Leftist judges are trying to do what they can.  Doesn't look like any of them are citing actual laws Trump is breaking, they're just giving orders and expecting obedience.  A couple others have just spoken, saying Venezuelan illegals can't be sent to Gitmo and Trump can't get rid of birthright citizenship.

This one is covering the Office of Management and Budget.  There's another one with the Treasury Department where the judge has said all information must be hidden, even from the head of the Treasury.  That's not how you run an organization, when you're denied access to how the money is used, which is kinda important for the Treasury.  Yet whichever judge that is thinks he has more control over the executive branch than the chief executive or his appointees.

This isn't going to work out.  The judges might have some case for the illegal immigrants but they're going to need to prove it.  Otherwise they have nothing to stand on which is required for a judge.  Now we're going to see how deeply the leftism has sank into the judiciary.  Trump will appeal and we'll see how high up the line this goes.

Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but I wouldn't even trust the Supreme Court at this point.  It's been stacked with right-wingers as much as possible but as we've seen before, that can fail.  Remember when John Roberts somehow convinced himself halfway through his argument that Obamacare was good?  Something like that might happen again.  As the Chinese say, we live in interesting times.

They're trying to make things go kinetic.  The ones getting attention seem to be black like this pastor.  Black female members of Congress just did this in DC.  It's like they're trying to get their servants motivated but how many will actually do anything?  They're openly using phrases like "we're at war!"  No they aren't, they're just delusional enough to believe that anyway.  But who else will believe them?

This just looks like something that's guaranteed to fail.  First of all, their target audience is hardly the most competent or active.  They might have a chance as suicide bombers, but that's about it.  They're the ones who want to ban guns so they're not going to be competent at using them against the rest of us.  Then there's the way they've suddenly started talking about the American Revolution, the founding fathers, how they're all about protecting America, the country they spent years saying was evil and racist and all that.  Many of them are still saying that.  Which is worse, if they can suddenly do a 180 like that or if they try but fail?

This obsession with Musk is also disturbing.  Trump is always the enemy but somehow becomes irrelevant whenever it's convenient.  They barely even mention Putin anymore, who was the one they claimed controlled Trump for the last eight years.  They never explain how they changed their minds on this and nobody who would ask about that is permitted to be in their presence.  They just keep providing evidence that they can't be taken seriously.

In a few months, they'll have probably been able to organize something and will make whatever serious attempt they're capable of.  Probably at some point in Spring, maybe early Summer.  But the rest of us who pay any attention have already seen enormous evidence of government fraud and abuse, just from the last three weeks, and Trump+ will keep pushing that out.  These diehard leftists are being boxed in and don't even realize it yet.

Just speculation, but I've wondered if this was one of the reasons for the "War on Terror," taking down some actual enemies but also giving a lot of Americans experience in a warzone.  Veterans of the last 20 years, we know what it's really like and what the enemy is capable of.  These people aren't that competent, but they believe they know best.  Pretty sure not very many of them vote Democrat either.

The war in Yemen has been going on for quite a while now, is there a reason the UN hasn't stepped in to stop it?  Are they just waiting for the US to do all the work?  Because that's going to be a long wait.  The World Health Organization could just declare it a pandemic and then all the nations involved would have to obey.  Iran backs the Houthi's, maybe you should talk to them about this.

The UN isn't getting much attention these days so they probably need to do something.  Sure, this event doesn't include Israel so nobody cares, but this is the sort of problem the League of Nations had back in the day and look how that worked out.  This is just going to give everyone even more excuse to ignore them, and it's not like they can take care of their own people, much less anybody else.

We pay so little attention to this part of the war, I'm really not sure what Saudi Arabia and Iran are fighting about here, other than just trying to be in charge of the Muslim world.  Even there, you can't move Mecca so conflict in Yemen isn't going to make much of a difference.  For that matter, are any other countries in the region involved?  This just seems like a war that's deliberately ignored.  No wonder the UN is involved.

A lot of us are trying to figure out what's going on, each of us trying to work out our own individual explanations.  Here's another example, mostly focused on the trans movement but will expand to the economy, global warming, and the rest.  The left seems to aim for whatever position is least popular and advocate that for everyone else.

We see this with transgenders, a very very small percentage of people are born without specific XX or XY chromosomes.  Rather than treat them separately based on their own biology, instead the left insists that it can be chosen, and that everyone else must respect it and be punished if you don't use the proper pronouns.  We also have to pay for their operations and drugs and every other biological problem they've imposed on themselves.  A vast minority becomes the goal and the majority gets no say in it.  The right wing perspective would be 'you can chose to be a freak if you want, but stay the hell away from me and my kids.'

It's not that the left believes in these views so much, it's that they want to argue for them and force others to accept them.  The passion and experience of doing this gives the impression that they know or care more about the subject than others, which has carried them a long way.  This is how they've managed to infest popular culture, business and politics for so long and at such high levels.

But they are reaching a limit on that, which is why they're so clueless now.  Trump and his staff must know something the rest of us don't because they've figured out how to set this up as a trap for the left who just keep making it worse for themselves and whoever's left on their side.  And that number will continue to decrease as more people see the problems here.  I don't know how Trump planned this, but it's clearly intentional.

The cities and states must want in on this too, what have they been paying for without their knowledge or consent?  And who has been getting all the federal funding, how much of that is actually used for something and how much was pocketed by the officials?  For that matter, other countries must be annoyed at this as well.  They could ask the same questions, who's being bribed, who's following US tactics to start their own money laundering, but there's also the question of how much control the US gets over the government and local businesses.  Or how much they're paying for an insurrection.

Then there's issues like funding the creation of covid and other bioweapons.  There's also controlling media around the world.  There's funding the human traffickers and places like Epstein Island.  And this is just stuff that easily comes to mind, it probably wouldn't be hard to find a dozen other people with their own completely-different-but-equally-inflammatory possibilities for who's getting all this money.

At this point, it's not going to be hard to find people who are looking for some payback, and not just financial.  Hopefully in a few weeks we'll have declassified info going back to JFK, RFK and MLK.  Then there will be a month or two of reaction as more specifics come out.  The leftists will try something which (God willing) can be stopped, then we'll be ready for Nuremberg 2.0., just in time for July 4, 2026.

