Another 160 training providers are also being shut down.  It's unclear how many there are in the US.  My internet search says there are 395 school businesses and about 14000 listed on Indeed.  Assuming a "business" is a franchise that operates in many locations, this isn't shutting down a large number of schools.  It's not a huge hit although given the need for truck-drivers, I would think any hit is a big one.

But this is an "emergency shutdown."  This indicates there's a specific reason to hit these schools immediately.  Are these the only schools that license drivers who don't speak English or are the people going through these schools up to something shady?  The trucks could be used to transport illicit material or people.  There are many possible reasons for this so I won't make a guess but I bet the Transportation Department and other federal authorities already know what's going on.

Whether it's Antifa, China, the "new world order" or the modern version of Al Qaida, the enemy does need to use logistics and transportation.  That's obvious, it's how an organization works.  I've been wondering how many people in these fields are working for the enemy and how much has been hit by the Trump administration.  I would like a better picture of the need for these skills but I'm a 92y so that sort of thing is typical for me.  But we may get to see very soon how needy some of these organizations are for transport and logistics.

He supported them getting a raise before he took power, now he's opposed to it.  Funny how that works.  He is suing the city council to stop it although he could have just vetoed it.  I doubt it was just a lie to help him take power, he probably really believed in this.  That's something leftists never learn, there are rules and regulations people don't like but they're there for a reason.  They just call it "oppression" and promise to erase it, then everything starts falling apart.

This lines up with thinking that if they say something, it becomes real.  You can argue that it is possible, "pushing a narrative" as the current saying goes, but it would require leadership and recognizing actual ability.  But that would just get you accused of whatever 'ism' the left is ranting about now, it's their technique to destroy the concept of "ability."  And so you're left with people who have to sue each other to avoid keeping the promises they made to gain power instead of actually fixing things.

The teachers union will need to fight him or comply.  You'd expect leftists to obey the master and that's certainly a big possibility but so is turning on their own.  They're paid to teach how bad money is so they're entitled to more money and anyone who disagrees is bad.  This is just the most obvious problem Mamdani is having so there's a lot more going on against him.  You know, one reason to have a smaller government is just to prevent problems like this but that would also be against leftism so the more problems, the better.

You learn something new every day if you're not careful.  The Orders Book is apparently a collection of 'what's currently going on' for the Secretary of Defense.  Whatever information, diagrams, guidance, he's looking at that to make decisions.  I also learned that high-ranking officers can state their official opinions on the issue at hand, fighting Iran in this case.  Four high-ranking officers expressed disagreement with troops being stationed so long in the Middle East and now the Washington Post has identified them to the world.

How the f*ck did the Post get that information?  This is about as classified as you can get and yet somehow they got it with no problem.  There are probably very few people who get to see the contents of this Orders Book, a few more people who would have access to what these officers contributed.  Two admirals and two generals, the Chief of Naval Operations and the Commanders of European, Southern and Indo-Pacific Command.  The leaker, or the spy drone, is probably located in one part of the Pentagon.  Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Reading the Post article is behind a paywall and I'm too lazy to do the work to see who wrote the article - a Post employee named Dan Lamothe promoted it on twitter, he may be the author - but that guy will now be a target.  From what we can see, it's just a stupid move on his part.  He's blowing everything to be able to report that people in the military are allowed to openly disagree.  All to help Iran.

Of course they're proud of this.  Lamothe and the Post have already announced how this was heroic journalism.  They don't mention possessing classified information, which is a crime, or publishing it, which is also a crime.  Hopefully they'll find out very quickly what that really means.  We'll see if their billionaire owner can help them now.

It does look disturbing like this black woman clearly doesn't want to be here.  There's no clue who she is or who she's representing in this endorsement, she's just reading what she's told to say.  El-Sayed is nudging her on, like she needs guidance.  The other Minnesota Senator, white woman Mallory McMorrow, is just staring at her in that empathetic way women suggest there might be harsh punishment afterwards.  This is how you'd look at a hostage on tape if you picked her to give marching orders to the other black servants.

They'd better rush to clarify this quickly because it's not going to win over any voters and might repulse a lot more.  They're supposed to be getting Obama to promote them too.  I don't know if he's done that yet but they might have problems there.  This is the 'socialist Muslim movement' he was put in place to establish and it's tearing apart his own party.  So it makes sense that El-Sayed and McMorrow needed to grab someone and push her out in public to make them look good.

We barely see any of it but it's still clear that Democrats are having major internal problems.  AOC is trying to make herself a coherent national figure so she's suddenly started pretending to be moderate.  I doubt she has much to do with it, it's probably the people around her, but she is one of the most prominent DSA advocates.  She shows the problem, insisting that she's just a local DSA member, she's not in the national group.  Never hear her describing the differences from one MAGA group to the next neighborhood over.

So there's a lot of conflict, groups-within-groups and very little of it is made public.  This is another problem with leftism, there needs to be a coherent vision that appeals to a lot of people.  They're opposed to that, it's why they make up so many things to self-identify as, whether "socialist" or "communist" or "transgender."  They need to pretend they're different but they really aren't.  They also really don't like facing other people who act like their mirror-selves.

I'm still not going to be optimistic and insist Democrats will lose big-time in November but there's a lot of evidence to support that.  But I will say I think the Trump administration has been planning for this and so far it seems to be working well.  This is the basics for people who aren't interested in politics, they'll get on with their own lives and let others fight it out.

DC is doing the same thing, insisting that you must see Supergirl to understand what happens in next-year's Superman.  I haven't heard them say that for a while, meaning someone in charge might actually want to get out of this mess, but IIRC Gunn, the lead actress and one of the other creative personalities all said this a few months ago.

