□ [“Trump Responds to Criminal Investigation into James Comey and John Brennan: 'Very Dishonest People, Crooked as Hell, and Maybe They Have to Pay a Price for That'"]

You said that about Hillary Clinton eight years ago and still haven't done anything about her.  Since you don't want anyone to mention that you never did anything about Jeffrey Epstein or his allies so they've been free to continue abusing children all these years, but you don't want to hear that.  So you said Hillary should go to jail and then ignored that ever since.  Now you're going after people who worked for Hillary.

If there's anything positive to be said about what's suddenly happened to Trump, it shows how his supporters weren't devoted to him above all else.  The leftists who said otherwise were just projecting their own idol worship.  If Trump fans don't like something, or if they're taking a step back because it doesn't make sense, they'll say so.  But there's diversity of thought.  Trump's being hit hard by supporters pissed about this stuff but I'm sure he still has a lot of fans who would say the Epstein thing isn't a big deal compared to his other successes.  I don't agree but it's a positive view others can have.

Just speculation but this may be the actual point of what's going on.  Trump is demonstrating that his supporters will ditch him if he doesn't live up to his side of the bargain and we can point to ways he's failing to do that.  For the left it's all love until it turns to all hate.

To an extent, they may even be learning how different viewpoints work.  Some are blaming Biden, others are saying Harris wasn't a good replacement, a lot of them see problems with the activism for trans and illegal immigrants.  The war with Iran, the stock market, the price of gas and eggs, they were so eager to blame Trump for all that and it didn't work out.

□ [“Biden’s Doctor Refuses to Testify on Joe Biden’s Health Decline, Pleads the 5th"]

You can do that?  He was subpoenaed by Congress and doesn't have to answer any questions.  It's just Congress, it's not like they have any control over him.  He was in the executive branch, that's totally separate.

I don't get the fifth amendment part though.  The questions from Congress were about public statements he made regarding an elected official, his health and the effect it had on his job.  It's like telling your wife that you're going home with a stripper but you're not going to sleep with her.  That way you don't need to answer any questions later on why you're divorcing your wife to marry the pregnant stripper.  It's none of your wife's business and Congress would agree.

Of course it was only a few years ago that the left insisted using the 5th amendment was proof of guilt.  We'll see if they stand by that now.  Probably not.  This doctor is paid to keep people ignorant about Biden and they support that, just like they support Biden.

□ [“‘A Lot of Bullsh*t’:  Trump Vents His Frustration With Putin, Lack of Progress in Peace Process"]

Putin doesn't have to listen to you.  He's moving forward regardless what Trump says.  He's fine either way.  So why is Trump so emotional about this?

This is the short Trump, the one sitting next a taller Marco Rubio.  Maybe I should check if it's always the short Trump who gets mad and swears in public like this.  Trump is probably dealing with a lot of problems right now - just a guess - but real leaders stay much calmer when things go wrong.  And Ukraine wasn't what Trump was elected for in the first place, yet now he says he's sending in more weapons and raising sanctions on Russia.

A regional conflict that has nothing to do with us is not what Donald Trump should be focusing on.  Yet here he is, or at least one of him.  Haven't heard much about Israel and Iran in a couple weeks, so the ceasefire could be ignored and we wouldn't know.  This all looks like trying to make WWIII worse for everybody.  There's playing 4-D chess and then there's just being insane.  Just a week ago they were saying Trump had the best first six months of any POTUS.

□ [“United Kingdom and France To Work Together on ‘Nuclear Deterrence’ to ‘Protect Europe’"]

Right, what are they going to do about the latest version of al Quaida or ISIS?  They didn't do anything back when those groups were the problem and now they have a lot more Muslims in their countries.  So that's not an option.  I get the impression they're just making noise to try to sound tough and it's more about Macron and Starmer trying to deal with internal political conflicts.

To the extent we can believe any reports, it looks like most countries on the planet are dealing with this kind of stupidity.  Britain and France are there for comic relief.  Is there a reason they aren't including German in this 'alliance' to "protect Europe"?  Something doesn't seem right about that.

A lot of the news for the last week or two just appears to be fake.  I'll still take it seriously because there aren't many other options but I get the impression the elites have broken apart.  It's not obvious yet, or why they're falling apart.  I suspect it has to do with Trump as POTUS in general and the attack on Iran specifically.  Perhaps the official leaders of NATO and the EU weren't ready for Iran to have a ceasefire, whatever that amounts to at this point, so they don't know what to do next.
