And none of the rich leftists are doing anything to help them.  Now you could make a point that these people could just use their considerable abilities to get jobs in this great economy and I would agree, but the candidate and party that they worked for said that wasn't necessary, that other people would be forced to pay for the needy.  Isn't there something in some religion about me taking your money and giving it to someone else because they deserve it more?

They probably had to sign NDAs so there's a limit to what they can say, but these people aren't going to stay quiet for long.  If they can't get money for revealing what was going on behind the scenes, they'll still want revenge for being put in this situation.  Democrat leaders are probably torn between wanting to avoid being the target for this and needing to save themselves before things get worse.

They expected to win.  If that happened, they'd be bringing in tons of money, but there was no back-up plans if that didn't happen.  This is why they hate money, because it helps clarify time, ability, achievement in ways that each individual can decide for themselves what's most important by what they do to earn money and what they decide to spend it on.  You can work for someone you despise because you get a paycheck.  Eliminate money and the problems still exist and are much harder to classify.

This is the first hint of the longer-range problem, donors are not going to help the DNC in the future.  If it were anybody else, I'd say they're talking about how they're going to fix things and make sure this never happens again.  But these are leftists, so they're a long way away from that and they'll uncover many more problems in the meantime.

“We didn’t get the breaks we needed on Election Day.  I think it surprised people, because there was these public polls that came out in late September, early October, showing us with leads that we never saw.”

They didn't see any leads but these paid pollsters and their pet media kept talking about how great Harris was doing in the polls.  They were willfully lying to the public, they got paid for this.  The campaign used donation money to pay them for this.

The media went along with them.  You can argue that they did it deliberately or out of ignorance, but it still puts the decision on whoever ran Harris' campaign, since she obviously didn't.  Slowly the cracks in leftist institutions are widening.  They thought they were reporting the truth and are starting to realize that it was all based on lies, and not just about Harris' campaign polls.

I assume they're going to crack down on anybody saying anything that's not officially permitted, but that will make the elites look wonky as more pieces have to be moved to where they hadn't expected which will cause further problems.  I'm probably fantasizing to think that the left's institutions might be in total collapse by the time Trump actually takes office, but it will be entertaining to watch.

The emotional adrenaline rush is over.  There's also the 'acceptance' stage of grief.  They can't just go back to saying Russia did everything.  Russia can't even conquer Ukraine, how would they keep running the US?  The protests really haven't done anything, and they're basically at a point where they need to go to work tomorrow.  In this economy, that's enough of a struggle, and wait, weren't they supporting Biden and Harris?

Partially it's growing up older and then there's the fact that they've just been deluding themselves all along.  Everybody on their side was debating how big of a win Harris would have, they never saw this coming, so now whoever's in charge of their particular groups looks like an idiot or a liar for pushing all this.  Who is stupider, the stupid Orange Man or the opponents who keep insisting they've permanently beaten him?

Then there's the problems with being *woke,*  That idiocy has been going downhill for over a year already, there's been countless arguments about it, and the anti-*woke* won.  So now you want to go back to demanding the majority must be punished for not using your favorite pronouns?  Not going to happen.  So then what?

There's a little chatter about getting involved with grass roots issues, but that means they have to get to know the people around them.  Then they have to learn how their region is different, which defeats the point of globalism, or even thinking that the whole nation can be covered in a few short sentences.  Those local groups won't get very far unless they get too extreme for anyone else to take seriously.  Then there's all the time and effort required just to do that, all to stop Trump from killing everybody or whatever he did eight years ago that they opposed.

I put this on the same level as the reported threats against Trump administration officials, I could go both ways on either.  In one sense, the left is desperate, so it's believable they'd do something, or at least help their terrorist allies do something.  On the other sense, it does come off as just pushing fear.  I don't believe it when the left does that, so just out of sensibility I don't want to give the right any more credibility either.

I was a complete support of the "war on terrorism," but one problem it caused was that this stuff becomes normal.  Oh no, another terror warning!  It's also easy to fake, either the threats themselves or the government reaction.  If the secrets ever come out, we may be shocked to find out how many of the real terrorist attacks were fake or set-up for some other reason.  That's what we're looking at here.

It's going to be dangerous for everyone up through January 20.  If we get that far, it looks like Trump will have things ready to go on 'day one' and we'll all be pleasantly shocked.  But until then, there's still the threats, real or imaginary.  We're not out of the woods yet.

Without Biden, they need another rich old white man to speak out and tell everybody what to do.  This article includes a video of Kerry in Congress earlier this month.  He just looks and sounds really old.  What are the elites doing that they can't even come off like normal old people?  He's turning 81 in a few weeks, why is he still here?

And his rhetoric hasn't changed over the decades, we're still right before a total disaster and the government needs tyranny to save the planet.  It's easy to find lists of rich people dictating all the horrible things that would happen if they weren't obeyed.  The obvious example is Al Gore promising that the North Pole would be ice-free by 2013.  I have noticed that Gore doesn't get much attention anymore and have always wondered if that lie is what killed his public image.  I'm sure he's still high-up in the 'new world order' for whatever that does

This must be headed for an end although I don't know what it would be.  The old rich people reciting these lies will die at some point, but they've never bothered to have successors.  Sure, there's lots of kids who can recite this stuff too, but it's just a weapon to use on the peasants.  They don't really believe it and will ignore it once it stops working.  I assume the basic hysteria will stay around, but who will be able to convincingly push it and how?
