One thing that sane people think when they look at leftists is that they *must* know what they're doing.  If they knew they were ignorant about something, they wouldn't insist they know best.  But if they were lying, wouldn't they realize when it's time to stop?  The really insane ones probably can't stop, but I think we should start looking at how many really are ignorant.

I don't get how or why that happens but these donors are very rich and surrounded by people who are paid to tell them everything.  They'd have to be aware that hustlers are out there, just because they're so rich.  So how can these people continue to function at that level and not see ages ago how braindead Biden was?  What does it take to keep them from looking at Biden for the last several years and see he's not playing with a full deck?  You give all this money and power to the guy, wouldn't you want to know if that's a good idea?

I'm sure there any very detailed laws and regulations regarding donation.  Hollywood probably looks for ways around it, which might explain some of the problems their rich actors and producers are facing.  But most of these people are supposed to be competent businessmen, you'd really expect them to know better, and they're starting to ask why they didn't.

Whatever's going underway is too complicated to figure out.  It's possible Trump and co. are trying to get rid of Johnson, or they're trying to make use of him, or they can take or leave him so it depends on what others are doing.  What schemes are underway for January 6th?

My guess is the certification is supposed to go forth as normal, but I'm not always right.  If it doesn't, what's going to happen?  I'm sure Johnson's signature is legally required, unless he's replaced as Speaker before then, or unless there are second and third-string replacements ready to go.  So that's part of the issue, what plans do both sides have for this?

And what other plans have the rulers come up with since the last "January 6"?  How have they been holding together in the last month and a half?  The left is probably breaking down in general and especially members on Congress.

Then there's the reality of failure.  Trump won the election.  Ok, there's rules to process this, but that's on Congress.  It's not like Biden can still pretend to be relevant if those rules aren't followed, there's still Trump to deal with, and the majority of voters.  The Uniparty doesn't sound like they're tough enough to stand up against all of us just to say Trump can't be POTUS just because of some minor rule.  The Uniparty's supporters on the other hand...

Most of the new info we're getting comes from this rich Chinese chick, at least the info that comes from someone putting their name out in public.  Nothing suspicious about that.  She's probably not making this up but she could be putting out only what she finds useful.  In this case, the Bidens will burn everything down to get revenge on their fellow Democrats who betrayed them.  Which is what they were already doing to the country, so they can do it to each other.

If Biden is still capable of anything, it's probably his connection to the 'deep state.'  They've all been spying on each other so they know who's been using inside information.  As far as we know, Mr. Nancy Pelosi has never made a bad investment, he's probably rich enough to afford his own home security.  And they're not the only ones in Congress with those benefits.

Obama and the Clintons somehow became very rich after leaving the White House.  Members of Congress somehow keep getting rich, especially when their family members get to take executive jobs and boards.  Biden could go after all of them and what are they going to do, reveal details about partying with Hunter Biden?

And this won't be all.  There was a recent report about Hollywood celebrities getting lots of money from covid relief programs.  They probably also got paid by BLM, global warming policies and for all we know, AIDS research.  I get the impression the elites have been doing this for a long time.  It wasn't just about spreading whatever the latest perversion was, they wanted to get paid, and they've gotten away with it so far.

Still not paying too much attention, have my own problems, but it sounds like this is a much shorter bill that is normal for these pork addicts.  Haven't seen any info but my guess is A.I. was used to simplify the bill, although someone would have to specify which junk to leave out altogether.  As I write this, I don't know when it will go to the Senate but since the government is supposed to shut down tonight, it's possible the Senate has already approved of it.

For all the complaining, not a single Democrat voted against it, but a few dozen Republicans did.  This might be showing who is or isn't in the Uniparty, or maybe some Republicans have actual principles to stand on.  I assume it's the same ridiculous spending as always, maybe slightly less, but Trump just wants to get it through for a little breathing space and then he'll really get started.

So the House Democrats are just talk, not really standing by their so-called beliefs.  Now we'll see what the Senate does.  Then there's Biden.  Reportedly he and Harris were suddenly called to stay at DC while this was going on.  No idea if there's any government reason for that or if they (snicker) were involved in negotiations.  Maybe it was just to be part of a farewell orgy, who knows?

He's probably quite entertained.  He gets to take part in negotiations, he's not officially responsible for the results.  He can see how everyone behaves under this pressure and whatever plans he's prepared can be pushed as hard as possible.  Few people were expecting to see this happen as 2025 begins.

And the left keeps running around with their heads cut off.  In public, they're just doubling down on the *woke* agenda, which is what caused them to lose all these elections.  In private, there are probably people trying to argue that they have to stop this and it just gets worse.  This may be why Disney is getting so much attention, from the movie failures to The View arguments.

Interestingly, a number of actors, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Sharon Stone and others, have all come out and basically all said the same thing, that people need to listen to actors and not the media, they're special.  Either they're demonstrating their cult beliefs or they're being ordered to push this by whoever their master is.  Other big actors like Harrison Ford and Jim Carrey have suddenly admitted that they're going broke.  What have they been doing all these years with their immense wealth and why has it suddenly started drying up?

Then there's the sudden attacks on "President Elon Musk."  WTF?  Did Putin lose the election too?  But they just go along with this anyway.  There's still a month to go before Trump takes over and they've already lost it this badly, on every level.  What they do if the government shuts down, and what will the people in charge of them do?

How much has Jill been calling the shots all along?  Not just for the past few years, but throughout her husband's career?  There is a species of wife who makes all the decisions in the background while her husband is the target.  It's one reason few women are great politicians, they want the power but not the risk.  One could make an argument that this was Bill and Hillary.

