I didn't send those sexual texts to other women, it was the cat who did that. Why doesn't my wife believe me?

□ [“Shots Fired at US Consulate in Toronto - RCMP Confirms it’s a ‘National Security Incident’"]

Iran supporters (or ignorant puppets) around the world are starting to make attacks.  The guy who tried to throw bombs into a crowd in NYC has made a statement that Islam takes action when criticized.  There's going to be a lot more attempts to attack something nearby.  If there's any sane leftists out there, they'll have to ask why they're on the same side as Muslim terrorists.  Of course the insane ones will be looking for ways to do the same thing.

□ [“Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CN) Says Briefing on Iran Left Him 'Angry'"]

And those in charge have to figure out how to handle these people.  Blumenthal is 80 years old and has been in public office since Elvis Presley was still alive, he's definitely not one of the normal people.  He's very rich which also helps with Democrats.  But his public statements on this just sound like empty rhetoric, what he's expected to say regardless of the truth.

Oh, he's worried that we'll put boots on the ground despite everything being done so far being about not doing that.  I'm sure there's a chance it will happen but not a big one and it'll be about the Air Force wiping out everything from the shore to wherever the destination is before the troops move in.  Oh but there might be deaths!  Dude, they're government property, that's already accounted for.  And of course he goes on to whining about the "cost" which leftists never care about when it's their orders being given.

And he says Russia and China are also involved.  No doubt, they've been allies with Iran for a long time, they're tied together whether they like it or not.  I'm sure they're actively changing that relationship no matter which way they expect to go and may have already decided whether they'll stick with the mullahs or not.  My guess, no evidence, is that they'd prefer to stick with Iran but won't fight to keep the mullahs around.  If they keep the oil and other economic deals, they'd be fine with a new Persian government.

So Blumenthal's idiocy isn't going to help anybody and it shows the problems the left is having these days.  At least with Maduro, they'll forget about the country as soon as this conflict is over, it's just that Iran is going to take more time than Venezuela did.  In the meantime they have to side with whoever the current Ayatollah is which is tough to do when you're also promoting abortions for transgender homosexuals.

□ [“Iranian TV Says New Supreme Leader Moitaba Khamenei Was Wounded by US-Israel Strikes"]

It's Iranian TV so we can't trust it but they wouldn't have to say anything if *something* hadn't just happened.  Since taking power, he hasn't made any public appearances or even internet videos.  This is not a good time to go on vacation so there's a good chance he's injured or dead.  Doesn't say much about the Supreme Leader if he can't even keep the job for a week.

This is something I don't think we've seen since the early years of this century when we were invading Afghanistan and Iraq.  Muslims believe that God is on their side and have had enough victories in the last 1500 years to justify that but then there's the times where He isn't helping them.  This is also why groups like Al-Qaida and ISIS fall apart so quickly after someone - usually Trump - hits them hard.  Muslims are self-aware enough to realize that if God doesn't protect them, it's their own fault, but that makes it hard to build long-lasting organizations.  [Note:  I was never a scholar of Islam and have forgotten most of the stuff I used to know so I'm not citing anything specific, it's just the overall impression I've had for the last 20-some years.]

□ [“IRGC Says Any Nation Who Expels US and Israeli Ambassadors ‘Allowed’ to Navigate the Strait of Hormuz"]

The mullahs and the standard government are being pushed to the side, to the extent they aren't already crumbling.  The IRGC is calling the shots, it's probably their best chance to survive.  The Straits are quite important so on the one hand, it makes sense that they'd do something to try to keep it, but on the other hand, it seems a bit strange.  You're not going to beat the US military so trying to get some international terrorism isn't going to help.  So then why are you bothering with the Straits in the first place?

Trump has already made a statement on the issue that the US will handle the Straits.  Glad that's settled.  The US and Israel are still hitting Iran where they need to.  Apparently there are disagreements about what needs to be hit but that may just be noise.  Trump has spoken to Putin on the war, as well as Ukraine.  No idea what they actually said but officially Trump basically told Putin to not get involved or share intelligence with Iran.  Under normal circumstances I'd expect Putin to listen to that as long as Russia isn't affected but these aren't normal times so we'll see.

