*Sigh* The things I do for you. Can you think of any? Me neither. Well, good talk. Let's do this again in five or ten years.

□ [“White House Releases Statement on Bondi, Bongino Clash Over Handling of Epstein Files"]

This may be just meaningless report but on the off-chance it's not, it's an indication of problems at the top of this administration.  Apparently the two of them had an argument over the Epstein files.  Not clear what their argument was on, although Bongino and Kash Patel would have released the list months ago if they had the authority.

Reportedly the argument was related to this and Bongino is considering resigning if Bondi isn't kicked out.  Patel will reportedly resign if Bongino does.  The White House's statement is very generic, how they're all working together to fight crime.  None of this looks good and I don't think any of them are trustworthy at this point.  But they're all fairly likable and can point to successes, so it's basically impossible to pick sides.

I suspect this is an indicator of how high up the ranks the Epstein list goes.  One or more of these people is following the priorities of Epstein and his people but there's no way to tell who or why.  There could be an infiltrator from the evil conspiracy trying to undermine Trump, or it could be Trump.

For that matter, it could just be the normal problems of running an organization where people disagree.  Maybe the same thing would be happening regardless of the topic under discussion.  Or it might just be the media trying to make the Trump administration look bad.  All I can say is this probably wouldn't be happening if they had released the Epstein list months ago or years ago.

□ [“Child Labor Violations, 10 Illegal Alien Juveniles Found Working at California Pot Farm"]

So liberals were outraged that these people were providing food because Americans wouldn't do the work.  It's about making pot, not something nutritious to eat.  And these aren't adults taking an honest job, these are kids.  They shouldn't need jobs in the first place.  It doesn't sound like they're white either, so these non-white kids have been brought into the country to work on farms, something about this seems very familiar.

And the farm is owned by someone who gives money to Gavin Newsom.  No wonder Newsom is so defensive about this.  He's not going to ask for proof that these kids get paid a legal wage for their work.  Might just be more convenient for everybody to give the money to whoever brought them here.  Sort of a "trade" for the labor.

But the farm needed to have men with guns shooting at the government agents during the raid.  Is there any part of this Democrats don't support?  Haven't supported since the party was founded?  But this looks like it could blow up in Newsom's face, his support for the slave trade.  It would also hit the Democrat party hard, as more of them have to start asking how much they've supported this.  A lot of them will ignore it of course, but the divisions in the party get wider, while Trump continues getting rid of illegals and freeing slaves.

□ [“New Pope, Still Only Two Genders and Marriage Only Between a Man and a Woman"]

Sure.  I remember when Barack Obama said that and then changed his mind four years later.  Can't say I'm optimistic about Leo XIV.  Nothing against him, just that I'm very skeptical about the church changing direction now.  You'd think he'd need to purge most of the cardinals and everyone else who's spent years pushing the *woke* agenda.

There is no other comparable organized religion to compare it to.  At a guess, the English and Orthodox churches are probably the closest in size and how long they've existed, and they're still based on the same source material as the Catholics.  Islam has a Shi'ite Grand Ayatollah and Sunni Grand Imams, but they aren't commanding all the faithful across the world.  There are no Head Rabbis of Judaism.  Buddhism and Hinduism are even less organized and that's the top five religions right there.

I am personally cynical that religion should be organized in the first place, although it's obviously worked for Christianity.  But the Pope is just a man (currently) who will soon be replaced by another mortal.  As an organization that lasts for centuries, the church can be inflicted by a cancer that lasts far longer than Leo will and popes aren't known for having a long, productive future ahead of them.  If I were a true believer in the church, I would be very wary of what he says or does.

□ [“DNC Chair Ken Martin Shrugs Off Zohran Mamdani Comments:  ‘We’re a Big Tent Party’"]

Sure you are.  Look at all the Democrats who think abortion is murder or that there's only two genders or who opposed the covid vaccines or support gas-fueled cars.  Or even support buying a Tesla.  That's a big tent you got there.  This is not a guy who was installed to make decisions for the party.

Upcoming NYC-mayor Zohran Mamdani has brought the Jew-hatred to light, even more than previous Democrats.  Just his support of the phrase “globalize the intifada” shows what his real goal is.  He seems to have been silent this week, probably being told by the elites what to say and do to ensure his victory in the upcoming election.  I would say Democrats already have that election stolen but I've been wrong about that before.

But he's been open about his marxism for many years, demanding that the homes of the rich be seized for the homeless and other idiotic statements.  People are also looking into his past, like self-identifying as "black" when he applied to Columbia University.  His father was a leftist professor there but Mamdani still couldn't get in.  But this didn't lead him to do anything useful, he seems to have always been a standard leftist, whining about oppression and wasting time on pointless endeavors until he sees a way to get power, as he's doing now.

And he's all in on this, promising to seize money and property and start free government grocery stores.  The guy is obviously real but so much of this looks like a parody of leftism itself.  Even some leftists think so, the New York Times ran an article about how bad this guy would be as mayor, along with other old party spokesmen.  I hope I'm wrong but I'll assume the well-off whites will make sure he wins, regardless of what the poor non-whites think of him.  That's how it always goes.

□ [“Obama Judge Has New Order Blocking Big Beautiful Bill Barring Planned Parenthood Funding"]

Elected officials write and pass a bill, the elected chief executive signs it.  This unelected judge decides she gives orders on what can or can't be spent.  This contradicts what the Supreme Court ruled very recently but she's not going to be stopped by that.  Because tyranny or something.

Isn't it funny how free health care supporters never ask why the healthcare workers still get paid?  That's the opposite of doing it for free.  But they've said the same thing about free education for decades and the teachers just keep getting more and more money.  I guess the point is that they're not earning it, they're taking it from others without consent.  That's what the laws are for to these people.

I'm pretty sure that Trump and his people have worked out a plan.  It won't make any sense because they're dealing with legalisms and virtually nobody has the slightest interest in following that, but they're identifying these activist judges.  To the extent it's possible, I think they've also been working with the Supreme Court on this, although obviously there are limitations.  But the Supremes are the only ones with Constitutional authority.  The activist judges can't stand up to that, so why do they keep trying?  What makes them think this will work?

So what's the end point for this?  How long will it last?  That's completely unknown, weeks, months, years, or it'll never come to an end and I'm totally wrong about there being a plan.  Maybe it has to do with Trump adding more members to the Supreme Court, which is bound to happen in the next few years.
