The question isn't 'why' but rather, 'why not to cay?'

□ [“White House Says It Has 'No Timeline' for Releasing Epstein Files"]

So everybody listed on them is safe.  They're in no danger of being punished or harassed by law enforcement.  Since you're being so nice and keeping their secrets for them, they can find some new place to do the things they did with Epstein.  Who's going to stop them, you?  Not likely, otherwise you'd mention doing something to stop them at some point.

I really am trying to be optimistic, that these things go much deeper than anyone could expect so there's an actual reason they keep this secret.  But there's absolutely no reason not to criticize them for this every chance we get.  What's wrong, don't even have the decency to admit they won't do a damned thing about all of Epstein's associates?  Or P. Diddy?

If any releases ever do come out, they have to know that no one will trust them, precisely because this has been going on for so many years.  We're getting close to the sixth anniversary of Epstein's arrest and death.  Who was POTUS when that happened?  Makes you wonder what Trump would do if he was really on Epstein's side but wanted to hide that from the public?

□ [“U.S. Government Built a $21 Trillion Underground City for the Wealthy and Powerful If a 'Near-Extinction Event' Occurs"]

How would they know this will survive a "near-extinction event"?  And for that matter, how would they be able to build this and keep it secret?  The person reporting this - assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development for Housing in 1989-90 - is vague.  She refers to numerous underground structures, roughly 170, but many/most of those would be known.  I think.  There's more than just one city for rich people.

Something like this probably exists, it might even be where all those trillions of dollars went, but it just strikes me as a sham to make the rich people think they'll be safe.  If they're stupid enough to think this is a good idea, they wouldn't be worth surviving a "near-extinction event."  Why wouldn't they commit suicide in a week anyway?  Or their servants who'd have to put up with them and wouldn't have any way to escape?

I haven't read enough H.G. Wells or other 'futurists' to figure out what they were doing, but things like this just strike me as directly inspired by the Morlocks.  You've got leftism, elites, guaranteed disaster in the near-future, this would be a natural way to prepare.

□ [“NY Attorney General Letitia James Sues Trump Again as Her Legal Troubles Pile Up"]

As always, there's no sense this is ever going anywhere.  Isn't it a tactic for one or both sides to keep filing new lawsuits at the other?  Not sure what it does but it must do something because why else do it?  Well, I suppose you have to prove you won't waste any more time delaying whatever real or imaginary legal complaints you have.  Her lawsuits are about various types of government funding.

She's being hit for various forms of mortgage fraud for her properties.  Unless she's renting to illegals or traffickers or something like that, at this point it doesn't look like this will go anywhere either.  Some of us are tired of not-winning.  It doesn't matter how you succeed in private if all we see is just time being wasted or for very temporary effects.  This chick isn't the only judge out there like this, what are you doing about the rest of them?

You have to wonder if the uniparty and 'deep state' are just sitting back, knowing that they can't beat Trump but don't have to bother trying.  It's been noted that in the last few months, Trump has done well over 100 executive orders, and Congress has passed only five bills.  Guess what, Trump's EOs can be reversed.  Congress has still imposed Obamacare and the Patriot Act and everything else on us which never gets changed.  That's what they're doing now.

The Supreme Court isn't doing much either.  They're probably just looking for a way to go after Trump too.  Or wait for someone to sue over his EOs and then rule against Trump.  In one sense, it's only been three and a half-months, but in another sense, he doesn't have much time left and the enemy knows that.  [Note:  There was a recent ruling, a circuit court over a district court, which people say will be helpful in the future.  Maybe I'll take their word for it.]

□ [“Jill Biden’s New Job Revealed After Leaving White House"]

She can't do anything and she's certainly not going to look after her husband, so he needs to do what all rich leftists do.  Get a job for a billionaire and promote more leftism.  Michael Milken founded an Institute in the 1990s and that's what they do.

You know how the left unanimously rants about how horrible billionaires are except for the leftist ones?  Well here's another.  In an odd connection, Trump pardoned Milken in 2020 for securities fraud.  Milken was convicted in 1990 [!] for ten years but only served 22 months.  Why would Trump pardon that?  And then why do they turn to Jill Biden to give her anything?

I get that they'd want a way to launder more money.  I would hope that DOGE has kept them from getting taxpayer money, although we haven't heard much about that for a while.  It's not like Congress is doing anything to cut off federal funding and, with Jill Biden on-board, they've got an excuse now.  Maybe they'll give Hunter a job too so they can fund more foreign allies.
