This is an article citing another article citing another article, the latter two both from Politico.  None of these articles actually spoke to Harris and named very few of the people who did comment.  That doesn't encourage much support or confidence that she has any clue about this.  Granted this is about someone who needed a couple weeks to think of anything she'd do differently than Biden but it doesn't sound good.

Harris is still fairly young and Democrats don't have much else to work with, that is a definite advantage, but that's about it.  She can also say she's not Trump, but big deal.  I'm not Trump either, it's a common trait.  She's never run anything, which even California governor has to do.  As one unnamed commenter said about that in the article, "It's a real job."  She showed in the campaign and the primaries that she couldn't handle that.

This may just be about getting her donations to pay her $20 million campaign debt.  She can't point to any victories for people to look up to her, the same reason Hillary Clinton doesn't get out much anymore.  Bill and Trump and Obama and even Biden can point to actual wins in their lives.  Sarah Palin is probably remembered more fondly than Harris will be.  Palin can at least point to winning city council, mayor and governor before reaching the level where she became famous.  She was also likeable which probably made a difference.

A lot of people are going to spend a long time studying how Democrats put themselves into this mess where Harris was at the apex.  They installed her for a guaranteed victory and this is how it worked out.  And note that Biden, despite senility, seems to be able to accept a loss and get on with what remains of his life.  Harris is probably too egotistical to accept going down the ladder after being the first insane woman to self-identify as vice-president. [note to self:  can I find a better way to put that?]

And no leftist asks why he doesn't have the courage to stand up for what he thinks is right.  Spent all these years going after Trump but only when it was easy.  Didn't need to reach a conclusion, just needed to act like he was doing something and Democrats applauded that.  Oh no, they're worried about retaliation.  Well you should have done something before but couldn't be bothered.

This was about January 6 and the classified documents in Mar-a-Lago.  The former was an obvious lie and the latter was pointless, given that at POTUS Trump had authority to declassify whatever he wanted.  Now Trump has leeway to go after those who made these frauds possible, as well as the prosecutors.

I'm ambivalent about the latter.  Maybe it's because I didn't pay much attention to these legal cases, but I don't see any way Trump could go after the prosecutors and not look totally vengeful.  Not saying he's wrong to do that, but it's not a good look and I have no clue how to fix that.  It's just the nature of the job, this would seem to be a purge of anyone who disagrees with him.  That said, I'm fine with punishing these leftists to within an inch of their lives.  I guess you could say I'm conflicted.

Both right and left have to be rethinking their long-standing positions on fed v. state.  Or at least the right does, the left will probably just ignore it.  Then there's the illegal invaders themselves, and who is making this happen.  That's not counting what their foreign masters can be planning.  This is what they're all getting ready for.

Without that, the Democrat governors and mayors will probably cave in pretty quickly.  They'd have nobody to rely on but their own citizens, many of whom already don't support the invaders and many more would agree when the federal funding stops.  Then there's all the ways the various governments have interacted for decades, creating massive employment for *woke* liberals to negotiate between these regulations and policies, imposing their decisions on the public and on business.  When the federal government steps back and gives an order, these people won't know how to respond, so there's only leftist tyranny.

This is where I hope Trump really has a plan.  It's going to get messy very quickly, and probably bloody.  He will want to prevent that as much as possible, but will it work?  The pleasure of the last three weeks hasn't changed the fact that we still need back-up supplies and preparation because society could still collapse any day.

As leftists are going nuts, their elites have extra problems.  A number of them have suddenly announced that they aren't going to talk about politics any more.  Now maybe it's because they've realized that they're losing an audience, maybe they're stunned by being proven wrong, maybe their corporate masters have instructed them to STFU.  But I'm wondering how many of them are just trying to avoid giving prosecutors any evidence.

I first noticed this when Robert De Niro made his public appearance when (IIRC) Trump was found guilty, he had been out with the lawyers and ranting in public about this.  I got the impression that he was trying to be the real life aging Vito Corleone (and looking up De Niro's film credits, he was playing gangsters in multiple movies back then) and saying he wants this guy guilty, no matter what.

I've often suggested that the leftist elites self-identify as their own government to run, or at least the movie division of the 'new world order.'  They were showing off their authority and committing what would be considered crimes by real governments.  Now that they've suffered this huge defeat, they don't want to give up any more evidence to prosecutors, so people like Hamill or Rob Reiner have gone into hiding.

This could be related to recent revelations against people like P. Diddy and Neil Gaiman, of the deeper cult our masters are part of.  Once again, I'll assume it's about worshipping demons until there's proof to the contrary, but it's just my speculation.  In Gaiman's case, the accusations are similar to what's being levelled at Trump's cabinet pics, probably not a coincidence.  If there's a reason to wish I followed more celebrities, it would be so I could look at how they're handling the sudden unexpected change to their worldview.