At least the Confederacy was justified in protecting their land from invaders, who are these people going to get to handle the front-lines and what chain-of-command do they expect to form?  This would be difficult even under normal circumstances, but the mentally ill will be the ones making decisions and rushing into battle.  Their best shot would be if China or someone injects them with bioweapons or issues them hand-held nukes.  And even then it looks like they wouldn't survive long enough to use them against the enemy/us.

They have eliminated decades of respect for the institutions they took over, their weapons are DEI and internet posts.  They can tear down, but they can't build anything, that's why they installed Biden and Harris during the fake virus.  They can give Trump a Secret Service that knows all the trans-pronouns, but can't send in a competent assassin.

We need to make sure we don't give up or slow down.  The best argument Congress has right now is that Trump is moving too fast, he needs to ignore that.  We need to keep focusing on the immediate task, whatever we're working on, and the overall mission, crushing the enemy.  It's what we're here for, not like there's anything better to do.

I'm not saying they're going to fight space aliens but we've gone from Trump bragging about taking the country to the rest of NATO seeing some reason to get involved.  They haven't been willing to do this for Ukraine, but Greenland must be protected at all costs!

It's possible that this is just a reason to make Europe realize that they have absolutely no military force, so only the countries with nukes would have any actual defense against an enemy.  They've eagerly ignored this while demanding war against Russia, now they get to see what it looks like if the US turns against them.  If they have any competent military leaders, and they probably don't, those should be speaking out and saying how pathetic they look.

But I'm starting to wonder if something else really is going on up north.  Greenland is the most northern landmass, especially as a full country, entirely above 60 degrees latitude.  The only other places that high are a lot of Canada, most of Alaska, most of Russia, most of Scandinavia and Iceland.  Move up 10 degrees and there are very small parts of those nations, but you still haven't reached the large part of Greenland.  Population probably isn't very big but it's still an organized location with a lot of empty space.

The Arctic is an ocean so you can't stay there, thanks to global warming, but the landmass is more permanent, so it just seems like someone is doing something up there.  There's a convincing argument that Trump is just inspiring NATO members to actually build their militaries but what else could be going on up there?

I go back and forth on if the networks and official news sources are sending out hidden signals for 'those in the know' or if they're just making idiotic mistakes.  If I had to guess, I'd say this was the latter, but obviously there's no proof either way.  The big tell will be if anyone actually loses their job for this.

It wasn't just a slip of the tongue, that would be embarrassing but it happens.  The guy delivering this report was talking about a prisoner in Camp Gitmo and got his name wrong too.  This was on the graphic behind him, meaning someone had to have made the graphic, someone had to approve of it, someone had to put it on the air and no one noticed through the broadcast.

Would it be more embarrassing to say that everyone at CNN is too stupid to realize what they're doing or to say they knew about this but it was deliberate?  Pretty sure tv networks have people who get paid to watch the broadcast and make sure there's no mistakes that will get them in trouble.  But this guy kept quiet the whole time.

On the other hand, if it was deliberate, this must be a major signal.  No clue what it's about or who it's for - although Obama and modern-day al-Qaida are probably included - but this is CNN.  They send secret messages and propaganda and they're all out of propaganda.

Still nothing in the way of evidence, but collectively there does seem to be a growing sense of hope and progress from the first three weeks of Trump 2.0.  I don't have to live in Chicago [thank God] but they can probably see the violent invaders reducing in number.  They see a major benefit to getting rid of these criminals which their Democrat leaders should have done years ago, or never even let it happen in the first place.

I've heard anecdotally that there are examples of cities (or states) suddenly moving on actual projects that help people, things like repairing damaged streets.  Haven't seen that in my location, but it sounds like either the people in charge have realized they need to do something that actually helps their citizens.  Either that or with DEI and leftists suddenly fired, they have time and money to focus on these projects.  I hope that's true and that this keeps growing.

It's still amazing that this has happened in just three weeks.  All the talk liberals make about how only government can get things done and only they can run it competently has just been washed away.  They just seem totally lost, how can they possibly win elections fairly [!] when they've never even considered actually doing basic tasks like this?  Even if they were capable of forming a resistance, what can they actually do to convince any sane person of siding with them?

I'm not focusing a lot on what the latest news is on this stuff.  I want a list of spending atrocities, but just being told whether or not DOGE has gotten access isn't that relevant to me.  Or if some judge has denied access.  Democrats are usually slow on appointing judges but in Biden's last few months, suddenly they started being installed.  This is obviously why, because they would be the only ones who had any way to stand up against Trump and DOGE.

Not complaining, it's a valid tactic, but I don't think it'll work very well.  At most it'll be a waste of time.  I'm pretty sure Trump+ have checked for precedents in these things.  It's already been noted that DOGE was a pre-existing executive office established by Obama, Trump just changed its tasks.  A simple internet search shows that other executive offices have changed over time.  The Department of Commerce wasn't created to cover A.I. or global warming, yet that's been added.  Jimmy Carter established FEMA and not for global warming either.

Not clear how much of this is Trump trying to push new rules through, or accomplish what he can while there's still time.  It's also possible that he's just trying to make it clearer to everyone the distinction between the three branches, and specifically the POTUS authority when Congress doesn't do anything.  As far as a judge blocking any given executive order, he's probably already worked out how to get around that, so this judge's verdict is essentially meaningless.  Those that are relevant will need to be proven in court or by some established law.

The left can't even think of things like that.  They're whining about how the government now has access to our social security numbers which the government issued us in the first place.  Which we need to use when we want to get a bank account or buy insurance as Obamacare required us to do.  It's not just that these lazy leftist bureaucrats can't play the game, they don't even know what the sport is.

So why aren't they doing anything with Congress?  You want to keep the Department of Education, it should be easy to submit a bill to 'keep the DoE around forever' and put it to a vote.  That's democracy, ain't it?  If you just want to talk, you could stay at home and chat with friends.  Or subpoena whoever you want to talk to, you're f*cking Congress, remember?

I'm sure there are committees regarding education stuff which some/all of these people are probably on, but it's also a relevant question of how much actual authority members of Congress have when they aren't doing Congress-y things.  Bullying some low-level security guard isn't really going to help your case, as much as Congress might enjoy it.  You want someone to get shot?

