□ [“DeSantis Says Florida Drivers Have the Right to ‘Flee for Your Safety’ and Run Over Rioters"]
Finally someone with authority is speaking out against these lunatics taking over the roads. Hopefully this will get more Republican governors to say the same thing. People shouldn't have to put up with these thugs trying to trap their next victims. They only get away with it because most people are too scared to fight back because they'll be punished for self-defense.
Then Democrat governors will be asked for their thoughts on people's right to self-defense in vehicles under attack. A few of them will probably say 'yes, you have the right to escape your abuser and it's their fault for putting you in that position. But the rest will have to speak out and insist that if you get taken prisoner, just accept it and hopefully you'll eventually be allowed to go free.
But it's doubtful any of them will say anything to the protestors. 'Don't do that, you don't have the right to take people prisoner just for your political statement.' Democrat governors didn't get to that office by opposing the rioters.
□ [“Florida Sheriff Delivers a Message to Leftists and Illegals Planning Riots in His County"]
Then there's this guy who goes into very nice details about the ways you can get bitten by dogs, be sent to hospitals, or have your loved ones come collect your corpse. Wow was that awesome. Police units should be putting out messages like that everywhere. If the left really thinks they're capable of fighting for this nonsense, it's time to get started. Just remember, only one side is expendable this weekend and they're the ones causing the riots.

□ [“In Kiev, German Defense Minister Says They Won't Send Taurus Long-Range Missiles to Ukraine"]
There's multiple news on several warfronts currently going on. Russian troops keep moving west and suddenly Germany has decided on a limit to the military equipment they're going to provide? That seems like odd timing since Germany has been one of the most vocal Ukraine supporters.
I've seen an interesting theory that Ukraine has been sending troops east, across rivers, so Russia is planning to blow up the bridges in a summer offensive. If they had done that earlier, the Ukrainian troops would still be free to escape, but this could trap most of them all at once, guaranteeing a complete surrender for them.
Otherwise Russia can just keep moving west slowly. NATO members have weak militaries and are increasingly crippled by their leftist leaders, so they won't be able to do anything about it anyway. If Russia had acted like normal three years ago, certainly by now NATO might have been able to put together a resistance of some kind. Instead they complain about Russia just like they complain about global warming and transphobia, it's all easy for normal people to ignore.
□ [“US Evacuates Middle East Embassy & Military Personnel as Tensions Mount Over Potential Israeli Strike on Iran"]
Then there's Iran. I don't *think* there's a lot they can do about this and it's not clear how much influence they really have in the rest of the Muslim world, but face it, it's Iran. Trump says he's urged Israel to delay an attack on their nuclear facilities but maybe that's just for show. I hope Israel handles it themselves but it's not like I can deny supporting them otherwise, and Trump is in this much deeper than I am.
Technically this might be their easiest war to solve if Israel gets it right, especially if Iranians are finally willing to overthrow the mullahs. But that's still a big *if* and there's no reason to assume it will go just fine. It does look like other Muslims are generally tired of the Jew-hatred so Iran won't have as much leeway, but even if I'm right about that, there's no reason to think it will last very long.
At least Trump is removing as many US personnel as possible from the region. It would be better if they aren't around when any nukes are fired. But I've also heard he's trying to negotiate something with Iran, which just seems pointless. I get it, Trump loves negotiation, but this would go nowhere and you'd think he should know that by now.
Note, I finished writing this, then checked if there was any new headlines and Israel has just hit Tehran. I guess that'll be the big news tomorrow.
□ [“Trump Announces New Deal with China"]
Then there's these negotiations with China. Reportedly it's about the tariffs although I'm sure there's military details we aren't told about. This is the most worrisome. I just don't trust Trump to get negotiations right. Basically anything I've heard about China suggests they're impossible to negotiate with, at least successfully. Just a few days ago, China stepped back, something about not giving us rare metals. But just got fixed right away???
There's also an issue with Chinese immigrants and spies coming in. I don't pay attention to that stuff but I know it's a big issue, and it sounds like China's going to keep getting what it wants. Way to go, Trump. I wonder if the ones who worked for Dianne Feinstein have found new jobs.
And then there's general military threats. They may attack us with drones or bioweapons. They're also still going after Taiwan and Hong Kong. They also expect to control the Pacific and aren't happy if we disagree with that. They also have cybersoldiers attacking us. This is just going to keep causing more problems no matter what.
It is possible that Xi is having enormous economic problems. Ok, fine, but we don't hear about that and couldn't believe whatever we do here. Maybe that's an incentive for Trump but it just doesn't seem trustworthy. China has much deeper claws into western society than anyone else and has a lot of immunity to anything we can do against them. I'm not saying it's hopeless but this just doesn't look good. Because *they* have been getting prepared for a long time.

□ [“Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) Forcibly Removed and Arrested For Heckling DHS Secretary Kristi Noem During Press Briefing"]
Here's today's other big news. As a liberal, of course men can barge in on women and she's just got to shut up and obey. No leftist in the country would disagree with that. They also support members of Congress just breaking in on something, regardless of the laws.
So this guy barged into the briefing and started barking out questions. The DHS secretary is high-up on the list of people who will replace the POTUS if it comes to that, the Secret Service is right there. Their priority is to look at what someone is doing or trying to do, they can identify him later on. This guy was not wearing his ID or anything to show his authority so he was treated like anyone else who tries to do that.
Other members of Congress have already tries to start bullying about how *oppressed* this lunatic senator was. This will continue happening. Will any congressional Dems bother to identify themselves or will they just assume everyone recognizes them and are offended when they don't? Probably the latter, it gives them even more excuse to keep doing this. Haven't looked up any of the fights before the first Civil War begin but I'm sure a lot of us are reminded of that regularly these days.
