Still just speculation, trying to work out how trademarks were established for pop culture characters.  They were being done a long time ago.  Gasoline Alley was created in 1918.  Fritz the Cat was created in 1919.  Charlie Chang in 1925, as was Captain Blood.  The Shadow in 1930, Dick Tracy in 1931, Conan in 1932, Lone Ranger in 1933, Flash Gordon in 1934, the Phantom and the Green Hornet in 1936.  Happy Hooligan (1900) and the Katzenjammer Kids (1897) had merchandizing and short movies about them.

Work for Hire was already established.  Arthur Conan Doyle sold the rights to Sherlock Holmes with the first story.  His publisher paid him for it.  So my point is these weren't brand-new concepts for DC Comics in 1938.  Companies owned their IPs and used them across the market for a long time.

Recurring fictional characters are even older, going back to Ancient Greece and Aristophanes.  Then there's Natty Bumppo of James Fenimore Cooper's Leatherstocking Tales and Sir Walter Scott's novels of the early 1800s.

So I'm trying to work out how corporations handled their IP in the early-20th century, specifically in comic books.  From what I can tell, they clearly had the basic policies going back centuries.  There were comic strips so the merchandizing was essentially the same.  Other than the release date and format - monthly installments of several pages, as opposed to a daily strip - what else would be different?  Was anything different other than the superhero genre?

Say that Ukraine isn't really that important to you without using those specific words.  You've had three years to do this for Russia which is like this totally big threat and stuff.  But Israel and Iran get into it and *now* it's serious.  The sad thing is that nobody expects you do to any more than you've already been doing.

And its not even necessary for the time being.  Iran included Britain and France in the threats it made to the US and Israel but this obviously isn't as big a priority.  It's not like Britain can draft a bunch of Muslims to fight Iran and who else do they have?  It's actually kinda depressing that Starmer is even making these claims, who does he think will by them?

Meanwhile those actually fighting aren't giving out much information that is believable.  Busting the sewers is probably true, footage can be provided.  More importantly, it's a way of discomforting Iranians who might get very pissed at their rulers for letting this happen.  In some ways, tyrannies actually need to provide benefits to their citizens that free nations don't.  We're free so we're required to do things for ourselves.  If the tyrants decide what you can and can't do, they need to live up to their duties or the vast majority will turn on them.  Maybe that's what's being done here.

[As an example, you can order people to get vaccines, to fight global warming and to use the correct self-proclaimed pronouns, and people will put up with it to an extent.  But the costs outweigh the virtues and they'll simply refuse to take part in this anymore.  You could at least remove the need to get jobs or some other benefit that would make this other stuff easier to tolerate.]

The State Department has told Americans to get out of Iran.  Um, maybe I'm just naive and ignorant, but WTF would there be any Americans there at all?  This is probably just a requirement, just in case, so if some tie in the bombings, it's not like they weren't told.  It's said that there are some dual-citizens moving back and forth, something that we need to stop anyway.

Trump's involvement is unknown.  There's simply no reason to trust what we're told.  He's said we might get involved, which I hope is a lie.  I get that he wants to negotiate peace but I'm thinking of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, "Let it go!"  We're also told that Israel intended to assassinate Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Trump shot that idea down.  I'm skeptical on that.  Would Israel listen to that?  Does Trump really see a reason why that shouldn't be done?

The unnamed person who made this claim said that Iran hadn't killed Americans so it wasn't an option.  That has nothing to do with Israel handling things.  I think it's more likely that, whatever the chances are, they're being discussed.  Or they're deliberately not being discussed and Israel will handle things.  Or Trump is blatantly lying because why not?  My point is there's no reason to believe that.  So we'll see what happens next.

I haven't bothered to check, but it sounds like at least some of the protests are still going on.  That was the point, they hope to keep doing it until the revolution happens.  There's been some violence but except for maybe LA, it doesn't sound major.  It's only going to happen in big leftist cities, most people still have to go to work the next day.  We have real jobs.

More relevant is the other attempts at violence happening elsewhere.  There was the assassination in Minnesota.  There was also a shooter in Fort Hood, Texas.  The base was shut down but that was yesterday so I'm sure they got that taken care of.  More than the mindless protests, I think this is the thing the left is really going for.  That's the next step for the revolution.  The Minnesota shooter is still free and although the authorities have his manifesto, they're keeping that hidden, meaning he was a leftist.

People are looking into the funding and one name that keeps coming up is Neville Roy Singham, a tech billionaire.  There's a new site, DataRepublican, which is working out the very complicated connection between leftist organizations and how much money they pass to and from each other.  I haven't looked at it much but there's clearly relevant information there.  By moving the money around in specific ways, the funding is effectively kept hidden, at least inasmuch as governments can't just seize it or tax it.  But they can help fund it.

I'm guessing this info came from DOGE, or at least people with that authority to look into spending.  There's probably a reason it can't name individuals involved but that would also be helpful.  We're going to need to get the names of these people sooner or later, at least their leaders and rich people.  There's a billionaire heir to the Wal-Mart fortune who's been making a lot of pro-leftist noise, I'm sure she'd help Singham too.  Funny how leftist rhetoric about rich people never includes any rich leftists.

Tell people that you're totally part of these gangs without using those words.  There's no other reason to have been so resistant to digging this monstrosity out and eliminating it.  You can't go so far just to defend your allies who are involved in this but not do it yourself, otherwise they'd have nothing to blackmail you with.

The fact that he's getting around to this now probably means that everything has been taken care of.  There may be a few people punished but the rest will all get off scott free and be able to continue abusing children with full government approval.  They're not even going to bother looking into what connections this has to the rest of the continent.

It's just mindboggling how entrenched these rape gangs are into the whole aristocracy.  Being liberals, they probably include as many lower-class people as possible, and anyone who disagrees is a bigot.  I'm trying to figure out if the elites are really part of a cult that's been doing this for many centuries all across the world.  That's the only way I can think of to explain this.

This is one of those things that does not make Trump look good to anybody.  They're all criminals!  It's one thing to say it's just impossible to find them all and push them out, it's another to give up and to say 'all of these people can stay.'  And it makes you look like you're taking orders and/or bribes to keep these people around.

First of all, how can these jobs be impossible to replace?  Second of all, so traffickers can just get a token job there and be safe.  This is not what Trump voters wanted.  As it is, he hasn't come close to deporting as many people as Biden brought in, and Obama before him.  So now he wants to cut those numbers even lower.  Why not just admit he lost?

This isn't even going to get him any help from the left so what's the point?  As many things as Trump does which deserve applause, he always suddenly turns and does something like this which just throws it all away.  It's hard to get tired of winning when there's so many losses.
