Flower pot rights: No one can plant seeds in us without permission!

And then I died and went to Heaven.  So God gave me the rest of the story, collections of the last 82 issues of Lee/Ditko's Spider-Man.  Totally worth it.

□ [“Trump Calls Off Iran Military Strikes – 'Full, Large Scale Assault' Ready 'on a Moment’s Notice'”]

If this is true - and it's like everything else in a war, so YMMV - then he says it's because other Mid East leaders asked him to hold off.  He names them so that's probably true.  This makes it look like he's playing the heavy.  He's already proven what his military might can do, the other Muslim countries are - at least officially - on his side, telling Iran to stop fighting back, nothing can stop this guy.  If that's really the case, it's not a bad idea, but I'm just guessing.

In a televised meeting, Iran's President even said the country had been hurt by this war.  He was minimalizing it but the wording makes it clear that this is a big admission.  They really can't stay with insisting they're doing fine and the US is the one with all the damage, their economy and infrastructure is broken.  He could be more honest but the fact that he's admitting this publicly is a big deal.

It's possible the people have finally started protesting, I saw something about that somewhere.  I've also seen that the mullahs are basically out of the way, now the IRCG is in charge.  It's the same as Trump's comments, no way to know how real any of this is, but I've always wanted to believe that we were in this for regime change.  Getting rid of the nuclear program is fine but it's only going to matter if Iran gets a new government.  I still think "Make Persia Great Again" would be the best way to promote this.

□ [“Former EU Foreign Policy Chief Admits Bloc 'Not Very Relevant' on World Stage"]

How strange, you used to be very relevant.  Then you started spending decades telling the world how much better you were than the US and now they don't listen to you.  Yet they still listen to us.  Such a mystery.

He makes one semi-decent point, that the EU leaders are more focused on displaying unity to the rest of the world.  But even there he misses the point, the time and effort spent trying to establish that unity is what shows the rest of the world that the EU is irrelevant.  Yet-another demonstration of how collectivism fails.  If the individuals go their own directions, they can focus on what they're each interested in and succeed or fail on their own.  By focusing on the group, that becomes impossible.

Then he doubles down with an even-stupider suggestion, a “union within the union” where the most important countries will make the decisions for everybody.  It's like the Congress of Soviets electing the Central Committee to run things.  Then the Central Committee establishes the Politburo to run things.  Then the Politburo gets its orders from the General Secretary.  That's what this guy wants to do to the continent.

This is why the EU is breaking apart.  Those less-important nations are increasingly voting right-wing.  Latvia's government has fallen, now it looks like Lithuania is facing the same problems with Ukraine drones.  Angela Markel has spoken out, someone we didn't expect to hear from again, that they should be doing more to talk to Russia.  Andalusia in southern Spain is preparing to vote the socialists out, unless there's election fraud.

□ [“RNC Chair:  130 Lawsuits Filed Across 32 States to Stop Democrat Election Shenanigans"]

There's obviously some big plans in place, at least hopefully.  With requiring IDs to vote, DOGE cutting funding for vote fraud, getting rid of illegals, the redistricting and now these lawsuits, they appear to be pushing really hard to show just how few real Democrat voters there are.  One thing that matters is not just winning these lawsuits, it's that there will be attention on the votes and the counts.  There's whatever the Democrats get and then there's the real tally.

They're finding all sorts of Democrat-favored fraud, thousands of primary ballots sent to the wrong addresses in Maryland is the most recent example.  The acting-AG has just announced that the 2020 election was stolen.  I still think Trump really expected to win but had back-up plans in case he didn't.  We're seeing those plans play out here.

But there's still the obvious problem that nobody's going to believe these results.  Even Republicans have a reason not to trust the winning results just because they've been hit so hard.  Democrats certainly won't believe them.  I'd like to know what can be done to show their leaders that this isn't working and they have to actually win voters over for a change.

□ [“Mamdani-Backed NY Congressional Candidate Pushes 'Trans Bill of Rights' - Taxpayer-Funded Surgeries, Housing and More"]

I'm still surprised that the trans movement has come and gone so quickly.  Even more interesting given how it's apparently been around leftist elites for a long time but the public could generally ignore it, other than jokes like men wearing dresses.  I still cite the Bud Lite ad as the turning point but whatever the real moment was, it was a very clear, very harsh sense of "no further."  And they're still desperately trying to recover from that.

Maybe that's natural, it's been a few years now and they haven't been able to bring in as many children as they used to.  If you're not going to use biology, got to get the next generation in from somewhere.  Still can't figure out how it's happened but I really think the Trump administration has somehow lured the left into putting all these anti-social elements together, with the trans movement as the apex.  To an extent, they don't know how much they've lost and what they do understand, they think it can just be replaced easily.  They haven't recovered from the operation.

What we should be worried about is that our side will lose this next battle.  That seems unlikely but we're not living in sane times so anything can go wrong.  The left is openly proclaiming their tyranny if they ever get the chance to do it again so we can't assume anything will work out for us.  That's what this candidate will do as soon as he/she/it gets the chance, and everyone else on that person's side.
