□ [“Senate Proposals to Reopen Government Fail Again"]

No idea what percentages but I get the impression that at least some Democrats are starting to see that they're the problem.  They want the government open.  The House has passed and Senate Republicans support a stopgap that would let the government stay open until some point in November.  If you want the government open, that would do it.  But Democrats insist on it being their way and that's final.  Meanwhile Republicans are happy with the government shut-down and Democrats are stuck claiming they don't want that even though they could have prevented it and could end it now.

They claim Trump is a dictator but it's only because he's the only working part of the government.  All they have to do to stop him is vote to open the rest of the government.  Until then, Trump will do what all dictators do and reduce the size of the government.  Who the hell do Democrats think they'll convince with this?

Given how violent their supporters are, and some of us realize that we're in Civil War 2.0, there's an interesting theory of how Trump is doing this, that there is an established plan to maintain the government during a catastrophe.  So this is a 'shadow war' going on and the members of Congress know that, at least those who pay attention.  They have to keep it hidden because otherwise they are openly the enemy beyond all doubt.  This was probably covered in Trump's meeting with the top military leaders.

So how long can Democrats go?  If and when they break, will that be the defeat or will it just be the next step?  Probably the latter, even if by some miracle this doesn't go kinetic, there will be something happening to show how close we are.  The problem Democrats will face because of how insane their policies are is realizing how many psychos they've attracted and given prominence to, the ones advocating murder who whoever they don't like.

We see this with Antifa, with the attempted assassin of a Supreme Court justice getting a minimal sentence because he self-identifies as transgender.  Trump keeps getting shot at.  Then there's Charlie Kirk.  And Democrats keep applauding this and demanding more.

The Virginia AG candidate explained that “Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy.”  That may be how he gets his wife to change policy but that's not how politics is supposed to work.  Only those who fundamentally abusers and bullies would think otherwise.  And these people are just that, it's why they're so successful with the Democratic Party and is probably how the uniparty works.  But most people don't want that.

The Charlie Kirk murder is probably where it became obvious to most people, seeing those who go on line and show off their pleasure.  Then get fired because sane people don't want to be around them and businesses see a problem with keeping them employed.  Yet leftist after leftist keeps doing this, especially celebrities who never get told 'no.'

Even weirder, they're immediately trying to figure out how to form a confederacy of leftist states.  All of a sudden they'll need to accept borders and start checking if people can come or go.  They're certainly not putting this up to a vote among their own people, they're just assuming everybody agrees with them and anybody who doesn't deserves to die.  That's not going to work very well.  I think the odds are that those in charge will realize that before they get too far, although I have no idea what they'll do next.

Otherwise they'll actually declare the new confederacy and have to put up with each other.  The Warsaw Pact had similar problems, as does the recent leftist replacement of twitter.  That's actually funny to think about, if they really got this going, would they fall apart immediately (probably) or try to stick it out for a few years?  This could become a bunch of entertaining books, movies, comics, video games, etc. about the disaster they're bringing on themselves.

All right, expanding where he's sending troops and ignoring the activist judge.  And what can they do?  Congress isn't going to impeach so what other options are there?  Meanwhile these activists on the streets, whether they're antifa or not, are clearly insurrectionists, as is the city and state government supporting them.

Meanwhile Chicago is in the same situation.  Antifa does have experience trying to create their own little 'zones,' sorta like street gangs.  There's also a bigger legal problem, the Chicago police have been ordered to not interfere with Antifa attacking ICE.  State law (720 ILCS 5/7-15 and 5/7-16) requires the police to intervene, to prevent harm and injury and to provide aid.  Ordering police officers to break the law is not a smart move.  The patrol chief was the one on the radio.

And far as an "ICE-free" zone, there's a precedent to kicking the federal government out of a local area, it's called Fort Sumter.  I don't think these people even realize what they're doing, they're so worked up on Trump Derangement and leftist insanity.  I'd have to check, I'm not sure the troops have been sent to NYC or anywhere else yet.  But notice how all the talk about them being in DC has been totally absent for weeks.  The Illinois governor is making noise but it doesn't sound like he'll be much use.  Governors can only use the National Guard for legal reasons and they refuse, so Trump stepped in to handle it.

Antifa units try to be as disconnected from each other as possible, but I'm guessing they do have some overall contacts.  Bray wrote the Antifa handbook - whose cover we've seen multiple times recently - and was an organizer for Occupy Wall Street which was probably where the seeds of Antifa were planted.  He makes it sound like he's running away like a sissy, too scare to fight the tyranny he spent all this time whining about.  I suspect it's more like the feds are ready to catch him permanently so he needs to escape.  Now we'll see who he links up with in the EU.  Spain is where he's rumored to be headed.
