If we didn't start the fire, then who did?

□ [“Another Las Angeles Fire Breaks Out: New Fire in Granada Hills Threatens Residential Homes"]
Ok, these are deliberate. Most likely it's about hiding evidence of relationships people had with Jeffrey Epstein, P. Diddy and their ilk. But there's now several fires going. Whoever's responsible, they obviously got away with it so others had a chance as well.
This has gone on for several days now and barely any of the fires are even slightly under control. Whoever set the fires may be going in their own direction, but they might be expecting cover from all the Californians who are pissed off. There's the inability to put out fires, there's the fire department which sees DEI as a more important requirement. The rest of the country is laughing at them and asking why they'd accept any firetruck handled by white men.
There's the *woke* government. A week ago, the city demanded an even bigger budget cut for the fire department, like they hadn't already done enough. They can't do anything now and you want to take more away from them? The state government just authorized a special legislative session about spending money to go after Trump. The federal government is claiming it will be nicer to the state that voted for
Biden
Harris than it was to those southeastern states hit by hurricanes.
Californians are starting to see that no one's going to help them. As the saying goes, when seconds count, the fire department is only minutes away. To their credit, some citizens ganged up to take down a guy who was walking around using a blowtorch. [WTF???] They're going to be a lot more of that unless actual law enforcement goes to work, but they have no incentive anymore.

Not sure I believe this but he's at least trying to go along with Trump rather than side with the losing minority that pushed this agenda. Not sure if he'll get approval from China but at least this is something.
And he's also talking about how the government went after Facebook employees and demanded censorship of posters who said things the government didn't like. You can't dare criticize anything about covid or the vaccine. Then there's comments about Hunter Biden's laptop. Unless you say that it's totally fake, any comments will get you banned.
But don't worry, he insists it'll never happen again. Sure. That's why he obeyed without complaint in the first place. That's why he's only now saying anything about this in public. Because a government that got away with bullying him for years would never get away with doing that again. Facebook's not the only problem, but social media in general.

□ [“Senate Dem: Resistance Is Futile"]
The Democrats who are (officially) in charge of the party are finally getting around to admitting that the stupid rhetoric against Trump and his supporters doesn't actually help. Obviously it lost them votes and elections. The more you ignore people's problems and call Trump a nazi, the worse it gets for you, so how 'bout fixing that?
Some of them are actually willing to on a bill against immigration, and support Trump's nominees. Probably not that many, but it should help get the job done. Then they'll need to face the *woke* members of their own party who made this happen with their insanity. In a fight like this, it's basically easier to just admit you lost the election instead of behaving like you always have.
□ [“NY Judge Sentences Trump But Doesn't Impose Punishment – Trump Tells Court, 'There Was No Crime – I’m Totally Innocent'"]
All these fake legal cases got them nowhere. They kept trying, two federal cases were dismissed and the prosecutor in the Georgia case is the one in trouble now. This isn't totally over yet and they may try some other witch hunt, but there's also a point where this is just a waste of everybody's time and money. And for what? Now you really can call him a "convicted felon" like he was black or something? That's not a win.

□ [“Newsom Orders 'Independent Investigation' Into Lack of Water in Fire Hydrants"]
They're turning on each other. Gotta admit, I didn't really see that coming, at least not in such a public way. This is the sort of thing you'd expect them to keep private, so the public image remains unified and leftist. But they're facing real problems now on their home turf.
There's so much blame to go around, they all need to go on the offensive or might be taken down. They can blame Trump and global warming, but those didn't prevent them from building the backup reservoir that Democrats passed into law years ago. They didn't force L.A. to have empty fire hydrants. California can't even protect its most-famous city, but they're supposed to set an example for the rest of the country?
Newsom's investigation is the closest this comes to being planned. Of course it will show that he's totally innocent and find someone else to blame. But the rich and famous might not fall for that. They'll see someone they can attack right now, always important to leftists.
Haven't seen confirmation but I've heard the L.A. Fire Chief has already been fired for her comments about the mayor. The fight will keep going and not just among the rich and/or famous. The fires are continuing to grow, in more ways than one.
