Why are liberals so determined to take this position?  Can't they at least openly acknowledge who they're defending? Maybe add that they wish they weren't defending a white-skinned child rapist? I've paid attention to yet another movie.  At this rate you'll need more than one hand to count the movies I've seen this year, or at least played while I was doing other work.

This one was the biggie, Star Wars.  Haven't seen it in ages but it popped into my head this morning.  I'm actually tempted to go through the whole One True Trilogy but that's iffy.

Anyway, it's been long enough since I've seen it that I'd forgotten about a lot of details.  I knew that it was basically Flash Gordon and influenced by a bunch of movies about warplanes but it was nice to see how minimal the actual story was.  It's quite straight-forward.

I still think that the best part about it is how well the story builds up.  For the first fifteen minutes or so, you think the movie is just about two escaped droids.  Then they get pulled into slavery and their master gets killed so their master's son takes them on a spaceship.  There's very little to do with the princess from the battle in the opening scene but they're all brought together quite well.

There are obvious problems with the plot as well.  There's several places where anybody with actual military experience could see how the Empire would have set up air defenses and sending in troops to inspect or capture someone.  Finding Luke and Ben in the cantina, stopping the Falcon from escaping Tatooine, stopping the crew from going around on the Death Star or escaping the Death Star...  That's just obvious stuff, there's no way they could be a galactic empire with so little knowledge of how to actually run things.

The biggest problem I saw - and this is only with the movie itself, I'm pretty good at ignoring everything that came afterwards - was the climax.  Luke is not very good as a hero type through most of the movie (exceptions noted, there are some) but here it was ridiculous.  He'd have to be a total idiot to pick the most unprovable way to aim a torpedo and this is the time when being wrong would be utterly disastrous for the universe.  What's he going to do if he misses, say "oops" and try again?

It works as a climax for the movie and I have to wonder if that's what made it so popular, showing unknown emotional guesses as the right way to go, no exceptions.  It's certainly an example of what the left has been after all these decades.

Which has made me wonder if there was any Hollywood conspiracy trying to make this work for them.  An obvious objection to this would be that nobody could expect such a massive hit.  True, but I'm trying to work out a theory about how they were looking for *anything* that was a hit so they could exploit it for leftist purposes.  That's also why I've been thinking about Guns'n'Roses so much these days.

The first scene filmed was in Tunisia (when I was 9 days old) and I wonder if there was any influence from the Muslim world and/or the drug trade.  And sexual interest in underage boys.  That's the sort of thing that makes me ponder if there's an underground conspiracy going on.  A generic sci-fi movie that no one expected anything big out of, so they might as well hire the daughter of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds who's only ever been in one movie, a minor role in Warren Beatty's Shampoo.  Why would Star Wars need to go to Tunisia to film a desert?  It's not like they didn't have those nearby and it's not like they didn't just make up backgrounds.

Harrison Ford even made a point of personally honoring child rapist Roman Polanski as Hollywood celebrated him.  They've been into this for decades if not longer.

... and then I woke up and realized it was all a dream, the world was normal again! What a nightmare!

I'm starting to have slight perceptions of what the war really is, the one that (I think it was) LTC Miller and Trump mentioned in a speech.  Still very slight so I don't know who it's against or anything else but I get the sense that more people are aware of it.  There are times when I wonder if even China/Russia/Iran/etc. are falling to these attacks as well.

I'm also noticing the media still insists that the child rapist pointing a gun at someone who shot him was black.  The molester was clearly white but they report otherwise and it makes me wonder 'did he self-identify as black?'  Currently leftists insist that you're born with one skin color and that's what you'll be for the rest of your life but why would they stick with that when they've thrown away everything else they pretended to believe in.  It's not like they don't already have a lot of white people self-identifying as a different skin color.

After all, notice that people who self-identify as a woman never need to define what a woman *is.*  I don't know if it's an overarching goal but at least some people will do that for skin color which will conflict with those who really really believe in skin color first and foremost and self-identify as black.

Today the Washington court case had the defendant not-guilty on all charges.  Of course the media is universally saying how wrong it is to shoot a child molester who's pointing a gun at you.  Was this the planned verdict?  Now everybody can start rioting this weekend, at least the armed leftist forces and their minions.