These franchises are already overwhelmed with dead weight and ridiculous expenses, this just makes the problem worse.  I always assume there's some sort of cult mentality going on and try to amuse myself by figuring out what the cult is.  With DC, I think they're trying to push Gunn out and since he doesn't have much in the way of success to fall back on, he's pushing out an increasingly weird series of lies.  He's now pushing to do a Batman movie, he was ready to resign, he's already signed a new contract.  Reportedly the first episode of Green Lantern had a lot of viewers but I'm guessing they were watching the train wreck.  If that viewership continues, I'll still assume it's his cult obeying him just to make something look like a hit.

With Marvel, they really don't know where they're going.  Just a few years ago, Kang was supposed to be the big bad-guy for these group of movies.  All those grand plans had to be thrown away and replaced with giving RDJ enough money to buy a mid-sized country.  Something about this just seems like cult behavior, it's not remotely about interesting people who aren't already part of the group.  And it also looks like they've been working for years to take over big entertainment companies.  Yet-another reason why they've both been pushing the concept of 'multiverses.'

I'm not particularly interested in what extent they're promoting terrorism - although I'm glad others are focused on that - I'm more curious about who those other connections are and what current mess they're in.  Media figure Tucker Carlson is demanding Trump be immediately impeached.  He's been defending Iran for months and this is just more of the same.  Looking it up, I've said very little about Carlson and most of what I've said is about something else that he just happened to be part of.  He seems to be someone I should like but just comes off as a RINO somehow, more evidence in my theory that most RINOs were installed by the left as "controlled opposition."

By the same token, Rolling Stone Magazine - who knew that was still a thing? - is busy pushing Hasan Piker, the woke black gay Muslim or whatever he is.  He's gotten tons of attention recently and it doesn't look good to sane people so of course the left needs to keep pushing him.  He's an influencer, does streaming and has had a lot of big names on his show.  He also really hates Jews and made some recent comments about that which are turning off even some leftists.  My point is that these people who are famous for no real reason seem to getting desperate.  I'm betting they're connected to antifa too.

Then there's Bill Mahar who won't go away.  He's always struck me as a sane leftist, or maybe more "controlled opposition."  He still gets attention for trying to tell Democrats to stop pushing the *woke* agenda so much, it just drives people away.  Or AOC who was on ABC News a couple weeks ago to say “Woke 1 was crazy.”  The implication is that the party does see a problem with openly expressing its goals so they're going to try rebranding it.  These are all people who are probably being investigated and are probably closer to supporting terrorism than they're willing to admit.  Their followers are even worse.

This is very odd.  The job is to work for people who are very rich, 25-29 hours a week, unpaid.  What sort of mind even considers that a job opportunity?  The job description requires a lot of ability in a lot of different fields, that's usually the sort of thing you'd pay for.  But not the people who claim to help others so much.

It's specifically working as an intern for Hillary.  Bill also has an ad for a “Special Projects Associate” and that will pay $50-55 thousand a year.  That's a big difference.  Both jobs require you to be in NYC so I don't know how far that much money will get you there but it's a lot better than what Hillary has to offer.  And doesn't that tell you what you need to know about this couple?

I wonder if this is some specific legal definition that would only be relevant to a couple dozen people.  Perhaps as man and wife who used to be high-level politicians and run a 'foundation' they have very detailed rules on what they can or can't pay people for.  It's probably something that would make absolutely no sense even if we were told the basic reasoning behind it.  But even without that, it just stands out that Hillary refuses to pay you for your time and effort.  She's entitled to it because she cares so much.

The timing is also curious.  Bill's offer is theoretically for a permanent job, assuming he doesn't die soon.  Hillary's job is only for September 9 through November 13th.  Two months without pay in NYC, I guess this isn't a job for poor people.  But it does make me wonder about those weird legal requirements.  Perhaps they're both required to offer jobs, Bill will hire one, then drop dead and Hillary gets to pick up where he left off.  I don't know what the point would be but I also don't get why either of them would be suddenly advertising to hire new people now anyway at their age.

But this also spreads over to Iran's allies around the world.  We're hitting all of their economies, most notably China that can't get oil.  It looks like we're basically running the Strait now, probably with help, so Iran can't do much about that either.  And all their western leftist allies are being hit in ways they didn't expect.  Most of them had no clue who was funding them.

Speaking of Venezuela, this also shows that the war is going on in ways most of us don't see.  R-FL Salazar said that the oil deal Trump made with Venezuela will expire as soon as he leaves office.  Then she suddenly erased that post and replaced it with how this was a great deal, it will hurt China and help the Venezuelan people.  Maybe she just changed her mind - women, amiright? - or her staff disagreed on what to post.  Or maybe someone in the administration pointed out what was actually going on and she suddenly retreated, she knew which side she had to support.

The clock is ticking in more ways than one.  There's a week left for Trump to bring gas prices down 90 days after he said he would.  I know he's a showman but there's also a business consideration here, don't rely on a last-minute victory.  Venezuela was a great move and he's gotten a lot of leeway with how long this Iran thing has lasted.  The fact that the damage is all on their side is also a plus.  But it's time to finish this off, perhaps even to celebrate for the upcoming anniversary.

But I think the party is having bigger problems that still haven't become public.  It just came out that a candidate in Colorado had been arrested for public drunkenness a few months ago, after several months of campaigning.  It sounds like being drunk wasn't a big deal in itself but he got very violent while being arrested.  The footage released shows him raging in a restraint device created for criminals who don't act like the normal drunks.  It's the sort of incident that reveals who a person really is, instead of who they pretend to be to gain power.

Basically they're getting ready to go out of business because of the new government policies, leaving the situation worse than it was before Mamdani got involved.  It's not his only achievement.  He promised free bussing and that's not happening.  Rent is frozen so now landlords can't afford maintenance for the residences.  The city is also being sued by immigrant-owned grocery stores because they see being driven out of business competing against the government.

Like everything else, I have to assume Trump 2.0 has planned for this, giving leftists the maximum opportunity to show everyone how horrible they are at doing anything.  If (!) we can avoid voter fraud, the mid-terms will show Democrats that nobody wants what they offer.  Even those who do want it realize they need replacements.  Then there's the rest of the party who've spent the last couple years agreeing with DSA and hope to be on the ballot in 2028.  What are they supposed to do, claim they'll be different than the failures they've been supporting?  Even their own people will have to work to avoid seeing the problems with that.

