, White House aide and Jill's press secretary Michael LaRosa says they knew it and hid it from the public.  Whoever was actually in charge oversaw everything Biden did to make sure nothing could go wrong.  He actually does use the phrase "gaslighting."  They knew they were lying and went ahead with it for years.

So what's this about?  Obviously Biden's done, nobody cares what he says, but putting out differing perspectives now about this seems strange.  The media is blaming the Biden administration and LaRosa is taking the blame.  The media would have to be involved, but he's describing the White House staff being the ones who kept pushing this.  Even Biden didn't, he always loved going out to deal with media, but now he was held down.  Of course he wasn't capable of showing authority or making decisions on the matter, he just obeyed.

Trump, being Trump, has made sure to throw in the cocaine that was found in a White House locker in 2023, saying it belonged to Biden or Hunter.  If the latter, ok, we could expect that, but if Biden just took coke as a normal thing, that does suggest something else was going on backstage, for him and probably everybody he's worked with for decades.  More tiny hints that something about our elites is going to be exposed.

This is "phase one" which, as MCU fans know, will lead to the Avengers.  But they're being more dramatic about this, the Epstein files were a disaster.  The version I've heard, which I hope is true, is that the Southern District of New York defied the order to send in all the files.  They sent in documents that are limited and edited.  Since Bondi had promised a release, she basically had no other option but to give several right-wing internet reporters printed copies and leave it at that.

One reason I'd like to go with this narrative is because the SDNY has been causing other problems and it does represent the sort of problems we face with our elites.  As an example, the SDNY is defying the federal government to hide information of Jeffrey Epstein, they are also currently prosecuting P. Diddy.  One of the SDNY prosecuting Diddy is the daughter of James Comey, who used to run the SDNY.

Comey investigated Bill Clinton for the pardon of Marc Rich.  He had already been deputy counsel for the Senate committee investigating the Clintons for Whitewater.  As Deputy Attorney General, he made sure to weaken domestic surveillance and enhanced interrogation in those respective scandals.  Obama appointed him FBI director to spread what we now see as the *woke* agenda about how helpless blacks are and to investigate Hillary's use of an unsecure private scanner for classified documents.  He made sure to protect Anthony Weiner before the 2016 election and even wrote a public op-ed about how Russia was attacking the US.

I was surprised at how many political events Comey had been part of when I looked it up, I even left out a few of them because they weren't relevant.  And now his daughter is installed in his footsteps and covering for Epstein and P. Diddy, in the same legal district Trump came from, Southern New York, which has gone after him a time or two.

I don't know where this is going, but just the connection with Comey and the Clintons indicates that it could be bigger than Epstein or Diddy.  Or the government could just find them all innocent and move on.  But Bondi and Patel are at least presenting themselves as going after SDNY for this.  Not sure what they'll do or how much of it we'll get to see, but this may be why James Carville and other leftists have suddenly announced that the next few weeks will be crucial.

One way or another, this is going to get the Russia/Ukraine thing one step closer to an end.  Zelensky came in to sign the rare metal rights over to the US in return for keeping Ukraine around to fight Russia.  But they got into an argument.  It started off when Trump insulted Zelensky's outfit, because he dresses more like Fidel Castro, without the military.  I can't believe I'm criticizing someone for *not* wearing a suit, but if you're going to beg for money and weapons, wear what the people giving them to you want you to wear.

Haven't watched any of the video, but what transcripts I've seen, it looks like Trump and Vance were just putting it out that Zelensky had no hope without them so he'd better start acting decent.  My guess is they knew how Zelensky would react, so they weren't surprised that it didn't end well.  They point out Ukraine is out of men to fight this war, making demands like this and refusing to sign a cease fire is a bad idea and he came to the US last year to campaign for their opponent, so he should be a little nicer.

"We’re trying to solve a problem.  Don’t tell us what we’re going to feel because you’re in no position to dictate that."  I like that line.  I'm actually tempted to watch some of the video.  The deal for metals was not signed, Zelensky was kicked out and he's going to need to censor this video from Ukrainians or they might start asking if they can have an election.

The deal wasn't signed and Trump is now considering shutting off all military supplies to Ukraine.  Marco Rubio has already cut off US support for Ukraine's power grid, which USAID was giving them for some reason.  If you didn't want any part of the Russia/Ukraine thing, or if you just didn't support Ukraine, this is a lot of evidence why we shouldn't be involved.  If you do want to support Ukraine, this is an example of why you should get a gun and head out there, because they really need your help.

This may have been why Trump offered the metals deal, to bring Zelensky in.  It's certainly why he made sure the meeting was filmed live.  He gets to show off his negotiation ability, Zelensky shows how he's not capable of that, and there's no agreement to be made here.  We never saw Joe Biden or Kamala Harris doing things like this, wonder why.

