□ [“1915 Supreme Court Ruling:  Accepting a Pardon is an 'Admission of Guilt!'"]

After insisting that he wasn't going to pardon Hunter, after pardoning Hunter and not wanting to pardon others, after being asked in 2020 about Trump *considering* preemptive pardons and answering "Well, it concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets in how the rest of the world looks at us as a nation of laws and justice.  You won't see me doing that."  But here he is.

He pardoned Tony Fauci, General Mark Milley and the J6 Select Committee, including Liz Cheney.  He also pardoned a lot of his family members.  Somehow they never committed any crimes, officially, but he's very specific about the dates from which these non-crimes were non-committed that now they can't be prosecuted for.

Hopefully this is just another bad idea from a guy who made his career on them.  A pardon means they can't lie about their crimes so now, in theory, Congress can bring them in and ask specific questions about them.  I'd say start with Hunter but I haven't paid close attention to these people, so maybe there's a better option.  Ask Liz Cheney why she gets a pardon and a Presidential Medal of Freedom the same month.

The family members are probably part of the corruption he's taken part in for 50 years, that's why they needed it.  I'm curious about the date he chose, January 1, 2014.  The most likely guess is their work for Ukraine and Russia.  The next most likely guess is that there's footage of them at P. Diddy parties. You really want to see them raping babies with Hillary and Kamala Harris and say 'at least *he* can't be prosecuted?

□ [“President Trump to Speak at Capital One Arena and Sign Executive Orders in Front of Crowd"]

Really didn't think we'd get this far.  Didn't think we'd get to the election, didn't think Trump could overcome the theft, didn't think they'd let him reach today.  So this is what being wrong feels like.  Maybe I should try that more often.

I did expect him to immediately start signing the executive orders, without even waiting for the celebration to end.  Those have probably already started being implemented.  That's one thing he would obviously do.  The enemy is desperate to take him out, every second could be his last and one thing I will credit Trump for, he knows how to make use of his remaining time.  Still a lot of reasons to not trust him, but just the fact that he's so productive is a major point in his favor.

I guess there were some protests outside, but minimal compared to eight years ago.  Partially it's just because it was so freaking cold, now that they've banned global warming, but the left really doesn't know what to work with.  They aren't winning people over with this so why go out and freeze your trans butt off?  Or why put up with people who will?

Most of the results we won't see, at least not in the short-term.  That's why I hope he has some option for an immediate economic benefit.  He could temporarily cut a tax on gasoline or something, while moves are being made to make that permanent or lower the costs in some other way so we suddenly save a lot of money and it gives transportation and logistics a reason to lower their prices further.

A number of right-wingers are complaining that he shouldn't have bothered with the ceremony, just get to work.  I get that and mostly agree, but it's why I couldn't be a politician.  Collective events like this are needed, it's why there's a ceremony in the first place.  It's like doing a promotion and awards ceremony in a warzone, there's just a reason to waste everyone's time for something they're not interested in when they have better things to do.  At least this was about celebrating a victory.

Now we'll see what's next.  Tech oligarchs were present, as were some Democrats and others that we should worry about.  They might not be here to suck up to Trump, they might be giving him orders.  We don't want to hear about traitors not being prosecuted or deals being made.  We want the enemy physically defeated, which Trump didn't do last time even when he had the chance.  There isn't much time left and we will expect him to actually get things done now.  Not next year.  Not wait for his successor.  His supporters will turn on him if he fails.  I'll just say I expect him to fail just so I can be proven very very wrong about that.

□ [“AOC, Jerry Nadler, Media Falsely Accuses Elon Musk of Making Nazi Salute at Inaugural Rally"]

He's going to sue them for "disinformation" and use their own quotes about spreading lies against them.  If possible, he'll find statements they'd made on PBS and CNN, the media going along with this.  PBS is government-funded and CNN has just lost a big lawsuit for defamation, they really aren't in a situation where this is a good idea, but here they are.

AOC has been very loud and annoying.  Democrats don't have anyone else to send out right now, so they'll let her take the hits.  She also thinks this is a smart thing to do so she'll just keep going.  At least until the lawsuit shows up.

People have already found footage of Obama and Hillary making the exact same 'nazi salute' and nobody was permitted to criticize them for that.  Or maybe it's just Democrats showing where their minds goes first even when it has nothing to do with reality.

I'm guessing PBS and CNN will quickly cave, but it won't help.  If they actually have any viewers, it'll just make them ask 'why am I watching this?'  AOC and the others will probably just ignore this.  They may have to make a public statement to get out of the lawsuit - no idea if that works - but they'll find something else to spread "disinformation" about.  But smarter people will realize this is is no longer a good way to fight.

□ [“Trump Withdraws the US From the Crippling Paris Climate Accord Again"]

Almost better than the actual withdrawal, this is showing these elite globalists that they can't rely on the US.  We've bounced back and forth from this fake accord so they can't make any future decisions that involve us, so who else can they rely on?  Uh-oh...

This was basically a redo of how the European Union got together, as the unelected bureaucrats and rich people got together for meetings no one else paid attention to and then that suddenly became their new government.  But it's even worse here, just because it includes so many more people.  The rulers have also been reinforced in their beliefs that they know best and the peasants must obey, which leaves them in a bad situation now.

I've heard that Trump has already withdrawn us from the WHO as well.  Don't know if it's true but it'll happen any day.  In theory it's possible to support these international organizations but not these, not with their agenda.  Nations should form alliances with their neighbors and those who have the same views, which is generally divided by continents.  The idiocy of thinking 'global' just encourages wanna-be tyrants.  We've seen that with the 'global warming' myth for the last fifty years.

□ [“Nancy Pelosi’s Daughter Attacks Biden Family — ‘Lady McBiden’ Should ‘Put on Big Girl Pants’"]

The fight is still going on.  The fact that Nancy's daughter is doing this is just a bad sign for them.  Nancy's still out of it, so this could be the people around her going out to handle this.  It's a natural urge to defend the weak old people but this is Nancy's problem, not her daughter's.  Hunter Biden was there to take bribes for the old man, not to actually do anything relevant.

Being sexist, I think it's even worse that the daughter is doing this.  Nancy has been high-ranking in the Democratic Party for almost Alexandra's whole life, she doesn't know anything else.  Even Hunter has to deal with drug dealers and whores from the lower ranks, at least anything.  Alexandra just assumes she can do anything so she's probably going out to bully the Biden's just because.  Not that different from Jill, it's the wives and daughters do cause these problems.

But it's not just limited these individuals.  Nancy and Biden have kids, they have people around them, those people have kids.  More co-workers and employees, then there's other party members.  I don't know how willing they are to fight each other, but the people in charge are trying to get there.

They'll keep it hidden as much as possible, but I wonder how much it will be made public.  They don't have much else to do at the moment, but they're also depressed on the loss.  They're also focused on the closest enemies, each other, as we see here with the Bidens and Pelosis.  They'll fight each other and other Democrats will want to overthrow them.  This could be entertaining.

□ [“Trump Says He’ll Declassify JFK, RFK, and MLK Files"]

When?  Because he said that about the JFK files many years ago and that didn't work out so well.  He says it'll be "in the coming days" which isn't very specific.  I get that starting with these files is the big deal, given how long they've been kept hidden, but because it's been that long, I'm not sure how many people are interested anymore.

I don't even know what files I'd pick, but I want him to start a massive amount of declassification.  I mean, anything over 50 years, or even 30, should probably be made public automatically.  Even then, a lot of stuff that's more recent.  As I've said before, I never had higher than a Secret clearance, so I don't remotely know what's involved with the higher levels, but I think too much of this is about keeping elite secrets and nothing more.  That needs to stop.

Well, it probably won't stop, but it can at least be pushed back a ways.  There must be some way to put it, anything without current ramifications, or reasonably-recent.  But for that matter, what evidence do we have that the files still exist or are accurate?  JFK, RFK, MLK, probably, just because as many people as possible would want to know.  But others, stuff that nobody would bother looking in on, that could be burned or edited and nobody would have noticed.  Definitely something to worry about.  How many Biden officials are doing that right now on material they classified to hide their own dirty deed?