There's the old anecdote of someone reading the newspaper and seeing that they were very wrong on a subject he's very knowledgeable about and then looks at the rest of the paper, wondering what else they got wrong.  And CNN can't be bothered to see if they got the right celebrity who's been famous around the world for decades.  Of course they had to apologize but is there any reason to believe that?

And they're trying to fight the Warner Bros/Paramount merger, or otherwise be separated from the company so they can stay in California.  It says a lot about their priorities.  Given that they already support the government being in control of what media is broadcast, maybe they should ask the Trump administration for advice and guidance.  Or maybe none of this matters, it's not like they have much in the way of an audience.

It's a start.  I watched several of the videos, not all.  I had wondered where the police were, I did see a few in uniform but they weren't doing anything.  Then I noticed the news said there were clashes with the police.  How nice, that's more than they did to protect Spaniards from the invader.  I did check and found one short video where the police (?) fired some rubber bullets.  But it was still daylight when the attack happened and this video was at night.  I'd like to think the police deliberately held off doing anything as long as they could.

The attackers destroyed the shacks and tossed the wreckage into the sea.  It would be easy to replace but it's important that they get rid of any sign that non-Spaniards tried to take their land.  Also funny was a female leftist reporter trying to support the invaders and the crowd quickly took over the camera.  It's been a month and the government hadn't done anything about it, now it was their turn.

So it's nice to see this but it's a very short glimpse of progress.  These invaders probably haven't left the country, just the beach, and the government will be ready to protect them tomorrow.  Every government in Europe will see the need to step in and support the invaders against the citizens.  If we're lucky, the majority of police will refuse but I wouldn't bet on that.  I have no idea to what extent Europe actually has any free elections or if anything relevant is coming up any time soon but this will encourage the nationalist parties to win more votes.  Even if it doesn't happen soon, they're getting closer to a point where the people will rebel.  Or the government will entirely replace them with new subjects.

After several months of being mostly quiet, the trans movement is loud again, trying to pretend that most people side with them despite all the proof to the contrary.  The fact that they don't just quietly go on with their pretend-lives shows that they're the real problem.  I'm guessing they think this will help in the mid-terms although the foreign financing may also be relevant.  As skeptical as I am about other victories against the left, this is definitely one where the majority clearly doesn't support this and is sick of the minority pushing it on everything.

I don't get why city and state governments are trying to push this now, along with media and Hollywood.  At least putting it into government policy leaves the chance that it'll stay, even if they lose elections, but what would they do differently if they were determined to push more people away?  I can't figure out how but I still think Trump 2.0 planned this, to trick these people into doing this and show everyone how ludicrous they are.  And hopefully to expose whoever's in charge of this.

This is just idiotic.  First of all, you're ignoring tens of millions of people to think you can get through this.  Second of all, you're not actually knowing the jobs of the people you're pretending to be, the requirements and the regulations.  Third of all, you have no way to see any actual results.  Apparently some congressmen and other officials are participating so they have some actual knowledge but this has little to do with reality.  At best it comes across as trying to work out a plan but ignores that the enemy gets a say.

There's also the fact they will obviously ignore facts on the ground.  Blacks don't like transgenders, if you have one group, you lose the other, so how do you "wargame" that?  I'm not saying this is totally worthless, you might come up with some marketing strategies to tell blacks what they want to hear while winking to your real allies what you're doing.  But this comes as elites working out ways to keep the peasants in line, that's not what a "wargame" is supposed to do.

Just the fact that they're going to play "big influencers online" shows how far off the rails this notion is.  And who is funding it by the way?  The, uh, the wargames, not the, you know, big influencers online.  These games will probably have them using some secrets they hide from the public but that's another problem.  You might be able to "pretend you don't know" these secrets but how do you include the enemy that already does know?

And how do you plan to deal with Trump Derangement Syndrome?  You probably can't fake that but you can bet Trump and MAGA have lots of experience with it.  A "wargame" should show you where you're weak so you know what to improve on.  There is absolutely no sense that you're willing to test that which is a good way to guarantee your loss, just as you've had against Trump all these years.  Hell, offer me enough money and I'd probably be willing to put you through some of that.  Treat it like an actual "wargame" and not just telling your buddies how awesome they are.

This is part of the trade arguments going on since the Great Lakes are customarily considered how goods get moved between the countries.  I also wonder if it's part of Trump's push for nationalism, reminding Canada that they need to justify their own existence.  If you're on stolen land anyway (or lake) then we'll just take it.  What's the difference?

Like I say, it's probably just too hopeful to think he'll need to turn on his mother to save himself, or that she'll do something obviously tyrannical to save him.  But Omar is the most obvious target of the "Squad" and they're all tied to DSA and foreign enemies so it is possible this could go somewhere.  I'd like to think every day or two for the next month, we'll keep seeing another big step forward that finally reveals what our elites have been up to for so long.

Otherwise, as much as I'd like to believe otherwise, I'm coming to the conclusion that at best, we'll get to see who the enemy is by the time Trump leaves office.  Maybe if Republicans can overcome the voter fraud this November, maybe if actual MAGA gets elected, something can be done, but I'm not optimistic at this point.  It's more like Trump is just doing the ground work and younger men will have to handle the next step when he's gone.  But it would be nice to be proven wrong about that.

It's not an easy problem to fix.  It's probably not that hard for Democrats to talk like normal people although on an individual level, that doesn't mean they'll be convincing.  Even if they are convincing, there's still no reason to believe them.  That means every big name Democrat is out of luck.  It's even worse if they have to do more than talk, they have to *act* normal.  No one tried to eat the hamburger Chuck Schumer had barbequed.