It's like there's an elite conspiracy trying to tear the entire world apart.  As leftists, I could believe that they've never given it any more thought but there's just no way to believe that.  They have to have a further plan than this, or at least their master has to, whoever that is.

This is where you have to wonder if we should just blame whoever self-identifies as Satan.  Where's the benefit to this other than outright powerlust for those in charge?

Maybe it's enough of an example to ensure future societies never again permit a female president no matter what she self-identifies as.

I've started work on my next project, I'm going through all the material in all of my books and I'll try linking it together by subject.  Then I'll see if I can re-write it all as a summation of this work and whatever I've been trying to accomplish.  I don't even know what I'll be going for or how, exactly, I'm going to do it, but it's always been in my mind as the final step on this project.  God willing, I'll still wrote and publish books after that, but it'll effectively be 'epilogue.'

Hopefully there will still be a lot more books in the 'epilogue' but I don't expect anything.  I don't know if everyone else is as miserable as I am but I'm positive a lot of people are more uncomfortable and there's no sign of this downhill slide stopping.  It makes it sound good that time seems to be slipping by faster and faster and we get closer to death.  That's not the way the world should be.

This article came out a couple days ago.  Very few Veeps have been replaced, they've usually just left the slot empty because they died or replaced the POTUS.

I've seen the suggestion somewhere that it's Michelle Obama who wants this and I might as well believe it because that's as stupid as anything else.  I might as well suggest that Harris is too obviously insane even for leftists and getting rid of her might been taking Nancy Pelosi out of the House so they're looking for other options.

This is what they're doing.  The current trial about a shooting has the prosecutor being as stupid as possible, up to and including pointing a weapon at the jury with his finger on the trigger.  No one above him would tell him to knock it off, telling me that the verdict was already settled and he can do anything he wants.  The guy shot to death had been convicted of 11 charges of child molesting, including anal rape, of five 9-11 year old boys.

Today I finished Army of One, collecting the best material from my 20 books.  I've been looking forward to doing this for years, even printing a proof copy in late 2015.  For the last few weeks, I've been wondering if this was like the final step, not just for me but for the rest of the world.  Maybe it's just coincidence but I haven't changed my mind yet.  More problems are going to start appearing in everyday life, aren't they?

For instance, if all the ATMs suddenly die, we'll have to pay for everything in cash which we don't have on it.  That's going to cause desperation immediately.  It just seems like that's going to make the prices skyrocket before everything is gone.  And a gas station had cars on every single dispenser but no one is there filling the car.  Are they inside buying something or is there no gas?

Ok, that really scares me.  Should I do something about it, like, right now?

We just keep getting lower and lower, but there's no ground floor in Hell...

Definitely not expecting to write much tonight.  I know that's pretty common these days whether I write anything or not.  Maybe I'm just so desperately focused on the book that I'm not focusing on writing anything else.  Maybe I'm depressed.  Maybe the whole world is depressed.

I've been thinking about the "year zero" concept that revolutionaries go for although I've never looked into it.  It seems to be the notion that they can get away with anything and *after* they win, time will be allowed to pass.  My original thought was that this was being added to everything else they do, hoping to burn down anything they don't like, but I've realized that's irrelevant, they'd do that anyway without any "year zero" idea.

I will say that it sounds like it comes from someone who actually has to be in charge of others.  Subordinates wouldn't think as much about what year it is.

I did start it thinking about modern music and how it seems to be basically garbage that comes in and goes out.  There's no melody or skill, it all comes from pushing buttons.  This does seem to have been the goal of whoever's in charge, why would you move from rock'n'roll to this?  But I dunno, there seems too many other possibilities to go with this idea.  Maybe there's some connection but we'll never know.

I'm too lazy to look up the details of the trial going on about a Trump supporter who had a gun pointed at him by Antifa and responded by shooting the guy but it's looking like the fix is in.  The prosecutor acted as stupidly as possible and in a fair trial, that would have been called off by his supporters. Since no one would say anything like that to him, it's clear there will be a 'guilty' verdict and he didn't even have to try looking like he knew what he was doing, it was already set up.

