An election in Virginia today.  I haven't checked but I assume the Democrat has stolen it.  He really wasn't trying to convince anybody to vote for him.  That wasn't his job, he's entitled to win.  It's sort of like how people who recite 'global warming' nonsense find themselves entitled to drive everywhere and fly planes everywhere.  I'm starting to theorize that this is really where modern leftism came from.

They pretend to believe in it so they can ignore any of their own rules.

There's a level where the leader is important but I think leftists tend to avoid that level and focus entirely on the leader for the wrong reasons.  They want to destroy the US so if Biden shows them doing it.  As always, there are multiple levels, more than we can count, where Biden is obeying whatever they command, but I do have to wonder if this focus on leadership is the overall goal.

There's also a perspective where failure itself is the goal.  They don't have to actually believe in what they claim, they just have to pretend to believe it for others.  It would still be ambivalent if they're showing off for their peers or if it's just something to force on the serfs.  But failure is the goal, taking everything down.  Is it a level of mass suicide or do they really believe that they'll keep their mansions while everyone else lives in caves?

How obvious.  You don't have to show ID though, you can just come back and vote over and over, no one will recognize you.  I've assumed all year that they've put everything in place to steal all future elections and haven't been wrong yet.

They want tyranny.  Is it deliberate or just trying to destroy everything for everyone else?  There's a recent article I'm not bothering to cite, but it suggest their goal is marginalization of their opponents.  That stands out more than any of the other examples I've seen lately, it's trying to draw anything and anyone they don't like out of the picture.  They're good at making individuals believe they're being pushed out as freaks.

I've said before, I think it's fundamentally opposition to individualism but as individuals, they can't succeed at that.  Which lines up with the idea of 'failure' being their overall goal.

Just a note, there's a trailer for a new Ghostbusters movie.  It's maybe 15 seconds long and doesn't do anything but it actually looks something like Ghostbusters might.  It's just small Mr. Staypuft's playing around in a kitchen and someone points a flashy light at them, burning them down, then the camera moves up to the guy's concerned face.  Ok, it's a cute reminder of the real Mr. Staypuft.