Either way, Jill would certainly want revenge.  This is the internal conflict among Democrats at high levels.  It looks like Mr. Nancy Pelosi's investments are going to start being leaked - marriage being a convenient way for a couple to pretend they aren't gay - and the Obamas seem to be staying as far away from publicity as possible.  I'd have to check but have they been mentioned anywhere since the election?

I've heard this a couple of times in the last six months, but can't find where my sources were, but Biden was reportedly the one who pushed Harris into the race.  This seems very unlikely but from a certain perspective, that could explain a lot.  Nobody wanted her and maybe they had a plan to get rid of her, but that would be ruined by his immediate endorsement.  Like it or not, she was the most obvious replacement so unless the coup wanted all this to go public, they'd have to go along with the decision.

Not even sure how much Harris ever really wanted to be POTUS.  I'm sure she fantasized about it, but she already got all the perks of being in office with none of the responsibilities.  When Biden was being pushed out, there was a report of her sitting on an airplane, stunned at what she'd just been told, and perhaps she had been told there was no choice, she was getting in the race.  She'd gotten to be pretend-veep from a one-night-stand with Biden at the first 2020 debate, a lot of women would settle for that.

They don't go all in, but they're slowly moving towards admitting that the things most of pointed out for the last four years were true, Biden was deep into senility by 2020.  Whatever positive thing there was to say about him when he left office in 2016, he was old, weak and sitting around doing nothing for four years.  Good thing they had fake-virus to use as an excuse to not bother campaigning in public.

This might be a weapon used by Nancy, the Obamas or someone else, but it may be the media suddenly realizing that they might need to inform the public once in a while.  Otherwise they look like government propaganda.  That may be fine under normal circumstances, being pawns of the leftist masters, but at this point, they'd to indicate which master they're serving.  As a result, they'll be targeted by the masters they're turning against.

That's one of the rarely-noticed benefits of the First Amendment.  The idea that the government can censor you for "disinformation" is tyrannical enough.  The American Revolution was fought against a king who wanted to make all the decisions [with parliament approval.]  The Bill of Rights and the First Amendment showed how those decisions couldn't be made by any part of government compete against other parts.

Do you want to promote Nancy Pelosi's rhetoric and then have the Obamas win overall?  Or vice-versa?  Or the Clintons?  Or the Bidens?  Or has George Soros already decided what you will do?  If freedom of speech doesn't include the right to say Biden is old and senile, then it's worthless.  But that freedom wasn't a kindly gift from our government, it was endowed by our creator, and don't forget that.

Not really clear what this means.  The House was eager to pass a 1500-page bill that was the usual leftist crap.  I may be mistaken but I thought Trump opposed the bill, then said he supported it.  It's not clear if he was in support of the same bill, or a modified one or a completely different one.  The article says it's the same bill, but then why would most Republicans vote for it?  It funds the government, why would Democrats oppose it for any reason other than that Trump supports it?

It's probably both good and bad, but we're going to see a change in how the process works.  For one thing, it was noted that A.I. can read these 1500 pages in a half-second, so things like Congress voting themselves a 40% raise will be found without having to dig through everything in the few hours available before the vote.  Not sure I'm comfortable with A.I. doing that, but it is what it is.

Then we're going to see Trump as a negotiator.  This is what the Art of the Deal was building towards.  I think he likes negotiations more than he cares about the results, which has its down side, but here we are.  If they want to keep the government from shutting down, they need to come up with something fast, so we'll see how Trump does on-the-spot.

For some reason, I'm reminded of early on in his presidency, Trump insisted on obeying the law and making Jerusalem the location for the US embassy in Israel.  The law was passed in 1995 and had never been followed.  Eventually Trump backed down and signed the six-month waiver like his predecessors but made it clear this was a one-time thing.  And it was.

I think that's what he's doing here with the funding bill.  There might be more aspects, getting Democrats to oppose it just because he supports it, but I'd doubt he really believes in the bill.  Either pass it as a starting point and he'll dig in on what it means and how to fix it, or dump it and negotiate with him on what's needed to pass a real funding bill.

What does the uniparty really bring to the table?  Notice how nobody's asking where Joe Biden is these days or why he's not participating.  If a bill gets passed, Trump will probably be standing behind Biden when he signs it.  Harris will be there too, but she'll be under the table so we won't see her.

It's not like Ukraine has anything to negotiate on, at least as far we know.  There's the thousand years of conflict between the two regions, sure, but no one cares about that.  They can't win but they've wasted years of trying.  They've never bothered to join NATO who is trying to take over the war and has been funding it all this time anyway, so they need to be part of the negotiations.  NATO's also having problems in their own nations so they might want to stop being part of this embarrassing loss.

I get the impression this war's going to come to a sudden halt very soon.  Maybe before Trump takes over, maybe slightly afterward, but I think everybody involved is running out of justification to keep it going and a lot of things are suddenly going to change.  We'll have to see how many changes are actually for the better and how much drive us on through WWIII.  I'm trying to be optimistic but not finding many solid reasons for that.  YMMV.

So here we are.  Superman crashes in an arctic wilderness.  Shots of someone who looks dorky but not much like Clark.  The music seems overdone but eventually you recognize the theme song and there is some appeal, no denying that.  Lois looks ok, I guess.  Then wounded freezing Superman whistles.  There's can be only one possible response but will they do it right?

Can't tell.  I've watched it a couple times and don't see any sign of a very very good dog.  The dangers and threats might be interesting, might be generic cgi superhero garbage.  We do not need a movie with any other supercharacters, but we're stuck with this one.  Is that supposed to be Guy Gardner going after Supes?  If they're going to do the Guy Gardner I expect them to do, this movie deserves to be dead on arrival.

