Western governments in general are having problems holding together. For one thing, I don't think anybody wants to be holding the bag when the collapse finally happens. Doesn't matter how much they blame their predecessors for all of this, whoever's in charge when it finally happens will get all the blame, at least in the short term, which is all that matters for them.
I do wonder if this is all an excuse for the EU to seize more power and reduce these nations to subordinate states. That's believable but - from my American perspective - I don't see the EU leaders doing anything of the sort. It looks more like they're in hiding, either scared to move or just for the same reason, they'll get the blame for whatever happens next. They have to hang with their allies or they will hang with their allies.
If we're lucky, this is one of the better and more notable reactions to Trump's victory, that the citizens have had enough and aren't going to take it anymore. That would show the crisis that the EU faces and why they have nothing to rely on. What are they supposed to do, scream that Russia is nearing the Eiffel Tower? The Muslims in Paris are the closer and bigger danger.

And he knows who these ten million are and what crimes they have committed. I assume his audience is applauding him despite the lack of specifics, so either they're in on it too or they're just mindlessly obeying. Maybe a little of both.
This indicates the problems the left and elites are going through. They know what they've done and why they're targets, but they still act like it will stay hidden. If Trump is such a dictator, is he really going to look at Biden's 10 million pardons and say 'curses, foiled again!' or will he just ignore them and keep going?
Celebrities are the easiest-to-find examples of how the left is flipping out, going in all sorts of directions because something is no longer restraining them. Only the insanity remains the same, the rest is their insanity taking over. Olbermann, or whoever writes his gags, had no clue what he was admitting to with this tweet and apparently nobody is there to tell him to knock it off.
This is going on all across the left, even if we can't see most of it, like an iceberg. Perhaps more accurately, it's like holes in a dam that grow larger and are getting ready to burst open. Society and civilization have been built to re-enforce the dam and they've been all about tearing it down. Soon the flood will happen, just like that old fairy tale written by white men. It's as if they were warning people of something.

The trans movement is over, these people are just wasting time. They have nothing else to do and their masters can't just tell them to work harder. If they aren't protesting, they might be turning against other leftists. So send them to Congress, what's the worst that could happen?
The left seems to have focused everything on the trans. Maybe they just they'd already won every other argument. They seem to have ignored "global warming" in the last couple years and didn't bother to call everyone they don't like "sexist" or "racist", at least not until blacks and women started voting differently. Not even standard leftism like complaining about the rich. When was the last time you heard Nancy Pelosi say she wasn't paying enough in taxes and demanded the government do something about it? [wait, what?]
The trans movement has been going downhill for a year or so. I tend to cite "Bud Lite" as the point where the majority of people obviously wouldn't put up with it anymore, although you could say it was the "latinx" mutilation of languages to serve their own purpose, or the constant predatorial lust for more children to go after. But this protest at Congress is just a pathetic follow-up, showing how low the movement has fallen.
It's also annoying enough that even some leftists see the incentive to ignore it. You can pretend to be whatever gender you want, but don't impose it on me or you've just created another enemy. Since that's the only tactic this movement has, it's very easy to tell them to stfu and get the hell out of my restroom.
