It comes down to who's tougher.  The mullahs have the advantage in power but Iranians don't have much to lose.  I think they're at a point where the government would just have to keep killing them and there's a limit to how far that can go.  Even if they can kill so many that the survivors cave in, the population would be effectively neutralized and you couldn't get anything else from them because there's nothing left to take.

That's not counting the rumors that at least some high-ranking officers have sided with the people.  Self-protection or just refusal to slaughter so many people, that would further expand the resistance.  Of course there's no way to know if this is true, I'm mostly posting on this because it's believable.  Still a few days before the USS Abraham Lincoln will arrive.  Wonder what will happen then.

Not sure how relevant this is but it's nice to hear about any victories like this.  This also suggests that some in the government are turning on the mullahs because the internet is down in Iran for everyone else, yet the tv station was hacked.  There's other possibilities - US agents working with the protesters - but every little bit helps.  Although I have to wonder who's even watching tv at this point?  You'd think the station employees are the only ones paying attention to that just because it's their job.

And the mullahs blame Trump.  Even the Ayatollah has spoken out that it's all his fault.  It's nice to know he has something in common with Democrats.  They still don't have much to say about Iran, non-white people risking their lives to protest the tyrannical government.  I guess I can understand why they'd stay quiet about this but I still don't get why nobody ever asks them about this.

The video shows her repeatedly harassing and assaulting him.  A man who did this would be arrested but leftists don't want the genders treated the same.  They are or were in college together so this isn't a brand-new meeting.  It may not even be the first assault, he seemed quite restrained and ready to protect himself.  A sane city would have already sent the police over to get her but I don't assume Philadelphia will live up to that.

They're trying to get people involved in this everywhere, not just Minnesota.  To an extent, I'm sure it'll work although I still think it won't work as well as they expect.  Today there was supposed to be a 'strike,' people walking out and ganging up on their state governments or congressional offices.  Haven't heard anything about that happening so I'm guessing it didn't go anywhere.

I'm still staggard by how this quickly became an issue.  The fact that Trump brought it up a year ago indicates that this was always part of the plan although it still makes no sense.  Maybe it's just the easiest argument to make but this just looks like getting away from NATO really is the main goal.  Be so annoying that they want us gone.  That will justify the tariffs, let us return the troops and the rest of Europe would have to build up a military or just surrender to Russia.

This is a big deal at the World Economics Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland.  The US sent in a lot of people which isn't usual. I'm guessing very few of them are focused on Greenland.  They've used the last year to go through DOGE and all the other money-laundering schemes so these people have specific targets at Davos who have profited from this.  Gavin Newsom is there for some reason, as is Macron.  They make a point of insulting Trump, not sure what they'll get out of that.

I'd like to think that this is also about exposing secrets these elites have.  It's being pointed out that Europe is still buying Russian oil after four years of wanting war with Russia.  That...  destroys the environment but apparently it's not much of a priority for them.  It's also suggested that A.I. will need a lot of electricity from fossil fuels so right there the elites stop pretending to care about that.

There's a new Star Trek tv show out, it was given a free preview on youtube and the viewership was incredibly low.  Only a couple thousand people were devoted Trekkies willing to see it immediately and the next several days of viewership didn't increase by much.  You have to wonder how many of these viewers were just hoping to make a video bashing it.

By all accounts, it was entirely *woke.*  This is a media example of what we've seen in the last few years, where big companies saw the Bud Lite disaster and then waited a while before deciding to do the same thing.  Maybe the Star Trek management takes longer to get around to it but this is just such an idiotic idea, couldn't anybody speak out to stop it?

I can't drop the theory that these corporations are run by leftists who specifically want to destroy these huge old franchises.  How else do you get to this?  You see someone else driving off a cliff and decide to go the exact same direction, not a good move.  Then there's the fact that none of these companies are admitting had badly they've messed up.  That's the only way they could recover and there's no indication they'll do that.