□ [“Trump’s First Official Trip as President Will be to Los Angeles"]

No time to waste, he's going straight into enemy territory after putting his stuff in the Oval Office and signing a bunch of documents.  I think he's expected to be there by the end of the week.  Maybe the fires will have finally worn out by then.  Well, it might not matter, there will be security making an advance visit so the places he goes will be reasonably safe.

This is probably where he'll be using the people he just appointed as his Hollywood ambassadors.  No idea what the point of that is, but this would be a good time for it.  Right now California is probably as close to being sane as they've been for the last fifty years or so.  This is probably also a good time to use whatever info they have on P. Diddy parties, Epstein Island visits, and similar goings-on.

I was going to make a snarky comment that Biden couldn't be bothered to visit California, but a check on the internet says he visited on January 7.  Ummmmm, that's the day the fires started.  AYFKM???  There's no way that can't be seen as proof that this was all deliberate, probably about hiding evidence.

Now that might be why Trump in sending in a few celebrities, not so much as "ambassadors" as unofficial agents to impose his orders on the city.  Still don't trust his picks but they know the terrain and the mob-bosses.  This might actually be more useful than I was expecting.  I'd probably say California needs to stop being a state and be reverted back to a territory, but we'll see what's next.

□ [“Schumer Secretly Met With Biden to Drop Out of Race One Hour Before Trump Assassination Attempt"]

It's starting to become clear that they were in on it.  I still say this is why the debate was moved up so early, to show what bad shape Biden was in and get him to drop out.  It's still iffy that the intent was to replace him with Harris, but she was still the most likely option.  But they had plans.  Biden said in early July that it was time to put Trump in the "bullseye."  A few days later, it was reported that Schumer was ready to dump Biden and the media as a whole had turned against him.  Joe Manchin said Democrats would decide Biden's fate on Sunday, i.e. the 13th, the day Trump was supposed to be assassinated.

Looking it up - and showing why it's good that I wrote all this down - the debate failure was on June 27, a Thursday.  The next few days were Democrats realizing how screwed they were.  Even worse, the media realized it too.  The following week was them getting together and trying to agree that Biden needed to be gone immediately.  By the weekend, it was reported that "sh*t would hit the fan on Monday."  This started the following three weeks leading up to Biden being defeated.

I still focus mostly on Nancy Pelosi's perspective.  She gave Biden three weeks, the first two would be nice, then that was it.  Sending Schumer in on the day of Trump's assassination was the endpoint for the 'nice' period.  This is why the Bidens hate her now.  But if anybody could set up this elaborate plan to assassinate someone and replace their with whoever they wanted, it would be members of Congress.

□ [“Trump Preparing ‘Blitz’ of Executive Orders Hours After He is Sworn Into Office"]

This gives a few details of what he's going to do.  Mostly he's focused on stopping the invaders.  That's natural and I support it, but I'm more focused on the economy.  Because it's obvious, there aren't many details on how he'll fight the illegal immigrants.  There's supposed to be raids in big cities, aiming at the most violent.  We'll see if that happens.  He'll also declare the Mexico border a "national emergency" to get access to funds and probably authority which he wouldn't have otherwise.

As a sudden thought, declaring a "national emergency" probably does enact more authority for the chief executive.  I forget his exact words, but Trump did say something to the effect of being a dictator for one day, and this is probably what he meant.  If I'm right, tomorrow could be very interesting, and mostly in a good way.

Anyway, the other details are that he'd cut DEI regulations, probably just on the executive branch and maybe only for the most important parts, i.e. the military.  As for the economy, the only detail I see is that he'll allow drilling for oil offshore and on federal land.  That's good, once again, I'm not criticizing this, but I'd look for more of an immediate benefit.  Something that would bring it home to everyone that things have gotten better.

Otherwise, it just looks like he'll be removing regulations that had been added in the last four years.  I did find a bit more, we will stop funding foreign abortions.  Drug cartels will be treated as foreign terrorists, which probably makes the border situation even more relevant.  There's some changes to federal employment, and he'll remove the security clearances of those who lied about Hunter Biden's laptop.

So now we'll see how much of the federal government can be cut at once and how much can be cut with a minimum of effort.  Maybe I'm just being overly optimistic, but this is where I hope Trump has plans clearly in place.  Even for the left, the suffering should be minimized, although we can certainly dig holes for them to walk into.  But we're about to be hit by more than any of us would expect.  Let's go.  Brandon.

Elizabeth Warren Sends Threatening Letter to People Who Donated to Trump's Inauguration

Do not permit Hammer Time to continue! Is that all right?20250118

DC Comics originally started as two separate companies, National Periodicals [it used multiple names so that's the one I'm going with for convenience] and All-American Comics.  They were closely related, promoting each other's comics and putting their IPs together, at least in the Justice Society comic.  The characters would get together as a team, then split up for their own adventures, usually done by their respective creative teams, and get back together to solve whatever that issue's mystery was.

DC's basic practices were probably formed in this time.  The two companies merged in 1946.  Justice Society was cancelled in 1951 for low sales.  DC had also been establishing its legal policies, most notably suing Fawcett over Captain Marvel, which they claimed was a rip-off of Superman.

The lawsuit had taken place over years.  One court said Captain Marvel was a rip-off but that DC had not protected its own copyright.  Another court said this or that Captain Marvel story might be a rip-off, the character was not.  But by then the business was going bad anyway, so Fawcett settled in 1953.  They didn't lose in court so much as DC had bullied them into surrender by suing them.  Eventually Fawcett would sell all their IPs to DC.

Superheroes had lost interest by then, but a few years later, DC decided to try them again.  It's not clear why they didn't just bring back the Justice Society characters, instead they did a reboot.  They started with the Flash in 1956, then Green Lantern, Hawkman and more corporate IPs.  In 1960, they would reboot the Justice Society as the Justice League.  The company owned their own printer and distributor, so they were leading the industry.  They had built their policies through multiple companies and IPs with lawsuits, so they were ready for the next generation.

The official story is that in 1961, a DC executive was playing golf with Marvel publisher Martin Goodman and told him about the success they were having with Justice League.  When Goodman went back to the office, he told editor Stan Lee to do a rip-off, which is how we got the Fantastic Four and, from there, the whole Marvel Universe.

DC already had some control over Marvel.  In the 1950s, Goodman had tried to start his own distributor, which failed.  So he had moved to the American News distributor, just before they were sued out of business by the Justice Department.  With nowhere else to go, Goodman had to turned to DC's distributor.  DC didn't want its competitor to become too big, so Marvel was limited to eight books a month, a small percentages of the copycat titles they had cranked out before.

As if that wasn't enough, DC had shown how litigious it was, so the usual rip-offs wouldn't work.  But I don't think that explains how copying the Justice League became the Fantastic Four.  It is noted that the early Marvel characters didn't have much in common with the superhero genre.  The Fantastic Four didn't have secret identities or costumes, and little in the way of love interests.  The Hulk was a monster book with the monster as the title character so he needs to win every issue.  Thor was a take on Norse mythology and it would be a while before any of them fought standard supervillains.

Spider-Man was the first new Marvel character who actually fit the standard tropes and he's frikkin' Spider-Man!  The whole point of the character is that he's different from the others!  It's believable that Marvel just didn't want to be sued by the company that owned their distributor, but that doesn't fully explain how you get the Fantastic Four and subsequent titles if you're just doing a rip-off of the Justice League.

I think the discussion with Goodman at the golf course - if that's where it actually happened - was more about the creation of a franchise.  DC was using its influence over another company to do this, either as part of its long-range plans or just to try out a convenient experiment.  They didn't depend on Goodman or owe him anything, so why not give it a try?

