It didn't take them weeks or months to figure out what a woman was when they created the league, what's changed?  There must be a reason it was called the "women's" league in the first place.  But if they start looking back at the last couple decades, they start seeing all the other pro-trans arguments that work against them.  A few people have started saying the players need to go through the surgery, which contradicts all the claims that 'genitals don't define your gender.'  They didn't have this requirement to putting them in the military or putting men in women's prisons.

The WNBA's statement did include that *some* of these people were working in "bad faith."  That's not going to work either, there's no way to prove which people are working in "bad faith" to have the same results as people working in "good faith," getting to play on a sports team.  Their coaches and players are saying trans can play on the team, that would just encourage more to try.  So what's the problem?

They're going to go quiet.  It won't solve the problem, they've still got brand-new transgenders trying to join the league, but they'll want as little attention as possible going forward.  But will the trans and their supporters obey?  The rest of us are already entertained by this and they can't just go silent when it's convenient.  If they could, this wouldn't be a movement.  But if they start making a ruckus, it'll just be bad publicity for them.  The left supports them but the mid-terms are in three months, this is the wrong time for them to deal with this.

That's going to make it hard to finish by 2028 but it was supposed to be finished by 2018 so look how that worked out.  It's quite possible the money is being laundered but it's also possible that it's just plain incompetence.  The left is in charge, there's no way to know the specifics.  They also have no incentive whatsoever to fix things.

They're still on the first 34-mile section of track out of the 800-or-so they were supposed to have done eight years ago.  Jerry Brown was pushing this the first time he was governor and finally got it to happen the second time, this does suggest it's much more about laundering the money than actually doing anything.  Probably explains why Arnold Schwartzenegger was such a big supporter too.

Gavin Newsom will be stuck with it when he runs for POTUS although he'll probably just say the federal government will fund it.  That's a bonus for liberals.  Even if it wasn't, I don't know how they could stop it at this point.  The government can fake the polls saying the public still wants this and it's not like they need to put it up to a vote ever again.  The left will just keep leeching off this as long as possible until there's just ruins which are forgotten.  "Look on my works, ye mighty and despair."

She admits that the party leadership chooses the candidates, not the voters.  Well we knew that, I've always assumed that's why Bernie was able to stay in the primaries so long.  He wasn't trying to win, he was negotiating with those-in-charge to make sure they installed leftists who could pretend not to be leftist when they needed to.  The people who handle primaries are already leftist so they helped out.  Nothing to do with her personality but Hillary might technically have been the least-leftwing Democrat candidate in the 21st century.

Psaki is trying to say that it's changed now which sounds wrong in several ways.  The rich leftists want their leftism promoted and won't give tons of money if they don't get it.  But leftism is just about demanding money and sending men-with-guns to take it from others.  For some reason government makes all the money but needs to take it away from others.

This is just pushing out something to keep the party members in line.  They need to believe they're opposing the people in charge and never notice the contradictions.  I don't know who Psaki is doing this for or why.  It's possible that's not even relevant, just putting out more noise to join with all the others doing the same thing.  What she's saying is less relevant than going on MSNBC and sitting on a panel for a few minutes.  That's what they get paid for.

I knew the Kennedy Center was being fought over although I still don't know why, but I didn't know the National Guard was still in DC.  There's the conflict about the White House renovation, the basin between the Washington and Jefferson memorials, probably others but those are the ones that come to mind.  Something about the basic civil improvements in DC is pissing Democrats off, which lines up with Hillary Clinton's recent demand to restore the old ways as soon as they took over.

As always, the fact that Democrats are fighting about these things all at once just comes off as suspicious cult-like behavior.  I think more than anything, that's why Trump brought in the National Guard, because they can be federalized and under his command.  He can keep DC basically safe and whatever leftist schemes are going on won't just be covered up by the local police.  It would be nice if there's some actual proof but day after day, that's what these patterns look like to me.

Just a brief look at DC history shows a lot of underground activity, the sort of thing that elites and criminals would get into.  I'm looking into the Krazy Kat Klub but I'm sure there's been a lot more in the last 200+ years.  I'd like to think Trump is digging that out but as with everything else, there's no sense of progress or direction.  I'm just making this stuff up from what seems most likely, it would be nice to actually get some evidence of what's really going on.