Don't know if it's true, but I saw somewhere that they had sworn that they would stay all day and night until they got in, and then were gone before noon.  The state capitol protests lasted longer than that yesterday.  Trump+ have been showing how they just start work and get things done right away, Congress is showing off how they aren't remotely capable of doing anything like that.  This could be a valuable lesson on the distinction between the legislative and executive branches.

There's only 24 hours in the day, so I haven't even been able to pay much attention to what's been found from the USAID money, much less who the recipients are connected to or what other government organizations are handing out money like this.  $260 million to George Soros’s Open Society Foundations.  A few more countries like that and he would be a billionaire.  Oh wait...

Even more went to organizations that fall under him, like Anti-Corruption Action Center, based in Ukraine and responsible for overthrowing the elected leader, Viktor Yanukovych, in 2014.  Another Soros group, East-West Management Institute, got the same money to fund attacks on Georgia and Uganda, Serbia, Albania and Macedonia, to change or manipulate their governments.

And they give almost the same amount of money - $268 million - to fund journalists.  $1.3 billion to Hezbollah.  Another billion to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency which works in Palestine to fight Israel.  And this is just the first step in learning who all is involved.  We haven't even gotten to seeing how they respond to the funding suddenly being cut.  They'll be mad.

And DOGE has just discovered the waste of $100 billion by Medicare and Medicaid.  How much of this did they even try to account for?  You'd think Congress, the courts and the executive law enforcement branch would be very interested in talking to the people in charge when this was all happening.  Those who are responsible must know that they're being targeted, one way or another, so we'll see how prepared they are for this.  DOGE has gone to other offices, they're getting ready to hit the Pentagon.

Biden did this in 2021 so it's not exactly new.  The excuse he gave totally applies to him now.  “I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings.  What value is giving him an intelligence briefing?  What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?”

In Biden's case, he might not even know if this has been taken away.  But the people around him probably do.  They've been able to get access to whatever he has for at least the last four years, and Biden gives away classified information to his autobiography co-writer.  That couldn't be investigated because Biden was too old and weak to bother, according to the investigator, so this was a natural step.

But it does indicate that we're moving to the next step.  I'm sure that Trump+ has been checking out those around Biden, but it makes me wonder, what about Obama, Clinton and GWB?  You'd think any of them could have the same issues.  To be fair, none of them are known to be mentally incompetent, and I'm sure there is a basic 'respect of the presidency' argument.  Trump doesn't want to obviously purge his predecessors without a major reason, and one which should be easy to prove to the public, not just in court.

Interesting look into Trump's executive order.  DOGE is simply a modification of the United States Digital Service, established by Obama in 2014 to improve government software, making things simpler, easier, more effective, cheaper.  The POTUS didn't need Congressional permission to create it or to modify a previously-established organization, meaning that Congress has few-if-any legal grounds to fight this without actually passing a law against it.

That's just so simple, it's brilliant.  We don't elect the people in government offices - like Anthony Fauci or the most-recent Democratic Presidential candidate - so the left's complaints about that are irrelevant.  Meanwhile it's just a change to the purpose of DOGE.  It's not clear by looking at the titles, but it even kept the same acronym.  So it was funded and protected from day one to get started.

Also interesting, there's an end date for this organization, July 4th, 2026.  When that happens, there will be some celebration going on, maybe even fireworks.  This does show they have a plan, even if there's no real clue what direction this is going.  They've also set up defense and funding in a very smart way.

It's taken them almost three workweeks to get around to this, after almost three months to get ready for it?  You might argue that there's a required amount of time for these thigs, but Trump didn't issue these orders all at the same time, so why do the judges all come to the same decisions at the same time?

Obviously a lot of this will be battled in court, since Trump is only a dictator in the left's imagination.  I'll assume this was part of the plan, how to get courts to work out decisions on these things and trying to time them so they interact.  Pretty sure the Supreme Court has been notified in advance, however they handle this, so they could start preparing.  Few people pay attention to the legal aspects, including me, so this won't get much attention.

It can also work the other way.  The Trump administration is suing Chicago and Illinois for their "sanctuary city" policy.  17 states are working out how to sue Anthony Fauci for Biden's pardon.  Trump has already been suing media.  The guy must like spending time in court, I don't know how else to see it.  Look at how much of his life has been spent there.  Not something to envy.

I wasn't interested in watching the edited version which was about 10 minutes long, I'm not going to subject myself to the 53 minutes of babbling.  So I will have to go through other people's comments on the matter, assuming it's even relevant.  But there probably won't be many, Republicans don't have much incentive to pay attention and Democrats will want to ignore what they voted for.

Trump is suing 60 Minutes for $10 billion claiming they edited the video for election fraud.  I don't know if he's serious or if this is just a way to show what they're up against, and by the way, he has executive authority over the networks now.  CBS is trying to merge with some other company and there's a lot of government intervention, so maybe they should play nice.  That's probably why they released this, it's easier than fighting.

But the left and their media will have problems dealing with this, especially as the USAID links start being revealed.  Not just with Harris, although there's that.  She doesn't make public appearances and that's one reason.  If she had to be protected like this when she was actually trying to win, what would she be like now?  But then there's what the media did to protect her, and by extension support every other leftist.

Then there's what the elites can get away with because they're protected by the same media.  Once there's any crack in the shield, the whole thing starts coming out.  I follow my particular interests, which is why I look for any news on Neil Gaiman.  But I'm sure there are similar cases going on in sports, tv, business, every other field where a lot of people are interested and many secrets have been kept out of public view.  Everybody can be thinking 'if they did this much work to protect Harris, what else is there?'

This was leaked from the inside.  In the short-term, the gang is probably on the run, possibly already out of the US.  But now they need to find out who was the leak, and probably not the only one.  We'll also need to find out why they were here in the first place.  Why Colorado?  They weren't the only gang brought in, who else was there?

I don't think the gang will escape.  They probably left scents or other clues that can be followed.  But they'd probably be going for protection from the Mexican cartels.  What we're looking at is making it an actual war.  That's probably why Mexico's government gave in on Trump, they know who's going to win a shooting war and that's what we're going for.  They need to be taken down.  If we use the military, that'll be easy.

The cartels have also been hit by the USAID ban, and whatever other funding the government has used to support foreign enemies.  They have a lot of money so they can step back for a couple years and wait for Trump to leave.  They'll look for other allies, and more American traitors.  It may not start on the border itself, but this could be where the actual war finally starts.