Just as this was happening, DC was developing the concept of 'multiverse.'  This was started when the rebooted Flash met the original version in "The Flash of Two Worlds," cover-dated September 1961.  Marvel's first release was cover-dated two months later, so Flash #123 led to Fantastic Four #1.  That can't be a coincidence.

These weren't the only purposes.  I don't know how likely it is, but it's possible the goal for DC was to get more work from Jack Kirby.  The industry didn't have much in the way of stars, but he was one of the biggest.  The Fantastic Four look more like a rip-off of the last title he had done for DC, Challengers of the Unknown.  They were all explorers and adventurers, just put the girl secretary on the team and give them superpowers, there you go.  That was the actual rip-off/inspiration going on.

While working on Challengers, Kirby had tried to move into newspaper strips, where the real buck are, but didn't succeed.  DC editor Jack Schiff had claimed co-creative rights to the strip and they had sued each other.  Kirby lost which is why he couldn't get any work at DC.  So pushing new Marvel books may have been a way for DC to get more work from Kirby, beyond the monster books he was already cranking out.

There's no evidence but my guess is that Schiff was the one playing golf with Martin Goodman.  He was editing Superman and Batman at the time, as well as handling DC's adaptations of movies and tv.  That means he was connected to Hollywood, which provided access to how other companies handle their IPs, as well as the agendas to push them through society.  It might have been someone else and we'll probably never know the truth, so that's what I'm going with.  DC was a big enough company that they didn't just have a bunch of artists, editors and a guy in charge.  They would have people whose job was to plan years in advance with other companies.

So the plan wasn't just about doing a rip-off of Justice League.  It was to set-up a franchise.  Marvel did have superheroes back in the 1940s but only Captain America stood out, and he wouldn't be brought back until the Avengers - the actual Justice League rip-off - was already established.  Submariner would appear as a villain early on and the Human Torch was the main example of Marvel re-booting an old character, as one of the Fantastic Four.  There would also be the Vision but he wouldn't be used until much later on, and most of the other characters stayed buried.

Marvel moved slowly because of the limits set by DC.  As distributor, DC would be able to track Marvel's sales.  Fantastic Four was their only superhero title for almost a year.  Then several more were added, those are the ones I'm looking at here.  After that, Marvel would clearly be a success and moving on a new path, whether influenced by DC or not.  The new characters were added in comics cover-dated around Fall 1962.

The Hulk was established but his series didn't sell and was cancelled after six issues.  But the character was used to expand the franchise, appearing in other titles to develop an interactive 'Marvel universe.'  Thor was showing Kirby's interest in mythology, although he just fought monsters and space aliens.  Ant-Man and Spider-Man were strange examples, showing that something else was going on here.

Ant-Man's first appearance was just after Fantastic Four #1, in a one-shot science fantasy story that made no sense.  A scientist wanted to show how great he was by inventing a shrinking ray which he used to investigate ants.  Seriously.  Stan Lee usually took all the credit but I'd swear he said once or twice that Goodman was the one pushing Ant-Man, who was brought back several months later, just after Amazing Fantasy #15 brought Spider-Man to the world.

Spiders are not insects but otherwise they are bugs, just like ants.  Why were these being pushed at the same time?  Others would soon be used as heroes or villains although they couldn't use The Fly because Kirby had already done that title for Archie Comics.  In one sense, it seems like a basic way to establish IPs, but it does make me wonder if Goodman and the unnamed DC executive had some other plan in mind, like they were at some underground meeting and just told others it was a golf game.

Then there's Spidey.  His use of the standard superhero tropes shows that something else was going on here.  The creation was also strange.  Stan Lee gave Jack Kirby the initial idea.  It's not known how many pages Jack drew of the story but Lee didn't think it worked, so he turned to Steve Ditko who created the character we know today.

But Kirby's story has never been seen by the public.  Reportedly it featured a teenager who lived with his aunt and uncle, had a web-shooting gun and fought an evil scientist who lived just down the block.  Based on the descriptions we've heard, Ditko's version was obviously superior, but why wasn't Kirby's story ever printed?
Marvel wouldn't waste those pages.  Goodman was insistent that he wouldn't buy new material when there was old material he'd already paid the artist for.  Kirby was definitely paid for the work or he'd have made sure to bring that up during his fight with Marvel in the 1970s and 80s.  Marvel's lawyers would want to make sure he can't claim creation of a character he was never paid for.  Kirby's version may not have been what Stan was looking for but they still need to fill up the books every month.

Even after Spider-Man became successful, why wouldn't Marvel just publish this version as a novelty?  Another detail about the character's creation, using Jack Kirby art the fans have never seen before!  Kirby did the cover for Amazing Fantasy #15 because Stan rejected Ditko's version for some reason, but they've repeatedly published Ditko's attempt ever since.

Not sure how much Lee, Kirby or Ditko thought about this, given that they were busy producing a lot of work on a regular basis.  But Martin Goodman would have been paying more attention to the overall product, as would DC.  We also don't know how far in advance they made these plans, or how things changed over time.  But I'm increasingly convinced that the corporate "multiverse" is a specific use of IP and that DC had extensive plans for this through other companies, which they'd been developing since their own founding.

The following is just notes on the first appearances of Marvel characters and the remaining paragraphs of a previous attempt at this article, just so I can keep track of what didn't get used.

Fantastic Four November 61
Ant-Man January 62
Hulk May 62
Thor, Spider-Man August 62
Ant-Man (second appearance) September 62
Iron Man March 63
Nick Fury (WWII) May 63
The Wasp June 63
Dr. Strange July 63
X-Men, Avengers September 63
Nick Fury (modern) December 63
Daredevil April 64

Marvel also has a range of ‘who created what’ arguments.  Stan Lee always gets his name on everything and freely admitted that he demanded credit but was also willing to let others do the work.  This is why Kirby and Ditko could do so much brilliant work.  Unlike Lee, they made comics they’ll be remembered for outside of Marvel.  They took more creative control, most notably Ditko with Spider-Man and Kirby with Fantastic Four and Thor, but they created new characters their own way.
Ditko created the first Doctor Strange story on his own and then brought it in.  Lee never liked writing the character, probably because he was the type who needed some connection to the starting point, even if it was just a conversation and someone else had all the ideas.  Kirby wanted to do war stories so he created Nick Fury, who was also useful as an older man who still had adventures in the modern day.  Daredevil is the only major Marvel character not co-credited to Kirby or Ditko and shows that on his own, Stan could only create someone who wouldn’t be interesting for a couple decades.
The X-Men were minor characters that just seem to have been a need to create yet-another title, so just give them all superpowers for the same reason.  Kirby would quickly leave the title but he had started developing ideas he would build on later in his career.  Iron Man stands out as having the least contribution by Lee or Kirby, the only major character with others co-credited creators.  After giving Ant-Man a girl sidekick, Marvel could finally get the Justice League rip-off they’d been aiming for all along.
The multiverse was a way to use corporate intellectual property.  Both Marvel and DC would exploit this in many ways for decades.  In the late-70s, they were finally able to work together on crossovers, until Marvel’s editor-in-chief Jim Shooter ruined that as they planned for Avengers/Justice League.  Twenty years later, the companies started working together again and would finally make that happen.  Then they split up again.  They’re still separate but both companies are pushing the multiverse yet-again.
They’ve worked on this for a long time, arguably since “Flash of Two Worlds.”  The audience has a certain view of multiverses, then get tired of them and move on to something else.  The corporations have a different view.  They can connect with each other to exploit their decades-old intellectual property.  They plan this in private, at golf games or wherever the elites get together, and everyone else is expected to pay for it.

□ [“Jury Finds CNN 'Committed Defamation Against Navy Vet Zachary Young' – Owes $5 Million in Emotional and Financial Damages"]

Big media is suddenly being hit hard in a number of ways.  For CNN, the $5 million is just for the damages, it's not counting the actual punishment.  In 2021, they reported that this guy was profitably trafficking these people out of Afghanistan before the Taliban took over.  They had no facts to work with and their internal discussion shows that they knew it, yet they reported on him anyway.  CNN is claiming that they're broke, they've lost hundreds of millions of dollars over the last few years from their own broadcasting.  We'll see if that helps.

