Will they be paying people to do this or will there be any rich people who've been just fine for not getting paid in the last several months who will be on the picket lines?  Because if not, you're expecting poor people to go protest others who are getting paid for work and aren't in their union in the first place.  That isn't a good use of time or energy, so the rich people probably won't be there.

This is interesting to see the strike starting to break down.  Most people can see the problems we've had in the economy for the last few years and they would like to go back to earning a living.  The people in charge have no such problems or desires, but here you have a leftist icon defying them (politely) as well as the only relevant heir to a legitimately American aristocratic family.  [although even looking it up is amusingly American;  Drew is the descendent of the founder's 3rd son's 3rd wife (of four), their 2nd son's 4th wife.  Drew herself has already been married three times.  Just the number of divorces in a hundred years shows that this isn't how an aristocracy works.]  Maybe they're resisting the people in charge because they know they can get away with it but given the amount of problems going on these days, they can't just keep going the same catastrophic way as they've been going.

Unless something unexpected happens, I'll assume the strike will collapse soon.  In times like this, we all need something we can rely on in our lives, even Hollywood.  Even worthless productions require people who actually show up and get paid, not someone who sits around spamming low-class workers.  Don't know how long it will take but some of the real people must have had enough of this.

Was this before or after he saved his son from dying in World War II by ending the war with his bare hands while explaining to his parents at dinner how great the economy was?  I still can't believe they even let him be seen in public, much less actually say anything.  They must think someone is paying attention to what he says and think he's serious.  Don't know who but there's probably someone somewhere.

Oh that's much better.  Instead of picking someone who can speak coherently, they'll just re-write the historical record of what he actually said.  On camera.  In public.  But history will maintain the lie.  Where o where would they get the idea that this is a good way to run a government?  And where do they find people who think this is a good idea?

Pretending for the sake of argument that this guy is actually the POTUS, how would anybody get the authority to rewrite his own publicly available words?  Shouldn't Biden be the first one to oppose that?  His great speech must be left available to future generations.  Otherwise someone can wake up tomorrow and decide he actually talked about how crappy the Star Wars sequels were, no one will ever know the difference.

They could have chosen to do that last time but then you'd have fired them.  I notice there's no mention of how totally wrong the hospital was to fire them but I guess they have no regrets for that.  They could even change their minds again, any time they want.  That's how important this vaccine is.

And for that matter, if it's totally voluntary, why do they need to fill out forms refusing to get it before a certain deadline?  They don't have to get it so they just don't do paperwork.  When was the last time you had to fill out a form for not buying a plane ticket for a flight you weren't going to go on?  This has more to do with keeping track of the disobedient than anything else.

It was probably also influenced by the employees' reactions to this.  Hopefully they're not going to put up with it again and hopefully that applies to everywhere stupid enough to push this nonsense.  But other than that, I don't see any upside.  They'll still give orders, maybe they'll try to look nice by not immediately forcing them on everybody, they certainly admit to any previous mistakes in this matter.  They're going to do it again.  Maybe not this time, but soon.

Well isn't this amazing coincidence.  There aren't enough things going wrong yet so here's some more.  What makes fascism different from communism is that fascism finds it works better to operate through privately-owned companies, so just as Hollywood studios are getting a major incentive to move to A.I., now auto producers have an incentive to push electric vehicles, all in obedience to the rulers.

The unions want a nearly-50% pay increase and a 32-hour work-week.  That's just not how business works.  This may also be an incentive to hire illegal immigrants to do the work.  It's almost certainly another example of big companies trying to go 'woke.'  There's no reason to think the strike will end soon, who needs to buy new cars in this economy?

The UAW is probably 'woke' too but the workers in the union have to have some recognition of reality.  Why are they doing this?  Why now?  This is another example of exactly why most people want nothing to do with a union, so of course it's why our rulers are always requiring us to join or else we're not permitted to work.  Queen bee commands, workers obey.

Oh boy, another muslim country taking over an embassy!  Been a long time since we've had one of those.  This is going to get bad.

One of those problems with everything we're seeing across the world is that we don't have a clue how which probably are global and which are regional, relevant only to these particular nations.  Niger is Muslim Africa, France is France.  I haven't looked into this closely, but at the moment it seems like another example of letting these people handle their own problems.

France is part of NATO but members are not required to deal with nations having their own individual problems.  Of course this leads to further problems of negotiation and diplomacy, where war is one possible outcome.  I don't see any good way for this to end and that's without all the alliances on each side.  France can't just bug out or they'll look easy to handle and just get more rebellions.

Even if this gets fixed, another problem will come along.  That'll make three continents ready to things to go kinetic.  The people who think this is a good idea wanted to get rid of Trump, go figure.