This is several different things coalescing in one spot.  As politicians, they're used to their own buzzwords.  It's similar to military-speak, I've probably forgotten most of what I used to know but there was a lot of it which wouldn't remotely be comprehensible to anyone outside the bubble.  Then there's leftists going for their own "educated" words, or just following the latest trend.  All of this already existed but was multiplied a thousand-fold when we got internet access because we could focus all our thoughts on those 'like us,' meaning they all talked the same way.

Then there's still the problem of getting people to believe it.  The brand-new candidates have a chance, they have no record to look back at.  But there's still leftist voters who will be offended by not hearing what they want to hear.  I can't think of any Democrat since Bill Clinton who was really able to sell that to the public.  Top-of-my-head guess, Obama was a distant second and only in the primaries and the campaign.  And they surrounded themselves with leftists who built this problem Democrats are now facing.

Just the fact that they're becoming open about this problem shows how big it is and how hard it'll be to solve.  They've spent decades pandering to the left, everything they do is based on that.  They'd have to tear down the whole system and start rebuilding, which is what the left is demanding anyway.  And this isn't even considering what the donors want.  'I want to seize your money so give me money!' isn't a good argument, and that's before getting into the candidates running for Senate who want to remove the Senate.  Then there's the desperate need for voter fraud, the problems just keep building on each other.

Trump did an executive order in March, making it so the Post Office didn't have to take ballots to people who weren't confirmed US voters.  District Judge Indira Talwani issued a stay on this.  The Supreme Court overruled her so she overruled the Supreme Court.  Now she's decided to back down.

I've got several articles open on this and none of them are clear.  Partially it's the legal language - is "stay" the right term or was that what the Supreme Court issued? - and partially it's because this judge has already had to obey the Supremes against a different Trump executive order.  Nobody writes this stuff in a sensible straightforward manner so it's really not clear which ruling is being referred to paragraph-by paragraph.  It's also not clear if it was the SCOTUS or the Justice Department who convinced her to retreat.

I don't like covering these judicial stories because they're so confusing.  This is why nobody likes dealing with the legal system.  But whatever the problem is, it's building.  This chick was defying the Supreme Court and even when she reversed, her statement made it clear that it wasn't because of the law, she just had no other options.  That's not how you should run a courtroom.

Yet that's how the left wants its courts to be run.  They've been installing these people around the country for decades.  At least this district judge probably saw a reason to eventually comply, if she doesn't obey the judges above her, the same standard can be applied to her.  But we're getting to a point where there's no reason to rely on judges either.  The whole field is just too far away from normal people for us to see any point in dealing with them, even if that way leads to chaos.

And especially Harris.  There's a reason Clinton and Obama never made a big point of endorsing candidates around the country and at least they had something to offer.  Harris doesn't even have that.  Notice that she hasn't found anything useful to do with her life in the last two years except try to see if she can get elected anywhere.  There was a brief moment where she considered running for California governor and then that ended quickly.  Don't recall any explanation so it's clear the party didn't want her there either.

The polls can't be trusted of course but "officially" she's still at the top of the list for potential candidates.  Her own fellow Democrats don't want anything to do with her but somehow she's popular and nobody ever says what she's popular for.  She fits all the check-boxes of DEI requirements?  Not a good way to win elections, at least not fairly, and at least some candidates know that.

So this is an indication of the internal conflict the party is facing.  They keep it private so we have no way of knowing how many just don't like Harris, how many don't see her as an asset professionally, how many are jealous of the attention she gets, how many actually support her and the *woke* agenda she was supposed to install.  The race-based DEI policies that got her this far haven't gone away.

We see this all over, people are just going off the rails.  Just the fact that these leftists got installed in such high positions is starting to show the scope of the conspiracy against us.  He's backed by Soros which shows a lot of what's going on - because leftists love billionaires who tell them what they want to hear - but if Soros wasn't there, others would be doing the same thing.  The goal is to destroy everything and they aren't even bothering to hide it anymore.

Trump 2.0 obviously has a plan to deal with this but there's just no way to measure how it's working.  We really would like to see some actual victories at some point but so far it looks like we'll be lucky to even have a clear definition of who the enemy is by the time he leaves office.  Maybe they'll all just flip out and run around bonkers but I wouldn't bet on that.

But I do think Trump has hit them in a way that's making them snap.  We see a lot of this now, from famous people or posts on social media.  They're showing that they aren't the type of person you'd want to be around when things get rough but according to them, things are rough now.  The rest of us have seen tensions get higher and higher over the last decade or two but we haven't gone over the cliff yet.  I'm also wondering how military policies might have been put to use here, thinking specifically of Basic Training where some people really couldn't handle the new policies we lived under.  The Drill Sergeants were able to identify that and step in, usually before something bad happened.  Perhaps that's what the Trump administration is doing here.

Haven't heard anything about negotiations for a while.  If there's anything going on, it might just be a way to keep track of whoever might be in charge at this point.  It's possible that our attacks have broken the Iranian government down into factions who are just pulling for whatever control they can get.  This is definitely the weirdest war I've ever seen.  No way to know but all the pro-Iranian forces might just be wandering around with no idea what to do.

That even lines up here in the US.  What happened to all the protests?  Last year there were thousands of anti-Trump protests every month, and that was before the war with Iran started.  It's like there's a lot more Trump supporters than the left is willing to admit or there's just a lot fewer people being paid to have protests.  It's almost certainly the latter but the point I'm making here is that these people are opposed to the war and anti-war protests would get a lot of publicity.  Whether they realize it or not, these people are siding with Iran yet they're just staying on the internet to complain about the war.  How much of that money was coming from Iran?

Unusually, I've heard about this for several days, this is the first time I've seen any reports on news sites, at least any of the ones I go to.  The left couldn't say much, there was nothing to point to about Orange Man Bad!!!  They also needed to hold off to get the blacks to suffer enough, that way they could cry 'racism!'  Wouldn't help Democrats if some rich Democrat sent in food and an electric crew to fix things on day three of the crisis.