It's taken three years to finally get around to this.  It's not like they have any major victories to point to during the whole war, what's changed?  Maybe it's related to their recent announcements that not all the money the US gave Ukraine actually showed up.

There are several possibilities.  They're lying and just looking for an excuse to surrender, blaming USAID is as good as any.  Or they've laundered the money themselves and don't want to get caught, back to blaming USAID.  Or it really never did show up, but they were still caught by laundering what did show up.  I'm not saying there's a major chance, but it's still a possibility that Ukraine and Russia have been putting on a show all this time just to get more money from the west.

Then there's all the other secrets that might come out.  Back in 2014, Ukraine was investigating Hunter Biden, so his father went overseas to tell them that if they kept that up, Ukraine wasn't getting money from the US.  Or rather, the AID.  I don't think it's been confirmed where the money was coming from, but it does line up with what the Biden family has done, what leftists in government have done and what they were really fighting for.  The Hunter/Ukraine issue came just after the previous Russia/Ukraine war and the US had to fire the Ukraine's elected leader to make that happen.  Funny how Ukraine supporters still never question any of this.

Well that sure looks like a big win of the day.  This is probably why there were protests scheduled for every state capitol today at noon.  There were at my state capitol, over a hundred people.  Not sure how much support they had, but it's fr*king cold out, so there's that.

But this has the potential to a lot bigger than USAID, even that's just because most of us probably have a better understanding of how federal funding works and the scale they operate on.  The cities expect it as part of their budgets, they rely on it.  Now all of a sudden a large chunk of money has disappeared and they'll have to scramble to make up for it all over the place.  Even the bluest cities have a lot of people asking why they're spending so much on illegal immigrants.  Even if everybody doesn't feel the impact, they'll see it on others.

I wonder how that will affect the states.  They get federal funding too and divide it among their respective counties and cities.  This might suddenly hit Illinois or California just as Chicago and Los Angeles feel the sting.  Maybe it won't, perhaps the money goes to the state as a whole and the regulation says they can spend it wherever they want, but I'm sure the federal government could at least look at what they're doing with it.  They could also see if the state laws are being ignored, in addition to the federal laws.  Pretty sure every official, elected or not, signs documents promising to enforce the laws. If they didn't already have an excuse to be fired, here's another one.

This also demonstrates the difference between the two sides of the political conflict.  To the left, anything the government does is permanent, even if it changes what they did yesterday.  The right knows that anything the government gives, the government can take away, and it's in the government's interest to keep people as dependent on it as possible.  The less these sanctuary cities depend on the federal government, the better shape they'll be in now.  So would the illegal immigrants they brought in and promised to provide for.

Politico is a leftist news site.  I assume I've linked to it before but it wasn't something I paid attention to, but it was a big deal to the left.  They were paid by the government to make various announcements, like when it was revealed that the Supreme Court was getting ready to cancel Roe v. Wade.  They're not the only media site either, the New York Times, the Associated Press and the BBC also received money from USAID.  The official sources are paid by the government, funny how that works.

There's also RINO sites, such as Bill Kristol, the founder of the Weekly Standard, a noted conservative magazine that always hated Trump and was proud to vote Democrat.  Politico is getting all the attention, maybe as a distraction or maybe because it immediately went broke and can't pay its employees the day after it happens.  Maybe it was for government bureaucrats, but regardless, there's a lot more of these out there.  Both the outlets for government propaganda and the institutions giving government funding grants.

People are working out diagrams (I think 'matrixes' is the term they use) to show the connections between these organizations.  It's not just 'big guy' giving money to 'little guys,' they're moving it around piece by piece, back and forth through multiple levels of shell companies.  I'm sure there are multiple motivations, but hiding the fraud is the only one coming to mind.  It's not just media and it's not just contained to the US, this is a global network funded by the US taxpayer and aimed at ruling the world.

There's even the possibility that the left is much less in number than portrayed by the media.  There are those who are paid to be there.  Maybe there are also mindless shills who are being told what to say.  No way to know who they are or how many, but to a large extent they'd be irrelevant.  I try not to think in such terms but it's possible.  Who knows, maybe they're even a majority, installed into authority to keep the rest of us in line, or to produce propaganda with the same effect.

But he calls it "dastardly"!!!  So is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, but that doesn't seem to have crossed his mind.  This probably won't make it out of committee or wherever impeachments get started, so it probably won't waste Trump's time, but at least Green gets a chance to show that he's more than just a few 1970s pop song hits.  The Al Green I know was all about love, not dastardity!

Without USAID, it's not clear how he's going to fund the media to promote this.  Unless he's surrounded by bodyguards, at some point someone will ask him how reducing government authority and expense makes one a dictator.  His answer will go viral and humiliate him.  Not even to make him lose an election but that's the party line.  This just comes like a parody of themselves but they expect to be taken seriously.

He's 82 years old, the third-oldest member of the Senate, the tenth-oldest member of Congress.  14 Senators and 40 Representatives have passed their 75th birthday, over 10% of them.  This is just stupid, holding power so long no matter how decrepit they get.  McConnell isn't the only one who's taken an old-timer fall recently.

McConnell recently passed his 40th anniversary in the Senate, longer than he's been married to his current wife.  [Elain Chao, best known as Secretary of Transportation under GWB and Trump.]  There was a time when old men were expected to show their wisdom and experience in public service while young men did the actual work, but there's a limit to that.

I'm sure there are mumbles, but I doubt any of the Republicans in office are talking seriously about telling him to retire.  Even if they were, he's probably surrounded by his staff who just tell McConnell how young and healthy he is.  They must be much younger and more experienced in what's going on outside Congress, so they can manipulate him anyway.  They get paid for that and probably more thanks to McConnell's official votes.

The left is planning a protest at every state capitol tomorrow at Noon.  There will probably be lots of people since none of them need real jobs, but I don't think this will work out as well as they expect.  They weren't able to get any real protests together at Trump's inauguration, a month and a half later they finally get around to trying something?  This just doesn't come off with any real passion.

I would assume Trump&co. have already expected this and are probably working with the state governments for whatever they're going to do about it.  A few capitols might have something going on but otherwise I think it'll be generally ignorable.  But they're going to get a lot of people in downtown areas who are totally against those protests in the road, in every state at once. They might be calling Republicans in Congress about that too, in addition to the state governments.