CBS is being sued by Trump for $10 billion and is considering settling.  They blatantly altered an interview with Kamala Harris on 60 Minutes and called that "journalism."  You'd think they could argue that she'd have won the election if they didn't do that, but apparently that's not an option.  The leftist Washington Post newspaper is bleeding readers.  Basically leftist media in general has demonstrated how untrustworthy they are and the audience has left.

So it's probably not a surprise that the New York Times, of all media, is doing articles about how the Biden administration covered up Biden's senility.  Not sure if they're mentioning how they and all the rest of the media helped out, but it's almost amusing how they suddenly realize that they don't look good for all the years of doing this.  But yeah, it's all Biden's fault and the people around him.  They did everything.  Just ignore all their own articles about how rightwingers used misleading video to make Biden look bad.

The timing is definitely not a coincidence, but it is still amazing that this is all happening now.  The same media also pushed the fake virus, the war, the wonderful economy and all the brand-new genders, but that still wasn't enough to win them a new audience.  We're watching this right in front of us and it's still hard to believe this is happening.

□ [“Many Washington DC Roads and Metro Subway Stations to Close During Inauguration"]

Not sure this has anything to do with the inauguration itself, it may be based on what the left will do.  Or what Trump will do, for that matter.  Less than 48 hours to go.

I'm not happy with it but this is probably a sign that we're good American letting Biden and these tyrants just leave.  We'll see what happens after that, but at least at the moment, the public impression is for a peaceful transition of power.  Then everything will break lose.

Trump will be going after illegal immigrants immediately.  They probably have the documents ready for him to sign and he'll probably do that immediately.  I mean while he's giving a speech after being sworn in, he'll probably be signing the papers as he does it.  I wouldn't think he'd have to return to the Oval Office for this.

We don't know what he'll do, but other executive orders will need to be about the national debt.  Apparently we'll reach the debt ceiling on Tuesday so there must be plans in place for that.  Not sure what Congress can do with a bare-majority of votes, assuming all the Republicans go along.  Then there's all the foreign and domestic enemies who will strike.

That's nice to hear.  The left does tend to have bad reactions to losing, they don't know what to do.  They thought they'd stay winning.  Now some of these people could be dangerous with whatever knowledge they take out with them, but I would hope Trump+ will be tracking them and changing everything they can to make sure their info is as out-of-date as possible.  As I said, there is some danger, but I don't think these people would be too much of a danger.  If nothing else, who's going to follow their orders when they're out of office?

□ [“Neil Gaiman Dropped By Publishers After New York Magazine Expose"]

They're not dropping him, they just say there's no plans to publish anything new.  I only come from the comic book side of things so for me, it's mostly the fact that DC isn't giving up Sandman.  They've owned 100% of it since day one and it's been too big a seller.  Don't know if they got anything out of their attempt to start a franchise.  I also pay no attention to the tv show so I have no idea if that's still going on.  With Marvel, I'm just amused (in a sad way) that there's yet another delay for Miracleman, and it's already been 30 frickin years.

But the story is getting more attention.  Noted comics creator Scott McCloud ["Understanding Comics"] just posted that his long-time friendship with Gaiman was over from these accusations.  No word from people like Alan Moore or Frank Miller.  I did notice that Mark Evanier ["Groo"] had suddenly stopped posting on his website.  It might be because he's helping "my pal Neil" (the phrase he always uses for reference) but he's a leftist in Hollywood so he might be handling the fire or Trump.  Still interesting timing for all of this.

Most comic book news is still ignoring this, but commenters on youtube have said that the industry knew about this for years.  And nobody said anything?  To an extent that's believable but there's also a point where I have to ask what they're thinking of, especially after the last several years.  Gaiman hasn't done comics for years so it's not like protecting his reputation is that relevant, and this was going on before the internet.

There's been another revelation which, if true, is very disturbing in a creative sense.  But it also sounds like something that there's no way to have kept secret for 30+ years.  Sandman is what his fame is based on and reportedly he basically stole the concept from British writer Tanith Lee and her Tales of the Flat Earth novels.  I had never heard of her but she had a long career that must have been fairly successful, and nobody noticed this before?  Nobody mentioned it?

Looking up the wikipedia page, ok, this is less of a scandal than it seems.  Some of the basics are there, Dream and several of the Endless.  Gaiman didn't even bother to change the names.  That said, he clearly stole the basic idea but moving beyond that took his version in different directions.  Maybe he stole other stuff from different people, but that's a different issue.  Stealing the basic characters and not even renaming them, that's one thing.  Not giving Lee any credit whatsoever for all these decades is much more offensive.  Apparently her career ended and she died in 2015, so he can't even make up for it now.  He's kept silent about it this long, just as he's kept silent on other things, so that's probably not going to change.

Of all the news, that was the part that bothered me the most.  I'm fine with the theft but the lack of gratitude is wrong.  Anyway, more people are speaking out about the accusations and I think this is just the start.  Gaiman himself isn't the main target, it's all the other rich and famous people he's been connected to for so long.  They're the ones in utter panic at this point and we'll see how they react in a few days.

□ [“Stephen Colbert is Sad Biden is Leaving Office, Says Trump Might Pull Him Off the Air"]

We can't vote for him again, stop giving us reasons to!

This self-obsession is one thing which distinguishes the left.  Even though I use the terms "right" and "left," I am opposed to them, I think "center" and "edge" would be more accurate.  People in the "center" simply wouldn't think this way.  Trump didn't take you off the air last time so unless you've been molesting children or going to P. Diddy parties, there's nothing to worry about.  Yet for some reason this celebrity is worried about what will happen to him!

They all think someone is *GOING AFTER THEM!!!*  Very few people pay any attention to them whatsoever and even fewer watch their tv shows or whatever they do.  Yet somehow they're the target, Trump thinks about them every waking moment.  That's projecting their own obsessions on to someone they don't like.  They might even think that everyone else is exactly like them so they'll be targets too.  That's just not how being a mentally healthy person works.

It might be about trying to keep their ever-shrinking audience scared, at least partially, but I don't see how that's important.  They appear to be thinking more about Trump than about the viewers and the whole reason they're in this mess is because they *thought* they knew how everyone would obey them, at least all the *good* people would.

I think this is a fundamental aspect of the collectivist mind, although I don't have a clue how it works.  It might be the cause or just an aspect.  But it lets them focus on the wrong things no matter what else is going on.  I might be describing or defining it the wrong way, but this does seem to be a basic description of what's wrong with these people.  On the bright side, it makes them less competent as an enemy than they think they are, which they'll learn when the battle starts for real.

□ [“Queen - If it was recorded in 50s"]

I don't know who's responsible for this, if it's some big companies funding cover versions or just people with access to the most up-to-date A.I. programming, but there's been a recent increase in cover songs and remakes of movies, deliberately changing the style.  For the most part it's about redoing music or movies in an older style, although the original material may have been done before the style being used.

I don't pay much attention to these but I will admit to having spent some time on them.  It really is fascinating how complete they are.  I mostly ignore the movie tracks, they're too long or just too uninteresting.  So far they haven't gotten into anything I might be genuinely interested in, but my interest in film-in-general is quite low.  I might see a Star Wars video but even then it might not look interesting.  Just today I saw someone had apparently remade the entire One True Trilogy in a 1950's style, I looked at about ten seconds of it and that was it.  Still, it's mindboggling that this is capable of being produced in full.

I'm trying to avoid listening to the remakes of music but there is more there that will grab me.  Queen is my favorite band so I saw this video and didn't hesitate.  It was... interesting.  It really does sound like a complete band playing with full instrumentation and extra vocals as needed.  Experts in music can probably hear that it's not a real band but it's not far off, which is almost scary to contemplate.

