□ [“'We're Going to Get Answers': Congress Signals Investigation Over Ilhan Omar's Sudden Wealth"]
She was broke when she got into Congress, now, barely seven years later, she's got $30 million. Sounds like she demanded a share of the pie each Somali brought in with taxpayer help. Or you can blame her latest husband - her third, and possibly the first one she's not related to - who went to the Mr. Nancy Pelosi school of corporate investment. So yes, Congress needs to look into this.
But will they actually do anything? Now *maybe* this is part of the plan, to really start digging into how all this taxpayer money has been looted and what big corporations are using politicians as tools to keep the profits high. That would be good to see, we need more of that. But maybe this won't go anywhere because all of Congress is in on this and really don't want to give up the expensive lifestyle they're accustomed to.
Gotta say, the latter seems more likely. What real incentive do they have to fix anything? Maybe it would be something if they only went after the opposing party but there's still the 'uniparty.' They really have no incentive to fix things. The House Oversight Committee has saying the right things for the last year or so but they haven't really done anything. And now they're getting ready to be re-elected, they have no reason to mess anything up.

□ [“National Guard Troops Mobilized in Minneapolis as Trump Threatens to Invoke Insurrection Act"]
This article totally avoids answering who mobilized the NG, so your guess should already be that Walz did it. I checked a leftist site who cites CNN that yes, that's what happened. They're happy about this for some reason, I don't think they're looking at the implications. For starters, Minneapolis was becoming chaotic. There's too much video of citizens being harassed by the leftists, never mind that they're also attacking federal agents. One of the points Trump was making is that states and cities are supposed to maintain their own territory and Minnesota had been failing to do that for the last few weeks.
□ [“Biden-Appointed Judge — ICE Can't Use Non-Lethal Weapons or Arrest 'Peaceful' Agitators"]
When are they going to do something about these activist judges? You try to drive over a government official and they can't arrest you, much less perform a 'late-term abortion'? That's not going to work. I assume they'll obey for the moment and immediately appeal to a higher court but most people wouldn't blame them if they just ignored it.
This judge's verdict does mention that the protesters don't interfere with federal agents doing their job - meaning she hasn't bothered to see any of the footage - but the implication is that these protesters aren't actually doing anything. Not a single illegal alien has been saved from ICE by doing this, they have continued to locate and arrest as many of them as possible, as if the protesters weren't there at all. So why are the protesters there? And why do they think they're there?
I'm guessing the protests will stop, or at least go down a lot, now that Walz has sent in the National Guard. They need to make him look good and it's time for a new tactic. More protests and violence, maybe they've got most of Congress in-line so they can go after Trump again. But they must have lost a lot of illegal aliens in the last year, not sure how they'll recover there.

□ [“It's Not Men Who Radicalized; It's Women"]
They've always been that way. It's just the media and increase in technology has made it easier for women to get away with it. Radio, movies and tv made them think what they said was relevant to others, and easy to manipulate into thinking all women agreed with them. Electricity and indoor plumbing meant it took less work to maintain the home so they started feeling entitled to more. Soon you get 'no-fault divorce' and legal abortion and they still demand more. The insanity doesn't stop until men refuse to put up with it anymore.
There are plenty of exceptions to point to but essentially men are individualist and women are collectivist. That's why men are in charge, they need to figure out what's right for them and their family, if they have one. Otherwise women think they're making decisions for everyone and can't even handle their own family. The problem just builds on itself, which is why we now use terms like "baby mama" and "baby daddy." It only works if you have 'one man, one woman, 'til death do us part,' but women don't want that and men are fine with that.
The men just go along with it and look for the easiest way to get by. A lot of men have realized how much cheaper and easier life gets when you stop pursuing women. Fewer and fewer males are willing to take part in this leftist insanity and they're increasingly pretending to be a brand-new gender, or just getting violent. That's probably related to how women are increasingly radicalized.
I really don't expect this problem to be solved in our lifetime. The fundamental disagreements are biological so it'll never change but unless society collapses and we have to spend several years with no electricity, hunting food, killing marauders, I don't see any way to fix it. If there's a change, it'll be because leftism has become so repulsive that even women want to get away from it. There's no reason to bet on that happening so men will just carry on as always.

□ [“Trump Announces Tariffs on 8 NATO Countries Until Deal is Reached for 'Complete and Total Purchase of Greenland'”]
As always, Trump is going about this is in the most annoying way he can find. He does say that Russia and China want Greenland but that's the closest he gets to an explanation. Why do they want it and why haven't they taken it in all these years since obviously nobody has made any effort to stop them? No, they shouldn't have any part of North America but there's no real explanation of why anybody would care if they did. What's in it for Russia and China to do this?
Without a solid explanation, Trump is not going to get any support from anybody on this. Yet he's just doubling down with the tariffs? He's planted new ones now and they'll go up much higher by June if he doesn't get Greenland. I can think of several possible explanations for all this but it's really tiresome to keep doing this. If there's a legitimate point to this, say so, even if it's just giving NATO an excuse to kick us out.
Otherwise there will be a point where we just give up on him. There's too many other problems that he has yet to fix without creating new ones like this. I'm probably in the minority that I support what he's doing with Iran and Venezuela - maybe even Syria - but there is still the relevant promise he made to stay out of other nations' problems, including Greenland. Drop the charade, make a sensible argument or quit doing this. And yes, I know he's Trump so he's not going to quit doing this but it's very very irritating.