Is he trying to get more votes in 2028 than he did in 2024?  What else could the result be?

Slightly more seriously, this isn't a major attempt on Trump's part.  The Education Department was established by Congress in 1979 - separating it from the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare - so he'll need Congress to actually abolish it.  I'm sure he can reduce it quite a bit but it'll be up to lawyers to see how far he can go.  In theory, it might be possible to justify a very small office for observation of national public schools.  A lot of this stuff seems to be Trump making an outrageously big demand and then negotiation it downwards to get what he really wants.

We're seeing that elsewhere.  1000 EPA bureaucrats just got fired.  20,000 government employees have gone with that 8-month deal if they quit their jobs.  Not sure what the deadline is but if they haven't reached it yet, I bet a lot more people will be taking that offer before it's too late.  Plenty of time to learn to code.  The others won't be so lucky.  [Finds the specifics]  The deal ends on Thursday.  On Friday, I expect a lot of them to realize they should have taken the deal.

Even Congress is doing something, they're calling NPR and PBS to come testify about what the hell they're doing.  Hopefully they are working on getting Trump's actions made into actual law and hopefully Trump is keeping them in line.  At the moment I'm optimistic but we haven't seen any real victory or improvement yet.  Glad to hear the illegals are being pulled out, love seeing the leftists going nuts, but there's nothing to point to yet that is an improvement, Trump made it happen.  It all sounds great, I'm not criticizing it, it's only been two weeks, but the clock is ticking.

They have obviously come across something really big.  Musk tweeted that they were just looking for the place that defied Trump's executive orders the most and it turned out to be USAID.  They hadn't been specifically going after it.  It's nice to find when I guessed right.  There are also hints that there are even bigger targets to go after.

I wonder how much of this was about funding the 'new world order,' or at least its self-appointed leaders.  Or how much was just funneling money into their own individual perversions.  They were also funding Wuhan labs where covid was created.  Even more, the State Department has been asked specifically about USAID funding this and refused to answer, September 12, 2023 being one example.

More people know what was going on.  Not sure why they've remained mostly silent all this time, but it doesn't sound like that will last much longer.  It's not like they're going to be able to point to any time they funded Trump supporters.  Or Mitt Romney, John McCain, Sarah Palin, George W. Bush, etc.  Some of the Republican candidates themselves might have gotten USAID money, but that would be yet another secret kept by the Democrats who got most of it.  The Uniparty was being fed for a long time.

No proof yet, but it's also suspected that this wasn't about funding other national governments.  This was about funding elites and resistance movements in other countries, tearing them down the way NGOs wanted to destroy the USA.  A small percentage of the money might have gone to actually helpful acts.  How much of that was a deliberate way to get good promotion and how much of it was just leftists being themselves, throwing other people's money wherever they wanted to and it coincidentally happened to help someone for a change?

This is from the nanny.  Not sure how trafficking is included, but Mrs. Gaiman is included in the suit.  She obviously put in time and effort to provide Gaiman with sex victims, typical for a rich man's wife.  That might have been the 'trafficking' aspect.  This lady got some money and had to sign a NDA, which might not be relevant for charges like this.  The suit is also filed in multiple states where Gaiman has residences.

It's possible that Gaiman is just be sacrificed to protect other elites.  I don't think that's going to work very well just because Gaiman's friends and publishers have known about this stuff for so long and are still mostly quiet.  I come from the comics side of things and am regularly checking with the various pros I follow to see how long they'll remain silent.

The court case itself probably won't come up for months or years, assuming Gaiman doesn't just pay her off again.  So the bigger issue is what connections he and his wife had for all the years this was going on.  The people they know should be worried that they'll be dragged in.  Or at least the people Gaiman knows, his wife strikes me as the sort of chick who really doesn't think things through, she just gets everything she wants because that's how the world works.

Well, so much for that.  I've never been a huge FF fan but come on, they're amazing characters and the whole fictional universe followed in their footsteps.  This was not them.

A lot of it looked like a generic Marvel movie.  So right there is a negative score.  There's only a brief glimpse of Galactus but anybody who knows Big G. realizes that this is yet-another generic world destroying villain.  If you have to do superhero battles, doesn't anybody rob banks anymore?  Other than the people making these movies anyway?

These characters are pointlessly modified, so it's still generic Hollywood.  Ben Grimm does not talk softly and cultured as he discusses the meal he's cooking.  Nor does he wear shirts.  This trailer spent way too much time just on this scene.  Are we supposed to want to see this movie because Orange Man (the good one) is doing this?

Johnny really only got a brief scene, which is ok.  He's a hard character to screw up and this was fine.  Chris Evans was the best thing in the only other real attempts at FF movies.  The rest of the trailer was Reed and Sue narrating which was just appalling.  It just didn't come off well for either of them.  And this is what they're supposed to be doing?  Who is this supposed to appeal to?

The soundtrack was horrible.  Setting the movie in the 60s seems pointless.  There's a sense of timelessness which The Incredibles had, didn't see anything like that here.  Fortunately there was no hint of the Surferette but she'll be there.

2025 actually had two movies which I am tempted to make my first visit to a movie theater in five years.  Now we're down to one movie, unless there's stellar word-of-mouth when this one is released.  The other one is Superman and I'll try to remain optimistic but even avoiding what other people are saying about it, there were already problems.  As with other superheroes, the more we actually think about them, the worse it gets.  At least once upon a time, we were expected to grow out of them.  Now they're everywhere, just as life for normal people is getting harder and harder.  Coincidence?

This is a weird feeling, I'm not at all used to it.  I know what it feels like to lose and to lose big and to lose painfully, but this isn't like any of those.  Does anybody know a way to describe this strange feeling?

Just a day ago the leftist sites were boasting how Canada and Mexico were boldly standing up against Trump's evil ways.  How the tariffs would only damage America and other nations would just inflict more on us.  Yet the people in charge of our neighbor countries have decided not to do that, but instead to comply with Trump.

It's like they knew all along that this wouldn't help their side, or they were very quickly informed of this by people who knew better.  At best it was putting on a show for their fellow leftists, then giving up within 24 hours.  That's not going to win them any support at home or abroad, yet they went straight for it.  Now we'll have to see how China reacts.

I still don't get the point of Greenland, although there is a need to defend the Arctic regions.  There's also mining for minerals, but I don't pay attention to that stuff.  My interest is that Denmark is basically giving in, although they stress that Greenland will remain Danish.  I don't care either way, but the Greenlanders may have something to say about that.