It's a better form of resistance than protesting at the state capitols.  It's nice to see the left deciding they need to do something useful for a change, but what are the odds this will go anywhere?  As much as anything, I think they're just trying to keep their people united.  They can't just keep going to the capitol to protest, there needs to be some other options.

I will admit that it's a bit weird, I spent the last few years advocating a resistance like this.  I said repeatedly that we needed to go on strike and am not fully comfortable with how easily I stopped doing that last November.  The war's not over, we're still in for major problems, why am I not pushing for more organized units that don't have to rely on a functioning society?

Just take it as a given that Trump's not going to save the world.  He'd probably be the first to agree that we can't just rely on him to fix everything.  Even if Vance turns out to be awesome and goes on to win the next two elections, we'll still have lots of problems.  Look at what the left is doing now and try to think of ways that it could be done that's actually useful and helpful.  Trump has brought in a sense of ease and comfort, but we can't rely on that, even if it actually is permanent.

Here's an odd thought about cartoon history.  Max Fleischer invented the rotoscope which helped animation on a realistic human form.  His brother Dave would be the model for their first cartoon in 1918.  Their character was used repeatedly and was eventually named Koko the Clown.  This was a landmark of early cartoons and led to the Fleischer studio.

In 1924, Koko was given a pet dog, Fitz.  In 1929, legal issues with their distributor, Red Seal Pictures, led to Koko being placed on hold.  They renamed Fitz "Bimbo" and continued using him in Talkartoons.  After several cartoons, Bimbo chased a female dog who was more-or-less in human form in 1930.  She quickly became more popular than Bimbo and was made full human, with the name "Betty Boop."

The Betty everybody loves was only there for a few years, before the Hayes Code on production took away the "boop-oop a-doop" that made her interesting.  But before that happened, she met Popeye the Sailor in 1933.  I can't think of any previous creative examples of one IP leading to another IP and then another.  Koko was overcome by Bimbo who was secondary to Betty who was taking by Popeye and became more popular after one cartoon with this dame.

But that wasn't even Popeye's first conquest.  He was immediately popular with his first appearance in Thimble Theater in 1929, which was why he had been moved to animation so quickly.  But Thimble Theater had been around since 1919, featuring the adventures of Ham Gravy, his friend Castor Oyl and Castor's sister Olive.  Elzie Segar had started this out as single-strip jokes but moved into long-running adventures, such as where Castor and Ham wanted to go to a gambling island so they needed a sailor to get them there.

So in both animation and comics, the established IPs introduced their successor.  In both of these cases, it was the same successor, Popeye.  And in basically all of these cases, the work is past-tense and is public domain.  Technically there are owners of Popeye and Betty Boop but they're really just merchandising and it looks if they have sole ownership rights to that.  The Fleischer Studio is long gone, although descendants have established another one which is also basically about merchandising.

This might be a bit simplistic, but essentially their popularity led to their replacements and eventually their own demise.  Now they're gone and forgotten.

He runs a store that sells tactical gear, not the sort of thing you'd expect for a lunatic like this.  This is yet-another example of leftist lunacy, making people so deranged that they really think this needs to happen.  I'm sure their masters are hoping to use this as an excuse to ban guns, but there's being prepared for danger and trying to cause the danger.  Notice how these people all aspire to create victims to blame.

What's really weird is that this guy was from a small town where this sort of thing is just supposed to be completely unknown.  And this particular town, Clarksville, Indiana, is one I have a bit of personal connection with, mostly because of its historical relevance.  This was Forward Operating Base, USA, the first town founded outside the US border in the growing little country.  You cross the river from Louisville, you're outside the country.

The names are coincidental, but Louisville and Clarksville are where Lewis and Clark started their journey, unofficially.  They met here, then went up the river to Missouri where they officially began.  Clarksville was founded by Clark's brother, a veteran of the Revolutionary War.  And this is the place where a gun-nut openly wants to kill people, and he's a leftist?  *This* is what the elites are trying to push us into.

One of Trump's attorneys says there will be criminal charges filed for this.  She does not say why these charges weren't filed five years ago.  What next, we can't do anything because the post office hasn't delivered them yet?  Or maybe the real information is hidden in Al Capone's vault so we just need to dig in there.

I am trying to look for good reasons it could be done this way.  There's making sure all the victim's identities are hidden, like they didn't have years to take care of that.  There's the idea that they're trying to sucker in the elites somehow, like a teaser and trailer to promote an upcoming blockbuster movie.  And that's about it for any possibility I can think of that this isn't being staged and all the real info has already been removed.  Haven't heard anything about JFK/RFK/MLK either, no one's even thinking of those anymore.

