Not too big a surprise, they would want the souvenirs.  It's not like people who are paid to report the truth and get to hang out with the higher-ups are going to see anything wrong with stealing.  They certainly aren't going to tell us what sort of example they're paid to set.  They're going to steal *this* much but they won't steal *that* much because stealing is wrong!

It's just another example of how the media isn't here for us, they don't need anything from us except providing them more to steal.  They work for the actual thieves and help them win elections.  It might be fun to speculate if there's any sort of cult relevance to the particular objects they steal, but I wouldn't know where to start on that.  Nice theory though.

That said, I can understand that there's just a basic part of human nature that's corrupt, particularly when hanging out with the elites.  As long as AF1 has been around, those who were allowed onboard have stolen things from it, and before that they stole from elsewhere.  You certainly can't have a member of the press corps who refuses to steal something, what kind of example would that set?

Leftist tries to get something right.  He does, to an extent, trying to show how stupid his allies were for going along with this insanity, but then it's just an excuse to blame Trump.  Because Biden just followed Trump, or something.  The guy promises to end the crisis on "Day One" and waits two and a half years, and even that's only because he can't excuse letting illegal immigrants invade if there's still a virus crisis.

But Maher ignores that.  No, it's Trump's fault.  Because every liberal would have totally obeyed Trump if he had said that it wasn't a big deal, which is what Trump said.  IIRC, he did change it later and say it was a big deal, but liberals already blamed him for not letting them fail in exactly the way Maher says they did.  It was just Trump's fault, so that explains everything.

At the moment, I can relate.  I am currently dealing with people who still believe the virus is real to this day and demanded I get the poison-vaccine or else I can't stay with them.  I'm ready to leave as soon as it comes to that, we'll see.  But it remains over my head even now.  It's literally been years since I've met anybody who believed in this.

Anyway, this is not encouraging, and of course Maher can't admit there was anything wrong.  Why did he get paid to say how horrible the virus was and how great the vaccine was?  His lack of self-control that was used to impose the masses with any laws the rulers could think of, and that's what he went with.  No hesitation.  He's certainly not going to start every monologue with 'don't listen to me, I don't know what I'm talking about and here are previous examples to prove it.'

1997 is roughly halfway between the founding of "Palestine" and today.  Back then, Yasser Arafat was a big name, even though he's been totally forgotten by now.  Not big on elections either, because Abbas has been President for 19 years.  Well, he has to do that, or there might be elections where everyone would vote for Hamas.  And liberals always support this.

As does Saudi Arabia, but for different reasons.  They're stuck, they can't acknowledge Israel's existence.  At most they can insist that the Philistines get to have their own nation, but they've already had that for decades and that's how it ended up here.  You want to support Arafat, you get him for decades.  You want to get rid of all the Jews, you get Hamas, who eventually pretends they didn't *really* mean that.  And here you are.

But Saudi also has to run Mecca, which is, shall we say, a central point around the entire Muslim world.  Except for the earliest days, it's always been this way.  Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran, but the hadiths do say that Muslims prayed to Jerusalem until later on, when Mohamed ordered them to switch direction to Mecca.  Jerusalem was also the end of the Night Journey, which I have read, but not for a long time, so I don't remember.

Anyway, if they don't turn against Israel, Saudi can be overthrown, but without Israel, who will protect them from Iran?  This conflict has gone on a lot longer than any of us know.  Naturally liberals are only on one side, they support the truth of Islam worldwide, no exceptions.

They just obey the masters.  They don't need consent from the voters and they don't permit any disagreement.  They don't even tell their own leaders to stop driving gas-powered vehicles, it's limited to the peasants.

Do any of them ask how making slavery illegal prevented slaves from being brought into their territory?  How about drugs?  How about alcohol?  Do they really expect to have law enforcement sitting around, ignoring rape and murder to make sure nobody drives by with a gas-powered vehicle?

Well, they probably do expect that.  That's another thing the leftist rulers get to do which the rest of us would be punished for.  Probably an influence by China, which is where they have to get the rare metals to build these replacement vehicles.  China's allowed to use gas-powered vehicles too.

Slowly I turned.  Step by step, inch by inch, I biffed 'em and boffed 'em and slapped 'em!  I would never call them a "pal."

They're announcing the "state of emergency" a week early.  Seriously.  The press release says “Declaring a State of Emergency under the EMCPA strengthens the tools the Region has at its disposal to safeguard the health and safety of residents and visitors and protect our critical infrastructure in any scenario that might arise.”

I need my dick scratched.  If I declare that a state of emergency, it would strengthen all the tools  available at my disposal to safeguard and protect crucial infrastructure.  I'm not going to wait until my dick actually needs to be scratched, I'm going to do that early and everybody just has to obey my orders.  What?  How come they get to do that but I don't?  Because their dicks are more important than ours?

This wouldn't be the first eclipse at Niagara Falls, how come the previous ones didn't require a "state of emergency"?  Might as well say they should never end the "state of emergency" because then they'd have to go through the bother of restarting it when another eclipse shows up, so it's more convenient for everybody to make the emergency permanent.  That's what they want to do, this way they wouldn't keep having to find (or make up) new excuses.