The trailer does give off a sense of hope though.  I'd like to deny that but I can't.  At the moment, I'd say there's a good chance I'll actually go see this, making it the first time since 2020 I've seen a movie I hadn't seen a zillion times before and the first trip to a movie theater since 2019.  Might change my mind depending on what comes out, but there is no denying that we need a hero.  There's some major potential flaws in this trailer, but it's also possible they can do something worth watching, assuming it's not already too late.

I assume he's not really pushing for this.  I have no idea what Trump has said about the North American Free Trade Agreement but this could just be a 21st century version and I don't mean that in a good way.  I hope he's doing it partially because it's humorous and partially to renegotiate trade policies and get Canada to realize that they don't have a whole lot of advantage here.

What I really hope is that he's using this as an opportunity to push more of this nationalism around the world.  Just here in the US, the crucial step was probably that he campaigned in blue states and cities that he had no chance of winning.  I think that, more than anything, brought people the realization that 'we're not alone.'  [pause for Breakfast Company clip.  Where was I?]

As our nearest neighbor, Canada desperately needs that now.  They're also tied to Britain and Europe so that can also have more influence.  Our rulers are making us miserable, but at least I'm American so hope is natural, along with the lust for sexy sexy freedom.  Other countries don't have that.  Even those who were founded by western civilization have lost so much that they might be finished as nations.

If there's any chance to reverse this, that's what Trump is doing here.  I really hope he's not serious about trying to make them join us.  If it was anybody other than Trump, I'd assume it was just a joke, but, well...

One of those things about Trump that even his supporters can't understand, where the hell does he find the time for all this?  She's just giving an anecdote, calling a few days before the election because she wanted a sit-down interview about the MSG rally and how racist he is.  He said no, but she stresses that he actually answered the phone when she called.

Biden and Harris were surrounded by countless layers of people to prevent anybody from getting through to them and Trump, who's running for the exact same job they have (theoretically) just heard the phone ring and answered it.  'Who is this?  What do you want?  No.  Goodbye.'

She says his statement was more "colorful," is that comment racist?.  No real reason to believe her specific details but the basics are probably true, illustrating the mystery of Trump.  The Secret Service probably makes sure most people can't do that, but as this woman shows, there's still a lot of people who could call at any time.

Trump's an old man and very few of us could function like that at any age, but the left is just not capable of conceiving this, much less behaving that way on a normal basis.  Elites and subordinates all want to be protected from just answering a phone and hearing someone they disagree with.  They aspire to rule just to prevent such things from happening to them, although obviously they're allowed to do that to others.

Of course, it's standard DC procedure.  Biden's email address was under a fake name so he knew - or his puppet master knew - what he was doing.  The special counsel didn't even investigate this.  Go after one Democrat and you'd have to go after others and there'd be no end to that.  Maybe this is why Hillary Clinton hasn't said much in public for the last month or so, she knew what her insecure private server got away with.

I still think this may have been what Trump set up for the Mar-a-Lago raid.  Just my speculation, but I suspect he'd already declassified whatever documents he had, so there was no crime to investigate, and whoever saw those documents would see what they needed to keep the public from learning or it would be very bad.  This is probably why the left is getting so desperate.

I haven't been following Liz Cheney's problems but she's under investigation for similar reasons.  And she was such a big supporter of Harris, go figure.  This could even explain all the high-ranking officials who made sure to step out and insist that they wanted Harris to win for some reason.  They're under less surveillance than Biden, Hillary or Cheney, so it's even easier for them to give away secrets.

I assume Trump will pardon/has already pardoned Biden.  Like it or not, I don't think anything will happen to him.  The closest he'll get to punishment is that he has to spend the rest of his life being Joe Biden, and isn't even aware of that.  But most of the others...  They're worried.  They know what they're doing, they know things they shouldn't know and they're getting more desperate every day.  What options are still open for them?

Strange how the drones have suddenly dropped from the news.  Is that because they've all gone away or because we've just taken them as a given in our lives nowadays?  Or maybe government just told people to stop asking and, well, that's what government does.  But Joe Biden finally showed that he was aware of the situation.  And what did he say?

Well that settles everything.  No information given why he was even allowed outside or why media was allowed to be in his presence.  If he'd ever been the actual POTUS, this would just be embarrassing.  As it is, this just shows the contempt the people in charge have for us, and for Biden.  How could anyone claim to have any respect for the guy and let him be treated like this?

There's been no evidence, or even amusing suggestions in the last couple days, so I'll go with the theory that they're looking for something nuclear.  Either that or it's just a way to give the populous some experience with how we're being watched over by sky creatures with abilities far beyond our conception.  This would be a valid way to remove as much as possible for human being to believe in, making us all helpless to the masters.  You don't see Biden questioning it, do you?

They are so dedicated to supporting Ukraine as they've done for the last three years that they don't want Ukraine involved in the peace talks.  That's not how peace talks are supposed to work.  The nations at war are the ones who are supposed to have peace talks.  Why would the US be the one to talk to Russia about ending the war?  Oh.

Part of the issue is NATO.  Obviously Russia can't accept Ukraine joining, even if NATO was willing to lower its standards so that was possible.  But the other Europeans in NATO aren't willing to go up against Russia unless the US is in charge and doing all the work and this really doesn't make the rest of NATO look relevant in any meaningful way.

Then there's the problem of Ukraine being involved.  Russia and the US would need to be extremely wary of each other for any negotiation to be possible and Ukraine has no incentive to go along with that.  They could give out any secret they want for any reason, making the negotiations worthless.  They'd be willing to leak why the US is so relevant in this.  It's not like they have much left to lose.

