The world would be much better now if my cat didn't ignore me. I blame Trump for that!

□ [“Captain America star: 'I don't think Captain America represents America'"]

“For me Captain America represents a lot of different things and I don’t think the term ‘America’ should be one of those representations.”

Does Anthony Mackie have a bet going on how much of his audience he can lose?  There's no other reason to go out and be so stupid.  If he really is that stupid, Disney shouldn't be letting him outside without a legal guardian.  Unless they agree with him.

They've gotten this far, there's no reason to think there's anyone with responsibility for this company, even stock holders.  Otherwise they'd have been saying 'shut the hell up' long ago, if they'd even allowed it to get this far.  Yet here they are.  Marvel has suddenly started announcing that the movie's production cost was only $180 million.  It's possible that's what it started as, but they've had tons of reshoots and the Harrison Ford appearance wasn't cheap.  Who do they think this is going to convince?

That's why I'm coming to the belief that this is all deliberate.  They may know it's all suicidal but they're collectively devoted to this movie and what it stands for, which isn't anything positive about America.  I'm guessing Disney expected to be in a far different place at this point and they've gone too far to change directions.

This movie debuts on Valentine's Day, not the best time for superhero movies.  Then barely a month later, there's the live-action Snow White, which hasn't gotten much attention for a while and will be an even bigger disaster.  They've ruined Marvel, ruined Star Wars, spent ridiculous amounts of money on other failures and are still doubling-down on DEI.  How bad do things have to get before someone speaks up?  Not sure, but no one else will feel sorry for these people.  They can have what they believe represents America, the rest of us will leave.

□ [“Trump and Secretary Rubio Ignoring European Union; Focus on Bilateral Relations with Members"]

They're pushing nationalism, which is the EU's kryptonite.  Each nation has people who see problems with the EU and think they can get better deals with the US on their own.  Others will be unsure which way the wind is blowing so they'll stand back and let others make the decisions.  Of course there will be many who only want the EU, life is meaningless without it, but they'll have to struggle to maintain power.

We're probably unaware of it, but each country probably has their own long-standing objections to the EU which has been kept silent all these years.  Even in Belgium there must be Flemish who have had enough of Walloons and Brussels.  The whole EU is becoming a joke, basically the western version of the Warsaw Pact.  There's less open tyranny but they make up for it with elite bureaucracies and invaders taking more and more land.

This may explain why Trump made such a big deal about Greenland.  Denmark is out talking to the other Nordic nations directly, rather than wasting time with the EU.  They'd have to prepare for some kind of defense in case Trump invades, which would remind them of what it's like to be a nation.  Norway has never been an EU member, so they may have their own views on the matter.

□ [“Biden-Appointed Judge Blocks Trump Federal Spending Freeze on Public Loans and Grants"]

This is where the left has decided to make a stand?  Trump ordered the Office of Management and Benefits to determine what spending was actually necessary so that everything else can be cut.  But lower-ranking judges get to decide if he can do that or not.  In theory, there's an argument to be made for both sides.  I think Trump has plans here.

It's not that he expects to win every battle, but he knows how the losses happen and can work on those.  For instance, elites, perves, traffickers and foreigners might want to make sure they keep getting the money, so they'll immediately apply for more now that Trump's order has been paused.  So they can be followed and investigated further to identify what they're doing and who is involved, even if Trump loses on the merits of the case.  He'll also probably take this up to the Supreme Court just so it can be put in strict legal terms.

Other judges are getting ready to sue over this matter and probably other executive orders.  This will expand the battlelines.  They'll need to look into how much of this is justified by law or the Constitution and how much was just imposed by unelected leftists and bureaucrats.  Even a loss could help Trump more than his enemies expect and he's riding the momentum as far as possible, so at the moment, there won't be many losses.  Notice they're not rushing out to defend transgenders in the military or something like that.

□ [“White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Reveals Drones Flying Over New Jersey Were Authorized by Biden Admin for 'Research and Various Other Purposes'"]

Not saying anything useful, just continuing the cover-up of whatever that was.  It shows the world we live in, when was the last time you even thought of those drones going around?  They were still there when coverage stopped and to be honest, we have no actual proof that they aren't still going around.

That said, we're stuck with this official narrative, that it was our government doing this for some reason.  Not China or whoever, although they may have given the orders.  We still don't know why China sent their balloon through the continental US, and when was the last time you thought of that?  I'd have to go look up when it even happened, just because we have to put up with so much every day.

Trump now has his press secretary.  I'm not paying any attention, I'm just seeing articles and comments, but she seems likable.  I'll give her credit for at least covering this issue and a few others in this conference.  She's asked why Trump hasn't lowered the price of eggs in the last week and she points out that the media ignored the price of eggs shooting up for years under Biden, and his Department of Agriculture ordered 100 million chickens to be killed, which did increase prices.

I'm sexist so I'm a bit skeptical about these ladies doing the talking, but I will give them credit for things like this.  So far, Trump 2.0 seems to be much better at handling things than the first go-around, and I've given him a lot of credit for that.  Let's keep this going.

□ [“Never-Trump Republicans Predict Democrats Poised for Big Comeback Win in 2028"]

I'm betting they didn't predict Democrats would lose a couple months ago.  Never heard of these people, which is fine, it's a big country, but they just sound like installed tools of the uniparty.  It's all about tearing everything else down so their side is victorious.  That's not going to last much longer, their true employers will be looking to cut needless spending so unless these people have something else to offer, they'll need to find a real job.  Or at least 'learn to code.'

□ [“White House Warns RINO Senators of 'Consequences' for Holding up, Voting Against, Nominees"]

Things are a bit different now.  This article is a bit vague, coming mostly from unnamed sources, but it's clear the man in charge won't put up with much of this.  And it's the Senate, where (as far as we know) they have to answer to their own voters first.  Both parties have these people, where they actually do turn against their own side because that's what the voters actually want, but in this case, Trump is willing to push against them anyway.  If he'll do that for Congress, those uniparty predictors are screwed.  They might as well just announce they are Democrats and hope to get some bailout funding.

I hoped things like this would happen but it's still not something I want to see.  Trump said he'd start out as a dictator and that's obviously the only way this can work, but it's still dictatorship.  It's not clear what leverage he would have against these RINO Senators but I'm sure he has something.  The executive branch shouldn't be doing this but the uniparty shouldn't have put the chief executive in this position.  It's going to get worse before it gets better.

This is making me think of Cincinnatus, a historical figure about whom very little is known and even less is confirmed.  I think he was the most notable Roman figure at the end of the 'kingdom' era, leaving his farm to become dictator and save the city from the invaders.  Then he gave up power and went home.  Assuming he survives, I'm sure Trump will finish his second term, but wouldn't it be awesome if he decides he's done enough two or three years from now, so he steps down?

Something like that would probably put him down in the history books as the greatest POTUS ever, and he had been rich, successful and famous for a long time before he ever even got into this political stuff.  This is who the uniparty is up against.  They probably feel immensely desperate and aren't even capable of comprehending why.  This is why Trump deserves so much support from real Americans, even as we criticize him as I'm doing here.