Ok.  Nice to hear.  So what?  This is something I was never high-ranking enough to be remotely interested in, why do they need to have these meetings in the first place?  After the veep, House Speaker and Senate pro temp, they're next in line for the presidency, so there are valid reasons to get together on occasion, I'm just not a fan of meetings.

They talked about border security, inflation and spending cuts.  That's nice and all but I don't get why they'd need to talk about this.  Wouldn't they already know the basics and be able to look up specific details if they needed to?  No word on if they talked about Epstein or P. Diddy's lists or the various assassinations.  Just gives the impression that anything useful has already been destroyed, with no clue when or by whom.

Maybe I'm just looking for reasons to complain, but currently the only specific benefit is the daily deterioration of the left.  I will admit the first month was just a constant improvement over the previous four years, so I may be coming off as a whiner now, but it is what it is.  There's no way to confirm, but I have to admit to being a bit worried about the executive branch firings, if they're even real.

Judges keep saying he can't do that, or it's reported that at least some can keep their jobs or be re-hired.  Not saying I trust that, but I can't say I fully trust Trump either.  If nothing else, you'd think the fired employees would have a lot of free time to go out and protest something, but we aren't hearing from them.  I doubt they've all signed up for classes to learn to code.

This appears to be a deliberate part of the plan.  Might be connected to Trump's cabinet meeting, but otherwise this must be intentional.  The Biden-appointee orders Trump to start giving money to foreigners without hesitation, Trump filed an appeal and an hour later, John Roberts had intervened.

To the extent I understand this, Roberts' point was that the lower-ranking judge had just thrown in the deadline for no reason.  Trump must start paying foreign contracts by midnight, *or else!!!*  He also added a deadline to any appeal, it must be done by Friday.  Pretty sure he has more justified authority to impose a deadline on the court than the lower court does to give orders like this.

No clue how it works, but I would absolutely expect Trump to have run this stuff past the Supremes already.  There has to be limitations to being able to work out a verdict before there's a case - 'hey John, how would you rule if we appealed this?' - but there must also be back-and-forth between the branches, especially at the highest level.  Trump+ had to have worked out as many options in advance as possible, and to the extent they can interact with the Supremes, they must have gotten their opinions.

This isn't even remotely a permanent victory.  It does work as precedent so lower courts will have to be a bit more careful on giving their own 'executive orders' which overrule the POTUS.  It also puts the Supreme Court in line to make this a permanent decision, effectively the same effect on the judiciary that the last month has had on the executive branch.

If I'm correct, we've been waiting for something like this, something which can start moving things in the right direction.  It might be interesting for those judicial scholars to look into how far back this goes in court history, both in US history and precedents.  It might also not be interesting because very few people are interested in these details.  It's like quoting Shakespeare's "kill all the lawyers" while ignoring that this line is about overthrowing the government.  Or the Book of Genesis, "shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"

I've been mocking this delay, partially because it deserves mockery, but I must admit there might be a point.  All of a sudden a lot of people are making noise about how this information hasn't been put out yet.  One thing most people don't understand, including myself, is how the higher-ups maintain control of the masses.  As far as we know, nobody's is telling all of us to suddenly demand this info be put out yesterday, yet we're doing just that.  So either someone *is* telling us that or there are other methods to manipulate the public, which the Trump administration knows how to do.

I assume it's the latter, that each of us has our own views which may or may not have influence us.  Those who are successful at being in charge know how to use that, and most of them are probably leftists.  There's always been 'movements' trying to impose what they self-identify as 'advancement' for humanity, and they've put a lot of work into figuring out how to do this.

Epstein was a "transhumanist," there's been other attempts for the last few centuries.  Those people have probably been aimed at mass media ever since it was invented, radio, movies, tv, internet and probably A.I.  They also have a lot of old rich families involved, with whatever cult views they can come up with.  The point is that the Trump administration has to make its way through that as well as opposing standard leftism of the day.

So like it or not, there are (probably) valid reasons why there's been such a delay.  But by the same token, there's also problems with it.  We have no reason to trust whatever gets released.  We have every reason to assume nothing will be done about it.  Epstein's child molesting started being investigated in March 2005, almost exactly 20 years ago.  Yet nothing's been done about it sense, except to Epstein personally, with no clue that it'll ever go beyond that.

But this is where his attention is going.  I'm not sure I've ever heard him speak, but his voice on the ad didn't stir much interest.  And just the opening line, "we need to change the conversation."  Sounds like he doesn't like the conversation as it's going so he, not "we" wants it to go his way.  It just comes off like someone who's planners came up with this.

He claims he'll be talking with leaders of the MAGA movement, will that include Trump?  That would probably get some decent ratings and we know Trump can do long interviews anywhere.  Or maybe he'll try to get an interview with Biden and Harris.  That would probably get decent ratings but for a completely different reason, to make fun of how out-of-touch they are.  Otherwise I assume this program will go for a little while, then he'll quit because it's not getting him any attention.  Or iHeart will cancel it because it's too expensive, since he's not just doing it himself.