This is what Trump is being left with.  There's probably a reason Russia only invades Ukraine when Democrats are in charge.  Even worse, it's possible the left is just pushing this as another excuse to attack Trump.  If he pulls off some successful negotiations, they'll whine that he's just Putin's pawn.

Russia is a nuclear power, an issue that must be considered.  They're also building alliances around the world with BRICS, including over half the population, very few of whom are white.  But Russia's really not more than a regional power.  They've given up on Syria - although it's not clear if they were totally defeated or just not interested enough in keeping power there - and wouldn't be able to get far in the rest of Eurasia for similar reasons.  Paris in 1815 and Berlin in 1945 are the best they've ever gotten and they probably won't do that again any time soon.

The nutter is wacky enough that one can almost hope he's serious, just as a way to finally get things started.  But maybe he really has an... "army"... ready to take over DC if he doesn't get what he wants.  Wouldn't that be something you want to watch?  90% of DC is Democrat, what are they going to do about it, this guy's on their side!

Things are still going to get worse.  Maybe we'll be lucky and Trump has plans in place, but Civil War 2.0 is still underway, so maybe this guy is citing December 20 for some other reason.  I do hope it turns out to be an amusingly ignorable event, but it's going to be growing anyway.  We'll just have to see what reaction other leftists have to this.

They aren't removing the character, just any details about specifically being trans.  This means they'll double down on the code words used for those 'in the know.'  Not sure if this is a big deal or something that's not worth fighting over.  I'm in the audience of those who cover Disney out of curiosity, it's not like I'm an actual customer.

This does indicate a serious change, that they're going to stop deliberately pushing this agenda.  That said, it's possible Pixar basically made that decision themselves and Disney just didn't stop them.  Disney's a large ship, they can't just turn around on the spot.  But they are getting desperate.  Little if anything on the horizon looks like it has much of a chance, then there's all the definite expensive bombs getting closer and closer.

Marvel has no place to go, Star Wars is a walking corpse, the characters that built Disney are totally ignored, all the other business disasters, but the people in charge won't leave.  They had to have been convinced the election could be stolen for Harris so they have no back-up plans.  There must be a sizeable number of executives that believe they just have to double their efforts, but if they can't do it, no one else can either.  They don't believe the brand is poison so they want everyone else to partake in it, they don't need to ask if we want it.

Based on the anecdotes mentioned here, I'd guess he's exaggerating about being dead in a year.  He does cover Biden's senile idiocy [idiotic senility?] with various tales.  Someone who acts like this isn't capable of being in charge of anything, and even people who only knew him from the occasional phone call could see how bad he was a year or two ago.  So who's been in charge?

Moreover, the people around Biden would have to deal with each other to get anything done, rather than maintain security by only telling their boss.  So they'd all be in on each other's top secret issues.  This isn't how a 'need to know' is determined.  My clearance was only 'secret' and that's just because I worked with people who had 'top secret,' so I'm just speculating, but this is an example of how our enemies have weakened this country.

Even though it's Joe Biden and he deserves every bit of suffering he gets, it's still repulsive that they would abuse an old man like this.  The level of people we have conducting our national security is horrifying and there's a lot more of them all the way down the line.  That's not counting the foreign influences they would have.  These are the sort of people driving the 'new world order,' they probably aspire to grow up to be the new Joe Biden.

She'd been getting a bit of press recently for trying to take this position.  Then Nancy Pelosi, who's still in the hospital far away, made some calls and suddenly the old man gets the job without a problem.  It's like decades of experience actually mean something compared to checking all the boxes of DEI hires.  Or maybe Nancy just doesn't trust women.  She used to be one.

Partially AOC is trying to move up in the party, especially now that there's some openings.  Partially she just thinks she's as qualified as Kamala Harris.  I'm sure there's also the leftists seeing a problem and looking for ways to protect themselves.  The House Oversight Committee has some authority over the government, so it would probably be used against Trump and anyone else they don't like, so she'd want credit for that.

But the fact that Nancy could impose this, even in her condition, indicates that she's still a threat and hasn't decided to give up power yet.  It might not be a problem for the time being, it's Christmas and Congress is being paid to do nothing, but that could change in January.  Or they might be getting these fights underway now while nobody's paying attention, especially the younglings against the old farts.

As far as I know, there's been no official statement that begun, the drone war has.  You'd think whoever's in charge would want to get information before Donald Trump speaks up, but we're a day or two late for that.  So that just leads speculation and an increasing awareness that we can't trust our government, because that's how the government wants it.

So this statement seems the closest we've gotten to actual clues.  Someone managed to steal radioactive material and either they don't know who or they do but are pretending they don't.  It doesn't just fall out of the shipping container and no one notices.  Expecting the worst, I'll assume they were transporting active nuclear weapons or materials to make them.  Maybe I'll be wrong.

Keep in mind, there's still a decent chance it's something else.  Maybe a test to see how people react to things like this.  And there's other possibilities, maybe it's the aliens from Mars spying the invading aliens from Pluto.  We don't know, we may never know and there's nothing any of us can do about it.  Makes me think of when the Roman Empire was collapsing and people were eager to cling to this new religion that showed up because it offered hope.  Life in Joe Biden's America doesn't do that.

This just shows how people and organizations are falling apart with no guidance from the leadership they've relied on.  An Ohio Air Force base shut down airspace because of the drones.  The New York governor is nuts.  She's nuts about the drones too.  It's long been noted that trust is difficult to get and easy to lose.  Now who are Democrats-in-charge supposed to turn to?

One celebrity has finally taken the lead and reached the Fifth Stage of Grief, "acceptance."  Maybe the guy who keeps beating you isn't as stupid as you've spent years saying he is.  Admitting this on CNN is definitely an accomplishment, not putting him down for that, but there is still a long way to go.  If Trump is actually not-stupid, then what does that say about his supporters?  And if some or many or most or all of his supporters are non-stupid, what does that say about his opponents?

