Pay attention to leftists, they won't pay for it themselves.

□ [“'No! No! No!' – Abdul El-Sayed Snaps When Asked About Family Ties to the Muslim Brotherhood"]

No way to know but it sounds like he's not doing well at this point.  Even Michigan Democrats appear to be wary about him and I'm not even sure the reason has been made public.  Sure there's the Muslim Brotherhood and similar references.  His supporters at a campaign event were asked if they'd violently overthrow the government and they said "yeah."  There's plenty of reasons not to like him but I'm not a leftist and even leftists just don't seem to like that guy.

There's definitely some organization underway here.  Not sure it's specifically connected to the modern Muslim Brotherhood but it's definitely inspired by it.  I also assume it's connected to and/or inspire by decades of Muslim organizations taking over Europe.  They're the ones causing the current riots and clearly declare that they're on Muslim territory.  In London, you hear the 'call to prayer' five times a day.  In the Vatican, the Pope is supporting Islam.  The EU elites don't need to worry about voters so they just bring more Muslims in, and their children, and their children's children.

Anyway, the same activities are going on here in the US.   NYC Mayor Mamdani insists that El-Sayed winning in Michigan would be "of critical importance" to New York City.  He babbles some nonsense about how that'll help the working class but it looks more like establishing a 'shadow government' for Muslims nationwide.  Fellow New Yorker AOC is fine with that, she just calls any questions about El-Sayed and the Muslim Brotherhood "racist."  Ah racism, is there anything it can't do?

I'm not convinced this election itself is a big deal.  If El-Sayed loses, they already have the people in place for that 'shadow government,' they'll just try a new candidate next time.  They still have influencer Hasan Piker pushing this everywhere, they know how to get leftists on their side.  These people are actually a rather small minority, they're just very good and presenting themselves otherwise and it's not like anybody has ever taken any real action against them.  That's the real down side, all they need to do is wait and they'll eventually win unless we do something.

□ [“Seattle Journalist Forcibly Dragged Out from Portland Thorns Game for Wearing XX-XY Athletics Shirt"]

It was woman's soccer - who knew that was a real thing? - so this isn't part of the WNBA deal but otherwise it's the same thing.  So I'm guessing it's deliberate, the trans activists are trying to show that all these women in all these sports need to get some real penis in them and consent isn't needed.  I haven't looked into this female journalist but this is Seattle so until proven otherwise, I'll assume she's a leftist so this was a deliberate stunt for attention and support.

I really don't see the overall point but it's not like the trans are sane.  The DOJ is already investigating this case, probably because they already know whatever the conspiracy is.  I've noticed we haven't heard much about the WNBA recently but that's normal, nobody does.  It was strange when they suddenly all went with a speech how there weren't *currently* any trans in the WNBA anyway so the right was just making up a problem.  But they did have them, one from 2013 to 2024 and another in 2021, so now they're suddenly all in on this.

I still point to the 2023 Bud Lite ad as the turning point where it became clear that normal people wanted nothing to do with this and we were the vast majority.  They were messed up even more by the 2024 election and this seems to be their next scheme.  Female sports teams may be the only place they can easily find a victory but that doesn't go very far.  It just comes as more of a desperate move than anything else, I'm guessing there is more going on but we don't see it.

□ [“70-Year-Old Florida Attorney Threatens to Kill ICE While Trying to Buy a Gun"]

They really are trying to kill people.  Long employed, no criminal record but she walks into a gun store and talks about how she's going to shoot government employees, aiming for the head and she's willing to die for that.  She's now in jail without a bond but I doubt she'll be seriously punished.  In that sense, she's not remotely a real threat.  ICE or any other law enforcement would easily be able to take her down without much danger like a cockroach.

But there's still the danger of how many there are and they're allowed to vote.  The government is doing its best to look into that fraud.  In Maine, they're investigating Somalis who count the votes.  California is trying to get those 20,000 illegal immigrant votes counted.  In Wisconsin, the candidates for governor keep swapping back and forth and they all look shady.  It's not readiness to buy a gun and start shooting people but it's the same mentality, being insane enough to do anything for power.

This is strange, it seems like it's guaranteed to failure but they keep going to aggressively that it will just never stop.  And these are the people making noise about it.  The quiet ones are the real danger and the whole point is that we don't know what they're up to.  Worrying about it is just pointless because we can't do anything about it at our level except self-defense.  It's part of the fundamental problems with any government and is why leftists are permanently encouraged to overthrow it and seize power for themselves.

□ [“Clayface Melts at the Box Office"]

Kind of surprised I've immediately looked into the release of this movie.  Yeah, I'm curious about how DC and Marvel movies are failing but this one is quite different from the others.  It's much cheaper than normal superhero movies so even if it only does Supergirl-level box office, that'll be a big hit.  It's also not a normal superhero movie, it's a Batman villain without any Batman, done as a horror movie for the Halloween audience.

The first day's release has come out and it's not good.  Even worse, this always includes the preview dates so it looks like a single-day success.  Supergirl made almost twice as much money domestically on opening day than this movie made worldwide.  It might have a good weekend, there's still Halloween coming up, word-of-mouth might help, but that's already a major strike against it.  Movies rarely make as much or more-per-day after opening day and the Marvel/DC logo hurts rather than helps.  The fans were there on Day One, ok, but does it appeal to anyone else?

The limits of the IPs quickly become obvious.  Superheroes are fairly one-dimensional in personality and story so that's a problem.  There are current attempts to turn the villains into starring characters which doesn't sound like a good idea either but it has some novelty.  Sony did this with Spider-Man villains and it was clear the goal was to do a Sinister Six movie which would include Spidey.  Near as I can tell, DC is doing something with Batman villains but what little I hear about them sounds like there's no connection.  You could just give the character a different name and do the same story.  Not sure how much appeal that would have but it wouldn't be tied down by the corporate logos.

We'll probably never be at a point where internet commenters can confidently predict a failure but we're close enough.  A DC executive testified under oath to Congress that the Superman movie lost money and that was the most successful release of this current iteration of DC movies.  DC Comics has long lost money for the corporation but tolerated because it was a very cheap way to maintain the IPs.  The movie franchise is not in the same category, this is huge loss-after-huge loss.

Even if Clayface magically turns around and does a little better, it won't make up for all the other losses.  Then what are you going to do, turn the franchise into a bunch of R-rated horror movies?  Interconnected so the audience has to keep track of all the continuity?  James Gunn better have some major blackmail evidence because his time in charge started off bad and just keeps getting worse.  Will the franchise have to be rebooted for the third time in less than fifteen years?
