Some newspaper reporter wrote an editorial that blatantly admits that they don't want competition.  Gas prices *MUST* be so high that people have no choice but to buy whatever products the left wants us to buy.  And just use less energy in general.

All the rich and famous people flying jets and driving cars everywhere isn't enough to convince us to stop doing what they do, so the government needs to step in.  They don't like competition.

I'm not in favor of the word "competition" although I don't have a better suggestion.  Competition is specifically going against other people, just to be able to measure the results if for no other reason.  The very definition negates the concept of working for one's own individual purpose.  But what they do have in common is that the rulers don't set the results.  As individuals, we make our own decisions on what to do and how well we try to do it.

The engines they're trying to force us to buy have no way of competing with gasoline-powered vehicles, it'll never happen.  Rather than accept the fact, the way people who compete can accept losing to someone else, they're going to tip the scales in their own favor that they've been focusing on for decades.

They'll need guns to impose their will but that's a lot easier than relying on wind and solar power.  They already have lots of propaganda but they never even have a specific answer for what the temperature *should* be, only that they don't like whatever it is and they'll take power to try to change it to... whatever makes them happy.

And they never change.

By the way, Russia is also a member of OPEC.  If you have to pick one side, which one are you going to go with?  It's things like this that make me seriously suspect that the overall plan is to unite the entire world *against* the US.  What else would do this?

Other than going along with Trump's decisions, Biden did nothing that would bring peace to the Middle East.  They're not increasing oil production.  What was the point of going?  Did he complain about Iran killing anybody or is he fine with that?  Did he even get anybody to go along with him on Iran or do they see an actual threat they'd like to stop?

Fairly standard stuff, but what stands out is that they believe that *other people* believe they're actually God, just by praying.  The universe obeys me because I pray, that's why I'm telling you to pray.

Shouldn't it be the opposite?  You're forbidden to pray because that would make you God and I'm the one who gets to be God so I control the universe.  Why would I want you to do that too?  The leftists are trying to prevent prayer and they want everybody else to obey.  None of them have the slightest chance of saying 'sure, you can pray if you want to.'

But they do say "Prayer is a powerful communication tool in the evangelical tradition: The speaker assumes the mantle of the divine, and to disagree with an offered prayer is akin to sin."

I'm telling you to pray and it's a sin if you disagree with me, so if you pray, it'll be a sin to disagree with you.  You'll assume the mantle of the divine, just like I do.

The only thing this is coherent about is that there is absolutely no way that praying provides anything else *other than* the mantle of the divine that you could possibly share with anybody else.  None whatsoever.  Mantle of the divine or nothing, that's it.  We say so.

And they don't cite any people, real or fictional, who pray that actually believe this.  They just claim everybody believes it.  That's definitely a fantasy and nobody is allowed to question it.  That's what the infidel is into.

Then they force everybody to put cloth on their face, despite the fact that it does nothing.  Kids are also targeted with this, as is the fact that all the schools closed down, meaning they aren't learning anything.  As adults, we forget what it's like, as kids who don't know anything and are physically growing every month, this is simply cutting them down.  The masters want to show their authority and that's the way it goes, sucks to be the kids.

And the rulers are only demanding more and more of this, forcing this poison into every child no matter what.  The people who manufactured it can't actually prove that it does anything, so the government ignored its own rules to approve it.

They're just cranking this through and forcing anybody who knows better to stay silent.  That's a huge disaster waiting to happen even if there's no other problems with the "vaccine," but there are.  It's not like they tested it to see what the result was in six months, a year, five years, ten years...  And there's all those sudden deaths of young, healthy people.  What a coincidence.

But the government's keeping the "emergency powers" it grabbed because of the virus, so that all works out.  At least for them.

They spend less time driving trucks to ship supplies across the country by focusing on these twitter threads about transgenders.  Less time manufacturing building supplies or construction.  They've never noticed how much thinking about these fake pronouns distracts them from maintaining an airplane or communications site.

All they can do is try to keep their followers in line, *if* they have actual followers.  People who *might* be their followers under normal circumstances see everything getting worse and these creatures have nothing better to do than focus on false pronouns of made-up genders.  That's not going to stop China and Russia's next invasions, much less starvation, the loss of fuel and communication, etc.

This is what I mean about leftists focusing on connection with others.  This keeps them from actually doing anything and reinforces their belief in collectivist superiority.

An amusing story from a week or so ago about the disaster being imposed on us by people who want to ban the use of gasoline.

There was a competition in Colorado between an electric pick-up and a gas-powered pick-up, each attached to a 3-ton trailer.  The official estimates said that the gas truck would make it 264 miles before needing a refill while electric truck would get 160 miles.  The electric truck hoped to make it to Pueblo, Colorado, 150 miles away, and be recharged.

Six miles into the trip, the electric truck's computer recalculated the potential difference, it would now only make 150 miles.  So the plan had to be changed and they would recharge at Colorado Springs, about 100 miles away.

But 50 miles later, as they were leaving Denver, the computer recalculated again and was now down to 20% battery charge, so they had to turn around to get back to Denver.  They made it to a charging station at 9%.  However, you can't just do a drive-through like at a gas station, electric chargers are set up at the edges of parking lots and aren't places where you can bring your large trailer.  So they had to block part of the parking lot to recharge, not endearing themselves to anybody else who wanted to get through the parking lot.

