It was surprising enough to learn that MLK killed JFK, but he did it using reruns of "I Love Lucy"?

□ [“Jake Sullivan Told NSC Staffers to 'Hold Over' to Spy On and Sabotage Trump"]
Did you tell them to lie about this if they get asked why they're working against their boss? Because otherwise they could point exactly to you for giving the order. Even if they don't spill the beans, someone else might have been in the room and could report you to the feds. It's even possible the National Security Council might have ways to listen in on what its employees (or former employees) are saying to each other.
For that matter, you couldn't meet with everybody. There'd be a record of you see, who you email or talk to on the phone, so right there would be people who Trump officials could see as traitors. They were placing their career in danger just by you telling them this. And that's all if the Trump administration didn't expect you to do this in the first place. If they saw it coming, well...
How many staffers will go along with this? That's iffy, here or anywhere else in the executive branch. I'm sure many want to betray Trump, but a lot of them would know how easily they can be caught. And then what would they do for a job? A lot of federal employees are suddenly applying for new jobs anyway, how do you compete against them? The ones that stay will be under heavy watch and the boss is already looking to cut personnel anyway. They could easily turn against Sullivan just to save themselves.

□ [“Trump Signs Executive Order to Withdraw U.S. from Globalist World Health Organization"]
There we go! You can make an argument for others, but I've always seen the WHO as the main part of the self-appointed rulers of the world. They're part of the UN but everyone ignores the UN except to attack Israel. The WHO can give orders to shut a country down for whatever virus they can imagine. This is a very big reason to seal the borders yesterday, because if they don't already have bioweapons here, they'd be bringing them in today.
This may be where we will finally be able to identify the enemy in this WWIII. The global elites all center around the UN and will be trying to pull everyone together to attack us. They'll need to know who's on their side so they'll need to be easily-identifiable. They'll need to turn to China for support, and worry about people in many other nations turning against them. This could be what makes things finally go kinetic.
The WHO itself might fall apart or fade away. The remaining members and their supporters may have to put together a new organization that's more indicative of their goals, 'world population reduction.' I'm probably just being optimistic, but competent right-wingers will be looking for ways to utilize talent and ability and make use of this chance we have after four years. The left will have to do the same, but they aren't very good at that.

□ [“Acting FBI Director Abruptly Announces Retirement as Trump Takes Office"]
We probably won't hear the details but this is probably happening a lot. It's not just that people don't want to work for Trump, although maybe there's some of that. I think it's mostly about people who resigned but their chair needs to be held by someone until a suitable replacement is found. The acting commander didn't know what they were really getting into so they just found out yesterday or today and decided 'hell no, I'm not going to be part of that.'
I'll need to check if anything like this happened in 2017. I don't recall any of it but that may be because the protestors were getting all the attention and Trump was just starting the job. We're now seeing headlines of those who made the news in the last year or so getting fired and that's good to hear.
□ [“Trump Fires Woke Coast Guard Leader Over DEI Obsession, Ignoring Border Security Threats"]
Obviously the military is the one we're most pleased to see, that the *woke* movement has reached its limit. I think we should continue to be suspicious of the military for the foreseeable future, but this is moving in the right direction. For the most part, the fired military leftists won't be that big of problem. They have some talent for schmoozing but since they were focused on getting promoted, they don't have many other abilities to bring to the table. Whatever secrets they can give away will get out-of-date and I suspect that they didn't focus much on classified information just because they were focused on leftism and career.

□ [“Social Media Platform Bluesky in Meltdown Over Trump’s January 6th Pardons — ‘We Are All in Terrible Danger’"]
They need an echo chamber so for whatever reason, they've moved to Bluesky. But the problem with echo chambers is that you get bored hearing the same things over and over again. That's just another example of how leftism fundamentally weakens whatever it's part of, including leftists themselves.
I think this is a natural reaction to the internet itself. We can all focus on whatever we're most interested in and, except for all the ads, ignore everything else. We're able to group together with the like-minded which builds this up even more, allowing us to believe we're totally right and everyone else is ugly because they disagree with me. I mean disagree with them, yes, of course, that's what I meant to say. I'm sure you agree with that.
So what with this do to the left? As individuals, I'm sure they'll be diminished somewhat, but it's really not clear. Some of them might see the problem and just want to get away, but the rest of them, they'll just rant about being oppressed, and no one will bother to shut them up.
