At least DC Comics protected Julius Schwartz, why can't Neil Gaiman be more like him?

□ [“1915 Supreme Court Ruling: Accepting a Pardon is an 'Admission of Guilt!'"]
After insisting that he wasn't going to pardon Hunter, after pardoning Hunter and not wanting to pardon others, after being asked in 2020 about Trump *considering* preemptive pardons and answering "Well, it concerns me in terms of what kind of precedent it sets in how the rest of the world looks at us as a nation of laws and justice. You won't see me doing that." But here he is.
He pardoned Tony Fauci, General Mark Milley and the J6 Select Committee, including Liz Cheney. He also pardoned a lot of his family members. Somehow they never committed any crimes, officially, but he's very specific about the dates from which these non-crimes were non-committed that now they can't be prosecuted for.
Hopefully this is just another bad idea from a guy who made his career on them. A pardon means they can't lie about their crimes so now, in theory, Congress can bring them in and ask specific questions about them. I'd say start with Hunter but I haven't paid close attention to these people, so maybe there's a better option. Ask Liz Cheney why she gets a pardon and a Presidential Medal of Freedom the same month.
The family members are probably part of the corruption he's taken part in for 50 years, that's why they needed it. I'm curious about the date he chose, January 1, 2014. The most likely guess is their work for Ukraine and Russia. The next most likely guess is that there's footage of them at P. Diddy parties. You really want to see them raping babies with Hillary and Kamala Harris and say 'at least *he* can't be prosecuted?

□ [“President Trump to Speak at Capital One Arena and Sign Executive Orders in Front of Crowd"]
Really didn't think we'd get this far. Didn't think we'd get to the election, didn't think Trump could overcome the theft, didn't think they'd let him reach today. So this is what being wrong feels like. Maybe I should try that more often.
I did expect him to immediately start signing the executive orders, without even waiting for the celebration to end. Those have probably already started being implemented. That's one thing he would obviously do. The enemy is desperate to take him out, every second could be his last and one thing I will credit Trump for, he knows how to make use of his remaining time. Still a lot of reasons to not trust him, but just the fact that he's so productive is a major point in his favor.
I guess there were some protests outside, but minimal compared to eight years ago. Partially it's just because it was so freaking cold, now that they've banned global warming, but the left really doesn't know what to work with. They aren't winning people over with this so why go out and freeze your trans butt off? Or why put up with people who will?
Most of the results we won't see, at least not in the short-term. That's why I hope he has some option for an immediate economic benefit. He could temporarily cut a tax on gasoline or something, while moves are being made to make that permanent or lower the costs in some other way so we suddenly save a lot of money and it gives transportation and logistics a reason to lower their prices further.
A number of right-wingers are complaining that he shouldn't have bothered with the ceremony, just get to work. I get that and mostly agree, but it's why I couldn't be a politician. Collective events like this are needed, it's why there's a ceremony in the first place. It's like doing a promotion and awards ceremony in a warzone, there's just a reason to waste everyone's time for something they're not interested in when they have better things to do. At least this was about celebrating a victory.
Now we'll see what's next. Tech oligarchs were present, as were some Democrats and others that we should worry about. They might not be here to suck up to Trump, they might be giving him orders. We don't want to hear about traitors not being prosecuted or deals being made. We want the enemy physically defeated, which Trump didn't do last time even when he had the chance. There isn't much time left and we will expect him to actually get things done now. Not next year. Not wait for his successor. His supporters will turn on him if he fails. I'll just say I expect him to fail just so I can be proven very very wrong about that.
Trump to Sign Executive Order Defining Sex as ‘Male and Female’ on First Day

□ [“AOC, Jerry Nadler, Media Falsely Accuses Elon Musk of Making Nazi Salute at Inaugural Rally"]
He's going to sue them for "disinformation" and use their own quotes about spreading lies against them. If possible, he'll find statements they'd made on PBS and CNN, the media going along with this. PBS is government-funded and CNN has just lost a big lawsuit for defamation, they really aren't in a situation where this is a good idea, but here they are.
AOC has been very loud and annoying. Democrats don't have anyone else to send out right now, so they'll let her take the hits. She also thinks this is a smart thing to do so she'll just keep going. At least until the lawsuit shows up.
People have already found footage of Obama and Hillary making the exact same 'nazi salute' and nobody was permitted to criticize them for that. Or maybe it's just Democrats showing where their minds goes first even when it has nothing to do with reality.
I'm guessing PBS and CNN will quickly cave, but it won't help. If they actually have any viewers, it'll just make them ask 'why am I watching this?' AOC and the others will probably just ignore this. They may have to make a public statement to get out of the lawsuit - no idea if that works - but they'll find something else to spread "disinformation" about. But smarter people will realize this is is no longer a good way to fight.

□ [“Trump Withdraws the US From the Crippling Paris Climate Accord Again"]
Almost better than the actual withdrawal, this is showing these elite globalists that they can't rely on the US. We've bounced back and forth from this fake accord so they can't make any future decisions that involve us, so who else can they rely on? Uh-oh...
This was basically a redo of how the European Union got together, as the unelected bureaucrats and rich people got together for meetings no one else paid attention to and then that suddenly became their new government. But it's even worse here, just because it includes so many more people. The rulers have also been reinforced in their beliefs that they know best and the peasants must obey, which leaves them in a bad situation now.
I've heard that Trump has already withdrawn us from the WHO as well. Don't know if it's true but it'll happen any day. In theory it's possible to support these international organizations but not these, not with their agenda. Nations should form alliances with their neighbors and those who have the same views, which is generally divided by continents. The idiocy of thinking 'global' just encourages wanna-be tyrants. We've seen that with the 'global warming' myth for the last fifty years.