Baldwin actually does a good job of keeping to himself for the first minute or so, then he suddenly turns and snaps “Look at me. Most people would get in trouble for saying they'd kill someone and the only thing that prevents them is being on camera at the moment.  But Baldwin has already said on camera that he wants to know what it's like to shoot someone to death, and then he was on camera shooting someone to death, and he totally got away with it.  So it's safe to assume he knows what it's like to break people's necks, when he thinks the camera isn't on him.

Partially it's just Baldwin being himself because he knows he's special, but there's a number of other stories in the last couple days of celebrities and media suddenly being more ridiculous than usual.  I'll hold off on specifications until I decide how much coverage I really want to give, but I got the impression that this is what James Carville was really covering with his insistence that Republicans would be totally defeated in the next 30 days.

It's like the most insane members of the elites, the ones who've really believed this stuff, are close to a total breakdown.  The heckler - decent delivery but didn't remotely sound like Trump - was talking about the unknown peasant Baldwin had killed, I would assume that happens fairly often.  He could no longer hold back and really wanted to add to his bodycount.  A man's life was spared only because Baldwin knew he was on camera.

The party is already losing USAID, now the big donors are staying away.  As leftists, they probably have no clue what to do without government and rich people handling everything.  Can't get money from Nancy Pelosi, she needs it, so who else is there?  Maybe they could get more money from poor people by telling them how racist they are and how they need to pay for transgender surgery.

It's possible these people are just fat and lazy, that's why they'd never noticed the way the party was going all this time, but that doesn't explain how they became big donors if that was the case.  How did they get so rich on their own if they're that clueless, and how would USAID and similar money sources make them this rich otherwise?  Something about this just seems to be off.

Is this the point Omar is making, broken clock right twice a day and all that?  She'd probably have more information about who's on the list, or at least likely suspects.  Or is this just a sensible attack to make against political enemies?  Probably not the latter, because I doubt she'd want it brought out how many leftists were with Epstein.  I'm sure they want everyone to think Trump was one of them and who knows, maybe he was.  Notice they never criticize Biden for not releasing any of it.

But there's no mention that 'steps need to be taken first.'  At this point, I'm not sure that would work.  They probably wouldn't need to give full detail on how declassification works, but they're just giving everybody reasons to not believe the results and to make it look like everybody from Trump on down is obeying whoever's really responsible.  This may be the point Omar is making, that Trump has indeed caved in.

At best they'll save a bit of money by firing the expensive talentless who will make an attempt to do something elsewhere and learn that their audience wasn't real.  They weren't fans, they won't follow them to youtube or wherever they go.  But that still leaves the networks with nothing to build on.

I still get the impression that these people have just never grown up.  They've never learned any barriers or restraint.  It's quite possible they were molested, and this has just ran down through the generations.  The development of things like the internet would massively increase this, at least in their own minds.  But this is the sort of thing that should be looked at *before* becoming well-paid NSA employees, yet nobody bothered to do that.

How much of this is DOGE going to find?  Are they focused on financial issues or are they able to look through *everything*?  I would guess the latter, and A.I. is probably very helpful for that, but I'd also assume that there are places they wouldn't have access to.  It just sounds like basic security, even the POTUS wouldn't be able to get into everything, at least not just by pushing a button or giving an order.  If he's been hacked or someone has worked out an imposter, there would be a reason to delay him and give security the chance to figure that out first.

That's why I think they need to put out as much stuff as possible immediately.  Some stuff might need to stay secret for a while, I get that, and I'm sure they can come up with a schedule for release to have the most impactful reaction, but the left is motivated to ignore the truth anyway.  They certainly know how to accuse the Trump administration of lying, so what does it matter?  And perverts like this need to be exposed.

Anyway, the peace talks in Saudi Arabia were basically about setting up more peace talks, to establish embassies, set up teams to negotiate and work to come to an agreement as quickly as possible.  It's also - can't believe I'm saying this - about trying to get Russia away from China, similar to Nixon's attempt in 1972.

The idea is fine but there's no reason to think it would have the slightest chance of success.  China knows how to maintain dominance over its servants and whatever BRICS authority Russia may have, it's not as much as China.  Second of all, it's Russia!  Would you really trust them to say they're moving away from China?  For that matter, would you really trust any Americans to recognize the deception?  Peace, yes.  Trying to get Russia on our side, don't waste your time.  At best, work out how it might be used to stop China.

Sending men out to die for some other country rarely works and it requires a massive amount of nationalism, which the left has always opposed.  The people who want war with Russia aren't volunteering to go fight on the front lines, they'll leave that to others.  The left always imposes this on their servants and this is why it always fails.