I'm also worried that any or all of these nations might be faking compliance, just to gain more of a delay.  I'm sure Trump is aware of that possibility, but it still needs to be brought up to make sure nobody's missing it.  No idea how much time we'll have so we can't waste it.

Not sure I've ever even heard of this agency before, but it sounds like one of the main sites to fund international terrorism, elites and much of what's been working against us for decades.  Karoline Leavitt listed several examples like funding a comic book here, a musical there, pushing DEI and whatever the rest of the leftist agenda is all over the world.

It's not just funneling money abroad, this could also be the main source of the 'deep state' funding, and/or the uniparty.  Members of Congress and unelected bureaucrats could see where to invest, even helping their friends and family.  The people showing up for protests clearly don't have real jobs, so where are they getting money to live on?  Well here you go.

I'm sure there's more sources than USAID but it's pretty clear that this is the main one from Trump's perspective, or at least the biggest and easiest one to take down.  It could just be that he did an executive order against foreign funding and they were the first and loudest to complain.  The DC headquarters was shut down and all the employees were locked out, so they can't access whatever they had hidden there.  Secretary of State Marco Rubio has become acting director, probably because foreign policy is his job anyway.

Democrats are screaming that it's dictatorial to not take American's money and send it out of the country.  We'll see if anybody in Congress isn't part of this.  They're going to need to stop Trump at any cost, not just to protect themselves but to avoid being punished by whoever they've been answering to all this time.

This sounds like a great victory for Trump, or at least the first step towards one.  The enemy's funding is going to dry up quickly.  A lot of employees will decide it's better to turn against their masters and they'll try to protect themselves by speaking out and giving up all the secrets.  I don't know where this is going to go but I hope it lasts for a long time.

Just a note, looking it up, USAID was founded by an executive order from JFK in 1961.  It tied together several pre-existing organizations, but is there any chance it could have some relevant part in JFK's end?  We might find out shortly.

This was from a couple days ago but it's just so pointless and confusing.  This demonstrates that Democrats really have no clue why they lost and they're going to double down on the same insanity.  To elect officers, they need to have multiple elections with specific rules on how they must wind up with equal parts male, female and non-gender.

More than anything else, this is what's pushing people away from them.  Most of us don't have a clue how the economy works so it may not be entirely fair to blame leftists for the massive increase in inflation.  The rest of the world is supposed to be doing things on their own so it may not be leftists fault that all these wars have started or are ready to start.  Even the transgender nonsense, it's one thing if you're an adult who's stupid enough to pretend you can make up your own gender, at least if you keep it to yourself.  It's another thing to force everyone to agree with you and impose that on children.

Yet they're doubling down on this and somehow convince themselves that this will win more elections.  'Doing the same thing and expecting a different result,' does that mean anything to you?  It just shows how they're running around in their own smaller and smaller circle, incapable of perceiving what's really going on in front of them.  Is this what it looked like to the tiny mammals when seeing the dinosaurs looking confused and dropping dead?

Even the media is starting to speak out.  Maybe they're just desperate to find some real viewers, maybe they want to at least pretend to be open minded when they have to re-up their government licenses.  CNN's been acting strange for several months, at least based on news headlines (since I never watch it.)  But they're actually pointing out to a leading Democrat that his party is creating its own problems.

By the way, why don't they ask Kamala Harris?  It's not like she has anything better to do and she probably wants to try again to run for office, so you'd think she'd keep herself in the public eye.  Maybe she hasn't repaid her $20 million campaign debt, but even then, she'd get money to go on tv.  There's a valid argument that the loser should go away, but I must admit, times have changed so might as well give that a try.

Anyway, Kaine still gets paid, although it's not like Congress is doing anything, so he still gets attention.  Gee, it's like the campaign is still going on.  And of course he can't answer a basic question like that.  He just pretends Democrats are doing something, mumbles about the tariffs which haven't even started and then changes the conversation to arguing about the Virginian governor being Republican.

It's long been said that a veep is picked by being dumb enough to make the POTUS look good.  Well, Obama picked Biden, Biden picked Harris and Harris picked Kaine, who is now the leading spokesman for the party.  Don't hear much from others like Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom or AOC.  They have nothing better to offer.  Pointing to that would be a better explanation of why the party is so unpopular.

This is a trap of some sort.  They're going to come to his home and there's something waiting for them.  Not sure what.  The guy has guts to make this claim but that suggests it's something else.  So far all the others who've said they'll do such a thing have given up, but IIRC they were mayors.  Maybe it'll be different with a governor.

Did his bodyguards get a chance to investigate whoever was staying with the governor or could this guy turn out to be an ISIS supporter and nobody would know until it happens?  Or does he have any diseases that your doctor might want to find out about in advance?  There's a reason people who enter the country legally need to be checked out first.  For that matter, does this guy speak english or have you had to learn his language because you work for him?  Taxpayer money going to fund breaking federal law, gotta love it.

Like I said, I admire the guts but this isn't going to work out well for him.  If he can break federal law, he can break state law too.  And so could others, following his example.  At best he'll get other governors on his side to defy federal law, but then that just increases the problem.  Who is this supposed to convince to side with him?

I'm guessing they haven't lost anything from the fires or are in any danger from the ones that are still going, although it is possible some of their important documents have been burnt so they can't be used as evidence.  And as always, these people clearly don't have jobs they need to get to, this is what they're paid for.  It's also obvious that they don't think California has enough problems right now, so they'll add more.

This is the first public appearance of the new 'resistance' movement, which is obviously just a sequel to BLM and OWS, probably including a lot of the same people.  The state and city government will be fully supportive of the fight for illegal invaders.  But this still seems stupid on several levels.

First of all, California is having other problems.  People who lost their homes or at risk of losing their homes or have friends and family who lost their homes, or any of those people who have lost their jobs, are not really in a mood to have the freeway taken over by this rabble.  Either declare them to be your slaves or let them go on with their lives without having anything to do with you.  There's no third option.  The gang members are going to be armed and have no reason to restrain themselves.

Second of all, I assume it'll happen elsewhere at some point, Chicago and NYC being the most obvious places, but it says something that LA is the only place bothering with this.  Can't find enough hired protestors to go out across the country this weekend?  This is showing the 'cultural shift' we've been seeing for the last three months and it's not going to favor the protestors.  This is the mentality that just breaks things down for its own sake and pretends to care about others as an excuse.

