The parasite takes over and keeps growing until it destroys the host.  That's what leftism does to the state.  They always think there will be another host and they'll be in charge.  I do think that's part of human nature and will never be completely removed, but a large part of them is being cut out of society.  California is where some of the biggest parasites are.

They're even having a few of these problems show up at once.  It's been about three months since the big fires that they were too lazy to put out.  Pacific Palisades is getting the attention, with over 6800 homes and businesses burned down, and in all that time, only 4 building permits have been issued.  The black female L.A. mayor had made a big deal out of making this simpler and this is the result.  Except for these four locations, anybody who's wanted to rebuild after that disaster has been stopped by the government.

Then there's the high-speed rail project which was approved in 2008 to cost $33 billion and be finished by 2028.  It's barely gotten started, has already cost $128 billion, and suddenly announced that they need another $7 billion by next summer to handle the shortfall or the project has failed.  They can't keep doing whatever they've been doing without that money, so pay up, taxpayers.

Presumably they're expecting the federal government to save them but that's not going to happen any time soon.  Trump promised to start an investigation into this mess and that may be why this news has suddenly come out.  The state still has to fund illegal aliens and former slaves, they're going to need to find some new income.  Maybe Nancy Pelosi's husband could help them find stocks to invest in.  Or they could just seize her money because she's rich and white.

They want to restore the Confederacy.  They don't realize the importance of basing it on land with actual people, they think it can all be handled on the internet, but otherwise the idea is the same.  That sort of thing would fall apart immediately if they ever tried it.  Where are you going to put the truck stops between NYC and Chicago?  Or the airstrips?  Provide food and electricity?

If they were asked these questions, the answer would probably be something like 'we'll just invent better versions that totally work.'  This is why they're guaranteed to fail but won't realize that until it's too late.  But they already want their own media, following in the footsteps of Air America.  Walz is even talking about 'alternate press conferences.'  Can't form a government but they're ready for press conferences?  The cart is way before the horse here.

They really can't let people vote for this "shadow government" or they'll expect some results.  So really this is just the elites and their appointed officials trying to keep going.  No matter how rich they are, they need other people who will actually go along with it and those people aren't going to be *woke.*  The fact that this guy is still out there pushing that stuff, who the hell is sending him and telling him what to say?  He certainly doesn't see any way this could go wrong.

Another example of leftists creating the problems they promised to solve.  Our rulers have this ridiculous notion that there's no way to get internet access outside of the big city so they implemented this plan.  But it completely failed, virtually no internet has been established anywhere because of this.  So these two leftists go through the bureaucracy's step-by-step requirements and it's mindbogglingly complicated.

This is what they voted for.  This has what they've promoted to their audience.  This is what leftism brings.  They do point out that this was a Democrat law signed by Biden, but they don't go into detail on that.  They don't even mention any of the DEI requirements that would effect every step of the way, gotta include all the genders and skin-colors in the government office that review the letters for the planning grants to prepare the five year plan before the federal government will set up a map to identify the broadband subsidies.  And that's an early step in the process, there's a lot more offices to go through after that.

This is what leftists have always wanted.  No matter how many times they're told the result is just expensive failure, they always ignore that.  They always retreat to saying you're racist or sexist or whatever.  If we didn't live in a civilized society, they'd have been executed long ago, which is exactly what they oppose.  They're the ones who want "population reduction," they're the first in line.

Can't they find some 20-year old Latinx who's on her fifth pregnancy or something like that?  Why are they all so determined to defend murderous Venezuelans?  As if there weren't already enough suspicious connections with these things.  Just to name a few, leftists supported Venezuela until dictator-for-life died and his appointed successor took over.  They always support invaders.  They've gone back-and-forth for twenty years on whether they support Gitmo or not, Boasberg is clearly the main weapon to use against Trump right now and then there's the Alien Enemies Act which is almost as old as this country.

There's also the fact that the left doesn't have many useful tools right now.  The Venezuelan invaders are probably the ones they're most drawn to but that just comes off as creepy.  They spent months pretending this gang hadn't taken over buildings and expanded their power in neighborhoods, now they're still defending them.  How do Democrats get to the point where siding with the enemy is the hill they're willing to die on?

This is either just about pushing some wussy propaganda that won't go anywhere or they're trying to set up some big attack.  Not sure which is more likely or what attack would be done.  The gangs are thugs, the Senators are puppets.  About the best thing to say is that it's not likely that either option will win public support.  The latter at least has the chance to get rid of a lot of people they don't like, and a lot of others too.  And leftists support this.

I'm sure she'll give it a try but it's unlikely she'll get very far.  She's just had her name attached to a NYT editorial about Orange Man Bad, seeing if there's any interest from the public.  There's a very slight chance that there will be because Democrats have nobody else to put up front.  There's a slightly-larger chance that the Clintons still have enough authority in the party to install her as the candidate again.  But that's not going to get very far.  *Maybe* they can successfully steal the election for her this time, but it's nothing to put bets on.

She's been famous for thirty years but has never done anything to earn that except keep a ring on her finger.  [Your mileage may vary on whether or not that's a major accomplishment.]  She irritated a lot of people as First Lady.  She didn't stand out in the slightest as Senator.  She was beaten in a Presidential primary by a brand new guy because the party was desperate for someone else.

Other than setting records for fossil-fuel burning travel, getting Americans killed in Libya and storing top secret information on an unsecure private server, she didn't accomplish anything as SoS.  She rigged the Presidential primary to ensure she won this time and still nearly lost to Bernie, then she was still too sick and lazy to seriously campaign.  Since then, she's generally been ignored since, but now she wants yet-another attempt to run for POTUS?  The third time in twenty years?

It is possible that the Clintons are addicted to power.  It's also possible that there are security protections for candidates, I suspect that's why Nancy Pelosi filed for the 2026 election last November.  But Hillary is too old and weak for anyone to take her seriously so other than avoiding being charged for her friendship with Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weisman, I don't see any serious chance of success for this.  If nothing else, the party would be too desperate to revolt to put up with her anymore.