Just the notion that they might come to this realization is too big for me to contemplate.  It's like the left, or at least Van Jones and his ilk, are on the edge of seeing something more to life than promoting leftism.  What are they supposed to do now?  Learn something new?  See how leftism fails?  How are they going to get viewers on CNN with that?  How could they even trust any of the leftists they've known in their lives?

I'm sure many others are having these realizations.  The effect will be different, but the Democratic Party is going to have a similar reaction to what Trump supporters have felt since election day.  Those who saw problems with this approach but stayed silent will have less of a reason to be quiet.  They'll either speak up or walk out.  Those who were in charge and made this happen will suddenly realize that they have no one to fall back on and it's a long way down.

The in-fighting is going to get more public.  So far the Clintons don't get much attention and Nancy Pelosi is conveniently absent.  So is Joe Biden but he doesn't count.  I still think Harris is going to be installed as Nancy's replacement because it's more convenient than running for California governor and that's the only other option to show why anybody thought she was qualified to be a candidate in the first place.  And then again in 2024.

So Obama's the most immediate target for his fellow allies.  He contributes as little as possible, he just votes "present" but he's just right there.  He didn't leave DC when Trump took office which, to be fair, he'd have known better than almost anybody at that point.  But it sounds like he's been manipulating everything he could.  Arguably for leftism but maybe just for his own side's profit.  After all these years, there really isn't much to point to in the way of progress.  Even Obamacare is being brought back as causing people to get shot to death for obeying it.

He kept his staff around Biden to maximize control there, and I think keeping them around was the reason he finally accepted Harris as candidate.  He kept his influence, even if it didn't build anything useful.  But then what defense does he have when the knives turn against him?  Will he bring a gun to a knife fight?  What if the others have guns too?

Well there's a guy who's ready to get to work.  Whatever else you can say about Trump, he's not lazy.  No official response, but the word is Hamas is taking this seriously.  If there's any hostages left alive, Hamas is trying to figure out how to get rid of them without being caught.  If you really want to go 'conspiracy theory' and assume this was all a set-up, it means that's why Israel has waited so long to do anything, getting ready for what Trump's bringing to the table.

He's doing a press conference!  He just went out and took a bunch of questions for over an hour.  No word on those questions having to be approved before they were allowed, it's like he just let people talk and he responded with whatever came to mind.  A brief look at the questions and I don't find much of interest, mostly other current events stuff, but I'm just flabbergasted by the fact that he can do this like it's normal.

He's put out a number of other statements over the last few weeks that also look like he's already taken charge.  When was the last time Joe Biden did something like this?  The 1980s?  Or whatsername?  A lot of other western governments seem to be floundering, like they were really counting on the 'new world order' to save them.  Or at least the US.

I've said nice and bad things about Romney.  This is just an initial impression, nothing to base it on, but I think he's being basically serious about this.  He's old, he's not going back to Congress or politics, no point in continuing to attack Trump, especially since he won big time.  Maybe he's reached the "acceptance" stage of grief, maybe he's smart enough to realize that they lost and there's no point whining about it in public.

It is interesting to see how the left is reacting to this.  Democraticunderground is full of people who are bragging about cutting off loved ones and close friends for being evil nazis.  Like Romney, they're old, but they're willing to spend their remaining years alone because there's no way they could be wrong about anything.

For those who've been following me, you'll notice that I have much more respect for Trump now than I did in 2020 which was much more respect than I had in 2016 when it was just 'anybody but Hillary.'  Most of us can't even conceive of what he's had to put up with for the last eight years.  A lot of people really do like him, but from my perspective, he's more of someone who knows he's not likable so he compensates with competence.  You don't want him around you but you're thankful he's there, doing what needs to be done.

Just the change in mood over the last six weeks has been amazing and we're barely halfway to inauguration day.  There's still time for a lot more things to go wrong.  So whether he's being serious about it or not, I will at least say thank you Mitt Romney, for realizing people really don't need you and going away for your wealthy old age.  And if you went to Epstein's island or P. Diddy parties, we'll get to that.

No he didn't.  Well, maybe the left is whining about it, I wouldn't know, but I watched the clip.  It wasn't funny.  Three lines that were slightly amusing and that was it.  "Could have happened to a nicer person" about Trump's win, "nine New Yorkers that didn't vote for him" was kinda amusing and the Bill Clinton insult wasn't really funny, just a surprise.

It's a small clip on a laptop, but I was amazed at how young Rock looked though.  He sounded older but didn't look it.  That may have been part of the reason I didn't care for the monologue, on my computer he still resembles the guy I saw on SNL way back when, but didn't match with the old cranky guy voice.  I don't know if that was deliberate or if he was trying to act like he did back then or if the material just sucked, but that threw me off.

The rest of it came off as rambling from one place to another with little connection, and a number of references which old people like me didn't get.  Didn't the Mike Tyson event happen months ago, why bring it up now?  But I suppose leftists might be upset, if they have a clue who Chris Rock is.  That guy Will Smith punched at the Oscars or something?

It'll be interesting to see if the left reacts to this, but otherwise it was a disappointment.  Rock's time on SNL was when I watched the show every week, or at all, and he wasn't my favorite but always had a solid delivery and range for all the skits.  I've seen very little of his career otherwise.

He did something in New Jack City which I know I saw once but remember nothing and I was very pleasantly surprised by his addition to the Lethal Weapon franchise.  The scene with him and Joe Pesci is always one of the first things I think of from any of those movies.  Well there's more than one scene but if you know, you know.