Third, this really is showing Californians what they look like to the rest of the world and if there's anybody sane in the state, provides more evidence that this is a bad thing.  How do you decide 'I'm not going to vote, I'm not going to city council meetings, I'm not even going to stand on the borders to keep Trump supporters out of this state, I'm just going to sit on a freeway and that will convince people to agree with me'?

As I said, I'm sure there will be more of these sprouting up, and it is a signal of 'resistance.'  I spent the last four years advocating resistance but I wanted us to go on strike.  Nothing to show off to the media, just letting the enemy tyrants see what it's life without the competent and rational Americans.  Which these protestors could never do so this is what they're reduced to.  I hope they're armed because they're going to need protection soon.

I was hoping he'd do something like this.  I also hope he's including spending in a policy like this.  Like it or not, things are going to happen all of a sudden, it's just not possible to keep cutting stuff and never see a reason to add it.  This regulation is a way to handle that.  If you need to spend money in a way the organization hasn't had to before, make sure enough other spending has been cut to account for it.

With this executive order, it cuts regulations to make things simpler for the public, the customers and the ones who pay for this.  It will also make it easier for the organization to accomplish their task, meaning fewer employees are needed, which cuts costs even further, and benefits the citizens.  I'm sure it's not a remotely original idea, but I've been wishing for a long time that government would do something like this.  And here we are.

It will also show off how idiotic leftists are.  They're going to keep calling Trump a tyrant even as he reduces his own authority and the whole executive branch.  Don't know how long it will last but at the moment he's got enough influence that Congress could make some/many of these simplifications permanent.  It would make life easier, government less intrusive and taxes lower, the whole point of America.  So of course leftists oppose that.

They might try to re-install these regulations in blue states, but that's not going to work very well.  Their own voters will have problems with it and companies will have more incentive to move to a freer state.  Whatever else there is to say about Trump, he's obviously capable of thinking several steps ahead.

I think this is the first one of Biden's parasites we've heard of in the last few weeks.  He's spent most of his life around leftist elites and failed his way upwards, nothing more but two terms as mayor of a city with barely 100 thousand people to show anyone wants him in charge.  But he's already ran for POTUS once and is guaranteed to try again unless something happens.  Like Bernie Sanders, he gives the impression of being more about setting the agenda for everyone else whether or not he actually wins.

We saw that with the Transportation Department where the FAA was short on people when he came in and stayed that way.  But he promoted DEI and gays and took a lot of vacations, so that was worth the money.  Never mind all the plane crashes happening with him in charge.  But only now is he saying anything about it, because it's always Trump's fault.

We will see more of these parasites, although it's not clear how many will go public to get attention and how many will stay in the shadows with those who are actually in charge of the party.  They're trying to resort to the rhetoric of four years ago, Trump's first term, and I really don't think it's going to work that well.  As leftists (gays, DEI, elites) they really don't realize how tired people are of this rhetoric and we're not going to back down.  Things can be fixed, God willing, but they have to get out of the way.  One way or another, that's what going to happen.

They aren't going to waste time and money trying to enforce the law, they'll just keep increasing the price for those who obey.  It's obviously cheaper to disobey the law so they're just going to get more of that.  Not only is this going to help reinforce Trump's goal of getting the government out of our lives, but the city will encourage criminal groups which can provide 'ghost plates' which let them sneak in, or other underground movements for the same effect.

The rulers are just assuming everyone is rich enough to pay these bills, they certainly aren't concerned about the working class.  And anyway, they can all be forced on the trains like cattle.  This is definitely the way leftism operates, although I'm curious if this is just the nature of big cities.  Supply and logistics are so much bigger that there's just more room for leftists who contribute nothing worthwhile and a government who demands an ever-bigger share of the money.

Being delusional, they're just going to keep doubling down.  No one along the line will admit they're causing all the problems, it's always someone Republican's fault.  No idea how accurate the voting rolls are or how many New Yorkers actually voted for Trump, but this is just going to push more people to his side.

Wonder how long it will be before there's a theatrical play (or movie, tv show) set in a workplace or romantic comedy or something basic, and the climax is where the main character mentions that he voted for Trump.  Probably wouldn't be permitted on Broadway but might get some more attention off-Broadway.  Or youtube.  Maybe I'm just fantasizing but that could be very entertaining, especially to see the leftist reaction.

Gee, what sort of husband would want to make sure everyone sees his wife naked in public?  What kind of wife would obey that?  As always, I assume most/all celebrities have their own cults and events like these is where the cults have to interact, so Kanye's just showing off what he's got , at least what he can do to others.

For convenience, I just say this is Hollywood although obviously it encompasses more than that.  They need to pretend to be civil, which will lead to people defying this, as we see from Kanye.  This was probably agreed on by everyone before it happened, they're just putting on a show.  They're the ones who make the decisions, the rest of us just obey, as we see from Mrs. Kanye.  It must take a lot of effort to prevent this from basically being demon worship and I doubt any of these celebrities are willing to put that much effort into it.  Kanye hasn't worked much with P. Diddy, that surprises me.

Their city's in flames but that's not important now, look at this naked soulless woman.  This is the resistance movement they intend to impose on the rest of us.  It shows how far away they are from reality, and indicates what Hollywood has been aiming towards all these decades.  They can't appeal to anybody, they can just waste time and money pretending they know what's best for everyone, and are always surprised at how that doesn't work out.

Wasn't expecting that.  When I saw the headline, my first thought was 'didn't Hamas release enough hostages yet?'  Took me a second to realize this was something else, something to do with ISIS and Somalia.  I still don't know about Hamas and the hostages.

Still not sure what this was about, Trump mostly says that he'd been tracking ISIS since he was in office before and points out that Biden did nothing about them.  The article also cites that Trump has declared the Houthi Muslims as terrorists, again, but they're in Yemen.  Not sure what we're after ISIS for in Somalia, other than for being ISIS, which is fair enough.

Trump doesn't want to get into wars but he also needs to show the world that he knows how to use the big stick.  He didn't do as much about ISIS as he could have last time, probably for that reason.  The main one I remember is hitting them in Iraq in early 2020 IIRC which was a big deal.  This time he's made sure to show that he's not going to put up with stuff like this and it's still only his second week.