But now a crew with security is finally able to start fixing things so the mayor can start bitching about how bad whity is for making this happen.  The state government has promised to investigate the electric company for being racist.  None of them lifted a finger to fix the problem, they just want to find someone else to blame.  Which is just what the residents are now doing on social media after someone else provided them electricity.  Not a good look but that's how they want it.

This guy's a streamer, Michael Beyer, not someone who seems used to violence.  This is why I keep saying those who are not on his side need to start putting groups together in their neighborhood and town.  Particularly those with military or police experience, they'll at least know how such an organization works.  At least by their looks, the people in these videos really don't comprehend what they're getting themselves into.

This is one of those things that really look like they could go either way.  The most likely option would be that these people have no clue what's going to happen.  They're a vast minority with no training or understanding of what's going on so of course they want to seize power and are willing to do anything to get it.  Or rather, they'll order others to do anything to get it.  I am very slowly becoming confident that this is what the results will be.

The problem is that there's still a significant chance that they'll be capable of something.  Either they can handle a real attack themselves or they're such a large number that they're basically unstoppable.  Or most likely they're pawns used by China or Iran or whoever, bringing in nukes or bioweapons that'll take the rest of us down quickly.  That's the real danger and I just don't see any way most people can defend against it.

So keep both possibilities in mind but I gotta admit, these people do look ridiculous.  They have barely any power but they're already proclaiming violent intent against the rest of us.  That's just a stupid way to go.  A couple grenades at their rallies would basically end the problem there.  Even if they steal every election by some miracle - apparently there are some going on tonight - that doesn't mean anyone's going to obey them.

ICE was given an FOIA request about Omar's immigration status and refused to answer because it would interfere with "enforcement proceedings."  This means they're investigating her so they won't answer.  The implication is that they're checking if she's still married to her brother and what's up with that?  I doubt that's all, she has to provide marital duties to her brother, that's just the way things go in Congress.

I think it's more likely they'll be looking into the Somali connections in Minnesota.  Haven't heard much about it for several months but it was the most prominent example of colonization outside of the Texas border which Trump shut down last year.  I don't know if it's the biggest example but Omar is the reason they got all the attention.  Most notably there were the federally-funded childcare services although I'm sure DOGE found plenty of other examples in the region.

Omar is also the most obvious target of AOC's "Squad" so connections to her will probably be connections to the others.  From there we see the connections to the whole DSA movement.  I only just found out she was a long-time member.  It's one of those things you don't pay attention to because they obviously agree on everything whether or not you actually join the club, but she's the star of this group and this was obviously about installing her into a position of power.  So with Omar as the other prominent member - I can't even name any others - we can glimpse the organization and its goals.

We can safely assume China and Iran are the main supporters of their movement although any number of other leftists are also tied in.  This is why it's a big deal that ICE is investigating Omar.  As a member of Congress she gets a lot of immunity for things that the rest of us would be punished for because the laws don't apply to everybody.  I am very tired of waiting for anybody to get punished and am not impressed by these hints that *something* is being done.  That said, for the time being I'm optimistic that we're on the edge of something big in the next two weeks.

The corporations are trying to figure out how to make their IPs into whatever they want at the moment, deliberately ignoring what made them popular.  This may just be trying to develop a standard corporate policy.  First you make something that everybody likes, then you aim at different target audiences and for blockbusters like this, try to include some piece that will appeal to each.  Then when that fails, figure out how to redefine your IP in numerous different ways.

This is just propaganda that they're going to appeal to everybody.  They couldn't do that with a Han Solo movie which had a bigger audience than this year's failure.  They don't have any characters that attract people and at this point, the story is the last thing they bother with.  Talk about this or that spin-off or something in other media is just the edge of a tree branch when they're trying to cut down the trunk.

I'm wondering if Disney really has specific knowledge of how to establish a cult and their purchase of Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar was about expanding that.  There's been a slow release of reports about people who visit Disneyland many times a year and everything about them seems mentally like they're four year olds.  People who live as close to Disneyland as possible, not because they work there or one of the related companies, but as the center of their lives.  Germany, Russia, China, North Korea and probably the US has conducted massive experiments on how to control their population and good or bad, that research was shared with others.  That might explain what Disney is doing here with Star Wars.

That's why this release comes off so empty.  You could make the argument that Kathleen Kennedy is still calling all the shots and it wouldn't make a difference, this is what the company is after.  Whether for the last decade or for the last century, this is what they've always been working towards.  It just seems guaranteed to fail but it's startling how many people have automatically been won over with no hesitation.  If I paid more attention to current Star Wars, it might explain a lot about how the current definitions of the light and dark sides of the force, which was definitely a replacement for religion.

This also happened in Michigan a week ago.  Government clerks making videos pointing out how immigrants get registered to vote.  It's a more-or-less automatic process, they aren't able to stop it at their level and their superiors refuse to do anything, or even admit there's a problem.  So they're calling it out in public videos.

I assume that most government employees support the voter fraud because why wouldn't they?  So these people had to go public because there was no other way to expose it.  This gives the federal government another reason to look into the state - not only in Michigan - to see stunts like this.  It's yet-another step the Trump administration is taking to fight voter fraud and if there's a chance to beat the left in November, I think this is where it will come from.  They're getting rid of illegals, cut funding for NGOs, undoubtedly have worked to stop other options.  The Democrats will still try to steal elections but they'll have to work out new ways and they aren't used to this.

The clerks are also making a point that they tried to do something about this and the whole system wouldn't let them.  I'm really not someone who uses phrases like "the whole system" but there you go, it's clear that politicians have found ways to keep themselves in power as long as they want.  Really, I'm surprised that there any clerks who spoke out against this.

I seem to go back and forth from positive to negative on my reactions to these reports.  I've chosen positive today, at least until the medication kicks in and my ex-girlfriend begs me to forgive her and take her back.  Wait, did I write that?  Better not jinx it.  Anyway...

