Day nine without a federal government.  Just relaxing and chilling, it's nice to not have to deal with all that hassle.  But then you realize that there's a transgender gay child somewhere in another country who's not getting Obamacare subsidies all because there's no federal government!  It's horrible, I *am* that child!  And so are you.  So are your neighbors, unless they voted for Trump because that's evil.  What can we do to reduce the population of these people?

No, gotta chill!  Be cool, be cool.  Maybe I should find a way to pass the time, like watching Star Wars.  Yeah, that sounds great.  Not the sequels though, they suck.  And not the prequels, they suck too.  Wow, it's amazing how little this franchise really has going for it.  But we'll always have those movies where you can stare at Mark Hamill for six hours.  He'll tell us what to do, now more than ever!

Who's making him do this?  If he was smart enough to earn the mayorship and knew what he was doing, he'd be getting the hell away from this, so someone is telling him what to say.  I know, blame Obama, but really it could be anybody.  WTF does he think this will end?

Trump would have known this would happen, which is why he's been talking about the Insurrection Act lately.  For all we know, this is where Johnson got the idea to declare himself the leader of the resistance.  Problem is, this isn't what a mayor is there for so it's not likely that people are going to be standing up with him, much less defending him from attacks.  You don't think they have drones and secret agents going around his office already to keep tabs on everything?

Some judge has just declared that deploying the National Guard to Chicago is illegal.  Apparently the Insurrection Act has a little-known clause that some random judge in Chicago can overrule it.  But that will probably get shot down in the next day or two.  I'm guessing this is why the Supreme Court hasn't spoken out all that much for the last few months and probably why Congress conveniently shut the government down.

This is going on in several places - all longtime-leftist big cities - but even there, not everybody is going on along with it.  They're going to need to purge the people who work for them - like Trump did - and then they'll have to face the rest of the populous, almost none of whom wanted this in the first place.  Even those who support these mayors and governors are going to demand perks for doing anything.  Basically they'd have to form a new government out of the ruins of the old government, and street gangs, while trying to fight the US military and protect illegal immigrants.

This is still not really giving a sign that the Trump administration is trying to punish these leftist tyrants.  One charge for marrying her father and picking different residences and misrepresenting her properties to get better mortgages?  I'm not that bothered by her only getting one charge, she's small potatoes, but it's been almost nine months without any big potatoes being fried.

Of course her judge was appointed by Biden.  Of course she sees that she's done nothing wrong.  Of course this directly contradicts public statement's she's made about people needing to be punished for lying to get a mortgage and insisting the law applies to everyone.  She has very little chance of being found guilty, virtually no chance of actually being punished and even then the punishment will be as small as possible.  These people can ignore the laws.  The Senior Prosecutor in this district even specifically refused to go after her.

She even ran for re-election promising to convict Trump for whatever she could find.  We see this across the Democratic Party, they are all going after whoever their current targets are.  They want more victims to blame and punish, whatever it takes to find them.  They achieve positions of authority this way because they can be installed by older, more experienced people who think the same way.  As many reasons as there are to criticize Trump, he's willing to stand and fight all these people for a long time.  So WTF aren't we seeing more of this?

He's black and probably gay, I can't think of any other reason an ESPN commentor gets to talk about this stuff, but that's what he's doing.  Nothing brilliant but the novelty probably stands out.  He's trying to be a dedicated leftist - because ESPN needs more of those - but they're pushing away anybody with an ounce of sense.  Like everyone else, he can see the uniparty openly want violence against anyone they disagree with.

They're all protected by the leftist government and judiciary.  They have free reign to do whatever they want and are genuinely surprised that anybody is trying to stop them.  These people had to get through their harsh home nations to get to a place where they were given free money, food, phones.  Then they had to survive the transportation across US borders.  They're military-age males, the roughest and toughest of the lot.  They're not here to adapt to our ways, they get what they want.  And leftists just adore that.

So my point is that more than anything, I think that's what Stephen A. Smith and his ilk are trying to get to here.  If this is what leftism is - and that's what we've been pointing out all these years - then no sane person wants anything to do with it.  I think this is what's happening across the country en mass, and hopefully around the whole world.  People like Smith are trying to put out a message that basically comes down to 'stop.  Get help.'  But the left doesn't want that.
