Trump has been indicating for the last year or so that he actually believes in God.  No idea if that's real or if he decided this would help his re-election campaign.  It certainly did help and of course I believe it's all part of God's plan, but for the moment, I'll leave that aside.  He's talking about upcoming events, specifically next year being the 250th anniversary of the USA and this is a hint to the actual plans, in a way that may be more standard-Trump.

Regardless of whatever else he's doing, a lot of Trump supporters are getting increasingly pissed off at the lack of progress on important things.  Epstein's list is the most obvious thing, but that's really just a symbol of the complete lack of accountability against our leftist tyrants.  Nobody's being arrested or punished for their treason or terrorism.  It's barely even being brought up and not by Trump and his staff.

But we are watching the left go bonkers.  They are getting more and more violent, which is driving away any sane liberals.  They have to go kinetic, it's just a matter of how and when.  So as they're building up to that, we reach the 249th 4th of July, with a one year stretch leading to the big two-five-oh.  If Trump asked for some advice on to handle that celebration, what would you suggest?  Because I suspect that's what he's going for here.

The left doesn't have much to work with other than propaganda and social status, which they've already been using to little effect.  Proud Americans are demanding action be taken against these scumbags.  Law enforcement and the FBI are clearly doing something, we just don't get to see what.  Even though it's not the sort of arrests we need, there's still activity.  Human traffickers are being arrested and more are being spied on.

I'm probably being delusional - ooooh, the colors! - but that seems quite possible.  Whatever else Trump does, he's a showman, and this is the sort of thing he would have always wanted to build up to.  I expect the fireworks to run for an entire year, from July 4 to July 4.  Meanwhile his economic success will become obvious and hopefully the wars will go away.  That would be something to celebrate.

With no other way to solve their problems, the party needs someone to purge.  Obama's an easy target because, face it, he's never really helped anybody but himself.  In office, he endorsed very few candidates for Congress who won their elections, then there's Hillary and Harris.

His people are all around DC but ok, they can talk, then they still have no idea what to do next.  They were all around the Biden administration, so they'll get the blame, unless you insist Biden was actually in charge.  I'm still fascinated by how little attention the Clintons are getting, their people are still around too, but they're getting quite old and have never come up with any legitimate successors.

In a way, this is a microcosm of the overall problems for the party, trying to tie a bunch of different groups together despite having little in common.  The most obvious thing to do is to turn against men, but all the different skin colors have men who know that's a bad idea.  Arguably the trans movement ended when Democrats tried to push "latinx" as a real term and expected to be obeyed by hispanics whose very language is based on two genders.

There's a news article today about a female black Chicago activist raging against their lunatic mayor for celebrating "African Day" instead of what Memorial Day is actually there for.  Being a black female from Chicago, I would assume she always votes Democrat but that's a big sign of how people are turning against this party.  If you believe polls, those are showing this as well.

So there will need to be a purge.  In the process, any number of Democrats who otherwise wouldn't have a chance will try to become POTUS because why not?  Who cares how small and broken the party gets as long as they're in charge?  But those who are attached to Biden will be attacked, or Obama, soon the Clintons and anybody else who has many years of experience running the party.

□ [“Fantastic Four's Disastrous Test Screening Ending | Here's Why They're Doing Reshoots!"]

Still watching the collapse of Disney and its pet franchises.  Now that we've passed the latest Marvel failure - and I had to stop and think for a couple seconds to even remember which one it was - we're getting ready for Fantastic Four.  This is going to be a big deal, the foundation of the Marvel Universe, on their fifth attempt to make a popular movie and it doesn't look good.

It's just rumor, but they're doing massive reshoots now mostly focused on the ending, the last half-hour or so.  It sounds like they took the source material and re-wrote it to have only the vaguest similarity to the original.  As I'm sure you all know, in Galactus' first appearance, the Watcher send Johnny Storm through the universe to get the Ultimate Nullifier from Galactus' spaceship, then use that as a threat which will destroy the universe.  Galactus doesn't want that so he'll give up as long as he gets the Nullifier back.

Apparently this movie made a few changes.  Sue Storm is the girl in charge, she's fighting the female Silver Surfer and convinces her to turn against Galactus.  Then the Surfette takes out some box she's been carrying that nobody had seen or mention and blows up most of the universe with it.  The FF manage to escape and land in the MCU, as seen at the end of whatever the most recent movie failure was.  [No I will not call it Earth-616, that is the comic book universe.  This one is a different universe.  You can tell just by looking at it.]

I've said this before but one thing to credit the early MCU with is that they took the source material seriously.  Yes it gets changed but usually for understandable reasons.  Of the few movies I've seen, making Nick Fury black was the only major change that made no sense, but that's why they got Samuel L. Jackson so people would accept it.  But now the comics are just source material like everything else in Hollywood, it can be changed for any stupid reason.

So that's what they've done to the FF - just after Disney did that to Snow White, definitely not a coincidence - and they're using that as build-up to the next Avengers.  This is supposed to complete a story arc build up through the last however-many movies.  It was supposed to have Kang as the main villain and look how that worked out.

This just seems like a mind-bogglingly bad idea.  It's almost guaranteed to be a failure.  At best, it'll be less of a failure than other recent MCU movies.  You'd think it means Disney would realize that things need to change but it hasn't happened yet so there's no reason to think that'll happen this time either.  But I do expect a purge coming.

CEO Bob Iger recently visited Trump at the White House.  I'd love to know what he was told but I think the next step will be a purge at Disney.  Otherwise Iger will get the blame, so it has to be either Star Wars or Marvel.  The former is run by a female so she's safe for the time being.  That leaves the guy in charge of Marvel and reportedly he and Iger are now clashing.  I keep saying this but it's much more fun to watch than any of their actual products.

The federal government is in charge of the states, that seems to be the main conceptual difference between this and the Confederacy, which *really* didn't like the Republican POTUS.  But at least southern politicians were elected, these are Democrats just appointing whoever they can to whatever positions there are.

They clearly expect obedience.  Otherwise they'd do the smart thing and point out they aren't the actual government so you don't need to listen to them.  That's also why they aren't concerned about being elected to these positions, that's how unimportant the voters are to this project.  You can see that by putting Senator Fetterman's wife in charge of Homeland Security.

But this does get us a step closer to Civil War 2.0.  They're going to say they're in charge and sooner or later they'll make decisions which contradict the actual government.  Not sure how many there will be, but some people will try to obey them, which will lead to conflict.  Of course this will also repel otherwise-loyal Democrats who just want to give this a rest.  As the Chinese say, 'may you live in interesting times.'  [Why did five cents just get taken from my bank account after saying that?]
