□ [“Michelle Obama Whines About How 'Expensive' It Was to Live in the White House"]

Mansions are expensive places to live!  You learn something new every day if you're not careful.  She even points out that she didn't have to pay for the mansion or the staff which probably gets in the way when poor people buy mansions.  She had to pay for the food, how horrifying.  And, when she didn't travel with the POTUS, she had to pay for transportation.  Couldn't she at least get Harvey Weinstein to pay for her daughters, since he was already paying for them?

It's implied that she's going after her husband.  There's the fact that he keeps going out without her, which does seem kinda suspicious.  But she insists “If I were having problems with my husband, everybody would know about it.”  In reality, not everyone would know.  People who don't listen to her podcast, which is most of us, and anyone who's just plain not interested in her or her husband.  But she is making sure to bring it up on her podcast, so more people know than would otherwise be aware.

This is just elite female behavior.  She can't be blamed for bringing up the topic she says no one talks about.  Normal people would just not talk about something they want to keep quiet, but she doesn't have to follow those rules.  It's not remotely clear what's going on between her and Obama but there is something there.  I still think that's what Trump was referring to when he and Obama spoke at Jimmy Carter's funeral.

□ [“California high-speed rail leader pushes state to support private investment"]

Always amusing how California is so obviously making its problems worse.  In 2008, they voted for this to be done by 2020.  Of the planned 119 miles, they have 22 miles ready to have tracks laid next year and it's already going to cost three times as much.  Now the plan is to have another 70 miles done by the year 2045.

And the federal funding is probably running low.  You'd think they'd just turn to all those rich California liberals.  What's Nancy Pelosi going to do with all her money if not pay for train tracks?  But no, it's all about taking from others to build something that can't be built.  But at least nobody asks what happened to all the money that's already been spent.

Many commentators are pointing out that Transcontinental railroad was 1928 miles long and only took six years to build in the 1800s.  Modern California isn't capable of that, so that shows what else they can't do.  You would think they could realize that but that's not how leftism works.  They'll probably start blaming Trump any day.

□ [“Prince Harry’s UK Court Appeal To Reinstate His Security Is Dismissed"]

Another example of the elites having problems in the new world order.  He's rich and famous and ditched Britain but he's angry that taxpayers won't fund his security when he comes by for a visit.  His family can handle that for him and if they refuse to because he left them, he should have thought of that before leaving.

I'm guessing his wife is getting ready to ditch him the way she made him quit his family.  Then he'll owe alimony and probably won't have much contact with his kids.  That's the life he wanted to live so now he can deal with the consequences.  It'll probably take a few decades but this might become a moral lesson and we may even see why it's best exemplified by the royalty.  They lowered their own standards and by extension, that of their nation so there's no one to fall back on.

I pay very little attention to Mrs. Prince but I do know that she's having problems with Netflix tv shows.  Apparently she was somehow supposed to be a star and the audience just isn't there.  Netflix gave her a lot of money for this but I get the impression she's already spent through it, so they're not sure what to do.  Trying to be a new version of Princess Diana, but with the right skin color and a streaming network, that was supposed to work better than speeding around with the children of Saudi billionaires.  At least the conspiracy theories will still be around long after they're gone.

□ [“Trump Strips Harvard of Tax-Exempt Status; They Defied Key Demands and Sued Trump Instead"]

He told them to drop the DEI nonsense, they refused so he's requiring them to pay taxes like other businesses.  And all of a sudden the left thinks people shouldn't have to pay taxes, especially rich people and businesses like Harvard.  Can't treat them the same as poor people!

Not sure Trump or Harvard is thinking of this, but I've noticed a huge increase in attention given to trade schools instead of universities.  The point is obvious, a trade is actually useful and even if the school charges a lot of money, you make it back quickly with the skills you learn.  I assume it's still common for much of the 'schooling' is to be an assistant of a professional.  The stereotype of auto mechanics is kids having around with family or friends as they fix cars.  There's plumbers, electricians, construction workers, all that stuff that's useful.

But leftist elites do not go for that.  Instead they want to be paid just for being *woke* and hating Israel.  That's why they keep charging much more money than actual capitalist businesses that aren't tax-exempt.  Like everything else, this is a place where the left would have no legal case, not in normal times, but that's not where we are anymore, and it's their fault.