We can see that with the last few months of Democrats whining how Trump voters need to suffer.  None of them notice that leftists are supposed to pretend to care about *everybody,* not just those who vote for their side.  This gets awkward when the Trump voters are the majority, leaving liberals with little to do.  Unless they want to go to the gun range or something, work on the garden.  Whining on the internet won't do.

Was the point of this Russia/Ukraine thing to eliminate the concept of a nation, at least on the side that expected to be winning?  I don't have a clue how that would work but it actually sounds like a coherent explanation.  So now Trump, the winner, has to negotiate for the loser (the US) on behalf of Ukraine, against Russia, the other winner.  This isn't how a war is supposed to work.  The casualties are about the only similarities this has to a real war.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.  Assuming the courts still work - which is very iffy - the POTUS has the authority to protect the borders and get rid of enemies, foreign and domestic.  Trump can point to all the laws, regulations and precedents to justify it.  The work still has to be done but getting to that point shouldn't be too hard.

So what will the governors do about it?  They do have some authority for their respective states, but there's the question of challenging the federal government.  There's also the fact that a lot of their citizens don't want the invaders either, so there's internal conflict for them too.  They can ally with fellow leftists, but most of these states don't border each other, so it will be hard to set up any sort of union.  How would the slave traffickers get from one state to the next?

My best guess is that they'll be defeated.  There's simply not enough to fall back on and that would be that.  But it's a valid question how long it would take to get that far, even assuming the courts do the right thing?  Then there's the fact that they're leftists, they won't accept reality, much less a loss.  But Bondi's comment does indicate that the administration has preparations made.  Anything can go wrong, but we'll see.

Zelensky had refused to sign the deal, just like Canada and Mexico wouldn't secure the borders despite the tariffs.  And the left was so proud that they were standing against Trump.  Then reality showed up and the left looked for something else to whine about.  Essentially they're being left behind.

The rare metals are important, I get that, but otherwise I hadn't seen much point in Trump demanding them.  But now it occurs to me that this might be a real solution.  We'd need someone to watch over our property on a war zone and Trump runs the military, he could drop some of them in to secure the region.

Tell Russia and Ukraine not to try anything unless they want the US to shoot back at them.  Ukraine would obey, they have no reason to start shooting at US troops.  Russia might be a little worried, suddenly they'd have more incentive to look for a peace deal.  And the US troops get to protect US property, sounds like a win-win-win.

There's some potential objections to this, the US just grabbing part of Russia Ukraine to use for ourselves.  Congress might need to be involved.  This is Ukraine so there'd be money laundering involved.  But this is a place to start.  It's not like Europe has anything to offer, so they won't help.  Zelensky had better hope there's no elections or he might lose his job.  They'll also need a lot more abortion clinics if US soldiers are allowed to be there.

Anyway, this may not go the way I describe, but I suspect it'll be similar.  Like it or not, we probably already have US troops on the ground.  We had 'em before Trump and we probably have them now.  At least this wouldn't be to keep the war going.  Not sure it's a great idea but it's better than we've had for the last few years.

Just wasted some time with Meta AI, the artificial intelligence program that's supposed to help our creativity.  My goal was to actually recreate some of my comics and see how that worked.

Well, it didn't.  This program is not capable of copying existing art, nor of creating anything specific.  It might be able to do some images that are reasonably close to what you request, but any thought you've put into expressing an idea is completely wasted.  I tried to reproduce one of my comic strips that I'd made on Microsoft Paint and one page of a comic book I drew a long time ago.  The program could describe the art with a surprising amount of detail, but it could not copy it, much less change the styles.

It was very strange.  The program clearly knew what it was looking at and could describe the work in some detail, even down to mentioning pencils I hadn't fully erased on the comic page.  Yet it's not capable of redoing the image?  I asked why it was capable of remaking music in a different format and it answered that audio was just a different medium.  It works differently.  By the way, A.I. comes disturbingly close to making coherent believable conversations.  It won't be long before you'll think you're talking to a real person, or at least realize that there's no noticeable difference.

One thing that did work was when I threw in a random idea for an image, just to see how it would work.  Sidney Sweeney, in t-shirt and jeans, in an alleyway, as a blonde, done as a Marc Silvestri comics page.  [Note to Marvel, I have an idea who you should get to play Dazzler.]  It threw out a much of possible images, some of which don't look much like Sweeney, but they come surprisingly close to working.  Not sure how close they are to Silvestri's actual work but the best of these was certainly passable.

But so far, I cannot find an A.I. that is usable for work like this.  At some point I assume it will but for the time being, it's worse than useless.  Just doing this much took up so much time that I've barely done any writing tonight.