□ [“Mrs. Gavin Newsom Made a Fortune Through NPO Pushing ‘Gender’ Films in California Classrooms"]

Why can't he do what Aunt Nancy does and invest their money to get richer?  Well maybe that's what the NPOs are for, they handle that for these people.  It's interesting how more attention is going to Newsom even as he tries to move over to winning the 2028 Democrat Primary.  I'm guessing he's going to be hit hard long before getting around to that and he never struck me as the sort of person who could handle that very well.

There hasn't been much attention for a while to the elites looting public funding or any of the scams that had been exposed a few months ago.  I'm guessing (or at least hoping) that those investigations are still on-going, they just aren't getting noticed because Iran is more important.  The information being uncovered will be used at the right time, long before upcoming elections.  At least I hope so, there's been too many other potential reveals in the last however-many years that went nowhere.

□ [“A Panicked Chuck Schumer Says SAVE Act Would Purge Millions From Voter Rolls"]

Meanwhile this is going on over in DC.  I'm ambivalent on the bill itself, the goal is any way which gets rid of people having their illegal votes counted.  But that's what Schumer is promoting by this idiotic opposition.  Most Americans want votes to be trusted and there's been too much fraud discovered to continue as we've been going.

The conflict over this is going on deeper than most of us can see.  We know leftists will oppose it and it's become clear that Democrats heavily rely on these fake votes but then there's the rest of the Uniparty.  I don't recall if any Republicans have been caught using this recently but I'm willing to bet at least some of them do.  It gets even more complicated, the politicians themselves may be partially or entirely ignorant of this, it's their handlers who take care of fake votes and they know what trouble they're in, especially considering DOGE and all the other investigations.

As always, I have to stress that it's taking way too long to release any useful information to the public and it just keeps building.  Trump himself is doing fine but everything depends on him and there's no stable progress to be made that way.  All the enemy politicians are still in power, all their secrets are still hidden and there's no sense that anything will change.  The left is panicking but they always do that.  Something different has to be done and it always seems like Trump falls back on staying quiet and following standard policies just at the time when he could be more like the Trump we know.

□ [“Transformers Movie Reformat 1986"]

A.I. is quickly becoming better.  And more seductive.  I usually check every night if anybody's put out a decent cover song and although it's getting monotonous, it's still much better than it was six months ago.  It's also nice to hear actual music again, one thing that long-ago pushed me away from listening to much of anything.

I'm much less interested in what they'll do with movies or tv shows, even ones I used to like, but even someone as resistant as me can see potential.  They just put out a remake - or at least an edit - of the 1986 Transformers:  The Movie.  I saw it five times in theaters and had no clue it was a bomb until years later when I started using the internet.  But now there's a full version of the movie with actual good animation, something I never thought I'd see.

I've seen this movie get attention elsewhere on youtube recently and that seems very strange.  Did the few people who actually saw it as kids actually become so obsessed with it that it's the top priority as soon as we get A.I. access?  Even more important than the team-up between Daisy Duke and Kelly Bundy?

It's still quite unnerving how quickly this is growing and how useful it can be with no human interaction.  I criticize A.I. all the time but had no problems using it to look something up when I can't immediately recall specific details.  In general I think I limit it to questions where I'll recognize an answer being totally wrong but even when I see an error, it usually gets fixed when I re-write and re-ask the question.  It's almost spooky to consider where this might be in a year or so.

But I will suggest that it can become somewhat repulsive.  Let's say I come up with a random idea for A.I. to generate, let's say, re-do the conclusion to the Newhart tv show where it's reversed, Bob Newhart wakes up in bed with Joanna and says he just dreamed about being married to Emily.  I come up with ideas like that every day or so, that would very quickly become way too much footage for anyone to watch even if they're remotely interested.

And hundreds, thousands, millions of people are doing the same thing for whatever they come up with.  There'd be too much for anyone to even consider looking at, along with the fact that we aren't actually doing any work to make it happen.  It'll come to a point where we can write a script for it but it's still A.I. doing everything.  I just don't think most people would want to put up with that.