Yes it's a joke, the proper title is "Man of the Year."  But blame Time Magazine for that.  Every year we get told that the title makes no reference to quality or positivity, just a representation of what the year was about.

Put it this way, Don Lemon, take all the tv footage of you in 2024, remove every reference to Trump, and what have you got left?  *That's* how you get to be "man of the year."  This is how he got elected three two times, thanks to you and all your media work for the last eight years.

Back in 2004, when GWB won his second term, the left was bonkers for a couple weeks and then suddenly went silent for a while.  When they started up again, it looked like they had somehow managed to accept it and, to their credit, were able to move on.  I give them credit but it really came across at the time like they had gone silent until they were given orders and were less obnoxiously anti-Bush afterwards.  He was on his way out.

I would think they could do that with Trump but so far, it doesn't look like it.  With GWB, that may have been the 'depression' stage of grief.  I think they're doing that now but it's much more chaotic and unrestrained.  They're much quieter than expected but not in a way that suggests they're coming to terms with this.  There's probably a reason, they still have to put up with people like Lemon, and the assassins that they hope are out there.

A CEO for a military-contracted drone manufacturer speculates that they're not here to harm, they're US drones looking for something.  His guess is radioactive or nuclear, citing the designs being used, the range and so on.  You can decide for yourself how educated that guess is, assuming he's telling the truth.  I really don't know, I'm just including this FYI.

The New York governor complains that cities and states don't have enough authority to do anything, so they have to rely on the federal government, which is run by that bastard Trump.  Wait, is he there yet?  Well then the federal government cannot be blamed for anything if Democrats are in charge.  Shut up, woman, and just do what you're told.  The fed has spoken.

What if this is all a prank by the government to get people scared?  What if the drones were all programmed to do this months ago on the premise that Kamala Harris would step in and save us?  Add that to the list of possibilities, along with it being a BRICS weapon or something from Epstein island or any other conspiracy theory.  Maybe they're filming the intro to the next Avengers movie!

Remember when Biden was running for office and promised a return to normalcy?  Maybe some day we'll be able to laugh about that.

One of those things that so obvious, nobody mentions it.  Except Trump.  She didn't do interviews.  He says this in an interview with Time Magazine, who really doesn't like him, yet here he is anyway.  This is why she's not getting the "Man of the Year" cover.

I don't know if politicians in general have lost the knack for it but Democrats in particular seem to not be fans of doing interviews.  Some are better than others, especially when they're running for office.  In 2008, I forget who made the comment, but Hillary was guaranteed the nomination but Obama went all over talking to everyone he could find.  In my lifetime, the only other example as good at this as Trump was Bill Clinton, who just seemed born to go out and deal with everybody.  He'd have probably gone out to talk to Republican groups if they'd let him.

Trump talks to everyone too.  He's sitting with Time Magazine.  He spent three hours with Joe Rogen.  Throw him a question, he'll answer with whatever comes to mind, no matter who you are.  He loves this.  Meanwhile Harris ran away from campaigning to fly to NYC and make a two minute appearance on Saturday Night Live, does anybody remember that?  No, why would they?  Then a week or so before the election, she took a day or two off to prepare for one single interview.  I'd have to look that up to find any details.

It was obvious that she couldn't do interviews, so whoever was in charge kept her away from those as much as possible.  If you remember my posts from a couple months ago, I was convinced that the election theft had to be totally nailed down because there was no way to convince people she won on popularity.  She'd have to go out in public to get any of that.

Lindy Li is rich, female and Chinese, so obviously she's totally trustworthy.  That said, it's good explanation of the problems the left is having now.  Their obsession with Trump keeps backfiring and making things worse for them.  It's fun to watch but there's a point where you have to wish they could get a grip.  But then they wouldn't be leftists.

The need to make government omnipresent is an effect of this, or maybe the cause.  Simply having other things in your life that are more important makes you mentally healthier.  Family and friends are the most obvious choices, there's also religion, even hobbies or sports.  This morning I did something I almost never do, an episode of a tv show from nearly 30 years ago came to mind, so I watched it.  A complete waste of time but it was my decision, no government needed.

But the left does not have that.  Is it a mental illness, cult behavior, demon-possession?   I don't know if it's fixable, but it can at least be minimized.  Leftism itself can only prosper in a society among rich and lazy people, so it was virtually non-existent for most of history.  I still have a theory that this was basically what the 20th century was there to demonstrate.  It's also why leftists can't do much outside big cities.

So what are Democrats supposed to do about it?  In the long term, they'll either grow up finally or die off.  In the short term, that's where we've got the problems.  This is where the death-worship probably comes in, we'll be seeing how many rich leftists are ready to carry that out, and who has that in their arsenal as a weapon to use against the rest of us.  The last month has been a nice change, but the problems aren't even close to over yet.

Over the last few days, there's been reports of dozens [?] of drones suddenly flying around the country.  Obviously the POTUS has to make some comment about this, so Trump did.  He can't yet officially give orders to the military but he's in a position to ask why they're not doing anything and expect a complete response.

To the extent the pretend-leaders said anything, White House officials said everything was fine, it was nothing.  They've also said the Taliban couldn't take over Afghanistan, the Russia/Ukraine thing wasn't a big deal and didn't bother to do anything about the Chinese balloon that crossed the US in February 2023.  Whatever side they're on, it's not ours.  So what is this?

Of course there's no way to know, it could be foreign or domestic.  A serious threat or just some technological thingy that flies and stuff.  You really have to hope the people in charge know more about this than we do.  The White House denies any drone "incursion" in restricted airspace, New Jersey's Picatinny Arsenal commander says they're right there.