Bessent says “Treasury has mapped every node, every facilitator, and every network that Iran has used to smuggle oil and evade sanctions.”  So my reaction is that this is what we spent the last six months doing, indentifying how Iran has connected itself around the world to pursue its goals.  We've destroyed their military so they can't do anything about it by force.  We've destroyed their economy already, one US dollar is now worth about 2 million rials.

So Iran itself is basically helpless, all it can rely on is allies and they're the ones who will be hit by these new sanctions.  They'll be exposed as laundering money for "drug/human/sex/arms/dark web networks" that have been built over the decades.  That's probably half the liberal *woke* agenda right there.  And then there's China, they haven't been able to get oil from Iran for a while now.  Russia produces a lot but they've already got their customers and can't really handle China right away.

I've seen "two weeks" mentioned in a number of articles on this.  Most people are thinking of the 25th anniversary of 9/11 which, you know, deserves to be thought about.  And it deserves to be hitting the enemy where they live they way they hit us.  But that wasn't even what I was thinking about when I started this paragraph, I had noted that this will have been roughly 90 days since Trump said gas prices would be lower in 90 days.  I still don't think it has anything to do with the war, it's about the drilling deals Trump made in early 2025 but just look at the timing and the planning it would take to make this happen.

So now we're going to see how the enemy reacts in the next "two weeks."  [and now I'm going to have that scene from "Total Recall" in my head.]  Democrats have been mostly silent about Iran for a while, now we'll see how their servants react.  This may explain why DSA has suddenly exploded and taken over, Congress knew this would happen.  I'm also wondering if this explains why we've suddenly been told Bill Clinton is getting close to death, that way he can't be blamed for anything.  I'm probably being over-optimistic but this could be a big show ready to start.

I probably guessed this would happen but I really thought they would delay it for a while.  I guess they hoped to end the fuss as quickly as possible.  I don't think that's going to happen.  At best, the WNBA will lose all the publicity it's gotten for the past few weeks and it's not a profitable business.  It's a charity for the NBA, good luck without that.

One of the aspiring players has already commented on this bigotry and discrimination.  The player might well be looking into legal options to fight the transphobes.  The public statement was generally entertaining in its babbling but if you take it seriously, it's indistinguishable from any other male who's decided to be female, so what's the problem?  This isn't a problem the league will solve just be deciding it can determine who someone's gender is.

I do think it'll go silent at this point.  Hopefully these two will sue so that means they'll have to go quiet.  This season's draft is probably close enough that nobody else will be able to step up and give it a shot so the league has a little leeway.  But they want this to end, hopefully as the winner but if it keeps going, they're going to lose.  So we'll see if this comes back next year but unless something surprising happens, I assume it's over for the time being.

He specifically talking about Fauci as the most obvious example.  That's totally fair and I hope something is done about it but (a) I don't think there's much chance of success and (b) I don't think anything can be done about it.  Fauci's old, he'll be dead long before this is a relevant issue to him.  If we're lucky, the state governments will make him miserable but I just don't see a big chance of winning on that.

To me the issue is more about determining the policies of using the autopen.  I'm pretty sure Trump has used it meaning there's a legitimate question on when or how it should be an option for the POTUS.  It was used during Trump's 4-year vacation but that's a separate issue.  It must be looked into and is what they're talking about here with Fauci but we are talking about the POTUS using it.  I don't recall any mention of it during Obama's term and I'm not sure this would have been an issue earlier.

Having said that, there are already rules on doing this sort of signature, I dealt with that just from being a supply sergeant and seeing rule changes for my commander's signature, or dealing with teams on deployment.  I don't know what the rules are but they have clearly existed for a long time and a lot of thought has been put into this already.  At least as much thought would have gone into the POTUS using the autopen as the military so it's just a valid question of how unnamed White House staff got these signatures for Fauci and everyone else.  Did anybody know about it?

So I think this is a valid question that needs to be looked into.  I don't think the answers will be meaningful to the rest of us in any real sense but at least there should be a definite policy.  There are times when the POTUS can't sign by pen for whatever reason and autopen should be used but those occasions should be minimized and defined.  No idea how long it'll take to do that.  And yes, go after Fauci and the rest but don't expect any wins on that.

It's odd that this is coming out now.  Bill has been in bad health for a while but it's the sort of thing you'd expect them to stay silent about until it finally happens.  I guess there was a bit noise about Jimmy Carter before he died and he'd been mostly forgotten by then.  Bill is not in that category.  I expect he'll want a big funeral and probably wants a bunch of celebrities to visit before he dies, like Ozzy Osbourne did.

There's speculating that he's having his will redone and the beneficiaries will be a surprise.  With that much money, I'd think the laws would change often enough that the will has to change regularly anyway.  With DOGE and the Big Beautiful Bill cutting off a lot of options, there are probably reason to change who gets the money.  Taxes and regulations still apply to the Clinton Foundation (maybe) so they need to account for that.

Bill has been the center of a lot of conspiracies for the last thirty years so these must be getting close to an ending.  It seems unlikely that he built anything that will really survive beyond him.  The Clinton Foundation will probably exist at least long enough to support Hillary but Chelsea might need to sell it for scrap to maintain her lifestyle.  Beyond that, what has the family really brought to the world?

And just a note because I'm still surprised by this.  Many years ago I was shocked to learn that Jimmy Carter and George Bush Sr. had been born at close to the same time, October 1 and June 12, 1924 respectively.  It just never made sense that two POTUS would be so close in age.  But then I learned that Bush Jr. and Bill Clinton were born even closer in date, July 6 and August 19, 1946, then I learned Trump was born June 14.  Three two-term POTUS born within 66 days?

She is specifically aiming at China and cites Neville Roy Singham, a leftist billioniare who is clearly used as a tool to fund the left.  Just a brief look at his wikipedia page indicates that he's always pushed for globalism and has clearly always been used by China.  He became rich with a computer company in the late-80s-90s which seems to have made a lot of leftists rich.  He's fine as a target but if he weren't doing this, someone else would be.