The real problem is that it's not an actual remake of the song.  The music has little to do with the original.  If there were no vocals, you wouldn't think of Queen in the slightest.  That goes for other tracks I've heard.  Someone has remade the Beatles' complete Rubber Soul and Revolver as albums from Motown.  The Beatles version was instantly catchy, these aren't.  But how much better does the A.I. need to be before it can actually remake them for real?

Someone else had done Revolver as an 80s hard rock album and that one was genuinely enjoyable.  "Yellow Submarine" stood out for quality, it probably sounded better than a lot of demos from bands that got signed to big companies.  It's probably a good thing that A.I. isn't publicly available (as far as I know) or I'd be seeing what I could do with it.

I have looked into some of the online versions to see what could be done with art, specifically comics.  Unfortunately I haven't seen a way to actually handle the layouts so the computer makes up its own, and the art is too detailed and unrealistic.  I would be ordering it to look like a given artist from before the 90s, that's not an option.  Yet.

Creatively there seems to be some great potential, but we said that about the internet a couple decades ago and look how that worked out.  If anything, this looks like a distraction, because a lot of people will be using A.I. against the rest of us and we're just trying to remake the Breakfast Club with certain porn stars.  Or, you know, whatever you might be into.

Self-Deportations Already Underway as Fear of What Trump Is About to Do Sets In

□ [“The Atlantic:  ‘Selfish’ Joe Biden ‘Destroyed His Legacy’ — ‘Failed Spectacularly’ at Saving Democracy"]

Leftists are starting to realize how bad they've made things for themselves.  We can really only see that with the media, and anecdotally from liberals we may associate with, but it's happening all across the board.  The media thinks they have their own respective company masters and, pretending for the sake of argument that's true, they're all reacting in different ways.

They are finally admitting that Biden has serious problems, but they're not acknowledging how far back those go.  He was never the brightest bulb on the, you know, the thingy where you plug in lights and push buttons and stuff, but he had clearly gotten worse in the four years after being veep.  I go back and forth on whether he really wanted to run for POTUS in that condition or if the party (and Jill) forced him to do it.  But then the elections were stolen and pretending to hold the highest office in the land made him quickly get worse.

And the media still isn't acknowledging that they covered it all up.  On his rare public appearances, it was obvious that he wasn't even capable of pretending to be competent.  Go look at videos of Joe from two or three decades ago, he still wasn't capable of being POTUS but he could at least present himself as a successful politician.  I'm worried that Trump has started going downhill too but he's still energetic and does enough public appearances that it would be easy to put together clips of whatever goofs he makes.

Biden's masters and pet media wouldn't let that happen to him.  They had to convince the peasants that everything was fine, so they knew what they were hiding.  And now that it's starting to come out, they have to find a way to justify themselves.  We saw this when Democrats were so happy last July when Biden finally dropped out of the race, but few of them could even admit it.  That's the mentality their side has to deal with and just repeating how wonderful everything is doesn't really help.  So now who do they have to turn to?

They're not giving much explanation, so maybe they're lazy, maybe they hate Trump, maybe they can't be involved in federal affairs for some reason.  Or maybe something is expected to happen on Monday and they don't want to be on-site when it goes down.

Still unclear what, if anything, will happen.  This is the last real chance the elite have to take Trump out.  Not literally, but he'll have much more protection and power afterwards.  In a technical sense, I assume he has full Secret Service protection now, probably access to what he would need as POTUS.  Can't sign bills or order the military, stuff like that, but I would think he's essentially moved in.

Don't know if it's true because the media is so untrustworthy, but I've heard that China actually thought Trump would lose.  Maybe that's false, that they actually supported him.  Gotta admit, not sure how they could have lost if they had the last four years to reinforce their control.  But it does indicate that something is going to happen.  This isn't even close to over yet.

□ [“1,500 Congressional Staffers Beg House and Senate Leadership for a Shortened Work Week"]

Another snapshot of how leftists work.  First of all, they're just lazy.  It's oh so hard to do the job they're hired for, so they need to do less of it but get paid just as much.  Of course they'll be entitled to raises and promotions too.  Second of all, it's a way to bring in more of their own kind, since you'll need to hire more employees to do the same amount of work.  They're demanding reinforcements who also believe in global warming, dozens of genders and DEI.

Third, notice the timing of this demand, they're doing it right before Trump takes over.  That's probably the main reason for this, because they know they'll be rejected which will (supposedly) give them more reasons to resist Trump and everybody who works for him.  Not really sure that will play out as they expect because they're the minority and the whole point of the job is to work for the guy who was elected by the majority.  The same thing applies to Congress.  If the ruling party wants to reduce government employees, they're just handing over another reason.

Unless there's an actual plan for resistance, and I'd give that a 50-50 chance, this is just another example of the left showing how idiotic their plans are.  How do they *ever* manage to seize power with this sort of approach?  We see that with the media having recent problems in court and finally admitting that things weren't perfect about the elections, but this is just these congressional staffers setting themselves up for a fall.

□ [“Pelosi to Skip Trump’s Inauguration"]

I don't think she's just doing it to be rude.  I'm sure that's part of it but it's not all.  There's also the fact that she's extremely weak and probably can't move that much.  Other than an appearance to certify that Trump won the election, I don't think she's been seen in public since she drunkenly fell down the stairs.  I can understand not having anything left to prove but then why is she still in Congress if she can just give people orders in private?

Which leads to might be the main reason she's not attending.  At noon on Monday, Trump will have all the legal and military authority he needs for whatever plans he's been making all these years.  He'll also have high-level security and agents following his orders.  I hope they're going to immediately start moving on the human traffickers and their operatives, everybody who works for them at every level.  That would include government officials.

Michelle Obama isn't attending either.  There may be a connection.  Maybe you can't join the uniparty if you're not part of the cult, and a lot of people have joined.  There's also the bizarre need to treat every woman like a goddess, so they have to compete with each other for that.  Still just a theory, but if I'm right and Trump really did have a 12 year plan to start as POTUS in 2017, this may be where he intended to eradicate as many of the enemy as possible, and they spent the last four years lining up as a target.  No wonder Nancy and Michelle don't want to be around.

They're moving to town and it's traditional for the outgoing veep to show the incoming residents where they'll be living, but Harris won't let them in.  That shows how caring and helpful she is.  No wonder liberals liked her, or at least pretended to.  It looks like most people have started ignoring her too.  She doesn't need to look good, it's not like she has any future plans.

But it sounds like she'll be bringing in money somehow.  Haven't heard anything about an investigation of her finances.  She magically got $20 million for a book she won't even read.  In early December, the DNC was even worried because people got so much money from her campaign, that they were obviously scamming it, which means keeping the money from the donors.  That's bad, but it seems to have gone away.

There's not as much going on as I might have expected.  The right isn't celebrating or getting ready to take over, the left has stopped promising to kill themselves.  Something is going on but it's not clear what and we're all pretty tired of this.  This is where I get worried that, whether by bribe or threat, Trump is actually working for the rulers.  Or maybe he wants to look like he is and it's all a trick.  There's no way to know, it's all a guess, that's the high level they're working at.

□ [“Trump Says He Has No Interest in Hiring Anyone Who Worked for Koch, Bolton, Pence, the Cheneys, Haley, Ryan, Romney, or Milley"]

Interesting.  If true, a good start.  The fact that I have to say "if true" shows how unreliable the news is these days, but anyway, there should be a lot more people on this list.  More importantly, they should be made public, that this person worked for Liz Cheney or whoever and that's why they can't be hired by the government.  I don't know if there's any precedence for this sort of thing and it might be used badly, but it's a way of listing who the enemy is.

I keep saying this but one of the most infuriating things about WWIII is that we're never given any sense of who's on our side or even what the sides are.  Either these people are responsible for the evil cults running the world or they're tools by those cults to lead us to this point.  Whether or not the "deep state" is a separate group doesn't matter, they're part of it too.