Right now it's looking, correctly or not, like that's what will get rid of everything.  Time is almost gone.  Even Biden said this Thanksgiving would be miserable for people and it's not like he has a clue what he's talking about.  So there's another week or so, max.

They all see an 'us versus them' mentality.  "Deplorable" or "insurrectionists."  "Domestic terrorists" suddenly went from being a term they oppose to one they accuse anyone they don't like of being.  They can show off their peasants forced to wear masks and symbolize their own superiority by not wearing such things.  This helps with discrimination which they also love but sometimes pretend to oppose.

It's all for dehumanizing their opponents and helps to organize work-camps.  You know they're planning to do that as soon as possible for anyone who doesn't obey the propaganda, everyone who disagrees is "racist" say the people who claim to want "unity."  They're already spying on everyone, snooping through their files, bank accounts, etc.  One assumes public execution will happen soon and guess what, all of them will say it's entirely the fault of their victims.

I guess I'm done now.  Or I was done ages ago and haven't realized it yet.

But Harris is supposed to be doing stuff and can't be bothered.  She's been put in charge of the border crisis and hasn't even bothered to visit, but she goes to parties.  She wasn't picked for any ability and Democrats know what to use her whichever skin color she's claiming today.

I don't know if we're all getting weak but I definitely am.  Right now I'm trying to spend every free minute finishing the last step in the book.  When I get done with that, I'll probably be focusing on what supplies I have and what more I need.

If everything fell apart tomorrow but there was no violence, I could probably make it through the winter.  Since there will be violence, I'm trying to work out an escape plan.  I'd like to think of more than one but I'm not sure how.  It's not like there's anywhere to escape to.  I don't have a lot of stuff but what I'd need would take up space.  Just enough food and water to survive would take up a lot of room and I don't have a car that's good for moving stuff.

I'm actually wondering how much a trailer would cost and how to fit it to one's car.  And of course where would I flee to?  This is the sort of thing that makes it difficult to figure out an escape plan.

And they're going to start imposing their will when the actual hunger gets started.  They'll have obedient men with guns who are well fed.  About the only thing to hope for is that they didn't see this coming and haven't planned for it.

Well the media has to do something, it's not like they're covering the hostages in Yemen or Afghanistan.  Or even covering how the people in charge of the US are supporting the hostage-takers in Yemen and Afghanistan.  More than they support the hostages, that's for sure.

So they can obviously treat other Americans this way without hesitation.  I think they're going after the rest of us pretty openly.  There's the current court case about someone who was attacked by Antifa (or whoever) and shot them.  They were already pointing a gun at him, they already attacked him and he's on trial.  Leftists are already threatening the judge and jury if they don't convict him.  That's the sort of thing they do.

From what little I've heard, the prosecutor even did a really horrible job trying to make his case.  That won't matter, they own the courts now.  Their accusations are all that's needed to convict and will never happen when they're the ones on trial.

I did receive the next step in my publishing, I now have a complete set of Vanity, collecting everything from my books in chronological order.  Everything is labeled for which part of which book it came from.  That was a lot of work.  There's one or two fictional stories I never got around to including but the rest of it is there, even some fiction I don't ever expect to publish.

Now I have only to finish the 'best of' collection.  So far I've narrowed it down to @850 pages which is still way too many.  I have to figure out what to remove and then there's all the formatting.  I'd really like to have it done by Thanksgiving.  If we're still around by then.

It occurred to me today that the vaccine could be a slow version of what Thanos did and made me wonder if that's why the left is so excited about this.  Probably not true but the thought won't leave my mind.

Many people have been asking me (in my imagination) what my plans are for the book.  I have put together everything in chronological order for Vanity and am awaiting proof copies.  Don't really expect to get further than proof copies, it's just for my records.  I have also put together a book of my humor, Rococo Coffee, and am awaiting finished copies of that.

I am now trying to go through organizing my last part of the project, a 'best of' collection, Army of One.  I've had this in mind for years.  I still haven't decided what my final format will be, I'm just trying to rush through the material over and over until I've reduced it down enough to fit into one book.  I don't know how long that's going to take and I really do need to hurry.  It would be really nice if I could order finished copies by Thanksgiving, dunno how likely that is but I'll give it a try.