If I had to guess what this is, I just don't know.  I'll assume it's a threat because that's the safest option to take, but there's nothing to go on.  Reportedly most of the drones are in or around New Jersey, although it's said there's also drones over our Ramstein base in Germany.  It's not clear how you'd identify which drones are part of this and which are used for something else.  Well, other than shooting it down, but our military wouldn't think of doing something like that.

And just worth noting, a few days ago, before this started, a Republican Congressman from New Jersey reported that Iran was sending in spy drones from a "mothership."  As always, I assume this is part of the war going on, although we're not getting told anything relevant until it's too late.

Also, two days ago, the DoD news website posted a 'test' page that was various of afsdfaf.  It didn't look deliberate or kind of any pattern, but it doesn't seem like natural tapping with your fingers.  It had very few d's.  After an extended ffffffff, started including b's and g's, like a finger was moving, and a w as that started.  I'm not the world's most experienced typist, but I know a little bit and I can't find any way typing like this would be a normal pattern.

There must be an undercurrent of Democrats asking why they're still putting up with her.  With her wealth, connections and experience, her Congressional seat is probably safe even as a corpse, but they can't vote or convince anyone to go along with the leadership.  If this wasn't happening during Christmas break, there would probably be more open complaints but by the same token, the staff underlings can talk about her while she's drugged up thousands of miles away.

For that matter, what are they supposed to do without her in charge?  Once upon a time, old people were supposed to teach their youngers to grow up and replace them, especially in the USA.  But Nancy and her followers don't self-identify as "Americans" except as a tactic to seize power and censor anyone they don't like.  That means they've kept the field slim of up-and-comers who can handle things themselves.

I assume, for the sake of argument, that there's no chance Nancy will decide to go home and sit out politics for the rest of her life.  But her party just had this problem with Joe Biden and look how that worked out for them.  They've got to be worried about that and...  oh sh*t, I just realized that they could replace her with Kamala Harris.

Civil War 2.0 nears becoming open.  I'll have to check how many Democrats attended Abraham Lincoln's inauguration, so they probably have precedence.  Frankly I'd be more worried about China and/or leftists attacking the ceremony, but they'll just claim they're worried about Republicans doing that.  They might also be trying to show off how *woke* they are, but that's just an excuse.

Trump will do something on "day one."  We don't know what that is yet, but it's at least a legitimate reason to worry.  However many Democrats self-identify as the 'new world order,' they know he's going after them and they know why.  But they're not going to tell us why, Trump's just a tyrant and they don't *feel* safe.

Wonder how much of it is about what she said and how much is that she posted it on the restaurant's social media in the middle of the night, like it was an official statement.  She was the manager so it might be a big deal.  On the one hand, the business owners might not be leftist, but on the other hand, it's DC where almost everybody votes Democrat anyway.

This will keep happening for a while, although it will probably be less public.  I have nothing to point to, but I get the impression it's going to be building up and reach a head before Trump's inauguration.  The left will very quickly go nuts - see how they idolize the guy who shot a healthcare CEO - and too many people are going to refuse to take any more of this.  That was why I even asked if maybe the restaurant owners are in the 10% of DC Republican voters.

If there are any sane Democrats, this must be frightening, how many more of these people are out there?  Are there any competent leaders and productive workers and, well, men, who would speak up and say 'knock it off, this isn't helping anybody'?  Well, they probably couldn't do that in public, the *woke* wouldn't approve of that, so what do they do?

Had not been paying attention to this, the Disney network and Clinton-servant kept saying Trump was a "rapist," despite nothing about that in court.  He was found guilty of "sexual assault" against a woman he'd never met, but those are legally two very different things.  The company apparently couldn't afford lawyers who would point that out, so now they owe Trump $15 million.

It'll be interesting to see how this hits the media.  There are reasons to criticize Trump and complement him, this is the latter.  Even most rich people aren't willing to go after big media corporations like this, poor people don't have a chance.  The timing is perfect since this happens right before he starts his third second term.  You know how the media has lied about him for the last eight years?  Well so does he, and if he can do this to big media, small media don't have a chance either.

ABC is one of the parts of Disney I pay the least attention to so I don't know how it will hit them, but that company has been reeling for years and it's still getting worse.  It's like they self-identified as being crucial to the 'new world order' and have been targeted for that very effectively.  They were trying to find a new CEO (I think that was the position) and the most likely choice had no talent but was a good friend of Kamala Harris.  That didn't work out so well so now what will they do?

Gotta admit, thanks to the last four years, I've sorta gotten over being tired of winning.  It would be nice to have some of that again.

Old people and stairs, amiright?  Mitch McConnell just had a fall too, injured his head last week and he's been pushed in a wheelchair since.  But that's why they get to be in charge.  It also helps that they're rich and don't have to put up with the 'poor people' doctors like the rest of us.  But being in Congress, they probably don't even need to pay for the doctor in the first place.

Haven't seen Nancy make any public statements, just to let her fans know she's doing all right.  At that age, any fall might mean she's not doing all right, but the left has so few icons that this just comes off as one more old person who sends their messages out.  Trump's close enough to that so it's not just being anti-leftist.  There's respecting old people who managed to make it this long and there's telling them to get off-stage and enjoy their remaining quiet years.

Given the timing of two prominent Democrats having this happen, naturally I suspect it's not a coincidence.  No idea what it means, maybe they're all just boozing it up and things like that will happen.  I don't pay much attention to McConnell, but I wonder what Nancy will do about this.  Perhaps her wig fell off during the fall and we'll get footage of that for Christmas.  Or maybe other Democrats will become louder about it being time for her to go, even though she's already filed for re-election in two years.

