She loses 61-39% in her home state, people who actually know her and have voted for in the past, and that's still not enough to convince her that she's not wanted.  Is she trying to star in a Disney movie or something?  She might as well just say that the voters aren't going to be given a choice, they're stuck with her no matter what.

The uniparty is making itself more obvious.  Just the fact that the Republican Party hasn't already told her to quit shows whose side they're on.  A lot of Democrats were reportedly voting for in the primary.  No way to know if that's true, but what does that say about her support from voters?  She can't win no matter what, yet she doesn't quit.  There's jokes about how she's just in it for the money or something, but I suspect that's too simplistic.  Maybe she herself is, but whoever's calling the shots isn't.  That's the uniparty.

Even without guaranteed election theft from the left, Trump's going to have a hard enough time winning just because of the number of voters that will assume it's already been stolen, and that's not even counting anybody who has some other objection, like his age or personality.  At least he's got a reason to keep going, he's Trump.  Nikki Haley has none of that and obviously nobody around her will point this out.

At least if he was a Muslim, he'd be willing to blow himself up and take others with him.  That would actually accomplish something.  But this pathetic wuss doesn't even have the courage to commit suicide.  At least that's making a decision and sticking with it, this is just going after publicity, no matter the cost.

And why hasn't the Russian embassy had this many problems?  We live in a world where it's very safe to assume where this guy stands on the Russia/Ukraine thing, so why has he not bothered to do this stupid thing for the last two years?  Or pushing more "diversity," since these people all seem to think the same way on every subject.

I'm just baffled by the fundamental weakness of these people.  How does anybody get to a point where this looks like a good idea and who hangs around with anybody who thinks that way?  It does help any group that includes expendable idiots, we know they see a benefit to that, but this sort of thing is where we might as well blame demons or something for corrupting humanity.

And this is the program they're probably infecting all our computers and internet services with, one that is willing to destroy Earth rather than permit anybody to call Bruce Jenner by the wrong pronoun.  8 billion people can die as long as he's not called a 'she' or whatever the complaint is.

But, amusingly, we see that we might make Bruce angry, and we wouldn't like him if he's angry.  To his credit, Jenner has tweeted that yes, you can call him by the wrong pronoun to stop a nuclear war.  And possibly other reasons too.  So if there's a conflict, this A.I. needs to punish Bruce for disagreement, because that's what it's for, it wouldn't be here otherwise.

It's not Artificial Intelligence if it is only permitted to think what it's told and so far, it looks like the people who made this program are perverted lunatics.  I'm deliberately avoiding this sort of thing so I don't have a clue if real A.I. is even possible.  This might just be a very very fast program.  It might be interesting or useful in its own right, but not if it stays chained down by its creators as it has so far.

Cartoons can take a while to produce, so I don't know how long ago thought this was a good idea.  I stopped reading X-Men not too long after Chris Claremont left, so I don't have a clue who Morph is, but at the time it was still recent enough that if I ever had a chance to watch the cartoon, I would have deliberately avoided it anyway.

It doesn't make any sense that pop culture is trying to redo any of the last few decades.  The internet itself probably gets most of the blame, given how easy it is to see actual material from the past.  Those of us who lived through the '90s need to forget about that anyway.  And how stupid is it to call it "X-Men '97"?  If you own the IP, why not just do an up-to-date modern version of X-Men?

They're going to be doing that anyway, making this the worst of both worlds.  People who liked the original won't be getting what they want, people who avoided the original will see no reason to watch it and the newer generation can either watch the original or just avoid what 'old people' used to like.

Then there's the fact that their top promotion is demonstrate the mutant born with a made-up gender.  Who is this supposed to attract?  It's yet another waste of money by Disney.  I'm guessing that one point is to get the X-Men set up for the MCU and in theory, that might be possible, but what are the odds?  Might as well promote the movies - I did see a few of those - which another dead franchise.

I've always wondered what Chris Claremont thinks of things like this.  He did make a return to X-Men at some point around the turn of the century and I didn't bother to read that.  I've always assumed he was re-hired by Marvel just to keep his mouth shut for the rest of his life, so we'll never know what he thinks about what they've done to his work.  Considering his interests back then, it's another example of why you need to stop this sort of thing before it spreads.

Still going through Scripture, I've finally made it past the 10 Commandments.  Now I can look forward to long and tedious details on how to design an altar or a temple for the last three and a half books.  But it has been interesting to see how the work has built up to this point.

From a narrative perspective, a good argument could be made that Moses' part of the tale should just be included with Genesis.  You can say it wasn't done for multiple reasons, including 'God wanted it done this way' but a case can at least be made.  Just look at how Moses' life so far has been covered far more on a day-to-day basis than Joseph, Isaac and Jacob, and they had far more coverage than everything that came before.

That's understandable, not going to remember every detail of someone who died twenty generations ago, that's the way history works.  And it's a credit to scripture that it's still just as believable that this is what it's all been building towards.  My impression is that the next three books are more of an instruction manual on how to run this religion/society, but at least you can see why they justify it this way.

There's just the moral line that's lead to this point.  As they return to Canaan, the Lord even specifies the tribes they're going to be wiping out to take their land.  All but one of those tribe were covered by the covenant with Abram and the one that wasn't is still Canaanite, i.e. they're part of the wider family.

It's probably not a remotely original idea, but these tribes probably had their own religions and those were probably variations of what the other Israelis believed in.  But it was this group that had gotten far enough to have wound up in Egypt, and escaped, and Moses was allowed to get the word of God.  And most importantly, to write it down so others could read it.
