This comes from the IRGC, not sure if that makes this a more or less serious threat.  They've already tried to hit their neighbors and had to apologize for that.  Some missile attacks have caused damage but not a whole lot.  What could they possibly do now that they couldn't have done two months ago?  This just seems like a worthless threat at this point.  Or even worse, it's just damaging to Iran.  You're mad at the US so you threaten to hit people who aren't the US?  Not a good idea.

The Iranian government is also voting on a bill which will reward anyone with $57,922,500 reward if they assassinate Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu or CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper.  That doesn't seem workable either.  Basically anybody who would be capable of carrying off such an assassination is already being watched, as is the money that would be moved along for funding.  This doesn't make Iran look good but it's more about making noise than actually getting it done.  Maybe they're trying to get leftists to do the actual work.

The left is looking worse for this and don't even seem to realize it.  They're siding with Iran, the tyranny, anti-abortion, gay murderers, all that stuff, who's also shooting missiles at countries that didn't attack them.  Iran and the left have both felt themselves to be at war with the US for the last fifty years but only the mullahs know how to use that.  The left hasn't been as loud as you might expect but there's no doubt which side they're on.

This will cause more problems for Democrats and not just in the obvious ways.  There's the fact that they had to do this report because they lost the election.  They said it would be released to the public but then hid it.  Party members complained about that more and more and someone finally leaked a copy to CNN who said they'd report the leak if the party didn't officially release it.  People on every side have their own reason to think this just looks bad and that's not counting what the report actually says.

Other problems include that the report covers things that the party has denied for the last year and a half.  They blame Biden for not building up Harris, ignoring why she wasn't capable of building herself.  They blame the Harris campaign for just taking victory for granted and didn't actually need to work for it everywhere.  Trump's ad, 'Harris for they/them, Trump is for you' was very effective.  I don't see many references to specific issues.  They claim Harris and the party didn't do enough to define Trump, they always call him "hitler," what else do they need to do?

Every Democrat from DNC Chairman on down insist this isn't important and should be ignored.  Then why did the party waste time and money making it?  If the party already knows what their problems are then why didn't they fix them before the election?  A more relevant point is that this report provides no actual solutions but that's a trap no matter how you look at it.

Any solution would damage at least one section of the voter base and all blame would go to whoever contributed that solution.  The report was also written in a very vague detached style, the people writing it had to protect themselves from the readers.  Rather than describe a problem, they need to look good and smart and self-congratulating.  Then there's the way the readers are eager to ignore anything that might be relevant, that's how they got so far in the Democratic Party.

□ [“Germany’s Merz Pushes Special EU Status for Ukraine"]

Other nations had to work hard for years to finally get permission to join the EU but Merz is willing to drop the standards as low as necessary to help Ukraine.  Nothing suspicious about that.  Is Merz tied to Ukraine in a lot of personal ways or is Germany being its normal self and assuming it's in charge?  It could be both, they've probably been together for many years.  I'm guessing this is part of the deep conspiracy, probably part of the 'new world order' but maybe other conspiracies as well.

Officially Ukraine wouldn't be allowed to vote but since the EU isn't continued by elections, that's quite irrelevant.  Bribe bureaucrats, get your German allies to give orders, it would be easy to describe Ukraine as being the real masters of Europe.  Or vice-versa, Germany would get all the funding needed to expand their power.  The point is that nobody needs to explain any of this to voters.  Just obey.

If this works, they'll just give Ukraine full membership in a few years, nobody will be allowed to object.  Even if it doesn't work, they'll just try again in a few years.  Might have to bully some of the inferior EU members to shut up.  I hope I'm not just being overly-optimistic but I suspect these EU elites are showing their desperation.  Similar to US leftists, all they can do is rush faster towards power because they don't see any other options.

