So now they're going to fire people they were stopped from firing a few months ago?  I don't now how many federal workers are actually willing to stand up for themselves but even those that aren't have got to be tired of going back and forth on this.  They didn't get to be incompetent and lazy by dealing with such constant changes.

That said, a lot of them will just obey.  How many of them is the question.

So now all we're missing is Led Zeppelin, who by the way have more living members than Pink Floyd does.

Obviously this isn't really a reunion in any real sense.  David Gilmour heard that a band he had played with in 2015 had broken up so the singer could go fight for Ukraine.  The guy did a video singing a 1914 protest song.  Gilmour worked out music to go around it and, since the "Pink Floyd" name would give it more publicity, got Nick Mason to play drums.  He brought in the hired bass player, if that counts.

One thing I will give it is that it sounds like an actual song, the sort of thing that used to be done back-in-the-day.  Gilmour doesn't sing anything and Mason has lost whatever drum skill he ever had.  I will admit enjoying it.  I was never a fan of Gilmour's guitar playing and this is nothing special, but he did always have a very distinct sound which isn't easy to do.  I may not be a fan but there's a reason lots of people are, and the music itself does sound good.  I could easily picture listening to this again.

All that's mentioned of Roger Waters in the interview is that, a week before the invasion, he said talk of an invasion was “bullshit ... anybody with an IQ above room temperature knows [an invasion] is nonsense.”  He has said since that invading was “the act of a gangster” but opposes “propaganda to demonise Russia.”

Gilmour's only comment on this was “Let’s just say I was disappointed and let’s move on.  Read into that what you will.”

How informative.  There's no reason to think the world needs this.  And yes, if Brian May and Roger Taylor release a new song, I'll buy it just because it's the Artists Formerly Known As Queen.

I think this is typical of leftists, they can rename anything into whatever they want.  Russia changed St. Petersburg into Petrograd in 1914 because it had a German influence and there was a war starting.  In 1924, they changed Petrograd into Leningrad to honor their great leader.  In 1991 they changed it back to St. Petersburg.

They always think they have total control but no matter how many decades they execute/imprison anyone who disagrees, there's always more who disagree and the first time they get to really vote, they go for the actual names.

Really, it's about showing they have total control over everything and whatever they're changing is just an excuse they tell themselves.

Where would she have to put her mouth and hands on his body before you'd consider it "close contact"?  Can't you at least point to a virus that admits 'that's not close enough for me to get to'?

Why can't they just admit their rules don't apply to them?  That would be so much easier for everybody.

That's why you're supposed to abort them, isn't it?  That kills them too but you absolutely support that.

So they're just going to give him another one next year, then what do they expect to do?  They gave Roman Polanski one and had Harrison Ford fly over to give it to him personally.  They gave Harvey Weinstein an Oscar.

This really is coming off like it's their actual goal.  Abortion and gays and everything else are just decorations, sticking it into children is their biggest desire and the purpose is to keep the kids from growing up like actual human beings.

Ok, maybe they have a different ultimate goal, but it obviously requires this first and foremost so what's the difference?  Is it that much better that they need totalitarianism to stick this into children?