So what will the government officials do about this?  There must be some options, particularly in blue states and cities, but what can they really do?  The high-ranking people on the list - or the ones who should be but aren't - can call China or Antifa or BLM to use as thugs.  I still assume these people have plans and have only a few days left to prepare.

□ [“Trump Taps Jon Voight, Mel Gibson, and Sylvester Stallone as Ambassadors to Usher in a New ‘Golden Age of Hollywood’"]

But then Trump says or does something that makes you wonder what he's been smoking.  Hollywood needs to be burned to the ground and even if you were going to pick any "ambassadors," basically anybody famous should be off the list.  I know some celebrities are less left-wing than others but frankly I don't trust any of them.

And what are they supposed to do?  To an extent, Hollywood itself is already an anachronism and that's only going to grow.  At one point, you could see studios finding it convenient to be in the same place where they could utilize the same cast and crews and all the companies needed to supply what they were doing, but a lot of that could just be done on a cellphone now.  Use a laptop if you want to get really complicated.

To the extent Hollywood still exists or is needed, why would the government be involved?  Trump is supposed to reduce what they're doing, not expand like this.  It just comes off as a hoax or a waste of time and money.  Every time Trump does something that looks like a great idea, he does something like this.

□ [“Neil Gaiman's Journal: "Breaking the Silence"]

He posted this yesterday, around the same time as the New York article posted.  Gee, that doesn't seem deliberately timed.  The media has to work together on these things.  Not having mentioned this scandal ever before, so far as I know, the New York Times immediately followed Gaiman's post with a report on his post.  Not sure if it's intentional that these media and Gaiman are all in New York, but interesting coincidence.  His wikipedia page already includes his response, the same page which said for years that he was in an "open marriage."

Gaiman's statement is bland and self-pitying.  Also contradictory, or at least missing some major details.  He doesn't specify which accusations are true and which are lies, but he said he'd kept quiet out of respect for the people that he says were lying about him.  That's not a way to combat false accusations.  He points out that the sexual relationships continued for quite a while, which the accusers confirm and doesn't make them look good, but Gaiman doesn't mention why, years later, he gave them large chunks of money in exchange for signing an NDA.  You don't need to do that with people you had happy consensual relations with.

He also says he was "emotionally unavailable while being sexually available" and focused on himself.  Besides just sounding creepy, this is now you get to abuse people sexually.  Try being intellectually available for a change.  The rest of his statement is about how he's growing up, trying to do better, because he cares so much.

This contradicts a tweet he made on September 28, 2016, about how "Men must not close our eyes and minds to what happens to women in this world.  We must fight, alongside them, for them to be believed," even as by his own admission, he wasn't doing that for the women in his life and we absolutely should not believe those making accusations against him.  But other women should be believed, yes indeedy.

He does not say, and as far as I know has never said, anything about other men being falsely accused the way he claims he's been.  But they aren't rich and famous like he is, nor are they protected by large corporations.  He's also a liberal, so the rules don't apply to them.

That said, from what we've seen, the accusers really don't come off as any better than Gaiman.  If they were so abused, why did they keep coming back?  I have a possible answer for that but I'm sexist.  If you want women to be treated equally to men, then they need to explain why they're putting up with this abuse and didn't call the cops or just leave.  They took the time and effort to connect to him, it's not like he's chasing them down to have his way with them.

We all have problems in our lives, but Gaiman and his kind live in a world where the elites and the peasants are just broken, mentally and spiritually.  I haven't even started looking into the Scientology influence.  The women were pathetic enough to worship Gaiman and he was creepy enough to get off on that.  He even paid off some of them, but years later they can come back with accusations.  They'll just get worse from here.

□ [“Trump Announces Deal For Hostages by Hamas — Will Be Released Shortly"]

It makes Trump look good and he can brag about it, that's fine, but the basic deal doesn't sound good.  First of all, there' s too much parallel with the Iranian hostages being released in early 1981.  I was too young to pay attention at the time, but something about it always seemed like we weren't getting the full story, and I'm not saying that as any fan of Jimmy Carter.  I don't believe Reagan just showed up and Iran had to give in, nor do I believe Hamas is doing that with Trump.

Israel still hasn't approved of the deal, but it says they'll release 50 Palestinian prisoners for every Israeli female soldier and 30 for other hostages.  No, unless the philistines have ticking time bombs implanted inside them to go off as soon as they reach their friends and allies, this should not happen.  The release should only be going in one direction.  This would be giving Hamas over a thousand of their troops back and should never be considered.

Unless this is just a starting point and Trump shows the negotiations in public, this will just make him look bad in the long run.  Arab leaders think it's great and even the US State Department was thrilled, saying “When it comes to the involvement of President-elect Trump’s team, it’s been absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line.”  It just sounds like anti-Israel rhetoric using Trump as a mask.

Is he going to be stupid enough to demand reimbursement for this?  Well, this is Hunter Biden, so of course he's going to be stupid enough to do that.  Not sure it'll work with the federal government starting next week, but California is probably already writing checks for him.  He won't even need to prove that these masterpieces ever existed, his word is good enough.  He can't even be prosecuted for fraud.

If he really does go all the way and demand money from the fed, Trump may have people ready to follow him and find out who he's dealing with.  Those people haven't been pardoned so they can be prosecuted for bribes.  But thinking about it, that may be why Hunter is suddenly announcing this now, because it's not like he's eligible for any more bribes.  His father was the only one people needed to go through him to get to and even if Biden was sane and not senile, he's still out of power.  He has nothing to offer that would make his son useful and it's not like Hunter is capable of doing anything on his own.

The sad part - if "sad" is really the right word - is that this is basically it for Hunter, and the rest of his family.  They currently have money and they'll probably get whatever estate Biden leaves, but face it, they only know how to spend.  At least for the time being, they have to pretend to look decent for Dad but that's not going to last much longer, and nobody's going to want them.  They could even reach a point where they need to call the Trump administration for help and will do anything to get it.

The L.A. fires are dropping out of the news.  It looks like they have no hope of putting them out with manpower, so all they can do is wait for them to burn out by themselves.  In the meantime, the rest of us can at least be entertained by articles like this, where the left has to admit their plans have failed, even if they're still getting the overall destruction they crave.

Many people have pointed out over the years that the real goal is to limit the ownership of private vehicles, especially for anybody who's not among the elite.  The peons will have to wait in line for mass transit like the servants they are.  Then something like the fires come along and wipe out any support that notion ever held.

One thing that made the automobile such a wonderful invention was that it provided everyone who had one with freedom to move on their own.  If nothing else, you can go any direction you want with as much gas as there is in the tank.  Spare gas or money to purchase more can get you even further.  Situations like this really remove any interest in sitting around, waiting for the next bus or train to show up.

Newsome and his ilk could never conceive of such a thing by themselves.  Why should they?  They're the sort of people who will always be guaranteed private vehicles.  You need that when travelling thousands of miles to a global warming conference.  But now everyone else can see that they're totally screwed by the same government that made this happen, the same one that wants to make them dependent on everything.

You have to had good sunlight to get your solar power working, the heavy smoke gets in the way of that.  If it takes hours for the electric battery to charge, that's time for the fires to get closer to you.  It's not counting other issues like not being allowed to have guns to protect yourself or printed currency to make immediate purchases or anything else the leftist government wants to control.

Some things are getting started.  The new Congress is open and we'll see if they can live up to their Republican majority.  This is probably the strongest move they could start with.  It's not a full ban of the transgender insanity, but it's as close as they could get.  So of course Democrats oppose it.

But they're going to lose the battle.  Even if by some miracle the Senate doesn't pass the bill, it's still clearly a losing stance.  There's only two genders and you can't switch to another.  This is collectively abusing children to impose this on them.  And now the right-wing has evidence that they're in the majority.  More than anything, that's been the biggest change in our mindset in the last two months.