The building was constructed 2003-7, it was named after Nancy in a 2023 omnibus bill.  Uh...  I have a question, what does renaming a building have to do with spending?  Did Nancy push it because of self-absorption or was someone else sucking up to her because of that self absorption?  'If this building isn't renamed after her, we can't fund Guam and transgender comic books and such!'

It's San Francisco, so we might as well assume the building is being used for criminal activities.  That's just an obvious guess when we're talking about leftists and their icons.  I guess we'll have to wait until Nancy says something about it.  That must suck, her name was supposed to be there permanently and now it's gone.  Life's a lot like that.  But maybe she can sponsor a bill in Congress to get it back, see how many will support that.

I doubt it's about being worried.  Face it, Diddy is the one who could be executed to keep him quiet, the lawyer would be collateral damage at most, and he probably knew that going in to the case.  Maybe someone will offer him several million dollars to spill his guts.  *If* we ever get the details, I do assume they'll be revealed before Diddy's case actually gets started.  Even if it's not official, someone could be putting them out anyway.

I'm also wondering what the left's reaction will be when/if the facts come out.  No matter what, they won't believe it, especially if there are any details that make them look bad.  I guess it'll come down to whether or not there's anything relevant.  Bondi says she hasn't seen any major scandals in the files so far, but she'd have say something like that no matter what.  We're all in waiting to see if anything will happen.

He says her state will not get any federal funding and is specific that there will be none.  She says she'll sue over this, like he's never had to deal with that before.  She's going to have to deal with people in Maine whose budgets depend on federal financing.  What's she going to do, say she's not interested in that, it's all about promoting transgenders?

This shows how lost Democrats are these days.  The vast majority of people don't want this but those in charge will impose it anyway.  They have such a high opinion of themselves that they can't listen to anyone else and certainly aren't going to notice the damage they're causing their own side.  There's speculation that within a year or so, this transgender madness will be past-tense, just because even the left won't be able to stand by it.  They'll have to do everything they can to pretend it never happened.

They may try, but (God willing) they're still going to be reminded of that.  And the virus tyranny.  And demanding war with Russia.  And the enormous waste of taxpayer money.  And every other sort of leftist propaganda.  There won't be very many who supported some pieces but opposed others.  They're all in on the whole thing, whether they admit it or not.

We may see how many leftist leaders actually pay attention to their own budgets and funding.  DOGE is clearly going after everything, so it might be a shock when state and local governments start begging their Democrat leadership for help.  They're going to suddenly need to impose a lot of new taxes to avoid going broke, unless they cut spending.  Sooner or later we all need to learn that lesson, even leftists.

Haven't heard about the L.A. fires for a while.  Under normal circumstances, you'd assume they were out by now but, well, this is L.A.  All we do know is that nobody wants to cover it, or anything about about that city either.  They probably need to make sure that every single one of the fires that started around the same time and couldn't be put out for weeks was a total accident.

The black female mayor is still having problems though.  A couple of days ago she started an investigation into why she was allowed to leave the city and go to Ghana when the fires started.  Because she wanted to?  Because she had a scheduled trip?  Because she's not responsible for anything?

These people aren't that interesting, so it's not clear what they're doing or why, but it's obvious the mayor is desperate to save herself and will turn on anyone.  One might have to worry if the Fire Chief will reveal any secrets for revenge, but she was hired for DEI so she may not be competent enough to get any secrets.  That's what happens when you lower the standards.

It does seem like more rich and famous people might be drawn in to this conflict, although they don't have any obvious connections.  Nothing peons like us would be aware of anyway.  It does look like California in general is sinking much faster these days.  By the nature of leftism, they all act like crabs trapped in a bucket, grabbing each other to keep anyone else from escaping.

What's the word for supporting other countries against your own?  Are members of Congress allowed to do that?  I'm sure she's not going to be remotely punished for this, but it is showing how the left is increasingly desperate to destroy this country now, no matter how much they need to defy reality to do it.

She's been getting publicity lately, like the rest of AOC's gang.  She also says Trump won because Americans are uneducated.  So that would be the Democrats running the school system for decades, but for some reason she's not smart enough to think of that.

Just a guess, but she might be getting this attention because AOC and (blanking on her name, the Somali) have probably been told to be quiet, after recent statements about supporting illegals over Americans.  These chicks probably can't qualify as traitors because they aren't American in any real sense.  They're enemies, foreign and domestic.  With nobody else in the party, they're trying to get as much attention as possible.

This is one of those instances where I don't think there's a deep plan.  Men can form organizations with structure and ranks.  Women are more likely to just form their own groups and tear at each other.  Since leftism is damaged, AOC's gang might as well try their best, maybe they'll get lucky.  But they're also providing plenty of evidence that they aren't competent or trustworthy.  I would assume Trump and his staff have prepared for this.

