They've been forcing people to do without electricity this summer and now they're going to keep people from driving?  I'm sure they believe that non-gasoline vehicles will magically be available by then but who other than themselves are they fooling?

This is probably just talk that won't go anywhere - I'm getting more distrustful of news articles that don't actually name the people they're getting news from - but I've noticed for a while that Democrats really like keeping their old people around as long as possible, making sure that no younger person can take their seat.  On the other hand, then they get people like AOC who had no political experience and would only repeat standard leftism.  So it goes both ways.