After that, I will continue to write, God willing, but my priorities will probably be more about surviving the upcoming chaos.  Anyway, my current plan for the collection is to be in the same format as my other books, but it will be up to 500 pages.  I really don't want to do re-writing but I will probably fix typos and I'll certainly move around relevant jokes as need be.

I should have enough food and water to get through the winter, God willing.  I'm looking at further methods of survival.  Haven't come up with any yet but there should be a chance.  Right now what I'm trying to think of is a workable method of transport.  I don't want to buy and fill several gas cans but I can't think of a better option.  There's no way I could voluntarily leave everything behind so I'd need to be able to move at least a car full of stuff.

Otherwise, I've also decided to finish the book as much as I've ever planned to.  I have ordered proof copies of Vanity, all the work in chronological order, including some fiction that hadn't been edited enough to publish otherwise as well as the non-fiction I've written since my last finished book.  It's basically everything up through November 7, 2021.

The final task is to work out a 'best of' collection.  I have no idea how many pages that will take up.  All fiction, comics and essays I didn't write will be removed and that alone would take several days even if I had nothing else to do.  After that I'll have to start cutting out stuff that isn't good enough to continue.  I'd like the finished work to be in the format of all my others so I will have to keep a lot of jokes to use in-between each essay but beyond that, the only plans I have are to limit it to 500 pages maximum and use the cover I've always intended to have, Army of One.

That's not me on the cover by the way, I'm the one who took the picture.  It's probably Best Clerk Ever but there's a reasonable chance it was someone else.  Whoever it was, it was somebody I knew at the time but there's was no chance of recognizing him then, much less now.  You'd have to see the picture to understand.

That's all I have to say at present.  Have to get back to work.

Speaking of conspiracies, it's just occurred to me why I might have been focusing on G'n'R lately.  I still don't get what the set-up would have been about but as soon as they started becoming popular, they were immediately pushed into megastardom.  Then Geffen Records followed them up with Nirvana who weren't talented and did just go along with what they were told, leading Cobain to shoot himself.  By that point there was gangsta rap and since then, popular music has been pretty much garbage.  Every so often they put out a Britney Spears or whoever to seduce the kids but maybe I'm not paying enough attention but even that seems to have gone away.  Now modern music is just noise that comes and goes.

But G'n'R have been embodying the 'alternate universe' which I have been suspecting the left is trying to impose on the world, most notably in the upcoming Marvel movies.  Axl was a psychopath who never did that much (leaving aside the quality of what he did do.)  The others were just musicians who wanted to make music so much that they even showed up to concerts on time no matter how many drugs were in their system.

Axl took over the band and the others left.  Decades later, they came back as employees.  To the rulers, it probably didn't matter if G'n'R was ever popular again or if they ever turned out any more music, they wanted to condition their industry and everybody else to going along with that sort of approach.

It's just the beginning of a thought but I wanted to make a note of it.

Aftermath

Somehow the vaccinated are protected from the virus but not protected from the unvaccinated.  This is being pushed on them by their masters as an excuse to attack the unvaccinated and anyone else they want to attack.

This is training somehow but for what?  Is this trying to create an alternate version?  That would explain the military training and Hollywood support.

And just for the record, the French Revolution should get a little more attention as it was the first wide-spread assault by leftism in the modern sense of a nation.  It had been building up for a long time - look into that as well - and immediately followed the American Revolution, a typical example of leftism to follow successful people as a reason to seize power and make everyone slaves with claims to support freedom.

I'm still working out what to do next.  I've spent the weekend getting together reprints of my books, a collection of humor, Rococo Coffee which is already on sale on Amazon, and a completely reorganized collection of the entire series, everything in chronological order.  I've given up on trying to edit for the time being and for whatever reason, Microsoft Word does not treat page numbers well so I wound up just deleting all of them for Amazon, but who cares, the point is to get a printed version of the entire work.  Everything I've published up through July of this year and some things I haven't published.

Not sure what to do with the remaining material.  There's about half a book's worth of stuff written since July, should I just leave the second half blank so I can use it later if the power dies?  That is seriously tempting.  And what the hell, why not work on it now?