I suspect there has to be more plans underway to face the enemies in this area.  Iran and Saudi Arabia are probably the big problems, Turkey, Israel, Syria, they're all there to deal with.  And they all have allies elsewhere in the region or the world so there's bringing them in as well.  Trump is preparing to deal with Russia and no way to know how that'll work out.  Then there's China and the illegal invaders who've conquered Europe.  The war's not even close to ending, it probably won't be over in our lifetimes.  But we have someone who can at least inspire a fighting chance of our side winning.

Black month, women's month, transgender women's month, whatever the politically-correct dates are, he wants them gone.  He does make sure to point out that you'll still get off work for the days that are federal holidays, so you can celebrate on your own time if that's what you're into.  Definitely a good move, we'll see what the reaction is.  The point is that absolutely no man-hours will be spent on celebrating these, that's not what the military does.

Another sudden change is that the "legacy media" has been made worthless.  The New York Times , NBC News, NPR  and Politico had exclusive access to the Pentagon, so all news had to go through them first.  They're still allowed to be there, but other media is now permitted.  Instead of just dictating what we're supposed to be told, more sites will be reporting their own version of things, and any number of them will just include video of the press conference so you can check for yourself if you really care that much.  That's a plus, putting maximum info out to maximum people.

Obviously I'm paying more attention to what the military does than to other things.  It's the easiest place to impose a change in the federal government, although it doesn't work the same way because of military standards.  Lowering the standards damages the military, but's also a convenient way to conduct experiments.  So it could be interesting to see how this works.  One big worry is that it'll just be reversed when Trump is gone.  Then there's all the foreign and domestic enemies that have had full access for the last four years and are probably capable of making plans.  WWIII isn't over by a long-shot.

He comes off as the most generic simple-minded leftist.  All he has to offer is being a white male, because Democrats think that's relevant.  He doesn't have actual accomplishments to point to, but he was apparently able to suck up to the 400+ voters in the DNC.  How encouraging.  They just need someone to fill the chair and take orders.

And here's who's going to be installed as the power-behind-the-throne.  He only got to be famous because of a Florida high school shooting and isn't into doing actual work, so that's what the elites put him there for.

I didn't pay much attention to the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting at the time, so I cannot find where I heard this, but Hogg either wasn't supposed to be at school that day but showed up anyway, or wasn't at school when the shooting happened but ran back immediately afterwards to get media attention.  Regardless, whatever version I heard made it sound like this was all a set-up and he was in on the plan.  The school was part of Miami which had been specifically going after Trump at the time, what a coincidence.  So he's been famous ever since.  [I heard somewhere he even self-identifies as some brand-new gender but am not interested in looking for evidence of that.]

Hogg is always there at protests, probably not paying out of his own pocket.  He even started a pillow company, attempting to compete with Mypillow, a company founded by a Trump supporter which advertises on right-wing media.  Literally two months after founding the company, Hogg quit because he can't handle actually day-to-day operations required to make a business successful.  He just wants to give orders and seize their money.

He says he'll run for Congress when he's 25, and he's 24 now, so we'll see if he actually gets into major bribes or just fools around at the DNC.  But electing these two shows that the party's really not that currently relevant to those in charge.  They just need to get paid and figure out how to make election theft work on the next go-round.  Big-name Democrats are endorsing them, so they'll do what they're told.

One enemy with a lot of influence on us and two countries that are technically supposed to be allies.  It's based on sending in drugs and illegal immigrants, not something you'd expect Canada and China to be doing but who knows?  Canada's the only one that's responded saying they will do the same to us, but I suspect they'll be the first to fold.  Without the US, they don't have much support from other countries.  Mexico at least has other nations and is generally in chaos anyway, so theykd have difficulty complying even if they wanted to.

Partially it's about bringing in money, strengthening the dollar and American industry.  It's also about pushing nationalism to the rest of the world.  Trump is willing to include the EU in these tariffs and is probably just making sure that's doable before signing that.  The EU is getting ready to fall apart and, as nice as it sounds, it's going to be entirely in a good way.

Even Belgium is having problems, they've just appointed a right-wing government.  It's Belgium so being right-wing to them would still make US leftists totally jealous, but it's something.  What I'm more concerned about is Britain.

Not the first time they've done this but that's a very good sign.  "Make England Great Again" is a good slogan too.  It's been ten years since they voted for BREXIT and how is that going?  I'm sure they're officially out of the EU but unofficially, the elites are probably doing everything they can to reverse that and make it permanent.

This is why Trump taking action right away is so important.  We don't know how much of the world is really hearing about this through their respective government censorship but we can hope the populous is learning about this and eager to do the same thing on their own terms.  The self-appointed 'new world order' is not on its last legs, but it's been hit hard and that needs to keep going.  They're the enemy this war was made to fight, or else they'll rule us like the peasants we are.

This Variety article is sort-of an officially statement from Hollywood that Gaiman is being cancelled, although it still doesn't make much sense.  They claim that there wasn't enough of Dream's story to do more than a second season.  Have they ever read the comics?  They claim they looked through them but the title character just isn't there that often.  Is this supposed to be *woke*?  "I'd only watch The Sandman to see myself?"

Much more likely, they're cancelling the show because of all the accusations against Gaiman, and the fact that the series must not have remotely been enough of a success to justify it.  The latter, if true, is understandable.  But the former is very odd.  Gaiman hasn't been charged with any criminal behavior, he's not getting sued by his accusers and they still haven't bothered to explain why he was so abusive and they kept coming back for so long, then waited all this time to make their accusations public.  None of this is a defense of Gaiman, just a sign that we're not getting the whole story.

But Netflix isn't the only ones cancelling Gaiman's work.  His other Hollywood productions are being shut down and Dark Horse comics just announced that they were stopping the adaptations of his novels.  People behind the scenes knew how he behaved all these years, why are they suddenly cancelling him now, especially when it's just accusations?

My guess is that something much darker was going on behind the scenes.  The only way it can stay hidden is if they abandon anyone who was even remotely caught taking part in this.  If Gaiman could get away with this, what did the other popular writers and Hollywood stars do?  What about Epstein Island and people at P. Diddy parties?  They can sacrifice anyone else for fun, they can certainly sacrifice Gaiman to protect themselves.
