Sounds like Disney's latest box-office bomb has been released, the fourth movie this year that cost at least $200 million, not counting marketing or reshoots, not counting She Hulk or the recent Star Wars tv shows.  I heard of the movie as it got close to release but didn't pay attention, so I only found out recently that apparently it involved putting all the characters together for some reason, and it only just occurred to me that the intent was to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary.

Just to be fair, that may have been the reason for the ridiculous over spending, that they expected to be on top of the world and this would wrap up a banner year just before Christmas.  They may not have intended to go 'woke,' that was just a side-effect brought in by all the high-ranking Disney employees.  I know, they are fundamentally self-destructive, but it's possible that they expected to make a profit this year.

It's probably different for each individual, how devoted they are to leftism while keeping their mansions and sucking up to even richer people.  It's also clear that they recognize no limits to how much they can loot from everyone else, so they're the last ones to realize when there's nothing left.  Disney has definitely become a brand that people want to avoid.

I'm still going to assume this was all intentional until proven otherwise.  Just the fact that the people in charge aren't so embarrassed that they're quitting shows that they'll keep pushing 'woke' propaganda and aren't even honest about it.  They insist that there's nothing of the kind, even as they promise to keep pushing ESG, which keeps them in the culture wars.

I've actually given a little thought to Star Wars in recent days.  My affection is all past-tense so that was surprising and no matter how big of a fan I used to be, I never really paid much attention to anything beyond the three movies.  I did see the prequel and sequel trilogies but you can basically count on one hand the amount of other products I've watched other than that.

Given that, and my ignorance of everything else, it's interesting how totally stuck Lucasfilm and Disney are on what to do with this.  One thing that sticks out is how they need to explore a new universe.  How much have they actually showed of the established universe?  They also need to get away from the Skywalker family but then they're just left with a space fantasy that doesn't have any need for the Star Wars logo, unless they insist on including Jedi and lightsabers, which brings you back to the Skywalker family.

There's the notion of going forward or backward a couple thousand years, but that doesn't help, precisely because they haven't established the timeline between these events so there's still no meaningful connection to what the audience has actually liked for the last forty years.  Yes, I know the fanboys have developed this and there's been thousands of novels and such, but that can't even be put together coherently by a single company on Earth, much less into an interesting movie people want to see.

For a solution, as always, I cite using Godfather as an example.  The characters and the story would be different, but it's about Michael Corleone and the changes and problems he faces in his life.  But where does it start?  His sister's getting married.  His brother is banging bridesmaids.  His father is being asked for favor after favor.  And oh look, there's Frank Sinatra, yay!  And he wants a favor, a part in some movie, so the next scene takes us to Hollywood where we learn about raising horses.  That's just the first half-hour of the movie.

Would it really be hard to come up with a new Jedi and show similar events happening around him as he grows and changes?  That could be used to expand the surroundings in a believable way and, dare I say it, make it interesting to the audience?

Hmmm...  Is this true?  What about that speeding in the wrong lane and the car going boom?  The car was a $300,000 Bentley, are those known for exploding?  That could be a design flaw.  Or were the couple suicidal?  I'm not even denying this might be what really happened, but is it really that believable?

I'd like to say it's the media's fault that this is how respond, but I'm decent enough to admit that the audience has some responsibility.  What's their excuse?  There is a common saying that we should wait a day or two on the news for the truth to come out.  That's fine as a basic guideline, but who knows how often we'll actually follow it.  I haven't seen any mention of the Iranian passport, what happened to that?

Nothing more will probably come from this, so there's no point in asking if they were vaccinated against the virus or if they were just going to die right there no matter what.  I will think it's more likely this was an actual terrorist attack and our rulers are lying to us.  Or it was a nothing event but the media just wants to keep pushing us further into desperation, not knowing who to trust.  Or maybe it was just an ordinary car accident.  That's it.

I assume there are other candidates but for convenience sake, I generally say that the WHO are the official world rulers at this point.  One of the first things Biden did was hand over authority to them, so that's basically all that's needed.  For another thing, I still assume there are other candidates, but I take it as a given that China runs the WHO.  Even if it's not literally true, it's close enough for government work.

So there's the new manufactured virus, whatever that is.  Probably more than one, because why not?  Our governments have spent the last four years looking for ways to further expand their power.  New York State has just passed a law for concentration camps for disease.  They'll decide what you're infected with, they'll put you away until they decide to let you out and they'll inject whatever chemicals they want into your body for any reason they come up with.  What are you gonna do, fight back?

It's still why I'm convinced that there is much more than the WHO in action here.  Yes, they're part of the United Nations, but the fact is, most citizens on the ground don't pay any attention to them.  They have to work through their puppets in national governments to have the slightest effect and there's already more than enough reason to turn against them.  Sooner or not soon enough later, that's going to happen, and then what response will they have available?

Well of course, if they didn't have good records, they wouldn't know who to blackmail.  This is what tells us that nothing's going to happen here.  At best, the DOJ will know who can be blackmailed, assuming they didn't already know that.  It just comes across as wanting to show that they're aware of everything.

This sort of thing has probably been going on since DC was built and wouldn't surprise me if it includes all the child trafficking and such.  There are probably many other branches across the country, if not the world, so just hitting this place wouldn't mean anything, even if we had real law enforcement officers who supported this nation.  The customers would just drive a mile or two over and find a different spot.

Any chance one of  Trump's appointees visited the brothel and the rulers want to put that info out?  They obviously didn't get any of that from the list of visitors to Epstein's Island, which is why that's remained hidden.  We know that nothing will be done with this, the best we can hope for is that there is something underway to fight back at a high level, but that gets more and more unlikely every day.