Ideally I would like to think that this is the sort of thing LTC Miller and men like him planned for over the last fifteen or twenty years to see the bad people rip each other apart and leave the rest of us reasonably free.  Pretty safe to say I'm just deluding myself because I have nowhere else to look for optimism.

For that matter, there's reason to worry that there will be similarity to Germany around 1920.  I can't think of a specific precedent for wanting to punish "Let's go, Brandon" as hatespeech but that's the sort of thing they'd do.

Just a note, I did put Ghostbusters on today, the original.  Haven't seen it in years.  Didn't watch it that much today but I did remember all of it.  What struck me most was that the plot was quite good, building naturally from the opening through the finale.  I think there was one small detail that stuck out as being questionable but I can't remember it.

I will say Sigourney Weaver was great but Dana really doesn't make much sense.  It's natural that she'd be scared by ghosts and look to people whose job it is to do something about it, but Bill Murray comes off as totally creepy and it's still not believable that he'd be fixated on Dana.  By the second time he's met her, he's already become famous so he's getting all the chicks he wants, but he somehow stops by to watch her orchestra practice???  And she goes along with it and agrees to see him again?  The most believable part of that is that she would actually go for a famous guy even if he is a stalker but that's not really a Dana we'd like to know better.

The rest of the cast was fun as always.  I always liked Winston's lack of believability in ghosts as a reaction to the others on the team but I was surprised to realize he didn't really do anything to the movie except add a couple more jokes.  No wonder Eddie Murphy turned the part down.

But it was fun to see the wackos again all the way up through saving the day.  Annie Potts was wonderful as Janine, she contributed almost nothing to the story either but you don't even notice because she's so much fun, I'd seen the movie many times before I realized that.  The Ghostbusters can't work without Janine and she can't work because it's her breaktime.  And Rick Moranis gets to be Rick Moranis, a very likable loon.

Then there's the main trio.  They do show enough personality to be more than one-dimensional but they're about driving the story as a whole so it's really about them as characters.  They're the stars so obviously they're always present but other than Dana with Mister Doctor Venkman, there's no character arc, there's not much detail about any of them as people, what you see is what you get.  That's fine, it's their job, it's all we need.

But the plot starts from a ghost at the library to the geeky scientists investigating and, after being fired, going into business for themselves.  That goes nowhere until something finally happens, then they get busy and build up to the climax.  It keeps moving up level after level, echoed by them going to Dana's apartment to find Gozer.

It works very well and one of the reasons this became an instant classic, building off the late-70s Saturday Night Live/National Lampoon mindset.  I am assuming they were aimed at leftism with a pop culture mask but at this point I just assume that about 'most anything.  Haven't decided if I'll see the new movie but I'll definitely be thinking about it.

This isn't an original idea but they are working for demons or devils or some creator existing higher than human who can actually think in long-range.  I think it's effectively 'mother earth' but at our level, it's probably not that different from saying "Satan" or whoever.

There are more articles I've looked at about the latest 'critical racism' nonsense, it's obviously a way to make stupid leftists obey while ignoring that they focus on skin color above all.  There are teachers who flat-out admit that it's a lie to say schools aren't pushing this into your kids.

I guess the point - which I'll probably look into later - is that it's not the specific information, it's the approach taken.

Obviously they know how to handle leftists.  I'm wondering how much of leftism is derived from some aspect of Islam, trying to copy God and pretend he doesn't exist.  And that would line up with the belief in global warming.  Even when I had a memory, I didn't focus enough on Islam to see all the aspects of the religion, the different variations of it, how individual men worked in it, etc. so I don't have anywhere to go with this questioning, but it is on my mind.  Regardless, Muslims know who they work for and how to use those who don't.

There's a point about discursion being the better part of valor.  They had to pretend they accepted a loss - waiting until this morning to realize they couldn't send in enough fake votes to win - or it would be too obvious, even to them.  It's not like they'll ever get far enough to suggest that maybe they could have found a better candidate.  I wasn't paying close enough attention to recall anything but he was going out of his way to how little he was interested in the people he wanted to be in charge of.