Meanwhile the gas-powered truck was able to make it to the target in Pueblo, turn around and drive back to the starting point, all on the same tank of fuel.

The sponsors did the math, the cost per mile of travel for the electric truck was @60% of the gas-powered truck's cost, but it also made a lot fewer miles.  Hauling heavy items increases the need to fuel and the computer wasn't even able to calculate the requirements.  That's simply not how to transport massive amounts of supplies.

Colorado is known to have one or two hills, those require more power to drive up, particularly when you've got three tons attached to your vehicle.  Colorado also has a few winds, the wind-resistance requires more power to move through.

Electric motors do get back some energy when the brake is used, however it's not used very often when driving on a highway.  But they don't make send engine heat through the vents to use as a heater so when you're driving through the mountains, if you want the heat on, that costs more energy that could be used to drive.  The air-conditioner can also use up power, but at least the battery can charge when it's hot out.  Lithium batteries can't be charged in the cold so they will use their own power to make themselves warm enough to charge.

There is one lithium mine in the United States, Nevada to be specific.  Every other lithium battery leftists demand you buy will have to be brought from other countries.

It's been a long day.  It's been a long week.  I'm not sure how much stuff I'll be able to write today.  There's some news articles I've been thinking about and I might have had some insight on leftism.

Ok, I've always been a very self-absorbed person, focused on what I do and what's important to me.  But I've also realized that nobody else thinks that's important or if they do, it's because it's what they're interested in.  You may have noticed that I use the first-person a lot but no matter how close you've followed all my writing, you don't actually know that much about me.

So it occurred to me today that this is what separates normal people from leftists.  They are focused on other people and deny that it's anything to do with their individual selves, even though it's their individual selves that actually do anything.

For instance, I have no idea how many people actually follow any of my writing.  I hope it influences them for the better but that's not why I do it.  I write because I like writing.  It would be different if I wrote specifically to influence others.

And this works out through most-if-not-all of human progress.  No one becomes an athlete because they want to influence others.  Constructing a building or performing brain surgery, the desire to do that work has to outweigh anything else or it's not going to be any good.

This is what makes freedom work.  You're not interested in what I do.  If you're interested in what I'm saying here, it's because you see a benefit to it.  I'd like you to pay for my books, but that's not why I wrote them.  We can each continue our respective interests and have little or nothing to do with each other for the rest of our lives.  That's freedom.

Collectivists don't like to accept that but their focus on other people always seems to lead them to cancel any individual they don't like, and blame any group that individual is a part of.  It's over-simplification, all to impose a connection to others and, oddly enough, the leftist always gets to make the decisions for them.

I've noticed that the leftist rarely uses any skills to fix things.  They are capable of learning and I assume some of them can do have genuine ability.  It's just that they tend to ignore that and focus on other people, particularly those who agree with them.  That way they can sit around and accomplish nothing while claiming how everyone is so oppressed.

Tell them people are starving, they'll say what should be changed.  They won't produce any food, they'll just say what should be changed.  Only if their commands are followed will they get involved.

So of course he went to a place he claims to hate, and not just Israel.  I wonder if he actually flew from one country to the other, since Trump was the one who established that.  He did throw away the promise to open an embassy in "East Jerusalem," so there's that.

He's also begging Saudi Arabia to produce more earth-killing oil to cover his own US policy while giving Iran as much money as possible to take over the Middle East.  No complaints about Saudi's war with Yemen either.  And so far, he hasn't convinced any of the nations that finally recognized Israel's existence to recant, although he's probably tried.

Biden's trying to throw away the Abraham Accords, which Trump made possible.  Not clear how much success he'll have there but he's definitely working on that.  Or at least the people who are in charge of him do.

No idea if any of this is true but it seems very strange.  It's not like he's poor, if he really wants to go to Ukraine and do something, he could get an airplane.  Lots of other rich and famous people have gone there in the last several months, so it's not like there's any danger.

If it's not true, maybe he was there doing whatever - which apparently hasn't been reported - and came home on vacation.  That's a possibility.

If it is true, what hell is this about?  What are leftists so desperate for that they'll pretend to be doing something about Ukraine because it's such a big deal?  If it's an actual war, start acting like it for real.  A lot of Americans in the last couple decades have a lot of experience with actual war zones and you don't get to make stuff up there the way the media is doing this, so what are they after?

Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa have formed BRICS, and they're already discussing Saudi Arabis, Turkey and Egypt joining.  Oil producers with large non-white populations, that's a huge part of the world population right there, all organizing against us in a conflict for fuel.

Turkey has waited 23 years to join the EU who have suddenly gotten around to considering it immediately.  It's the linchpin of Europe/Asia.  Meanwhile Saudi has Mecca and Egypt is where the world's history started, these aren't small unimportant countries.

What they're not doing is believing in pseudo-viruses making sure everybody uses the correct made-up gender pronouns.  People who do that are just destroying their economies, which depend on BRICS members for fuel.

It's official now, inflation is up over 9.1%.  These prices make people poorer and that's how our rulers like it.  Because they care so much about the poor.