Haven't been following if Hamas has actually been returning hostages, but they must be getting around to those who are already dead.  In this case, a woman and her two children, who were four years and seven months when they became hostages.  It's not known how long they've been dead, but Hamas says Israel killed them in some bombing.

So that means the philistines are grateful for the bombings as it gave them the chance to see these young corpses.  It's not something you'd just shrug about and say it happens in war.  You go to the street these corpses are displayed on and applaud.  This is why Hamas gets elected by large majorities by people who are supposed to be dead from the genocide.

Could this be the real point of the latest war against Israel?  A year and a half ago, as leftist media praised how peaceful the Middle East was and Democrats condemned Israel, these hostages were taken.  Since then we've seen a massive shift in views, we see those who are standing for civilization and those who stand for Hamas and Palestine.

At the very least, there would be 'let them handle it themselves.'  But this will promote the viewpoint 'why hasn't Israel just erased these people permanently?'  If you're going to put an end to some of these leftist support mechanisms, that's a good place to start.

And just a note, it might have deeper effects.  The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia responded "What we saw today in Gaza is a disgrace to Islam, an act of blasphemy against Allah."  Not every Muslim will agree with him to be sure, but they will have to think about this.  They all look towards Mecca so whoever's in charge needs to be taken seriously.

They're trying to get Trump but face it, if they suddenly turned on the rest of us, none of them would have any hesitation.  That's what we're watching happen right now.  I'm sure some of them are trying to put together some sort of resistance movement but they obviously won't get very far unless some wealthy puppetmaster is giving them the orders.  I'll assume this will happen sooner or later, but until then they're just going to be doing stuff like this.

Ok, so what are you going to do about it?  At this point, I'm skeptical of Indians in general, just because there seem to be so many of them in positions of power outside India.  Why not bring back Nikki Haley while you're at it?  Anyway, I'll try to be optimistic, but what will this mean?

I do know Patel was working against the FBI as they went after Trump and Carter Page, so that's something to expose.  I'd like to think that a number of documents are waiting his signature to declassify important documents, such as the JFK/RFK/MLK files.  It's been almost a month since Trump issued an order to make those public, still waiting.

One thing that will be harder for him to do or more difficult for us to understand is to expose what the FBI has been up to all these years.  There's the natural bureaucracy, although Trump and his staff have done fairly well against them so far.  But the FBI has had at least a month to prepare and they do know how to lie and put on disguises.  For that reason, I would be uncertain about anybody Trump picked for this position.  How do you know if they're doing the right thing or serving the 'deep state'?

The down side is even if Patel and Trump are doing the right thing, we probably won't know most of it.  That's just the nature of the job and as much as we want them to release tons of information, they can't release everything.  They're also conflicting people with a lot of options and identities.  It's the sort of thing that may be in history books decades from now, but we'll die never knowing what's really going on.  Feel free to prove me wrong on this by the way.

I am getting more used to predicting a failure on Disney movies.  There's still a part of me that is too distant from the movie industry, it just seem wrong to assume few people want to see this crap.  That said, I've had a pretty good track record, but given what we're talking about, it's fairly clear.  Disney product are almost completely failure, especially in the biggest franchises they own.

This movie is nearing the end of its first week and has fallen $20 million behind where Ant-Man 3 was at this point.  By contrast, Deadpool 3 had made more money in the first three days domestically [and I am still shocked to live in a world where anybody has heard of Deadpool, much less has any interest in him.]  Disney is poisoning its own corporate IPs and anything they could have used other characters for, all to promote the *woke* agenda.

At this point I'd have to assume the investors and anybody else with authority are all in on this.  Otherwise they'd be screaming to turn the ship around before it hits the iceberg, or at least making a desperate escape before it's too late.  But there's no noise from that side, nobody saying they should do a Captain America movie that represents America.  But they'd need a new lead actor for that, so that's what you're going to get.

It's also interesting how this movie is described as effectively being a sequel to the 2008 Hulk movie, using characters and villains from that.  This lines up with comments that the Falcon's costume is based on Ant-Man, Black Panther, Cap's shield and I think a few other things, and the storyline is based on a Celestial last seen in the 2021 Eternals failure.  I recall some Disney executive saying there would be no Eternals sequel but they would use the storyline elsewhere.  They're trying to tie together continuity, pasting together pieces of other movies and characters and all they can get is a mess from that.

This is one of the damaging aspects of massive corporate IPs.  It's bad enough that movies require hundreds of people to make even the crappiest products, but they're tied down to other IPs, ruining anything that could be done with this particular release.  You could just take whatever details you like of this version, rename them and make a film about USAngel fighting Orange Man, that movie would probably have a better chance of success than this one.  But then you wouldn't get the expensive Marvel logo, so...

Somebody is getting desperate.  I'm guessing that, however far the peace talks have progressed, Russia and the US are agreed on Zelensky.  Just the fact that he has enough free time and money to spend on this shows that he doesn't have anything important going on these days.

