No one has nominated Sydney Sweeney as 2025 Woman of the Year, which shows just how bad a year this was.

□ [“Somali Daycare Manager Claims Burglars Broke Into Facility, Stole All 'Important Documents'"]

But *only* the important documents, regarding the employees and the children they're supposedly giving care to.  Didn't want anything else, how strange is that?

The House Committee on Oversight has subpoenaed Walz to testify to them next week.  Ordinarily this could be encouraging but here hasn't been any reason to think Congress will do anything about this.  Walz might just follow the Clinton's example and ignore Congress.  What would they do about it?

The left has finally figured out a defense, it's "racist" to expose Somali fraud of taxpayers.  They don't even notice that they're the ones focusing on skin color.  Most people would be fine with getting rid of anyone who does this.  But as you might expect, crying about "racism" isn't not enough for the left.

□ [“Politico Reporter Josh Gerstein Incites Violence Against Federal Agents Amid Minnesota Fraud Scandal"]

“At some point, the amateur effort to knock on doors of home daycares intersects with robust stand-your-ground laws.”

The 'stand your ground' laws is about fighting against an actual threat.  Knocking on the door at a public business is not a threat.  The headline is incorrect, it's not ICE he was referring to but the citizen journalist who exposed these Somali frauds by knocking on the door at their daycare services.  So really, he's advocating murder of anyone who knocks on your door and says you'll get away with it.  Or you would if Minnesota had 'stand your ground' laws, which they don't.  So really he's advocating murder just because, although Somalis might still get away with it.

More investigations are continuing, into the food and drugs provided to these daycare centers and other Somali businesses.  They probably get the first look but I would assume it's not limited to Somalis.  And the media still hasn't figured out how to cover this.  They're stuck, if they even tried to report on what's so "racist" about these crimes being exposed, they'd need to detail the crimes and might actually give their viewers some real information.  That would be bad.  They're deliberately not investigating and exposing these crimes and I'm curious what government rules there are to be counted as "news" that lets them ignore a big story like this.

□ [“RINO Ohio Governor's Office Dismisses Daycare Fraud Allegations as ‘Cost of Doing Business’"]

“If people are out there who could not contemplate that people were trying to defraud the public through day care centers, I understand it’s new to them but it’s been known to the state for decades.  So therefore, we have robust anti-fraud measures to try and stop this, this is something that is unfortunately the cost of doing business.”

This is how they'll ignore it.  Defrauding the taxpayer is the cost of doing business.  So calling you "racist" is still an option but this will be their main tactic for the time being.  The uniparty knows they can get away with this.  And we're still at the beginnings of what will be exposed.

I keep saying the Trump administration actually has a plan and I think that's why this is coming out now as the years changed.  The left has been deluding itself into thinking the mid-terms are an easy win - even easier than 2024 - but now they'll have to spend the year answering for all this.  Their most experienced and popular politicians are deep into this, they'll be challenged in primaries and then will have to face actual voters.  They could be trying to expose the fraud now and they aren't even trying.  That's the "cost of doing business."

□ [“No Theft of Russian Sovereign Assets:  Belgium & Orbán Stop the EU’s Legal Madness"]

Unless you really wanted to watch everything collapse, this is a good way to end the year.  With a bit of sanity, Germany has accepted defeat on their demand to seize Russian assets at EU financial institutions.  When push comes to shove, they were going to ignore international law and create chaos for everybody because they wanted a war on Russia darnit!

I'm still surprised that Belgium was the one fighting most against this.  They were the target because the majority of Russian assets are stored at Euroclear in Brussels.  It's a valid question if this was part of some plan Russia had but I'm not enough of economist to even understand what these assets are and why they're stored here in the first place.  But Belgium is the heart of the EU, I'm really surprised that they weren't the ones going for this all along.

But the Prime Minister handled it in one of those ways that, whether or not it really happened, will probably be remembered by history.  He just told Germany that if they did this, "will you guarantee Belgium against all legal and financial consequences without limit?"  "Without limit."  This illustrates the problems with socialism, Germany wasn't willing to take the risk they were demanding their servants to perform against the enemy.  They want war but they're not *all* in on it.

I'm sure it won't happen right away but I suspect this will be where the EU's downfall can be pointed to.  They're standing on opposing sides, obvious to the public.  We might start seeing the removal of their respective governments in ways we haven't seen, well, since it happen to Eastern Europe.  I would hope Russia doesn't help with this but they're Russia so they probably will.  Something else they have decades of experience with.

□ [“Chances of Iran regime falling surge as unrest spreads"]

Several sudden stories about protests in Iran, some even saying they're getting violent.  Reportedly it started with problems about the value of the rial but I think that's just a surface detail.  Trump has probably had troops on the ground pushing for this all year, at least since his strikes last summer and it wouldn't surprise me if US agencies have been working on this even longer.  The protestors have even taken over a city in Khuzestan, a region on the Persian Gulf, very close to Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

This just comes off as such good news that I'm worried it's just A.I. generated and has nothing to do with reality.  It's Iran, there's no reason to think this will end well but it is a very positive possibility.  This has a chance of seriously wounding BRICS as well as agents connected around the world, such as Venezuela.  There's Iran's support for Islamic terrorism and their nuclear program.  There's been protests for a while which obviously failed but at least there's still hope.

Even better, the left must ignore this, up to and including Obama.  We know he had more ties with them than just sending cash but this could be exposed too.  We don't know how much of the 'deep state' or the leftist infidel Iran has supported all these years but it's probably more than zero.  Then there's the effect that Persia itself has had on the world for thousands of years.  I'm sure I'm just being naively optimistic but at least there's some positive news to end the year with.