There's an extremely small minority of people with actual biological problems, but the leftist mentality is to make *them* the normal.  It wasn't that long ago that gays were supposed to just want to live a normal life like everyone else and that sure didn't come to pass.  And yet the left is still obsessed with this.  They've been quiet for the last several months, but they're going to start again soon.

I doubt this will have any effect, I think he's on his last year anyway.  But what this will do is damage his future plans to get more power.  Not sure it's really the case but at least publicly, he was the best option other than Kamala Harris [which is really depressing to think about] and now he's embarrassing himself for incompetence in his own state.

It's even funnier - depending on your sense of humor - what this would look like to other states.  You think liberal bastions like Chicago or New York City are going to say 'we need what this guy brings'?  And if you can't get support there, where else are you going to find it, China?  Wait... Ok, that's one point for Newsom.

At this point, I'm starting to think the fires are totally deliberate and China/Newsom are among the most likely suspects, but this is just destroying Newsom's future.  He's what California leftists have built towards, his family comes from wealth in San Francisco, Nancy Pelosi is tied to him, they just don't seem to have a better option and this is what they're stuck to.  But his career is burning down like the rich people's homes in Los Angeles.

□ [“Hundreds of Veterans and SEALS March in DC to Support Pete Hegseth Before Senate Hearing"]

Not just veterans, these are special forces going in along with the SEALS.  I have no doubt this is a military operation.  No clue what they're going after, but that was never my job when I worked for them.  They are the advanced force, checking the territory, looking for assets and tracking the enemy down.  Hopefully there's more of them operating than just taking part in a march down the street.

There's are some anecdotes from the Senate hearing, slightly amusing but not all that interesting.  Obviously Democrats will do anything they can to stop any Trump nominee but Defense Secretary is the main one.  The military is really where socialism comes the closest to success because they're used to following stupid rules and still getting the job done.  The rank structure is very specific but it is about supporting the group as a whole.  So now the leftists are worried about the purge.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out.  I'm sure the military has policies regarding these things so we'll get to see what happens but it can go many possible directions.  There will be things that can be easily cancelled and others that need to go through endless meetings and practice-tries before it can be made the rule.  But which changes will there be and how will they be applied?

Top-of-my-head guess, but there will be something done very quickly.  The world will need to see that the US is actually a capable force militarily.  Similar to bombing ISIS in 2020, one big hit to show the enemy that they can easily be wiped out.  Trying to think of the most obvious target, probably Iran but that might be too big of a deal.  Or maybe the hit will be kept secret for a while.

□ [“Washington Post’s Traffic is Cratering – Has Fallen by Nearly 90 Percent Since 2021"]

Media is taking some big hits.  They deserve it, but this is still interesting to watch.  We're seeing it from the internet perspective, so there's no clue how much of the audience was just 'bots, but there is a real sense that the genuine viewers have decided to go else where.  So now the media doesn't know what to do.

Meanwhile they're still owned by large corporations that expect a profit.  They pay a lot of money to their screen personalities to promote an agenda.  They can't fix a problem until they acknowledge it and first they have to get through everybody who thinks there are no problems (except Trump or whoever the latest target is.)  Meanwhile the audience continues to decrease.

And we're just looking for fast, easy info on whatever's going on.  We have no clue who or what to trust about anything.  Then there's the fact that any real details about a meaningful topic would take a long time to sift through, requiring us to ignore every other meaningful topic.  We might get some hints, the media that says how great the economy is doing probably doesn't need our money anymore, but there's not a lot to work with.

But as always, the leftist media seems to be taking the biggest hit.  They have to deny reality anyway, so they're the most convenient customers, but they're also perfectly willing to ditch anyone for any reason, even on their own side.  They're all doing much worse than they were the last time Trump was in charge, so do they really think they can do that again?  Not likely and it would be very stupid if they tried.

□ [“Third British Labour MP Breaks Rank to Demand Inquiry Into the Muslim Grooming Gangs"]

It took them long enough.  This news has been public for quite a while now and the Brits who have to live through it have known about it even longer.  More than anything, this just looks like the elites are falling back to the next line of defense, acknowledging a problem and pretending to do something about it.  The childrapists will remain protected and even funded by the government.

This isn't just limited to Britain.  Until proven otherwise, we should assume it's a worldwide endeavor.  At best, the elites that aren't involved have their own ways to do the same thing.  I'm thinking of China, but you can probably name any other country for the same result.  Lower-ranking elites have to find their own victims, but the illegal immigrants and human traffickers are still there to help.

Notice that different parts of this are becoming relevant at the same time.  Along with the British gangs, there's P. Diddy's parties with lots of rich and famous people.  Then there's Neil Gaiman whose abuse of women has suddenly stopped being protected.  All of them are connected with other people and groups, I notice that Scientology seems to be getting attention all of a sudden.  The demon-worshipping cults and the trans activists and all the rest are on the same side.  They're under attack although we still can't perceive how, but they're also at the very top of the social scale.  How many other secrets have they been hiding to exploit their power over the masses?

□ [“The Dark Secrets Behind the Neil Gaiman Abuse Accusations"]

New York Magazine has published this through one of their subdivisions.  This is a mainstream media speaking out and is quite long and detailed.  A little too much so, there are parts where it reads like submitting a screenplay or something.  There is also direct interviews with some of the women making accusations.  No comments from Gaiman or ex-Mrs. Gaiman, but his spokesmen and her close friends do take part in this.

The article really comes off as being a collective female's point of view, proclaiming her/themselves the queen bee.  All the details may be literally true but it seems like they're all ignoring reality as much as possible, which Mrs. Gaiman clearly did through her life until she met Neil.  She was definitely part of the infidelity and he took advantage of that.  He's the rich and famous one so they were both using each other, and everyone else they could get their hands on and dominate.

Beyond that, it's people who have no moral center or guides in their lives.  This is where traditional family values works, as opposed to Gaiman having sex with one of his mistresses while his young son is right there.  But this lack of self-control is probably what helped him meet celebrities early on.  Not sure how his Scientology parents would affect this, but it probably wasn't a good thing.  They have the cult aspects of religion but nothing to actually grow on.

Not sure this is about Gaiman himself, he's just a convenient example.  The system which made him rich and famous has been made by people like this.

□ [“Ellen DeGeneres Spotted in Montecito, California After Vowing to ‘Never Come Back’ to the US After Trump Won"]

A lot of celebrities say things like this.  Do they know from the start that they're lying or do they just change their minds at some point and refuse to accept any consequences?  On the one hand, moving out of the country seems like a lot of work, and they're rich and lazy.  On the other hand, if they actually go to another country, they'll suddenly realize why the land of freedom is an ideal all around the world.  I still haven't seen any evidence that Bono is still alive and he promised suicide if Trump won.

I don't know if DeGeneres still has a career, but then, I never knew why she had one in the first place.  I'm not even sure what she's famous for, she seems like an early example of DEI before that was a thing.  But this isn't going to help.  I think even liberals are getting tired of their rich and famous not even trying to follow the rules they want to impose on everyone else.

The 'global warming' movement is definitely running out of gas.  You can rape children and not pay taxes, but if you really believe this stuff kills the earth, maybe you should stop doing it.  But the elites won't, that's why they're elites.  That's why they can't stop doing this, they have to keep doing this, so that's damaging their own side even more.

That's so convincing.  The FBI has proven how trustworthy they are.  It's like they're putting out a message that *something* is going to happen and they're part of it.  We're now under a week to go, we'll see what they're coming up with next.

If I had to guess, I don't think anything will happen.  I've heard Trump's inauguration will be very minimalized, no big parades or anything like that.  That makes sense, no point being a target.  He also probably just wants to get to work, which is of course what the enemy does not want him to do.  They've spent the last few months setting up booby-traps.