There's another Ghostbusters preview, more like an actual movie this time.  Egon and Janine apparently had kids and grandkids.  Egon is dead of course, but decedents find the old toys and ghosts show up afterwards.  It looks less interesting although it's amusing enough to see the Ghostbusters 'universe' again.  The last part of the clip has a phone ringing and it's obviously Dan Ackroyd answering.

I have to admit, there's something nice about seeing this again, even if it's obviously the walking dead.

The only thing that can save us now is a cup of Rococo Coffee! Too bad I made that stuff up.

An election in Virginia today.  I haven't checked but I assume the Democrat has stolen it.  He really wasn't trying to convince anybody to vote for him.  That wasn't his job, he's entitled to win.  It's sort of like how people who recite 'global warming' nonsense find themselves entitled to drive everywhere and fly planes everywhere.  I'm starting to theorize that this is really where modern leftism came from.

There's a level where the leader is important but I think leftists tend to avoid that level and focus entirely on the leader for the wrong reasons.  They want to destroy the US so if Biden shows them doing it.  As always, there are multiple levels, more than we can count, where Biden is obeying whatever they command, but I do have to wonder if this focus on leadership is the overall goal.

There's also a perspective where failure itself is the goal.  They don't have to actually believe in what they claim, they just have to pretend to believe it for others.  It would still be ambivalent if they're showing off for their peers or if it's just something to force on the serfs.  But failure is the goal, taking everything down.  Is it a level of mass suicide or do they really believe that they'll keep their mansions while everyone else lives in caves?

I've said before, I think it's fundamentally opposition to individualism but as individuals, they can't succeed at that.  Which lines up with the idea of 'failure' being their overall goal.

Just a note, there's a trailer for a new Ghostbusters movie.  It's maybe 15 seconds long and doesn't do anything but it actually looks something like Ghostbusters might.  It's just small Mr. Staypuft's playing around in a kitchen and someone points a flashy light at them, burning them down, then the camera moves up to the guy's concerned face.  Ok, it's a cute reminder of the real Mr. Staypuft.

I just did something I thought I'd never do.  Not take a shower, I do that once a year without fail.  I watched TV.

Ok, not actual TV, it was just from a DVD for a show that went off the air over 30 years ago.  I know because it was the final episode.  I was working on the book as always and something made me think of something else which led me to something else which eventually made me think of Newhart.  I think that's a common occurrence, perfectly natural.  Much like the show itself.

So I put on the final episode.  I own the complete series on DVD so obviously I'd watched it before, since the reruns, and of course I saw the final episode when it aired on May 21, 1990.  It's obviously a different world today and that's not a compliment.

One thing I wasn't expecting was that it was immediately grabbing and entertaining.  I do remember most of the characters but the series' final seasons did add more and some were very unfamiliar.  Much of what you needed to know about the characters would only have come from watching earlier episodes, yet it didn't matter for me.  The show is part of my life to a point where I still know what they do and it was far more about the 20+ minute story they were telling this time around.  It just so happened that this was the final episode and they got to have big changes that wouldn't have happened earlier.

I still can't get over it, everybody was really entertaining.  The dialogue was hilarious, the wackiness was just plain fun, the story itself was decent, the ending was definitely a surprise in a good way.  I assumed it was filmed live, how the hell do you keep the audience surprised for that?  And how do you go without them blabbing the surprise long before the episode is aired?

Yes, I will put more episodes in.  I really want to know what the Jazztones are doing these days and just looking up which season it was in, see another couple episodes that are tempting.

Earlier today I had some sort of insight into how this earth-worship was behind basically all the leftist goals.  Of course I don't remember what it was.  Something about how vague the belief was which gave them the excuse for whatever goal they were pushing while permitting them to defy their own rules.  A lot of gas was burned getting these people over to the so-called 'Climate Change Conference' in Scotland and they're fine with that.  It's other people that they want to prevent.

Maybe it was as simple as that, Earth defies God and supports any beliefs to push that on everyone else, God created Adam and Eve (or whatever precedents they have) to show the truth, Earth still refuses to listen.  For the sake of argument, Earth self-identifies as female (which leftists completely agree with, how odd) and she's not going to any time soon.
