I assume there's a lot of legal hurdles to jump, I would like to think that Trump and his people have already taken care of that as much as possible so they can get started anytime.  The protesters are attacking ICE, looting their vehicles, all that stuff.  They're even harassing normal people just for driving vehicles vaguely similar to ICE, and it's the victim's fault.  Hopefully Trump has given his last warning.  And by the way, I notice his internet posts have gone back to being short and direct in the last week or so, like they were when he took office.

Walz has suddenly changed.  He's been promoting these protests all along, demanding more and has said at least twice that Minnesota is at war with the federal government.  That would be all the 'insurrection act' evidence needed.  Maybe that's why he suddenly said today that there should be more peace, 'turn the temperature down.'  Someone might have finally made it clear to him that if he's not with the federal government, he's the enemy and it's not like he gets any authority from his charm and personality.

The city police have been told to stand down.  Pretty sure the state police aren't involved, at least not on-behalf of the state government.  That leaves the federal officials the only ones on the ground to do their job, and they're the ones being attacked.  Walz didn't cause this but he's pushing it as much as possible so if there's "insurrection," he's legally responsible.  But at least he's not wasting time trying to do anything about the Somalis looting taxpayer money, that's too much like work.

I get that she self-identifies as one of the elite but where would she get the money to buy a mansion?  I'm sure she has a lot more money than the rest of us but she can't get a job so how will she pay for this?  As far as we know, she still owes millions of dollars in campaign debt so how does 'let's buy a mansion' fit into that?

My impression is that this part of the money funneling scheme Democrats and their allies have been implementing for years, which we're finding out from her co-candidate Tim Walz in Minnesota.  Don't have any idea how she's involved - maybe her husband knows - but I think that's where it goes.  I also have to wonder if it's about more than 'profit.'  It's not just that she laundered enough money to spend it on a mansion, the house might be used for other purposes which keeps the money flowing.  Effectively she's an employee and this is where her workspace is, it just happens to make her look wealthy and upper-class.  Just speculation but can't get that thought out of my head.

She's not going away, or at least she's trying not to.  Problem is, she can't do anything so there's no reason to pay attention to her.  And notice that she's gotten very little attention for over a year now.  A supposed book-tour, a few other appearances and that's been that.  Her legions of die-hard fans aren't asking what she's doing these days, none of the ICE protestors are calling for her leadership.

I'd say it's 50-50 if she ever has any chance of coming back.  It's theoretically-possible Democrats will have grown up enough by 2028 to realize why she was such a bad candidate.  If they haven't, she will still get ripped apart in the primaries which the party can't afford to skip this time.  The only chance she has is that the party is still entirely *woke* and they need to bend over and give her all the privileges.  But that would wipe out any potential candidates for a long time and even if that's the case, why not just give Hillary Clinton another try if she's still breathing?

These are just rumors, no clue if they're true.  Supposedly the US needs to get more troops in and Israel still needs to get ready, since they'll be involved.  It's believable but for convenience sake, I'll just assume the attack is continuing on-schedule and is probably already underway.  But the fact that we haven't gotten any real news for a few days leaves lots of room for rumors.

It's also speculated that the government itself is falling apart, which is also believable although obviously there's even less evidence for that.  My impression is that everybody just seems to accept it now that the mullah regime is done and it's just a question of when Trump goes through with it.  If true, those in charge have probably broken into factions, trying to work out how to survive and how much money they can grab before they run.

Now that I think about it, that silence is strange.  Russia and China aren't speaking out for their BRICS ally.  Democrats aren't demanding that Trump call it off.  The Muslim world isn't blaming Israel for everything.  The Minneapolis protestors aren't claiming any parallels with Iranians.  It's like the whole world is just waiting for the mullahs to be 'past-tense.'

Wow, remember when this war was a big deal to some people?  What a simpler time that was.  Back when Democrats were so eager to get into a war.  But of course Ukrainians have a certain skin color which Iranians and Venezuelans don't share, so *some* people must be saved from evil tyranny and war.  They also help funnel a lot of money from the US, even taxpayer funds.

The new Minister of Defense is complaining about the bureaucracy overwhelming the military.  That is a problem the military will never be rid of but it's also something militaries usually reduce because it gets in the way of fighting a war.  But Ukraine is only getting around to mentioning this now?  Doesn't look good if you want them to take this seriously.

Russia keeps hitting the energy grid.  I'd be a little more impressed but don't they do that every year anyway?  It's fine as a military tactic but it needs to actually work every so often.  Maybe it's just the lack of attention anyone has for this war anymore but this really does make it look like both sides are playing a game, like it was more about deluding the rest of the world than actually fighting a war.  We don't even hear anything about peace talks anymore, everybody's moved on to Greenland.

Another problem is that France is trying to get Ukraine to stop buying US weapons, they want the money to go to the European defense contractors.  Once again, is this about protecting those sweet and innocent Ukrainians from the evil Russian bear or is it about keeping the war going as long as possible to bring in money?  Even Germany and the Netherlands say US weapons would be more affective, then there's the question of Ukraine getting any say in the matter.  None of this would be giving Ukrainians any reason to join the military.