It's not like he has to worry about elections.  He also doesn't need to answer any questions, like where the hundreds of millions of unaccounted-for money went.  How would he know?  Joe Biden just kept sending in tons of money, wasn't his business to keep track of anything.  At this point I'm guessing that Zelensky doesn't have access to Ukraine's laundering process, or even a list of those who take part in it.  If he did, he'd be calling them constantly, threatening to make this public unless they silence Trump.

We can see this problem with Europe, they just had a summit to discuss the war.  It might still be going on now for all we know, it's not like they can do anything.  They even have some advantages, I'm sure these leaders have a clue who to blackmail, but the results remain the same.  They want all the benefits of a war without actually doing the work.  It always fails, which is why Europe spent centuries learning how to fight a war and avoid losing, which they've completely forgotten now.  No wonder Trump doesn't want much to do with them.

I like the idea in theory, I'd certainly like to get $5000 of my money back.  There's a few limitations, that it would only be open to those who have proof they're paying taxes and it wouldn't be done this year, it would be for 2026 when DOGE is supposed to close down.  So it sounds good and is quite appealing.

But it does sorta come off as a bribe, even though I think it's a good thing.  As I've said before, GWB's tax refund really helped me, the initial paycheck and the tax cut going from almost being able to pay one month's rent to being able to pay two months and still order a pizza.  Twenty years later, I've yet to find any leftist praise helping poor people like that, they're only obsessed with the rich.  So I'm not putting down this 'dividend payment' for any objection to the concept.

My problem is that it does look like it's paying people off to go along with them.  You can say it's giving us our own money back, but it's the government.  As far as they're concerned, it's a gift to us, even if it comes from Trump.  There's also the enormous other bills that need to be paid off.

Gotta admit, my vote would probably go for using this money to pay off the fricking debt.  Lowering our taxes overall would be the benefit we deserve, more than writing a one-time check.  I won't turn down the check, just putting in my two cents.  Anyway, we'll have to see what Congress is going to do about this.

Strange how this guy is only now speaking out in public and only to attack Trump.  I'm sure I said nice things about him four to eight years ago, but you don't find very many Veeps who have anything to say after they leave office.  Pence proved in the primaries he has no chance of continuing that career and has only sided with the left ever since.  One of the most successful members of the uniparty, but it's time we made them all past-tense.

He doesn't have anything to say about the unsecure borders.  He doesn't mention all the waste and fraud in government spending.  Even regarding Ukraine, he has no complaints about the hundreds of millions of dollars being unaccounted for.  It's like non-American non-taxpayers getting the money is more important to him than keeping track of any of it.  How does that work?

It would be interesting to know if ex-Veeps have any particular status.  They probably have more access to classified info than you or I might, but do they have any particular legal standing.  I ask because at some point Trump is going to be going up against the domestic enemy, i.e. the uniparty, and Pence will obviously stand out for that.  He was also a state governor and a member of Congress, so he's have a lot of connections.

He's also making more public statements than Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer or any of the other senior Democrat leaders.  Or Obama, Bill and Hillary, Joe Biden, etc.  Pence isn't even speaking out that much, but where are the others?  Well, they know what's coming, that's probably why they're hiding.

DOGE keeps moving.  You'd think the IRS would be getting more attention, just because it's the IRS.  Or maybe everybody is just too shocked by what they've gotten done in the last (checks calendar) month.  Woah.  Mind.  Totally.  Blown.

This might be where Musk got the notion of giving everybody a $5,000 refund, after seeing the basic info they found.  Trump is already putting out an executive order banning federal tax benefits to all illegal immigrants.  Wouldn't surprise me if a similar EO had followed every department being checked out, i.e. no military benefits, no housing benefits, nothing that's not in a law passed by Congress or the Constitution itself.

Of course leftists are freaking that this one DOGE software engineer is going through IRS files to find fraud, waste and abuse.  Files show that Biden gave almost a thousand unelected officials that access but nobody cares about that.  Despite all the places in society we're required to use our social security number or other similar info, somehow this is a horrifying experience for the left.

I think this is one of those things that shows the limitations of atheism.  God knows our social security number too.  If He wants to do something with it, it's going to happen, just accept it.  I think this also extends to the notion of the government watching over us.  Believers take it as a given that we're watched every second of every day.  It doesn't mean we support others who aren't God doing this, but it changes our perspective of what's being done and how we should react.

Not all that different from installing digital files in our body.  You don't think that can be used by the government or hacked?  A couple years ago, the left was in favor of that.  The only thing that's changed is that they're not the ones in charge of it.  That's not how you decide whether an idea is good or bad.  They're fine with having access to all our private info, they just don't want it reciprocated.
