□ [“Shia LaBeouf Receives Sacrament of Confirmation Into Catholic Church, He Wants To Become a Deacon"]

I only know this person from reputation of his recent legal problems so it's not any I have to say about him, but it sounds like an example of how the Catholic Church has become corrupted, that they'd promote him like this in the first place.  There's trying repent a sinner, then there's what the church is doing these days.  But no, there's the sense that they're proud, 'he's one of us!'

Actual repentance would mean acknowledging your sins.  It would be shock that he got away with this for so long and if he really meant it, he would be turning on all his fellow sinners.  Otherwise he'd be sending them to Hell for eternity and not trying to save them might condemn him for his lack of concern and compassion.

So he gets a high-ranking position in the church, that's basically the equivalent of trying to make him the new Indiana Jones.  Just a gigantic wealthy influential organization putting you at a high level to influence the next generation and carry on the legacy for the next generation.  This is what they've been working for everywhere for a long time.

Another GOP Rep. Announces Retirement Amid Wave of Retirements From Congress

Many people have noticed but there's been a resurgence of attention to older movies and tv shows.  I've certainly been taking part in that myself.  I still watch very little but definitely more for the last couple years than I did for a couple decades before that.  I won't bother watching anything I've never seen before and not even much variety of what I do see, but I'm still surprised that I'm even doing that much.

So are people who actually watch movies and tv.  I have been paying some attention to the youtube videos of people watching this or that movie for the first time, which is probably the widest assortment of what I'll put on.  I don't even watch most of it, it's just background noise, but for what it's worth, it's an entertaining summary of Marty McFly or Leslie Nielson's greatest adventures.

I think the point is a reaction to Hollywood, people are tired of their 'woke' garbage and not willing to pay money for that any longer.  Not counting the years when theaters were shut down for the virus, 2023 was the least profitable year in movies since 2005, and tickets were a lot more expensive in 2023.  It might be interesting to factor in inflation and see if the theaters have ever had such a bad year, at least in the last 50 or 60 years.

Hollywood has always been leftist and perverted, I'm even developing a theory that this might be why they were capable of creating instead of doing real work, but it wasn't that long ago that there was at least an attempt to make something worth watching.  Interesting characters doing interesting things is far more fun than living up to 'woke' corporations.

There also seems to be a resurgence of getting a physical copy of the product and not just trusting the internet to keep it available.  I never knew how blu-ray works, but when you get a DVD, you can see that release as long as you have a player and electricity.  If I had a tv, the same thing would apply to my collection of VHS.  'Woke' corporations can censor and alter their work but it's still possible to keep a copy of the original that made it all possible, and they oppose that.

□ [“Department of Education Investigating San Diego State University for ‘Islamophobia’ Over Statement Condemning Oct. 7 Hamas Attacks"]

They don't investigate any Jew-haters, they just go after whoever is accused of "Islamophobia."  That tells us which side they're on and who's in charge.  The federal government is out-right using censorship and punishment to go after whoever they consider their enemies, all in defense of Muslim terrorists.

This also shows the double-sided nature of our leaders.  They defend trans and they defend Hamas without ever seeing the contradictions.  At least Muslims know whose will to submit to, the 'woke' don't even have that and will always lose as as a result.  Yet the left always doubles down on this delusion which can only cause tyranny and suffering.

I'm beginning to think that the current term 'activism' may be a way to define these people.  They'll find a different word to use before long - as they've started using "equity" instead of "equality" - but the point is that these people try to operate that way 24/7, or at least delude themselves into thinking they do that.  People with real hobbies and interests can focus on those to the exclusion of all else, the 'activists' can only do what they're told, in full conformity with the rest of them.  Effectively they believe themselves to be superior to everyone else while losing what makes human beings into individuals.

□ [“Trump Brings the House Down in Sioux Center, Iowa: 'We Are Going to Take Our Country Back!'"]

Whatever else I have to say about Trump, I will give him credit for doing this.  We really do need someone who is working to unite the populace against our tyrants and he seems to be the only one really doing that.  There's just the fact that he is going all around the country and bringing large numbers of people together who can meet and form connections.

As always, I have to worry that he's actually siding with our rulers.  Federal agencies are spying on these events and investigating every single person who attends - assuming they aren't illegal immigrants - to get a list of who else go go after.  I don't see a better alternative for Trump but the first people our tyrants need to purge are the ones who don't obey them and this is a good way of finding them.

I do think this is helpful, getting people together who can form local resistance movements.  I highly doubt they're limiting this to just filling up a stadium and then going home and watching tv.  Beyond the government agents and spies, it's a good thing that much of what these people do will go unnoticed.  But another down side is the rest of us don't see what they're working on so we can emulate that in our own regions.  People have had enough, but when are we actually going to get started and fight back?

□ [“High-End Boston Sex Ring Was a 'Honeypot Operation' by Foreign Governments to Blackmail US Officials"]

We knew that.  Supposedly it done by Russia, China, Israel and South Korea, although more were involved.  It's interesting that this is coming out at the same time as the Epstein list.  I assume they were connected, whether professionally or personally.  For that matter, there are probably similar operations going on in Russia, China, etc.

This could explain a lot.  Partially there's the sex, but there's also the blatant control over US tyrants by foreigners.  Other than South Korea, just the countries listed have all been despised by leftists for years - or decades, in Israel's case - and they're the ones giving orders to leftist leaders.  I still don't have a clue how this works, but I've long thought that part of the left's tactics involve putting their people on the right to be publicized as 'the enemy.'  RINOs are a good example of how that works.

Of course no one will be punished for this.  It'll probably be years before any significant names are given of those involved.  From there it's easy to see how they'd have access to security teams protecting the high-ranking, as well as control over unelected federal officials.  If you've got pictures of the FBI chief or whoever doing their thing with your girls, you can decide who the FBI or whoever goes after.  And that goes all the way down the line.