□ [Sumerian Comics - Axl Rose:  Appetite For Destruction]

Last September, this comics company announced a "graphic novel" - barely 100 pages long - about a fictionalized version of Axl.  In an interview, the company co-founder mentioned that those in charge of G'n'R were looking for ways to expand the IP.  I noticed in his interview he didn't say much about the comic itself, just that it could be used for movies, cartoons, video games, etc.  It was a cheap and convenient way to produce new "product."  Because that's what Guns'n'Roses does.

The release date was scheduled for January 2026.  There were five different versions, mostly regarding what trinkets get included with each.  Just buying the book itself would cost $40, not counting taxes or shipping.  For $300, you'd get a bunch of trinkets and Axl would autograph it.  If you know anything about Axl Rose, you can probably see where this is going.

Sumerian Records was founded in 2006 by the son of a known Hollywood director, John G. Avildsen (Rocky 1 and 5, Karate Kid 1-3, Lean On Me].  Looking at the artists on the label, I've never heard of them but a lot of their names suggest the sort who worship the devil.  In 2020, they purchased a comics company I'd never heard of and moved it into licensed titles, part of that 'IP expanding.'  So that's how they wound up with Guns'n'Roses.

The books did not come out in January.  I've seen a handful of references to people eventually receiving their orders but nobody has made any reference to the comic book itself.  It comes off as something to sell to the people who will buy whatever they're told, nothing more.  In theory, it will also interest movie companies and video game companies into doing something with this.  From what it sounds like, that wasn't remotely likely.  There's also the fact that nobody has received their copies that were autographed by Axl.

He just had to sign 500 copies, it doesn't take that long, yet Sumerian Comics has not been able to get anything from him.  G'n'R is currently on tour and take it as a given that he won't do anything until it's over.  They sent people to deliver the comics to him on tour and that's what they reported.  So far there's been no explanation of why they expected anything different.

Sounds like the sales are lousy.  Not sure this had anything to do with the delay, the prices for each version have been cut by 70%.  $12 for the book itself, $90 for the one with Axl's autograph but no word on when that will ever be available.  I haven't looked into it directly but it also sounds like ticket sales for the G'n'R tour aren't doing well.  They can't keep filling stadiums with 40-year old tracks by someone who can't sing yet they're still out there trying.  Best Buy had to massively cut the prices for Chinese Democracy several months after they finally released the album.

I'm still slowly going through Axl's court testimony last January and still haven't gotten through his 'manager' Fernando's testimony but it is very clear that these two pay very little attention to what's going on.  Axl did take part in one or two phone calls and there were emails with his name on it but beyond that, there's no proof that he even knew about this project.  He and Fernando have also demonstrated that they don't do business with written contracts and statements.  Sumerian can't possibly do that, they *must* have it in writing somewhere, given all the other acts they deal with.

So now I'm wondering what will happen here.  It'll probably take a long time - Axl had a similar issue with signing trading cards and it took years to do his part - and I doubt we'll hear much about it.  But this really is showing how little he's done with his life, even as far as contributing to anything else.

In the interview, the comics publisher had mentioned that they brought in three possible story ideas when they started working with G'n'R.  The response for all three was 'sure' so suddenly it became a trilogy.  Axl and Fernando do understand how to take ownership, they did that while recording Chinese Democracy, taking possession of every note recorded by any employee in the studio so no one else will ever be allowed to hear it.  Slash and Duff continued their solo careers even after returning to G'n'R so obviously they (or their managers) knew how contracts were done.  But everyone else lost years of their creative lives working on something so meaningless. 

This will just get worse although it may be hidden from public view.  I wouldn't be surprised if Axl is just kept in a closet until it's time to go on stage, the people in charge have overseen his life for decades and he's fine with that.  But their lifestyle is very expensive so we may learn how desperate they can be to pay for everything.  I've assume that's why Axl has been on tour consistently for the last several years and I also think Geffen Records has complete ownership of his music, at least those handful of albums anybody wants to hear.  I can remember when this band was a big thing and this is where it ends.