He's been fine with a lot of leftist dictators and is rich enough that he was probably friends with them.  The way his wealth can be used probably helps demonstrate the use of NGOs and similar groups to funnel money around the world.  He's very opposed to the US support for Ukraine which does surprise me.  If he's a fan of China, he'd probably support Russia too but this does raise questions about how Ukraine launders money.  That was the only big thing that stuck out for me, otherwise he's totally leftists and has the wealth to back it up.

The Trump administration has been negotiating with China for a year+ now.  Not sure what they're talking about, probably a lot of things, but this might explain some of the decisions they've been making.  It does seem to be generally accepted now that China is the main enemy in this war, at least the 'big boss.'  It is strange how much of this is actually being handle at the bargaining table.

This war has really lost the script.  First of all, Ukraine has been hitting Russia with a lot of drones and presumably rockets or missiles.  Where did these all come from?  Who is supplying this?  It's not clear how much of this has been successful but even if it was, this is Russia.  You successfully hit a thousand places, they've still got fifty thousand more that are far out of range.

But this leads me to the second point, if these are such important targets in Kiev, why has Russia waited so long to strike?  You saying you could have hit them three years ago and the war would be over?  If not then they aren't that crucial to Ukraine.  Yes, there are stories about their grocery stores being empty.  That's bad and it would be nice if they surrender but Iran's in the same position and look how that's working out.

Ukraine is suffering other internsal struggles.  Zelensky's Deputy Chief of Staff is being busted for corruption.  The former Defense Minister is trying to get elections restarted so he can run against Zelensky who obviously has no incentive to allow that.  Obviously we don't know the facts on the ground but this does look like both sides are fine with the war being a regular thing, the new permanent.  If China really is behind all this, it makes me wonder if Trump negotiating with them has put both Ukraine and Russia without a clue what they're doing.  Even more than usual I mean.

□ [A.I. “Christopher Reeve’s Superman Meets Supergirl | The Meeting We Never Got"]

A.I. is slowly getting better at videos.  There's nothing flashy or interesting about the visuals but there's also nothing that stuck-out to me as a distraction.  The angles didn't suddenly change, the characters looked the same throughout.  The characters look right although their faces can seem a bit artificial at times.  The pacing is still too slow to be believable but it's slowly getting better, as is the characterization.  Clark offers to take Supergirl back to the Fortress, he adds "I should probably change" and she has a short startled laugh.  Just a brief second but it came across like people having a real conversation.

They're still very stiff so the rest of the chit-chat is slow and boring.  They mostly discuss events from the Supergirl movie and I'm very surprised to have recognized that.  I really don't remember the Helen Slater movie so I don't know how good this was but there is an immediate delight to seeing Christopher Reeve back in the costume.  There's little in the way of story or acting but despite that, it looks nice and probably gets some credits just because someone was able to make this.

I would like to know how much the real creator was involved in the design, the staging, the pacing, and how much was just telling the A.I. 'do this.'  It's not clear when these will be easier to make and how long it'll take to make them good but that will be the result sooner or later.  I can certainly see the appeal to doing these.  Soon people will be doing whatever they want with corporate IPs and there's no way to know how that's going to work out.  I'm definitely curious and I will probably wind up watching some that actually respect characters I used to care about.

They needed to promote how leftist they were to the leftists who run the party to win the leftist primary votes, now they need to pretend they're not leftists to win actual votes.  By all rights there's no way that should work.  It's just one of those things where if they were smart enough to do that, they wouldn't be leftists.

But there is still massive reason to worry about voter fraud.  There's also the fact that they've been loading schools with leftist propaganda for generations and it's obviously worked out pretty well for them.  We've cut government funding and all the illegal immigrant votes.  I'm sure the Trump administration knows all the other scams that will be tried and will do what they can to prevent it but there's know way to know how effective that will be.

It would be nice to believe that sensible people will vote the right way.  The 2024 election went a long way towards letting us know that we really are the majority and there's no reason to think that's changed.  But that's one of the left's real abilities, making the individual see themselves as completely alone and outnumbered.  Social media and the internet doesn't help either.

Hopefully the left will be seriously defeated at the ballot box this November.  Even those who win will have a small majority and realize they're surrounded by a lot of people they hate.  We really can't stay together like this and the only way to change that is either if the left realizes what a bad situation they put themselves in or if we just wipe them out permanently.

Strange how these people never give Trump any credit for promoting their socialism.  They couldn't be doing this without him.  And because he's such a tyrant, he's not even bothering to stop them.  All these rich leftists are thrilled to see big companies leave so they won't have to pay taxes or hire people.  They never realize this is why East Berlin had to build a wall, it wasn't to stop people from coming in.

I'm fine with these companies leaving, my worry is that the people in charge will bring their leftist values to red states.  We can see that with Hollywood as the big studios are getting ready to leave California.  These people are fine with hypocrisy and they certainly expect to keep their wealth so what is there to stop them?

There's also the worry about what A.I. is going to do to basic jobs.  That's going to hit the working class harder than most if robots are able to replace our jobs.  The economic system is going to be taking a huge hit no matter what and it's not clear what the results will be.  Another skill the left has is that their elites are good at surviving everything so unless they get purged by their own leaders, they'll still be pushing leftism no matter what.

I'm sure there are plans for this but there's no way to know how well they're working.  We've heard almost nothing about Venezuela since the beginning of the year.  We're told China is having economic problems but there's no way to know that for sure.  Ditto Russia.  Iran is definitely having economic problems but it's the country where the rulers would be most likely to survive despite that.

Then there's Cuba which has hassled us longer than any of the others and has been a useful weapons for them to hit us with.  Reportedly their leaders have been surrendering economically so long as they get to stay in power.  As always, we don't know the real facts on the ground, this is just what I've heard.  I realized a day or so ago that Trump is effectively fighting BRICS himself and if he's not winning, he's at least doing a lot of damage to them.  South Africa is basically falling apart on its own and India seems to go with whoever they think will give them the best offer.

