As I write this, it's probably still ongoing, but it doesn't sound like there's been any problems.  There is extra security and Harris had to make a video statement this morning that she would indeed certify the election.  That's usually the vice president's job but we haven't had one of those for four years, so she agreed to stand in.

What do you want me to say, that she's now joined the club with Richard Nixon, Hubert Humphrey and Al Gore as veeps who get to certify the election of the guy who beat them?  The men probably handled it decently, so I'll be a nice guy and assume that dizzy bitch did what she was told and didn't screw up too badly.  I hear booze helps with that.

Mitch McConnell didn't show up, he's too injured after a fall a month ago.  Nancy Pelosi was there, along with her walker.  Not sure what's worse, being so old and weak that you can't even show up for your job or being too hungry for power to acknowledge how old and weak you really are.

But now Trump begins the real in-processing.  Can't give orders or sign documents as far as I know, but he can look at the mess of the last four years and start implementing his plans.  Democrats aren't going to just go along with it, we know that, so what are they going to do to resist?  And how is Trump preparing to overcome that resistance?

And they don't even acknowledge the hypocrisy of wanting to ban guns for others but are fine using it themselves.  Nor do they acknowledge the whole point of the second amendment is the citizens' right to defend themselves, including against the government.  It's not like Democrats banning blacks from having guns, Republicans actually support others being armed.

The fact that they're doing this without thinking suggests to me that the real goal is to become like those psycho trans shooters we've seen lately.  They don't know about this but at some point they'll have trained with their guns enough to actually use them and they'll be insane enough to demand revenge for some imaginary oppression.  It'll probably just be some random streetcorner or grocery store, but they'll think they're doing something.

That said, it doesn't sound like a major threat otherwise.  They're expendable themselves and can't do much more than kill people right in front of them.  Otherwise they might act sane, realizing the benefit of weapons protection, realizing that nobody's actually putting them in camps, and then there's the rest of the left who still want to ban guns.  They can do some damage but the real hit will be on their own side.

So basically most people are trying to suck up to Trump, regardless of what side they're on.  In Zelensky's case, it's the only way he has to survive.  I'm surprised Russia hasn't taken him out already, which is one reason to wonder if this was all a fake.  But if it's not, he's desperate.

Why aren't Democrats freaking out about all the nations going for Trump instead of Democrats?  They're all so glad to have someone competent running the US that they're not even waiting for him to take office.  What do they see that Biden supporters don't?

But keep in mind, a lot of this is just a sham.  Trump has been on a winning streak.  That's not going to last, at least not if the enemy has anything to say about it.  Their previous tactics haven't worked, so they need to escalate.  Still not clear what they'll do, but the obvious guess is nuclear or biological weapons.  So to an extent, this sucking-up is just an attempt to distract him.  We'll see if it works but either way, it won't be fun for any of us.

Nice timing, although he does say he's not actually leaving until there's a replacement and who knows how long that'll take?  But here's one of the leftist leaders running away before having to face Trump.  Will others follow?  Britain, France and Germany are having problems.  Britain's getting the most attention because their government supports raping children, but I'm sure the others do too.

I still have to wonder if this was part of the post-9/11 plans, effectively to get leftists to support radical Islam because of course they would.  This would take time and cause damage, but eventually the citizens could be inspired to not take it any longer.

As always, leftism creates its own destruction.  I'm in the minority but I support Islam much more than most people reading this, which is one reason I've also supported the war on terror.  Yes, that seems contradictory, but the infidel needs to show the Muslim world what they're missing.  For ten years or so, we did that.  Then the leftist infidel supported Muslims, along with gay rights and women and abortion and all that.  Possibly, maybe, I hope, we're going to change direction again and get back to showing what western civilization is there for.

That would mean purging the leftists and elites out of our ruling classes around the world.  That sounds fine.  They seem to be operating on delusion anyway.  I'm not someone who makes regular jokes about 'send them to Gitmo,' but I can see why that comes to mind when thinking about how to get rid of these people.  There's going to be war trials before this is over.