□ [“Confirmation Hearing For Trump’s VA Sec. Nominee Postponed; FBI Slow-Rolls Background Check"]

The 'deep state' bureaucrats are working as much as they can to stop him.  Well, at least to the extent they ever do actual work, but you get my point.  I'm blanking on which government agency it was, but I've heard Trump and his secretary had basically ordered everybody to resign by 12:01PM on Inauguration Day.  I didn't pay close attention, so I'm not sure if that's literally everybody in the agency, but that would indicate that they're ready to move in.

This is a conflict where I think Trump's side is basically guaranteed to win, but they will be fighting against the Uniparty government employees every step of the way.  Trump and co. know how things work.  The enemy may be locked in place, but there's not much they can do to defend themselves.  Might take a while, but they can be drilled out of the system.  The question is what will be left behind, or if we need anything left behind.

□ [“California Democrats Agree to Give Newsom $50 Million to ‘Fight Trump’"]

How many fires does this help put out?  Is there any relevance to these fires or is asking the question enough to provide an answer?  They were only supposed to go for $25 million but apparently California has lots of money to waste, so they've doubled that.  Shows how important these fires are to anybody who matters.

Since anybody not directly involved is losing interest in these fires, we're getting conspiracy theories about them.  They were deliberate, probably intended to eliminate evidence from being at Diddy parties.  China is preparing to buy all the land, and/or the government just wants to take it to prepare for the 2028 Olympics.  Even Iran is offering to help because they have nothing better to do these days.  These could all be true, or some other reason.  What we're really seeing is government incompetence and how central that is to California's existence.

There's no evidence, but I could even make an argument that Trump+ set this fire deliberately, precisely to demonstrate how leftism works.  Or to hide evidence of his attending P. Diddy parties, but probably the former.  It would be hitting the leftist nation in their capitol city and showing how incompetent they are to protect their own elites.

We're also seeing how they led to this, step by step.  There's the 'global warming' myth which let them ignore the potential for forest fires.  There's the DEI hires running the fire department who have no interest in stopping fires, and even less ability to do so.  There's the city officials that appointed them, and the state officials they work for, and the federal regulators they suck up to.  You could make a novel or a movie out of this and it would just seem unrealistic, even when it's happening for real right in front of us.

Cut him some slack, he has to go on television!  That's very important and it helps a lot of people!  Just think of how many fires he's stopped by getting to be on television.  What do you expect from him, to go out fighting fires or something like some kind of loser?

Californians are starting to come out that Newsom and the L.A. mayor need to be removed, they aren't competent or helpful.  Should have known that when you voted for them.  Newsome keeps getting re-elected and the chick was sent to Congress five times before becoming the mayor.  They've always been all about the *woke* agenda, why is that only now a problem?

To an extent, there's just the fact that nothing else is happening, this has just become a daily part of life, kinda like the unidentified drones flying around the country.  Remember when those were a big deal, but the liberal government obviously did something and we never heard about them again.  So the leaders of California are trying to use that, and everybody else is just living their lives.

Other than attacking Democrats, they're all going their normal ways.  They blame global warming, they try to get other people's money, demanding higher taxes or donations.  They ignore the looters and keep the citizenry on lockdown.  I'd like to think even California has had enough of this, but they're probably too far gone to recover.  But soon the land might be clean and empty, so we can rebuild something worthwhile.

Well he's been travelling around the world for years demanding money and getting it, that's probably a good explanation.  He tells Joe Biden 'we'll release the documents you and Hunter signed if you don't give us money' and Biden keeps giving him more money.  It is strange that Russia hasn't done that, so far as we know, because they dealt with the Bidens too, and probably have copies of Ukraine's files.

As always, the war is at a point where Russia is just playing with Ukraine like a cat.  They keep taking more territory, Ukraine's draft doesn't seem to be working and they haven't been able to use the western weapons and equipment for anything worthwhile.  Even Ukraine supporters are starting to realize that they have no chance of winning and surrender is their only chance of survival.  If Russia wants you dead, they'd have already done that, but if you keep fighting, you'll be dead before the war ends.

But the leftist Ukrainian supporters, and Ukraine's rulers, still aren't going to accept that.  They'll be the last to die for this war, at least as far as they're concerned.  I also think Russia has been using this strategy to weaken NATO as much as possible, which also seems to be working out.  The US military might be doing better when Trump is in charge, but our side is still very diminished by leftism.

Because of that, Russia has essentially defeated NATO in a war without having a direct declared conflict.  When was the last time that happened before?  I'm sure it did but the public was kept ignorant.  Top of my head, I can't think of any similarity since the post-revolution invasions by various western countries to help defeat the communists.

□ [“U.N. Considering Funding Syrian Militant Group HTS"]

Haven't heard about the War on Terror in a while, probably because our leaders support the other side.  The UN is willing to fund the Islamists who've taken over Syria and the US elites support Islam, just as the infidel should.  I do wonder how many of them have actually converted and kept it a secret, but I suppose it doesn't matter at this point.  Either way, they serve the true masters.

There's also the Jew-hatred around the world, a consistent excuse to unite against the rest of us.  They also need to take attention away from the Pakistani's in Britain who've been raping children for years.  Whether or not our rulers have converted to Islam, they've been into that for a long time.  This may be the main reason they all support illegal immigration and human trafficking, just to keep the new victims coming in.

At a guess, I would say Iran's the one calling the shots, but they're fighting with Saudi Arabia so it might be either.  Or both, given how weird WWIII is going.  Or maybe it's just this chunk of the Middle East is new and gets all the attention from the elites.  This region isn't great at forming nations, but they've definitely been able to seize power and influence, so they look like they're at the top of the global ladder.  In one sense, that seems quite dangerous, but in another sense, given who they're siding with, they might fall apart very easily.

Leftist Canadian Leader Threatens Trump:  “If You Think You Can Pick a Fight with Us, There Will Be a Price to Pay!”
January 12, 2025

It's taken 30 years, but I have finally been able to read the new Miracleman comic book.  It's not that new, the issues came out last year or so, but I haven't bought any new comics for a while.  This one is by Neil Gaiman so we'll see what that leads to.  There are some iffy spots, but in general it's ok.

One thing I found myself enjoying was how it does take place in a superhero universe, but it has very little to do with that.  The only fight scene is between two unknown minor characters in the beginning of the first issue.  Otherwise the characters spend their time just going around and talking.

I've certainly missed seeing a comic like that, although it's not entirely a good thing.  There isn't a lot of story in-and-of itself.  It's possible there is a build-up to the next book, assuming that ever comes out, but there isn't a lot of interest put into Young Miracleman, reborn after dying before the modern series ever started [over 40 years ago!]  And then he suddenly changes direction at the end of the book, it's not clear why or how he went this way or what he really expects to do.

I'm not someone who buys comics for the art, but it was very nice seeing a couple hundred new pages by Mark Buckingham.  His art is both realistic and believable fantasy, set in a non-existent world - the future 2003 - with characters making total sense no matter how unrealistic their behavior is.  I will admit to being more-than-a-little annoyed by how many pages ran the story across the top tier for two pages.  That's not normal storytelling and there's nothing in the page design itself that indicates the not-normal pacing.

As to the Miracleman story itself, it does come across as very English, so it's unusual on its own.  It is headed the direction Alan Moore started it on back in the early-80s and Gaiman attempted to continue in the early-90s, before all the legal problems.  There's not much sense of heroism or villainy, which might or might not be a benefit for storytelling.

There are some hints of *woke* subjects which might have been more subtle back when the story was supposed to come out thirty years ago.  Transgenderism is a real scientific invention, religion just automatically centered itself around the Miracleman dictatorship - it makes sense in context, but... - and MM's baby daughter still doesn't wear clothes, despite being a 20+ year old baby.  That *doesn't* make sense in context, even though it's clear what they're talking about.

Maybe it was just the long wait for this story, but I enjoyed it more than expected, given the complaints.  It's rumored that there will be some bad news for Gaiman any day now, so we'll see if that has any effect on the story.  I am curious to see how this plays out, on the page and in real life.  What a long strange trip it's been...