There is definitely a plan going on here.  If nothing else, just look at how Democrats in Congress have stayed almost totally silent about the war with Iran.  Their followers are ranting about how awful it is but those who get classified briefings know that there's more going on here.  That must be why they're pushing DSA but no clue who they really think that'll work for.

They're just moving around as they choose.  It says there's been about a dozen recent incidents like this, the French usually just let them go anyway.  They usually avoid involvement because of the danger and risk to life.  Just shoot the boat!  These people won't be capable of swimming the channel so that will solve the problem.  For all these centuries, the French haven't been able to invade Britain but the people who conquered France are allowed to do that?  Although I guess I'm surprised they aren't just using the Channel Tunnel.

The French prime minister is at least talking about the problems they have, drug gangs who bribe, blackmail or intimidate public officials and police.  Not that they're going to do anything about it but at least he's admitting it.  The implication is that upcoming French elections will be hit by right-wing candidates that actually promise to do something about this.  It sounds nice but this is still France so, well...

Even worse, this is where each of us has our own internal struggles as we watch France and Europe deal with this.  I think very few people are willing to outright say 'they're done, it's over.'  But at some point that's going to happen, anything that is not infinite comes to an end.  As always, the government is doing everything it can to fight the people so that means siding with the invaders.  And face it, other than massacuring all the Muslims and their leftist supporters, what exactly can be done to turn this around?

That should be expected.  The take-over of Warner Bros. going on might be delayed but it will happen.  If it does't, the company is too broken and the collapse will happen anyway, so they need to get rid of their high-paid producers who bring them little besides failure.  Even if they said they'd wait for Gunn's contract to be done, I don't know if he could believe them.

It's still strange to see how much attention I've been giving to DC products which I have no interest in seeing.  I've heard youtube commentary but otherwise haven't seen a DC product since Dark Knight in 2008.  Even the comics characters I used to care about are almost as far away from my interests these days.  But they're still part of my life and are very helpful in illustrating this disaster.

The new Green Lantern tv show has just started.  Reportedly the first episode had good ratings but we also heard Supergirl had a good opening weekend.  Apparently the show is completely *woke* and even Supergirl didn't have that problem.  At this point I have to think half the audience at the opening is there to make videos about how horrible it is, or paid studio shills.

But this is what Gunn has been reduced to.  He was supposed to make a ton of movies and tv shows, very few of which have ever come out.  Or even gotten started.  I don't get why they're bothering to let him get through another Superman movie before his contract is up, it sounds like the sort of thing he'd deliberately mess up just to prove he can.  We'll see how long it take to get rid of him, a lot probably depends on the ratings for the rest of Green Lantern.

It will also depend on how many secrets he has on the other people in charge and I'm sure has a lot.  Look at how defensive everyone was for him after his tweets about raping children came out.  That will help him a lot but there are limits.  It took years for Disney to get rid of Kathleen Kennedy, I doubt Gunn has that much to fall back on or so many high-ranking people willing to protect him to save themselves.

She's not really considering it, she's asked about it and answers "who knows?"  In theory she's a doctor but that doesn't mean she knows anything.  She just expresses how worried she was by Joe's performance, then dragged him to a campaign event after the debate instead of getting him checked out.  'Til death do us part' might need a little help.

The elites have seperate version of "marriage" than normal people and that lines up with leftists who seem to oppose the basic concept.  Or at least they want to apply it to everyone.  One man/one woman is Wrong, anything else is perfect.  So far they haven't figured out a way around that but not for lack of trying.  This is why they can enjoy adultery and going through multiple marriages.  It's probably why so many high-ranking liberal women marry men who are obviously gay, like Nancy Pelosi.  This also lets them get incredibly wealthy.

Women are less likely to want to deal with the public scrutiny of fame and power but they like the benefits.  Recently I've been noticing how many of these politicians seem to be doing what their wives want rather than what actually supports the voters.  I've also assumed that's why last year's protest motto was 'no kings' instead of 'no royalty whatsoever.'  No, the queens intend to keep their place, they'll just sacrifice the men to do it.

Of course the queens have to fight it out amongst themselves.  Hillary Clinton, Tipper Gore, whoever John Kerry's married to these days, Michelle Obama, just to name a few.  You could make a case that they've run the show and sent their husbands out to promote the new liberal ideology, abortion, global warming, race, complaining about rich people while being very rich themselves.  There's a reason the queen is the most powerful figure on the chessboard.

But they need to work out who the real queen is, they just don't want the public to know the details.  So here we see Joe is done so Jill has nothing else to fall back on.  Hillary never gets asked why she was so close to Harvey Weinstein, he was just doing his job as her servant, much like her husband does.  And as elitist women, they're always more than a little interested in witches.  Conspiracies build on each other the more you look into it, meanwhile their husbands have to do the actual work and take the blame because that's what men are there for.

Right, those people who insist on getting rid of the senate are right there with people trying to elect senators.  The depressing part is that they really are on the same side.  They don't give any real thought to what they're saying, no consideration of how they contradict each other, and they'll switch beliefs when they're told to.  Just look at how many rich people support this party.

Everything about Martin comes off as being a puppet but just the fact that everyone agreed to install him in this position indicates some ability.  Specifically that he's able to work with anybody.  Not saying he has any real character but it's gotten him this far and he doesn't need to convince any voters.  Essentially he's just *there* but at least they can rely on that.

To an extent he's just doing what Joe Biden was supposed to do, be a place-holder until they get a new leader of the proper gender and skin color.  It'll probably work out for Martin about the same.  If they can steal enough elections this November, he'll be able to retire as a victor or be pushed out by the 'new wave.'  If the party doesn't win, of course he's done.  The fact that he's going with this 'big tent' rhetoric shows how weak his position is and how much illusion the whole party is running on.  Election fraud is the only hope they have, soon we'll find out if it's enough.