Random question, how long until Nancy is able to leave the hospital?  How often until she's able to return to the USA?  Any chance that this could be a made-up excuse to keep her out of bounds when someone she's schemed after for years takes control?

So Turkey and Israel are getting involved, what are Iraq and Jordan doing about this?  And by extension, Iran and Saudi Arabia?  Those are just the nations in the vicinity, never mind the individual groups moving around.  If we're lucky, they're mostly about protecting themselves and attacking each other, so there's less to worry about on the world stage, but this is a big deal which isn't getting enough attention.

This is one of things about Trump that is still annoying.  This isn't remotely a big deal and seems a waste of political influence.  With his age and experience, Trump should know he has a very limited amount of time to get anything done.  I don't much care if DST stays or goes, but I'm willing to think other people would disagree.  I have the same reaction to jobs like waiting tables where most of the income is from tips.  How could anyone want a job like that, and yet lots of people prefer it.

Although there had been discussions for a long time, DST mostly became known from the war years and more-or-less permanent after that.  I will admit that's a vote against it, just because it was Woodrow Wilson and FDR pushing it on the US and by extension, the rest of the planet.  One negative aspect is that it's just government deciding it can change things as it wants and everyone else has to obey.  Makes you wonder what secret actions are taken during that missing hour as a loophole.

The only real benefit seems to be for those regions that are far from the equator, so the hours of day and night change dramatically across the year.  So that does make sense and such a change would probably have to be imposed on the nation as a whole.  Like I say, I don't really care whether we do it or not, I'm as annoyed by people whining about it as I am by doing it.  I don't really mind the novelty of the change either, but some people might disagree.

There's the natural human response of saying 'no they want, they couldn't be that stupid.'  Then there's realizing that this is 2024 and Washington DC natives are almost unanimously Democrat.  Harris won 90.3% of the DC vote, second place was Vermont with 63.2%.  They're leftists, of course they could be that stupid.  And they're surrounded by their own kind.

It will gain support for one of Trump's better ideas, moving as much of government as possible out of DC.  I do admit that being a capitol city means that's where government is mostly located, but there must be limits and I support Trump and his people finding some.  But this is going to create a lot of problems for the businesses that harass their customers like this, especially since those customers have some legal and financial authority.

Then there's the internal conflict that business owners must be facing, how can you be a loyal Democrat and still tell your employees that they must treat customers fairly?  Maybe if they just do it to blacks who voted for Trump or work for him, that's fair, isn't it?  And they should include an exemption when they repeal the law on taxing waitress tips.  They want the government to take their money, that's what'll continue to happen.

It is weird that the left is just going straight to this and not even trying to hide it.  I do wonder how much of it is fallout from wanting Trump killed and every attempt so far has been a failure.  With the healthcare executive, they're calling him a murderer, showing that they don't know or care what words actually mean.  Following Obamacare does not make you a murderer, only the delusional would think otherwise.

And Kimmel openly saying this, the famous guy promoting his staff, shows how these beliefs are part of popular culture and their corporations.  Nobody in his studio is embarassed to say things like this, and probably worse things too.  None of the network staff see anything wrong with it.  They want to push this belief into everybody's heads and if you disagree, well, they figure out what to do with you.

This is going to get worse before it gets better, but it's already unnerving how bad these people are.  This is the sort of thing that builds religion to oppose it.  This could be what it means that they reject God so this is all they have to work with.  They're not even worth pitying, just ignore them.  This is probably what inspires conversions and missionaries although I would say that's mostly a waste of time, but what do I know?

Does he have a clue that most of Canada's exports are to the US?  If you don't sell to us, you've got nobody else to sell to, which is not going to help the Canadian economy.  Ok, I guess it's a given that he's not interested in helping the Canadian economy, but at some point people are going to be saying that doesn't help.  Maybe even Canadians will say that, who knows?

There's no way to know how many citizens of North America are waking up but still aren't allowed to say anything about this, but I get the impression that number is increasing every day.  No way to know how many Mexicans are involved in that, but I'm sure there are some.  For that matter, I'd like to think Europe is having similar issues.  We know they're having problems too.

But it's clear we all need a major purge of our elites.  I can't even believe I'm saying that.  I'm fine with men making ridiculous amounts of money, that's their problem, not mine, but it is clear that this social class pervert themselves in insane ways and more of that is now coming out.  Hopefully they'll be self-identifying as targets for the rest of us.

They probably not public among the rich and famous, but I have always assumed there were secret agents hiding among the elitist criminals, actively looking for evidence and making a plan to turn on the rest of them.  Nothing special about that, it's just the job of a spy or an undercover agent, but they're probably among the elite classes.  This could even make it scarier for the leftists, wondering who might turn on them without warning.  And as with Adams, a lot of evidence to be used against others.

Amazing how leftists always rush to keep big corporations safe from the consequences of their own actions, especially when those companies were following the orders of leftists.  This always happens - I've heard somewhere that the tyrants are trying to push A.I. using a couple megacorporations because there's no way they could permit smaller businesses to do anything with it.  The people in charge of those companies understand this and, whether or not they know, the stockholders expect a profit.

We're not done with the fake-virus and the poison-vaccine yet.  Since the vacc didn't get tested for 20 or 30 years, there's no way to know the impact on those who took it.  But we can see how the elite all support that on the lower classes.  "Population reduction" is what bio-weapons are used for, and by now there's no real disagreement that covid was a bioweapon.

And holding this off until 2029?  Gee, Trump will be out of office before the public is allowed to hear this and the calendar will be rushing to meet the 2030 'new world order.'  Can't have big companies face consequences before then, not if you vote Democrat.  Notice there's no mention of what else Biden and his handlers want to keep secret.  They're probably major investors in the companies.
