□ [“Europe’s Scheme to Steal Billions in Frozen Russian Assets Collapses Under U.S. Pressure and Financial Reality"]

Just a few days ago they seemed so determined to start seizing from other nations for whatever reason they came up with.  And give other nations the incentive to do the same thing.  They don't seem to have learned anything from this, they've just been forcefully told 'don't do that' and for reasons we haven't been told, they're required to obey.

It is interesting how suddenly the EU is getting attention for this war in ways that they didn't want.  I can't be sure but I'm guessing this financial threat is the biggest problem but it's based on economics and moving around tons of money, things that normal people never deal with.  But, from the US perspective, I don't think we can see the attention the EU elites are getting for trying to push their militaries out to war, despite the decades of evidence that they just aren't up to this.

What kind of ads would you do for enlistment?  A 19-year old saying 'I heard about the threat from Russia so I ran out to enlist and fight for king and country'?  In theory, it's possible the EU is doing that sort of ad these days but it just sounds even more laughable.  So it's understandable why they're focusing more on this attempt to seize money.  You just have fewer poor people to deal with that way.

So what will the EU do next?  They need to be overthrown, that's a given, but how could that happen?  Their elites appear to be very desperate about something and I'm sure they deserve that.  *If* (God willing) we ever get to the bottom of the mess that's been overtaking the world for the last several decades, I suspect the EU might get more of the blame than anyone else.

The authorities found me unconscious in the desert, nearly dead from all the drugs.  I had been using them to cover for me, day by day through all the misery after my family turned on me.  And I deserved it.  I had failed them.  They were starving, we were nearly homeless, we were already broke.  My children couldn't learn, they had nothing to build their lives on.  My wife had turned on me.  She considered me worthless and she was right.

I had spent everything we owned on our family business, it was supposed to make up for all my previous failures.  The debt was overwhelming, all the eyes upon us were filled with mockery.  But I had a plan and I was determined to follow it.  Even worse, it came so close to success.  I had actually been selling goods to happy customers.  We were bringing in money, we were almost able to make a payment on the debt.  It would be the last chance we had but I was convinced it would work.

But something went wrong which is what started me on that downward spiral.  To this day, I still recall seeing that hope dwindle.  Just a little more money, all I need to do is sell one more set of power converters and our lives in Tosche Station will start improving.  I don't know what happened but that customer never arrived.

□ [“Trump effect hits the pump as Christmas gas prices sink to 5-year low"]

This is one of those 'immediate benefits' I keep urging Trump to go for, since he's not arresting any of the uniparty for their corruption and treason.  This was something I assume he went for on Day One, leasing as much oil-drilling as he could.  It's quite possible part of the agreement was that oil companies would lower prices as quickly as possible, probably getting other perks if they started doing that before even finding more oil.

I'm sure the prices are lowering in blue states but it'll be noticeable that they aren't as far down as the rest of the country.  That'll obviously be because these states have their own laws and taxes which keep the prices high.  They aren't all leftists and this will be a regular occurrence, seeing their leaders leach out more money than their neighbors.

I'm not really sure why but oil drilling and gasoline pumping is clearly much more complicated than we'd expect so there's a lot of twists-and-turns with government involvement.  This is probably why the left has totally retreated from the 'global warming' myth for the time being, which included the intent to ban gas-powered vehicles sometime within the next decade.  As I said, I don't get why this would need a long-range plan, although it does take years to drill oil, but they had clearly been working towards this for a long time and the Biden administration policies meant they had reached their ideal state.  But in less than a year, we're back to gas prices cheaper than they've been for a long time.

□ [“Merz Wants German Troops in Ukraine After the War Ends, With Rules Allowing Them to Fight Russia"]

You know, *some* German leaders don't need to wait for others to give permission to put troops in Ukraine.  I'm trying to think of a joke about how other EU members are trying to use economics and threats while Germany's just saying they'll send in troops to handle things.  Maybe you should start protecting Germans from immigrants, you know, just to warm up and get some practice in before you really get started.

□ [“Relentless Russian Strikes on Ukraine Energy Sector – Daily Power Cuts in All Regions"]

And nobody's saying 'if only the Germans were here, they'd fix everything!'  I guess I'm a bit skeptical, they're really hitting ALL of Ukraine with this?  The whole country goes without electricity at least 12 hours a day because that's all they have left running things?  I guess it's believable but do they really want to return to the stone age?  Things like this indicate that Russia isn't treating this like an actual war, it's more like cat and mouse.  They also hit Odessa a few days ago so now they're without electricity and water.

And of course the US isn't getting out.  Congress has just voted for more Ukraine funding, different bills from each houses but they'll surely be combined and there's little doubt Trump will sign.  Mostly it's because of what the EU is doing but I do get a sense we're starting to see the real problem and it's not just any of the obvious countries to blame.  It's like there's something deeper going on than any of us could conceive.  As much as I want Trump out of this mess, I do think he's working to expose whatever-it-is.
